Chapter 6

*Sasuke's room*

"Teme, explain. Now." A not-very-amused Naruto demanded.

"Hn. It's a long story…" Tired was an understatement. He was exhausted. He really didn't know where to start.

"Don't worry Sasuke-san, we have plenty of time." Hinata said without stuttering at all. The Hyuuga Hinata. The ones who's usually soft, quiet and stutters too much for her own good. Where did the sudden bravery come from?

"C'mon Sasuke! Spill the beans already! This is Sakura we're talking about! Your best friend! My best friend! Everyone's best friend! You know how important she is to us!" Ino said, on the verge of tears.

Silence was her only answer.

Tenten violently grabbed Sasuke by the collar and started to shake him back and forth."Talk Sasuke! Talk! I'll kill the bitch who did this to her! All you have to do is tell us who did this to her and I'll solve this by mysel-"

"Enough Tenten… Just tell us Uchiha." Neji said as he laid his hand onto Tenten's. She let go. But now, even Tenten was on the verge of tears.

"… It was Karin…" Sasuke said softly. He seemed almost defeated.

"I knew it! C'mon guys! Let's go and get the bitch! We can't let her do this to Saki… You'll help right Sasuke? You will right, Sasuke?" It was Kiba's turn to say something.

Everyone went quiet. They were thinking of the same thing. They couldn't lift a hand against Karin.

Why you ask? Well… Karin's family runs the school. You could say that she is the "Princess" of the school, even though she was nothing much like a princess herself. But anyone who dared do anything to cross the line, she would tell "Daddy and Mommy Dearest" to get rid of that "special" someone on the spot.

"We have to stop her from doing things like this ever again… especially to Sakura… not after what happened today…" Hinata said.

Silence was all that she heard.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHH! WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO BE THE DAMNED, GODFORSAKEN CHAIRMAN'S SPOILED DAUGHTER?!" Frustrated, Naruto groaned.

"We can't do anything… Can we?" Ino said, "Again… we lost again... GODDAMNIT! WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO BE THE CHAIRMAN'S DAUGHTER?! SHE CAN DIE FOR ALL I CARE!" Ino lost it.

"Troublesome…" Shikamaru looked over at Sakura's form that was laid on Sasuke's bed, covered in bandages. They were all clueless at how they were gonna get back at Karin without getting expelled. They were all lost in a never ending maze that was set by Karin.

"So what are we going to do now?" Hinata asked with a defeated sigh.

"I'll talk to her." Suigetsu said.

Everyone looked at him.

"What makes you so goddamned sure that she won't expel you? You know she hates your guts." Sai said with his usual fake smile.

"That's right. You'll have better chances talking to mule and you know it." Kiba said with a glare to the wall, directed at no one particular.

"Well, we can't just sit here and do nothing! Look at Sakura! She's hurt because of what Karin did! I know she's the chairman's daughter! But she crossed the line this time! As if the stupid bullying Sakura has to endure everyday isn't enough! Look at what she's done to her! Sakura doesn't laugh or smile or do anything that she used to do when we were kids! Karin messed us up just because of Sasuke-teme over there!" Naruto said. He was tired of the things that Sakura, his dear friend, his first love, his non-related sister, had to go through. He felt so damn tired for her. But no matter how tired, how hurt, how painful it is, she would never tell anyone how she felt. She'd keep everything to herself. He knows. He knows so much about her. So much that it hurts. Sasuke was no exception.

They grew up together. The three of them. They had been somewhat outcasts of the school when they were younger. Never had any friends. Always so alone. It was Sakura that pulled the three of them together.

Naruto was an orphan, and at young age nobody would want to hang out with an orphan now would they? It was Sakura that reached out to him. The outcast, the orphan, the weirdo, the nobody. At first he was hesitant, but after spending more time with her, he finally understood why. "Because I know how it feels like to be alone", that was what Sakura said to Naruto. "But why would someone as nice as you…" "Because of this" She pointed to her face. "What's so bad about your face?" As the idiot he was, he still didn't understand. "Well, don't I look ugly?" She said with a pained face. She continued, "I mean, who has natural pink hair, natural green eyes and a huge forehead at the same time?" She said as she looked down the floor with a sad look. "I guess you're gonna go away soon enough spending some time with me." She said with a pained smile. "No. I'll stay with you Sakura-chan! I'll play with you! Let's be friends forever!" Naruto said with that blinding smile of his. Shocked, Sakura didn't say anything. All she could do was nod.

From that day onwards they were always together. At first, everyone seemed to tease both of them. "Forehead and Orphan" was what they called them whenever they walked past. Naruto would've snapped back if it wasn't for Sakura always holding him back. But he knew that what she was doing was to prevent them from getting into trouble. So he would always thank Sakura in the end for holding him back. And he's still thankful of her. From the very first day they met, he will always be thankful for a friend like Sakura. She was the only reason that he was the person he is today. She was the one who gave him another reason to live his life.

And Sasuke… Sasuke is another story. It happened that fateful day…
