Fire Across The Galaxy

part 3 of 10

Author's note: Yay, there isn't a week between this part and the last one! Horray! So, I will try and update tomorrow and all that jazz. And am I the only so sad spring break is over in only TWO days! 'Tears' And if you know who the kinda narrator is in this part, try listening to him breathing while reading this. It gave me the creeps while listening to this while writing. Also I made a oppise in the last part, they are in bay 5 not bay 7, 'facepalm'. Enjoy!

Rattle.

"Sir, the rebels are escaping with the prisoner!" A male voice erupts, news bursting from within.

Rattle.

"Where are they now?" Governor Tarkin's voice asks, his question sounding more of a command for answers.

Rattle.

"Bay five," was the short, shouted response from another officer, he presumes.

Rattle.

"Send the Inquisitor there immediately, to get rid of the Jedi," He says, eyes still close as he reaches out through the force.

Rattle.

"Inquisitor, come in," Another voice commands, "Repeat, Inquisitor come in."

Static and rattling echo through the room.

"Sir, the Inquisitor is not responding," The same voice says, stating what he already knew.

"I know. Send all forces to bay five," Tarkin snaps, annoyance slipping into his first two words.

Rattle.

"Darth Vader, go met them there," Tarkin continues.

Rattle.

And then the sound of leather hitting metal as the Sith lord left the room, his hidden eyes finally opening.

It was time to kill yet another Jedi.
