I apologise for the gap in-between these chapters. I could give you all my excuses but it is just the usual busy busy life excuse. I will try not leave it too long in-between this and the next chapter. I would like to give credit to glastail24 and say thank you for your ideas for this drama in my story. Your ideas are fantastic and I can't wait for you all to see how things will unravel through the rest of this story. I have come up with a few things to knit it all together. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Emma had spent most of the night sitting with Regina. It had taken Regina a few hours to get herself back to sleep after her dream and it took a promise from Emma that she would stay beside her the whole time. So she sat, her back leaning against the head board and her fingers running through Regina's hair and she thought about what had happened and what Regina had dreamed.

It seemed Regina's dream and was more like a memory. A long ago memory that Emma had thought Regina would never remember. Emma, like the rest of them, thought that Regina would have no memory of her life before being turned back into a toddler but now it seemed she was remembering things. She had called out for Daniel and although Emma wasn't sure of the whole story with Daniel she knew the basics of the story and she knew what Cora had done.

Emma sighed and she looked down at Regina. As if Regina hadn't been having a hard enough time without this coming back to her. She knew she was going to have to talk with their parents and perhaps they might have to go to Gold and see what the hell was going on. He had said Regina wouldn't remember. It seemed life was about to get just that little bit harder from now on.

She jumped as the alarm clock on the bedside table started going off and she quickly shuffled over in the bed and slammed her hand down on the off button. Emma then looked over to Regina who was beginning to wake up. Regina stretched a little and rubbed her eyes as she sat up in the bed. Regina then looked over to Emma.

"You okay?" Emma asked giving Regina a small smile. Regina just shrugged her shoulders and sighed. "Have any more dreams?"

Regina nodded her head and ran her fingers through her hair. "They aren't just dreams are they?" Regina asked. "I saw the way you and Henry were looking at me last night. Please Emma tell me the truth. I am so confused."

"Regina I honestly don't know what is going on..." Emma started. "But we are going to find out okay."

"I…I think I need to speak to mom and dad…I had a dream about them last night…a confusing dream." Regina said.

"What was the dream?" Emma asked.

"I was the Evil Queen and I was trying to kill Snow White…Mom…Snow White and Prince Charming were getting married and I crashed their wedding and I told them that 'I would destroy their happiness if it is the last thing I do' I was so angry and hurt and it was all overwhelming. All the feelings I just…I don't understand it Emma. Was that really me?" Regina said.

"It's difficult to explain Regina and I think mom and dad should be their when it is explained to you." Emma said. "So I am going to go and phone them now and we are going to go over to the house and talk with them. Okay?"

Regina nodded her head. "Okay."

It was a little later on and Emma and Regina were now sat in the mansion with Henry, Mary-Margaret and David. Josh was out at school. As soon as Regina had entered the mansion Twister had run up to her and whirled around her asking for the attention she always craved from Regina and Regina was more than happy to give it to her. Now Twister was lying by Regina's feet.

"So we came to talk to you about some things that have been happening to Regina…" Emma started breaking the all too awkward silence. "Since she has been staying with me a few things have happened."

"What kind of things?" Mary-Margaret asked. "Are you okay Regina?"

"I-I'm okay…" Regina said quietly, playing with her fingers and staring down at her lap. She couldn't look at her mother and father. Not after the dream she had the night before.

Mary-Margaret and David frowned and looked to Emma to tell them what was happening. They just wanted to make sure Regina was okay. Emma sighed. "Regina I think you should be the one to tell mom and dad what is going on."

"I-I-I can't." Regina whispered trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall. After everything she really didn't want her mother and father to hate her, although after all of the dreams she had had she couldn't imagine why they would love her like they have. She was so confused about everything in her life right at that moment."

"Regina it's okay. Whatever it is it won't change anything or how we feel about you." David said softly.

Regina glanced up at her mother and father. "You can't say that. You have no idea what is happening."

"We can say that Regina because we love you so much." Mary-Margaret said.

Regina sighed and ran her fingers through her hair and Emma nudged her. "Okay…" She took a deep breath, closed her eyes for a moment and then opened them to look at her mother and father. "I…I have been having these dreams…"

"Dreams?" David asked.

Regina nodded her head. "Dreams that seem…I don't know…very real…Like memories…I-I had a dream about a man c-called Daniel who was killed by…a woman that I called m-mother but it wasn't you…" Regina tried to explained. "And I-I-I had a dream where I crashed your wedding and…well I told you…I told you both that I would destroy your happiness if it was the last thing I did…"

Mary-Margaret gasped and her hand went up to her mouth. "You dreamt this?" She asked and Regina nodded her head. Mary-Margaret then looked to Emma. "But how? Gold told us she wouldn't remember."

"I know. I think we need to pay him a little visit. I have a horrible feeling that he knew all along that she would remember." Emma replied.

"So…it's true? What I have dreamt is all true?" Regina asked. "I really did say that to you and dad?"

"Oh Regina..." Mary-Margaret said moving to the edge of her chair.

"I don't understand. Why would I say that to you both?" Regina asked.

"Your dream didn't involve why you felt this way towards us?" David asked.

Regina shook her head. "It's confusing. I only get bits and pieces of things in the dreams…well apart from the dream I had of that man Daniel being killed. I seen everything then."

"Oh Regina…" Mary-Margaret repeated and she moved off of the sofa and knelt down in front of Regina and took her hands into hers. "I am so sorry this is happening to you."

"I-I just want things to go back to how they were…before I got this magic and everything." Regina said beginning to let her tears out. She began to sob and Mary-Margaret reached forward and pulled Regina into her for a hug and Regina just sobbed into her shoulder. Regina moved her arms up and around Mary-Margaret and held onto her tightly. Twister lifted up and whined a little moving her head onto Regina's lap and rubbing her head lovingly against Regina.

David stood up from the sofa and he walked over to where Regina was sitting. He sat on the arm of the sofa and wrapped his arm around her and kissed the top of her head while she cried into Mary-Margaret's shoulder. "We will sort this Regina. Don't worry okay."

After a while Regina stopped crying and she excused herself to go and clean her face a little. Once she had cleaned up they all made their way to Gold's shop, Regina a little more nervous than the others to go due to her secret magic lessons she had been having. She followed everyone in, and kept to the back hiding behind her father.

"Gold we need to talk." Emma said firmly as she marched over to the counter.

"My my no hellos first?" Gold smirked as he leaned against the counter.

"Don't mess me about Gold. We want answers and we want them now." Emma said. "We have a situation with Regina."

Gold frowned a little and looked towards where Regina was stood, peeking around David. "What situation is this dearie?"

"Regina has been having these dreams…only they aren't dreams they are memories. Memories of her past…the old Regina's past." Emma explained.

"Memories that you told us she would not have." David added in.

"I never told you she would never receive her memories…" Gold shrugged his shoulders. He then turned to looked towards Regina again. "And when would you say these dreams started dearie? Do you have an idea what may have started them?"

Everyone turned to look at Regina and she bit her lip a little as she thought about the answer. She guessed it started after that time in the woods, her magic lessons when her magic was backfired by Cruella and she hit the tree but she couldn't say that. Gold had told her not to tell Emma or her parents about their magic lessons. He had made her promise. "I…well…I guess…it started…It started after I hit my head …" Regina said trying to work out how to explain herself. She really didn't want to break her promise to Gold. She knew it wouldn't be good if she did.

"You hit your head? When Regina?" Mary-Margaret asked worriedly as she placed a hand on Regina's cheek and inspected her head.

"I don't know…a couple of days ago…I hit the back of my head. I…I was in the woods…practicing my magic…on my own and well I don't know what I did but it backfired whatever it was and I got thrown back and I hit my head on a tree. I guess after that I started having those dreams." Regina said hoping they would believe her story.

"Are you okay? Do you have a bump? Let me see." Mary-Margaret said moving around Regina and feeling the back of her head.

"I'm fine mom." Regina groaned a little and rolled her eyes.

"Well that explains that then. A combination of her magic and the bump to the head is making her remember things from the past." Gold said pointing out the obvious.

"Right…so is there any way we can stop it?" Emma asked.

"No I wouldn't say so." Gold replied.

"But you managed to contain her memories before…" David said with a confused frowned on his face.

"Yes well now is different…" Gold said with a shrug. "I am afraid I cannot help you."

"So I just have to keep remembering all these things? All this horrible stuff from this past I had?" Regina asked.

"I am afraid so dearie."

Regina sighed and her shoulders drooped. Emma looked at Regina and then shook her head. "We will find a way to fix this Regina. Don't worry." Emma said before turning on her heel and walking out of Gold's shop with Mary-Margaret and David following her. Regina went to follow but stopped for a minute and glanced back to Gold who gave her a smirk and a quick wink. Regina frowned and turned back round to follow her parents and Emma out of the shop.

After Gold's shop they all went to the blue fairy. But that turned out not to be of much help either although instead of dismissing them completely like Gold had the blue fairy had said she would look into it and let them know if she found anything. They all then headed back towards the loft, Mary-Margaret and David wishing for Regina to come back with them but then at the same time not wanting to push their fragile daughter.

As they entered the loft Regina looked around her and then glanced over to her parents. She guessed she really had missed them, even when she had been angry at them. Maybe it was time to leave the loft and go back home. She only hoped her mother and father would want her back home. "Erm…mom, dad…would you mind if I maybe came home with you guys?" Regina asked quietly.

"Oh of course we don't mind Regina…" Mary-Margaret started.

"We would be more than happy for you to come home with us." David finished both adults not being able to wipe the smiles from their faces.

"Okay. I'll go and pack up my things." Regina said giving them a small smile before turning on her heel and heading upstairs.

"She's coming home with us." Mary-Margaret said happily. "I was so scared that she would never want to come back home."

"She missed you guys you know. She might have been angry at you both about what happened but she missed yous." Emma said.

"And we missed her…so much." David said.

"Was it me or did Grandpa seem weird?" Henry asked causing all the adults to look at him with a confused frown.

"What you on about kid?" Emma asked.

Henry shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno…it was just the way he looked at Regina…maybe I was imagining something. I just think he was acting weird."

"Gold is always acting weird and up to something." Emma replied. "But mark my words if he is up to something we will find out. Especially if Regina is involved in some way."

"You don't think she would get involved with him do you?" Mary-Margaret asked.

"Not intentionally no…by his persuasion and tricks yes." Emma sighed. "He knows how to get into her head, whether she has had a second chance at her life or not he knows what to do and what buttons to push. I think maybe we should keep an even closer eye on Regina, especially now she has been having these dreams."

David nodded his head. "Yes I think you are right."

"Right about what?" Regina asked as she came back down the stairs, her bags in hand.

"Nothing…just something about the station." David shrugged off as he walked over to Regina and wrapped an arm around her shoulders and kissed into her hair. "I am glad you are coming home with us princess."

"Dad…" Regina groaned a little at the nickname but couldn't really deny that she didn't still love when her father called her princess.

"Here let me take your bags." He said removing his arm from around her shoulders and taking the bags from her hands.

"Why don't I make you your favourite dinner tonight? We can have a lovely family dinner. I know Josh will be happy to see you home." Mary-Margaret said.

"Sure." Regina replied with a smile. She wondered if she should tell them that she had heard everything they said about Gold and herself. She wondered if she should tell them that Gold was giving her magic lessons. But then she knew she couldn't break her promise to Gold. She knew the consequences would be dire. He had expressed so during one of her magic lessons when she was about to give up and call it a day and huffed out that she would tell her parents about the whole thing.

But she couldn't help but wonder if perhaps Gold was planning other things behind her back. Why would he want to teach her magic? Why would he involve these powerful witches into her training? He had told her it was for her own good, she needed this training and they would help her but she wasn't so sure.

As she looked at her family she knew she couldn't tell them. Not yet. Nothing really bad had happened to her yet. She would tell them when the time was right.
