By the end of the entire shopping trip, Mei and I had bought a queen size bed that had a frame that was almost box like, but was very unique. As for the sheets and comforter, we had bought a black and blue bedspread. For the kitchen we bought a standard table, standard chairs, some cooking equipment and utensils. As for the other rooms, we just bought the absolute necessities. There was actually a guy at the store who would ship the furniture to our apartment for us by following us in his company truck.

This was going to be a new life, one that would take some getting used to, but Mei and I were definitely looking forward to this new adventure, the one that starts with us.

Yamato's POV

Today was the first day that we were officially living together now. Though, it was just the beginning of the day and thoughts had been rushing through my mind about how to rest of today was going to go, especially the rest of our lives. Shaking my head, I decided to let life decide on this for us, though I knew that I would do whatever I could to make this relationship work. As we were walk towards our new place, where our furniture and home decoration moving truck was waiting for us to get there, I couldn't help but look at Mei and I's intertwined hands and smile. Though our hands being joined was cut short when we got to the new place and Mei let go to run towards the truck and I followed behind her.

"Hello! Sorry for keeping you waiting." Mei said and the delivery man laughed.

"No problem." The mover man had offered to help us move stuff in, but my friend Anyways, I'm going to leave the trailer here for you. Please call me when I can come get it back?" I nodded.

"Of course. Have a nice day." I said

"You too." He responded after pulling his truck away. With a last leaving honk, he pulled away and I smiled. Mei and I were finally alone to do this and we were going to have a great time and I really knew it. I turned and looked towards her, handing her the keys.

"Here, could you unlock the door and prop the door open. We could bring the big stuff in there first and then I could bring in the smaller things..." Mei smiled and shook her head.

"I will help you." She got up on her tip toes and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek. "Let's get this stuff inside so that we can get it moved around and we can get this done." I loved her readiness and I nodded. The unpacking of the trailer took a while. At first we had moved in the couch, our bed, the guest bed, our two dressers, table, entertainment center, Coffee Table, Nightstands, Bookshelf, and the Chairs. Later we started bringing in the other things that my mother had let us take with us from my old house that were in a garage like unpacked lamps and extra power tools. Everything else we had to buy for ourselves, but that wasn't bad.

Once everything was inside along with the furniture, the decor, and the other things, we looked around and took a deep breath before going to help each other and moved the big furniture to their respective rooms. All I could say was that talk god that our furniture hadn't been too heavy. Once everything was moved into their rooms, Mei insisted on giving me a break and that she wanted to decorate the rooms. I tried to argue, but she wouldn't heard it. "I want to surprise you when you come home." I smiled.

"Oh alright... I'll go get us some delicious takeout. Anything you want in particular?" She smiled.

"Sure... I would like fried rice and general tso's chicken." I smiled.

"Awesome choice. I'll get that too. I'll pick up some ice cream on the way too." Mei blushed a little.

"Okay." She smiled and walked out with her pepper spray, which I now made her carry around. I know, it was a little over protective, but after what had happened to her, I didn't want to take anymore chances. It didn't take long for Mei to return seeing as the take-out restaurant was only a block away. When we came back home, the amazing smell of chinese food filled the room and we hungrily sat down at our kitchen table, digging into it. It made me happy to see Mei eating again. Or at least, eating more that she had been. As the months went on, she slowly came back to herself, the Mei I loved and remembered. I still loved her and cared for her after the incident, but she was not herself at all and it was horrible for me to see her depressed for long periods of time.

After dinner, we both went into the bathroom and brushed out teeth before going into our bedroom and stripping down. It was cute to see Mei blush as I dressed down into my dark gray boxers. I smiled when I noticed that she was wearing one of my shirts and underwear to bed. She liked sleeping that way, saying that it was more comfortable that way for her and I loved seeing it. I could see that she was nervous about sleeping in OUR own bed for the first time. Of course it was new to be finally living together, but I couldn't have asked for a better living situation. I patted the bed for her to climb into bed. She usually prefered the spot against the wall, so after she crawled under the covers, I followed behind her.

The two of us face to face in the bed, I smiled and caressed her face. "How are you feeling Mei?" She smiled and leaned into my palm.

"I'm feeling a lot better. I'm sorry, about my sadness." I shook my head and leaned forwards and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"No, with the circumstances, I couldn't ever blame you for having been depressed. You needed to heal and that's the best way you had to do it. I'm just glad I have you with me." She smiled and leaned closer to me, placing a kiss on my cheek before I moved to touch my lips to hers. She sighed happily as our lips moved fluidly together. Her lips were so soft and warm that in an attempt to keep her close to me, I wrapped my arms around her and pressed myself closer to her. I could feel the heat within me rising and without being able to control myself, my body moved so I was hovering over her with our blanket covering me from the waist down. When I realized what I had just done, I pulled back some. "I'm sorr-" She cut me off, pulling me back to her, bucking her shoulders against my hands, signaling for me to lower myself further down to her.

I moved down onto my elbows, my legs on each side of her to support my weight without putting my entire person on her body. I was becoming very excited because we hadn't been able to kiss like this for a long time, so I was going to kiss her as long as she would allow me. I pulled back from kissing her long enough for us to catch a breath. As we breathed I looked into her eyes with pure love and happiness, using a hand to brush some of her hair out of her eyes, smiling when I saw her beautiful chocolate eyes, sparkling with excitement. I leaned forward, placing my forehead against hers. "I've missed this." I said, smiling and moved back down to her lips, giving her a couple more small kisses before laying back down next to her. "I'm so happy." I said, hugging her to me.

"I am too." She said, resting her face into my chest. "I'm so happy to be living with you. I love you." She said, yawning and falling into a light snore. I smiled and kissed the top of her head. I love you too."

I am so sorry for the long wait. There has been a lot going on and I haven't had time to get to this story. But I'm going to try harder to complete all of these stories when I can. The next chapter should be done soon.
