Randy got back to his dorm after his cousin pitch a fit about him needing his sleep. The lizard was only happy that it was after playing five rounds of ping-pong with Javier. The bug like monster was funny, and knows a lot of trick to play with four arms; Randy didn't think he ever had that much fun playing ping-pong. The purple monster was surprised to see that Mike was still up, and by the looks of things fuming. "Hey Mike, everything ok?" The green monster didn't answer only glared at his textbook, the lizard didn't know his roommate all that well yet, so he just took that he didn't approve of going out partying in the first week of classes. Randy just shrugged and crawled up in bed, sighing and falling into a peaceful rest.

The next day was weird. Mike had been in a mood and in class Randy finally found out why. They had to show the teacher freighting faces, and Mike was next to Sullivan. The smug look on the bigger monster and the glare on Mikes' gave the lizard an idea that the two had a rivalry going on. That's so sad; it's the first week of classes and already have rival. Mike has bad luck. The purple monster went through the rest of his classes with ease. He had Mike in a few of them, so the two set up a study plan.

"We need to study every day. Go over everything and memorizes then redo it. That is the only way to pass the classes." Randy blinked over the rim of his glasses at his roommate. "Mike I understand the importance of studying, but don't you think that this plan is a little over board. I mean we are at college, we should have a little fun." Mike stared at lizard like he lost his mind. "I believe that this is the perfect plan, if you don't want to follow it that is your business." The green ball got up and walked away.

Randy shock his head, if Mike wanted to study the whole time he was at college let. The lizard would be there to study with him, and help when he could, but this was college and he was not letting it just go by with just studying.

The purple monster went to the library to work on his homework. After about three hours a paw ran over his head. Randy looked up into golden eyes. "So little cuz, have you eaten yet?" The smaller monster frowned, and that was all the answer the cat needed. "Aright little man, come. You are eating with us tonight."

Randy laughed, walking to the house listen to his cousin talk about his day. "Hey Ches, why do some people want to study every moment of the day?" Cheshire's lips stuck out as he thought. "Because sometimes the people who study believe that that way is the best. They don't think outside the box. The only believe in what the books say not what they see. Those people don't think with their guts, and think that the only way to get what they want is though the books only. At least that what I think."

Randy looks down, and sighed. "My roommate has a plan to study every day after class and go over the work at least a hundred times. When I told him that I wanted to have a little fun, he looked at me funny. I want to help him and get good grades, but the plan seems a little too much. What should I do?"

Cheshire put his arm around the lizard. "You do what you feel is right. If you want to study with him do that. If you want to go out and have funs do that. Don't let other people tell you what you want and what you should do. That the only advice I can give you."

The cousin smiled at each and walked up the stairs to the house.
