Dinner with the GRR was quite an experience if you weren't used to them. While Lycan was a big walking wolf he was just a big puppy, always looking for a good head rub. While the terror twins Dante and Vergil just kept going on and on about how many pranks they were going to set up this year. Telling Randy all about how they put pink and red paint above the door of the Scaring 101 room, but made so that when it spilled it spilled out and cover all the students that were near the door. They also said how the set it up for each class so nobody would know who the one who was responsible. Maul laughed at the story even though he had heard a thousand times- never mind he was the one who set up the camera. Vlad just smiled as he shoved food into his never ending hole of a stomach. Cheshire set back and watches his brothers' talk and laugh with his cousin.
He had been keeping an eye on him during this first week of school, and Ches was happy that Randy was coming out of his shell. Being only seventeen made him one of the youngest monsters here at MU-hell at any college. The cat know that the only reason his aunt let him come to MU was because Ches was here. He could keep taps on him, and if there were any signs of anxiety or panic he was to report and get Randy out of there. He was hoping that didn't happen, and so far everything was going good.
The talk turned to the fraternities on campus and witch one Randy wanted to join. "I don't know. JOX seems a little too sporty for me, while OH just gives me the creeps." Cheshire laughed, "Yeah those guys can come off as creeps. How do you feel about ROR?" Green eyes hidden behind purple glasses closed. "The two that I meet seem nice, it just that Sullivan hangs out with them and he gets on my nerves."
"Don't tell me you don't like him-""-because your roommate doesn't like him?" Randy shakes his head. "No, not at all. He is just an arrogant monster, he shows up at class without anything, and acts like he is a big shot. Prof. Knight likes just because of this family."
The others nodded. "Yeah, you are going to run into a lot of that here. You just got to ignore it." Cheshire glance at the clock and stood up. "Come on Randy, time to get to the dorms."
Randy looked over his notes as Mike kept repeating everything to himself. This was one of their "study times" – in reality it was just Mike going over everything they learned in scaring class. He has Randy ask the question and answer, but he didn't ask the lizard any. Randy knows that they had some difference, but he didn't realize how bad it was. The only thing they really had in common was studying and being scaring majors.
The purple monster had tried to talk to Mike about different things; what he liked, favorite movie but Mike never answered or just gave him a look. The sad thing was when he asked what the green ball did in his childhood and Mike's answer was amazing. "Oh, I studied. I know what I wanted to do since Elemtlety School. So I bulked down and worked my butt off to get here. Read everything, and plan it out to the smallest detail. So far my life plan is going right on track. So now back to the books, what is the process if you get touched or touch something form a child's bedroom?"
Randy knows what he wanted to do, but he didn't devote his whole life to it. In fact, Randy was a realest; there was a chance that he was going to fail that exam so he took general Ed classes that also correspond to a teaching major. He didn't just have one plan, he had mulit. He was what Cheshire called a "back-up planer". He went over his notes, writing down the answer for the homework- which was get out of the room as fast as you can and aralt the higher-up to call CPA and get a decondamtion shower. The lizard breezed though the homework- all twenty of it from all different classes- and was very thankful for his photographic memory. Ches had said that it would come in handy at college, and he was right.
Laughter brought him out of the zone, and as he looked up he saw Mike glaring across the quid, over the edge of his glasses he saw the RORs and Sullivan with them. He scowled, while Johnny and Javier were nice and the other four were polite when they saw him, he could do without Sullivan. Mike might think that it was because of friendship, but it was like he told his cousin's fraternity he didn't like the monster because of how he acted. Like he was owed the whole world with outing having to earn it, he was like the bullies at his old high school.
"Mike just leave it alone, they're not borthing us." "Maybe not to our face, but I know that they are making fun of me. I can just feel it." "You can feel it?-""Man would I kill to have that power!"
A loud shriek cut through the quid, calling the attention of the RORs and every other monster in it. All heads shot to a tree were a purple lizard was holding his hand to his mouth, while a small green ball tried to calm his heart back down. Two tall humanoid dragon monsters stood above them, the same from toe to head.
"What is wrong with you!? You can't just sneak up on monsters, it not right." "Sorry little dude-""-It's our thing."
"What are two GRR doing talking to that loser?" Dante, the red color dragon crouched down in front of Randy "Sooo Randy, you up for a little party tonight?" the blue dragon just smiled, "Yeah going to be very off the hook. Maybe we could get you laid." The two dragons laughed at the blush that formed on the freshmen's cheeks.
Mike and as well as half the quid just stared at the group. Sullivan narrowing his eyes watched wondering if the two GRRs' were being mean or nice with the teasing. All of a sudden the twins' head went forward and their hands came up as if they were trying to push something off of them. A tall purplish cat appeared behind the two, "if you think trying to get my baby cousin laid is more important than your homework you two are more stupid than I thought." He pulled both of the dragons up and pushed them away from the freshmen. "Now march your asses to the library, Maul's witing on you two."
Dante and Virgil grumbled, and waved to Randy as they walked off. Ches sighed and looked down at the lizard and his friend. "Sorry about those two, but the offer is there, if you two want you can come over to the party. Later Randy." Mike watched as the cat in the green jacket leaned over and gave his roommate a kiss on the head. Green eyes meet green, "so that was my cusion. Oh look at the time, need to get to class see you Mike."
Everyone in the quid watched as the purple lizard got out of there as fast as his body and four legs could get him. Leaving everyone wondering just how he knew three GRRs.
Johnny stared after the lizard; trying to figure out how he and Ches could be related and turned and meet Javier's eyes, with a knowing look. He scowled at his friend; he was not getting a liking for a monster that he only meet twice.
