ZoNe13 here. Sorry I didn't upload in a while, I had computer trouble. Let's get this going.

As the orientation period ended, I heard the Jarhead tell us to pick up our name tags just outside the door. I grabbed mine and walked to what appeared to be lunch. The cafeteria was filled with people, and it seemed that I would never make it out of here without people giving me dirty looks, but I kept my cool and walked in. I then grabbed a tray, grabbed what I wanted for lunch, which was a tuna sandwich on white bread, white milk, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. I then walked to where Warren Peace was, which was at a pair of benches that were completely devoid of any people besides Warren. I knocked on his table, and he looked up with a dirty glance.

"Oh, it's just you, Jason. Have a seat." Warren said to me. As soon as I sat down, I got the dirty glances that I solemnly expected, along with a few unexpected mumbles of "Warren is having lunch with another person?" and "That new kid must really hate life to have Warren as a friend." I simply unwrapped my tuna sandwich and started eating. After a few moments of silence from both of us, Warren finally broke the ice.

"So, I heard some new kids say that you can summon demons."

I looked up at him and studied his face. I realized that he wasn't lying, and answered him.

"That's right."

"So what's it like being the Devil's kid?" He asked.

I chuckled. "It's actually cool. For a guy who's supposed to be some 'ultimate evil', he's actually pretty lenient. He lets me do what I please, and doesn't really care if I get into trouble. In all honesty, he's actually a pretty understanding guy." I explained.

His eyebrows went up, and he smiled. From what I've heard around the school so far, Warren never smiles. This was a first for the whole school.

"Let me guess, both of your parents are villains, and they wanted you to be a hero, right?" Warren asked me. He was almost correct.

"Almost. They gave me a choice to be a hero or a villain. Honestly, I don't mind being the bad guy every once in a while, but being called 'The Harbinger of The Prince of Darkness' all the time gets on my nerves. So I chose the hero route not because I'm a good guy deep down, because I'm not. I chose it because it gives me something to do on the weekends."

Warren looked pleased. "When you got off of the bus, you puked, didn't you?"

"Damn right. I'm airsick. I'd rather have my feet planted on a surface that doesn't move like a flying bus." I explained.

"I see."

The bell rang out, and I just realized that I had finished my lunch.

"I'll see you afterschool, at the flagpole, alright?" Warren said. I nodded, picked up the tray, dumped it, and walked out of the cafeteria. Then an announcement rang throughout the hallways.

"For all new students, once you have finished your lunch, you are free to leave. The schedules for your classes shall be at your houses, waiting for you. Thank you."

Warren was next to me when the annoucement happened. "Well, I guess we won't see each other until tomorrow. See you then, okay?" He said.

"Sure." We bumped fists and went our separate ways. I walked out of the doors of the school with my head held high (Well, at least until I get on that damned bus again).
