Chapter 6

The guild doors slammed open and Laxus stood there looked around and his eye's landed on Lucy. Laxus did a double check to make sure he wasn't seeing thing's. "What the hell are you wearing Blondie?" Lucy scowled at him and looked him in the eye pouting inwardly for having to look almost strait up with him being so tall. "For your info Sparky, this dress was made by my mother before she died for me to wear today. At the time this dress was befitting my status as the heiress of the Heartfillia fortune. At the time I was richer than the Royal family. If you want to make something of it then take it up with my dead Parent's!" The entire guild was quite not only had she talked back at him but she had called him Sparky!

Laxus stood there looking shocked. "Fine! But don't talk to me like that again Blondie." With that He went to speak with his grandfather. The thunder god tribe just walked in and shrugged at the guild being so quiet. "Ooh. I might seem ridiculous but it is a tradition that I will follow because I want to honour my parents." With that said Lucy turned to Mira. "Mira Chan could you take Laxus to get his clothes before 3 o'clock please. I need to be going to check in with the caters." Mira smiled and nodded her head. "Sure I can." Lucy gave her a hug and walked out the door.

When she arrived at the catering shop Lucy frowned as she heard the shouting from inside. It got twice as loud when she walked in but nobody was in the front part of the shop. Lucy went up to the counter and rang the bell. It went quiet and the owner came out. "Miss Lucy you are here to see the party food, yes? Come this way please." With that he lead Lucy through to the back. "Now as you can see Monsieur Viane has been making this his top priority. Devours of various shapes sizes and fillings, the same with the sandwich's. Prawn cocktails, salads, mini sausages, chicken pieces. The hot food will all be done at the last moment. Three different kinds of soup, Tomato, Chicken and Leek. Duck a l'orange, Venison with trimming and Cuss cuss will be available for those that wish for a proper meal. For puddings we have Trifle with or without Ice cream, three types of Cheese cake Strawberry, blueberry and chocolate, and finally the Souffle will be done tomorrow. All of which will be placed in a buffet style on the tables for people to serve themselves. So what do you think?" Lucy hugged him around the middle. "It sounds perfect!"

With the food being on track Lucy went to buy a few things from the market. That night when she got home Lucy wrapped up 5 small objects smiling to herself. After getting changed into her PJ's she sat at her desk and wrote another letter to her mother telling her all about her day. As she pulled the covers of her bed back Lucy found Happy sleeping curled up on her pillow, smiling she lay down and pulled him towards her hugging him as she fell asleep herself. The next morning Lucy woke up bright and early putting on her simple white dress she smiled as she cooked breakfast. Pancakes with blueberries for her and lightly fried fish for Happy. Placing the plates on the table Lucy went to wake Happy up and smile as he mumbled in his sleep. "Happy wake up we need to eat and go to the guild. I did fish!" At the mention of fish the little exceed jumped up wide awake. "FISH!" Lucy laughed out loud at his out burst and walked into the living room to sit at the dinning table.

When they had finished their breakfast Lucy washed up and they walked to the guild. Happy noticed that she didn't wear any shoes but kept quiet thinking that this may be something to do with her birthday. Unknown to him he was right and Lucy's spirits had spent the night cleaning the streets so nothing would hurt her feet as she made her way to Fairy Tail. Lucy pushed the guild doors open and walked into a quiet bar. She looked around puzzled as no one but Master, Laxus, Mira, Levy and Gray were there. Levy saw her friend and walked over to her giving Lucy a hug. "We remembered that you said that celestial mages stay at the place they call home on their 18th birthday. So we asked everyone if they would stay away until just after 3 this afternoon because you call the guild your home and you were born seconds before 1 in the afternoon." Lucy smiled as she began to tear up with emotion. She was very touch by what Master had just told her. "Thank you guy's. Happy could you go back home and wait until just after 3 to come back please?" "OK Lucy but I want fish!" Lucy smiled as she replied. "There 2 fish in the fridge if you want them." Happy cheered and flew off to Lucy's apartment. It was half past 10 so they had half an hour to wait. Lucy called out Virgo and asked her to get the five gifts from her desk. Moments later Virgo was back with the five gifts and a basket full of little goodies to eat.

Just before the clock struck 11 Lucy began to glow. It was not noticeable unless you were looking for it but it looked like Lucy's skin was covered in glitter. Lucy smiled at the five mages before her. "It's begun. IT is traditional for me to give you a gift now. After accepting them you can ask any question and I must tell you the truth when I answer, however I can refuse to answer if I don't want to. So here you go." Opening the gifts they all gasped at what they had received and Lucy explained for them to know what each got. "Levy you got 2 books one is a book on how to improve you runes so that you can do some of the thing that freed is able to do and the other book is my completed novel. I'm told that it will be on the shelf's of every book store in Foire in 4 weeks time this is the very fist book printed and the only one that I have signed." Levy launched herself at her friend whilst crying her thanks over and over again. "Gray the Ice you have their is very special to you. I'm sure that you remember when those wizards where melting the ice that encased Deloria. Well when you told us how he came to be in that ice was able to save some of the water and took it to another Ice mage that I know. No it was not Lyon, this ice mage was able to turn the water into a block of never melt ice. I then began to carve the symbol of Fairy Tail from the ice with a hole in then I got a silver chain and made it into a necklace for you. Basically you will always have your mentor with you now and as I got permission from master to make it official she is also a proud member of Fairy Tail."

Gray had tear's streaming down his face as he hug his little sister to him while holding what was now his most treasured possession close to his heart. "Mira I called in a favour to get you this. Inside that globe is the soul of an Angel. The soul was a lost one wandering around trying to find it's purpose an acquaintance of mine caught it and I bought it for half the price under the condition that the favour he owed me was called done. I then asked the soul if it would like to be apart of you. I explained your magic to it and she said that she would judge you and if she judged you worthy then she would merge with you. Honestly I though that we have demon Mira why not angel Mira? Just break the globe to set it free to judge you." Mira looked at the globe and squealed. She broke the orb and a ghostly angel appeared before them looking at Mira. The angel reached forward placing her hand on Mira's heart after a minuet or two the angel turned towards Lucy and smiled. She then rushed forward and into the take - over mage. Mira screamed for a moment and then went silent as a circle of runes surrounded her. Mira then started to change as she grew pure white angel wings and her clothes turn into white leather tank top and hot pants with a staff of pure gold. As she landed Mira went back to her normal self wearing the simple dress that Lucy had bought for her.

Mira grabbed Lucy in a hug and proceeded to squeeze the breath out of her. When she let go Lucy chuckled and turned to the Master. "It took a while to find something for you so in the end I decided that this would be perfect for you. It's a ten year subscription for any magazine you want including those porn ones I saw in your office one time." The Master looked like he was in haven until he felt Mira's killing intent directed at him. Lucy giggled as the master cowered against the wall and then she turned to the only Dragon Slayer there. The egg is an exceeds egg that was abandoned. From what I can tell It's parents are dead and it needs someone to love and care for it. You are the only Dragon Slayer who dose not have an exceed besides Cobra. I thought that maybe if you had one you can feel more happy with who you are. Also next to the egg is a Lightning crystal, If you ever get in a fix and need to eat some lightning quick bit eat half of it and you should be fully restored magic wise." Laxus blinked at the small petite girl as though he was stunned. Picking up the egg he looked at it then smiled a small smile while stroking the smooth surface. Lucy picked up the crystal which was on a string and tied it around his wrist.

"So you got to answer all our questions truthfully now have you Blondie?" Lucy sighed and nodded at Laxus. "Good maybe I can get some answers I've been looking for." Gray looked at the two of them and smiled. "Hey Lucy why do born celestial mages have more rules that other celestial mages?" Lucy sat down and new she was going to be answering a lot of questions. "Those born have more rules that others because if we didn't we could end up dead quite easily. Due to our magic judging us not worthy. After our 18th birthday we only have five extra rules though so we don't have to worries as much as we did before. Almost all of the rule's are the law for all people in Foire anyway It's just we have wost consequences that ordinary people weather or not they are a mage." Gray's eyes were bugged out "Your kidding me right?" Lucy shook her head and Gray felt at least a little relieved. "I got a couple of question's Blondie. Why me and how do you know me so well when I'm sure we don't talk that much?" Lucy blushed and shied away slightly but answered anyway.

I would like to apologise to my readers for taking so long to update but life waits for no one, and I was quite busy.
