Right new chapter. I'm so sorry for the long wait. I lost my memory stick and I had to do this chapter from memory. So here is the new chapter.

Thrill of the Race

His sensors scanned the manor and a soft smile went over his visible faceplates as he watched the manor from the shelter of the trees as he stretched his parts. Her heart signature was clear as he listened to her heart beat as the sun shone from behind him hiding his shadow. He shifted his pedes before he felt movement from the manor as the servants woke from their quarters or arrived from their own homes for the day of work. He transformed in his alt form and parked into the space in the garage before anyone could notice he wasn't where Scar had parked him the night before.

Sunlight drifted across the gap in the curtains of the bedroom Scar was sleeping in. Tina was in the shower, with her music playing softly that you had to strain to hear it. Lottie was watching her year younger cousin sleep, as she found some clothes for her to wear for the day. Their bedroom door was slightly ajar as a knock came. Looking up from the pumps she had slipped onto her feet she saw Brandon as he hovered outside the door waiting for her to say he could enter.

"Come on in," Lottie said. "Scar is still asleep so I think you may have to wake her."

"Will she claw my eyes out?" he questioned as he looked at the sleeping femme.

"If you truly annoy her to that extent," Tina answered as she walked in, with her hair still damp from her shower. "She being lazy again Lottie?"

"She has been working on that car none stop for the last couple of weeks, cut her some slack T," Lottie defended their younger cousin who groaned something under her breath.

"I didn't catch that," Tina grinned as she nudged Scar with her foot as she climbed onto her bed, getting ready to jump on her back.

"Tina get off," Scar mumbled tiredly as she shifted over to look at the brown haired girl that was standing above her, through half closed blue eyes.

"Tina she will get you back," Lottie warned as she smirked.

Blurr watched with a smile over his face as Scar kicked her cousin off the bed before she pushed the covers off her to reveal her blue spotted shorts and a short sleeved sweat shirt. Scar looked at him and she shot him a smile, before she grabbed some clothes from her part of the closet the girls shared and than disappeared in the bathroom. Blurr had to smile when he heard Scar singing to Tina's still playing Ipod before she emerged, brushing the knots out of her hair before leaving it in it's small unnoticable curles.

"We still up for the camping trip?" she asked him.

"As long as we put the car through its paces," Blurr replied, finding it strange to not be saying him and mine as he refered to himself.

Scar nodded and smiled as she grabbed her over night bag she had packed the night before. Tucking in the laces of her black converses she shouldered her bag and beckoned him to follow her as she left the bedroom and followed the smell of food to the dining room where her uncles looked up from their different newspapers with different news around the city.

"Morning," Scar said along with Blurr as he followed her. "Me and Brandon are still going on our camping trip to the cabin."

"No funny business," Uncle Max warned as he looked at his niece and her friend. "I mean it now."

"Love you two Uncle Max," Scar said with a smile as she grabbed a piece of buttered toast and applied some jam on top of it. "See you all on Sunday night."

With those words, Scar and Blurr left the dining room and than the house for the garage and approached their working project. Scar traced the left wing and stopped at the door as she smiled at how the spray paint had covered the aftermarth of the prank Masterson did to the car. Blyr gave a smile as he watched her. He wondered why he felt the need protect her like an older brother as he opened his doors and they both climbed into the seats.

"You need to learn how to drive," Blurr told her as his engine purred, and he hide the wince as the Earth fuel ran through his circuits.

"Underage," was Scar's response as she chewed her toast. "Besides I have you driving me around everywhere so there is no need to."

Blurr laughed making her giggle along him, before they reached the streets of the city. Scar watched the cermentary go past and her graze flickered to the red numbers that had the time and date. Feeling her stomach do a flip as she realised tomorrow was the ten year anniversary of her mothers death she closed her eyes and placed her head in her hands as she tried to the fight the images that was piecing together to hunt her for the tenth year running.

His sensors picked up the distress as he scanned her and turned his hologram to look at her, as Blurr's hidden eyes observed her, taking in more detail than his human eyes could. He than researched the date and found two newspaper articles from 2034 where the Mayor's older sister had been murdered on the old manor's grounds and that an investigation was going on to found the criminal and the ophangened child left behind.

"Scar are you okay?" he asked concerned as he read through the articles.

"Yeah I forget the date which properly makes me a bad daughter," she whispered thickly and he felt a salty wet liquid slip on his seat.

His spark sank, before he pulled into a parking place and took the upset fourteen year old into his arms and rocked her as she sobbed.

"Shush it be okay," he told her, as he rubbed her back and recorded the converstation for his commander. "Your mother would be happy that you haven't thought about it as your life goes by Scar."

"Yeah if I ever knew her," Scar whispered softly as she wipped away her tears and looked at him. "My daddy left me before mommy died and now I'm scared I'm going to lose you or the others."

Blurr frowned as he wondered how he could cheer her up as he placed her back into his passenger seat and slipped his seat belt around her before he pulled away from the kerb and drove to the forest that was on the east of Detriot and where the cabin was located. Blurr kept his sensors focused on Scar as he drove and he wondered how he could cheer up the youngling that he was seeing more then an assignment from his commander.

Scar rested her forehead against the window as she watched the world go by and she tried to control the tears she wanted to spill more then anything. To her family they understood she had lost her mother but they had their own lives and didn't understand why she burst into tears on the same day every year for the last ten years. To them they didn't have the memory refreshed each year, didn't have to watch Susan Danfold take her last breath as her body shut down and her last sight was the tear-strained face of her daughter before she drifted away to the other side.

Blurr watched her before the sound of car engines reached his audio recptors and he scanned the area where the sound was coming from. A smile went over his hidden faceplates as he saw what sport they were taking part in. Scar frowned when she caught his smirk out of the corner of her eye, before she too heard the sound of approaching vehicles and her own smile matched the one across Blurr's own face.

"This would be really unreasonable of me," Blurr warned as he started to increase his speed.

"Its a distraction," was Scar's answer before she looked to the blurred woods that was increasing in speed. "Just don't destroy the baby."

Blurr smirked inwardly as he reached where the drag race was happening. He slowed down and pulled into a space between a Dodge Charger and a Nissin Skyline GT-R R34. Scar felt her smile widen as she identified some of the other cars around her as Blurr stopped his engine and opened his door. Scar took the hint and unclasped her sit belt and left the car as well. Some people looked towards them, admiring the car they had arrived in as Blurr moved himself closer to the fourteen year old as he caught some guys giving her the look over and than shot him a nasty glare as he pulled her to his side protectively.

"Nice wheels," a voice said, making the duo look towards a slightly older man heading their way.

"Yeah, we came up here to test him out," Blurr said, as Scar slipped her hand into his own. "Nice ride yourself."

The man nodded before Blurr heard more people approaching them. Scar tightened her grip as she looked around her, admiring the two cars on either side of her before a woman caught her eye. The soft curls of the woman hung around her shoulders as she stopped by the duo and the older man.

"New friends Dom?" she asked with a smile.

"Not sure yet Mia," Dom replied. "So you two up for some racing?"

"You sure you can keep up?" Blurr asked, smugly.

Scar looked at Blurr in confusion before a beefy looking guy started to make his way towards them. Feeling her graze else where, Blurr followed his friends graze to rest on the man and his energon froze. This man was going to cause problems that he had started years ago when he killed the one femme that he shouldn't have touched.

"Hello there," he said with a smile. "I don't believe I've seen you around here before."

Blurr resisted the urge to push Scar into his alt form and drive away. Feeling his own unease, Scar looked up at him as he glared at the man.

"Usually stay close to home," Blurr said. "Me and my sister came to see the new buzz up here to test our new baby as she calls him."

Scar nodded, not daring to speak as a thin layer of sweat developed beneath her bangs. Mia looked at the girl in worry before Dom spoke.

"Is there a reason you are here Zack?" he questioned.

"Oh well you see Toretto these two are new here so how about we test their skills by racing for pigs," Zack said, with a smirk. "As well as I get some fun with a girl of my choice from your group."

Blurr frowned, knowing that he had to keep Scar safe for the weekend, but feeling Scar gave a small unnoticeable nod, he knew this was the reason they had come up here; test the car's limits as well as see what speed it can reach for future reference. Knowing if he didn't beat Zack, Scar could get hurt, he made his decision.

"Your on," Blurr said, before he turned to the driver door.

Scar stood by Mia as they stood at the side. Four cars had lined up side by side for the two lap race. Blurr's and Scar's car, Dom's car which was the Dodge, Zack's Camaro 1967 and the Nissan that belonged to a friend of the Torettos.

"Driver's start your engines!" a blonde girl yelled as she stood on a podium in the middle of the two cars. "Go!"

The rev of the engines blasted across the wooden area and dust picked up as the cars drove away.

"Come on," Mia said as she grabbed Scar's hand and pulled her into the back of the pick-up truck behind them. "we are going to have to follow along to film the race."

Scar nodded, sitting next to Mia before a bald black man started the engine and they went down a sidetrack that would led them alongside the race but on a road above them.

There was no denying his pure joy as he took a turn. Blurr hadn't felt this free for so long an he was loving it. Races of Cybertrion happened every couple of Vons and only the racers that were sponsored and not part of the Elite guard could take part. His hologram sat there with it's arms at in its lap as his steering wheel turned anti-clockwise to turn left. His GPS picked up his rivals as well as the vehicle Scar was in. Feeling a small piece of worry, he focused on the race.

In the Camaro, Zack looked outside his windscreen as he analyzed the blue race car that was leading the race. Toretto's Dodge was in second and the Nissan was located behind Zack as he pulled the car into fifth gear to gain more speed to pass the two cars in front of him.

Dom looked into his rear view mirror before he pulled in front of Zack. His heart bounded as he felt the thrill of the race jump start his adrenaline drive as he drifted around another turn. Looking again, he saw his friend O'Connor move into third place on the turn.

Zack cursed as he was over taken by O'Connor. His phone was on a call as he recived orders from his boss.

"Expose him for what he is and see how she reacts," the robotic computer edited voice ordered. "Succed and you can have her as a pet, fail and you will be the lab rat."

The race was coming to an end, as Scar, Mia and their friend overtook the racers from above and they parked a couple of meters to the left of the finishing line. In the distance the dirt from the track was a massive dust cloud before the roar of engines zoomed past with Blurr in the lead. Scar felt a smile go across her face before the engines cut off and she raced to Blurr had excited his alt form.

Blurr felt his smile across his hologram face and his hidden face before a familiar heat signature wrapped their arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. Returning the hug, he looked past her head and looked at Dom and his friend and gave a nod in thanks before he felt Zack approaching them, looking angry.

"Not bad for a robotic freak," he sneered.

Blurr stiffened, making Scar move away from his embrace as she looked at him in confusion.

"Oh she doesn't know," Zack mocked, looking mock- shocked. "I mean of course she wouldn't know that the person she has made friends with had a factor in her mother's murder."

Scar felt ice stuck across he heart, as the pain settled across her face as she looked at Blurr.

"Blurr what's he talking about?" she asked.

Blurr felt his spark sink, as he knew if he lied that Zack would tell her anyway and he wanted to tell her the truth in his own way not by some prick that just so happened to know his true identity.

"Zack stop this," Dom warned as Mia moved forward.

"Why Toretto do you know as well who he is," Zack said smirking.

Scar's eyes was glassing over with tears and shock as Blurr looked down at his hands in pain. People around them where disappearing into their cars, knowing that some shit was about to take place that they weren't invited to see. Scar didn't notice as she looked at Blurr.

"Who are you really?" she finally asked, her voice cracking slightly.

"Scar please I can't tell you," Blurr said. "My orders..."

"STOP LYING TO ME!" she finally snapped, her tears finally falling. "That is all you have done. Lied to me about everything. Just tell me the truth; did you have a part to play in my mother's death or did you know who pulled that trigger and killed her?"

Blurr looked at his hands, feeling his spark pulse painfully knowing she was going to leave if he didn't tell her the truth.

"I didn't pull the trigger but I just stood by as the man did," he admitted.

Scar gasped, feeling pain as she took a couple of steps back before she tripped over. Blurr moved forward but she gave a scream, which finally made Mia move and hugged the sobbing teenager.

"Blurr just go," Mia said, bringing Scar closer to her. "We will make sure she makes it home just let her calm down first."

Nodding, Blurr turned to walk away, before Scar said something that made him stop.

"Stay the hell away from me," she said hoarsely. "You come anywhere near me I will have you done for assisted manslaughter you son of a bitch."

Her words cut through him before she turned away, her hands holding her arms tightly as she walked, with Mia supporting her. Zack smirked, feeling better after losing the race, before he walked away. Stopping at his car he turned back and said something else.

"Hey if I hadn't have told she would have found out anyway," he said with smirk before he started his car and drove away."

"Blurr let her cool off," Dom said as his sister and their other friend took the upset teenager home. "We will keep her safe. Go and see the Commander."

Blurr gave a nod, before he removed a blue shard from his glove compartment and he handed it to Dom before he spoke. "This is a gift from her father but don't tell her that. Give it to her and if she ever just wants to know the truth I will be Downtown with Rhiannon. Goodbye Dom."

Driving away, Blurr watched as Dom shock his head before he turned to walk.

Dom couldn't help but wonder why the guy had just walked way from a girl he obviously cared about but he knew that it wasn't his place to say as he walked towards his Dodge. Brian followed after him.

"What was that about?" Brian questioned in confusion.

"Something that just shouldn't have happened in that way," was Dom's only reply before he entered his car and followed the distant pick up truck.

Unknown Location

The man smirked as he read the report from one of his agents. Know that she was separate from him, he could act as he should have done months ago. Looking at the report he made a plan to make it seem like that his agency was a private investigation firm that could locate her mother's "true killer" which would leave her hating everyone she has ever trusted and make her trust him even more. A knock echoed across his office making him look towards the door.

"Enter," he spoke deeply.

An agent walked in, and stopped on the invisible line five meters away from his desk.

"Sir we are ready to mobilize and take the brat and show her what she really is," the agent spoke, standing up straight.

"Proceed," was the only answer the agent got.
