Which Gajeel half-smiled and looked at the memory with determination and courage.
Levy POV:
"Lu, I'm not going to tell you the reason already, so enough please," I exasperated with my hands in the air. Lucy pouts but knew this was going nowhere. She walked into the room to continue writing her novel she promised to finish for me. I sigh and looked for my books for comfort, since Lucy didn't want to push me to the edge already. Stupid Gajeel, why couldn't he just openly admit that he likes me, but then again I might be wrong and probably humiliated myself already. But when he looked at me with that raw expression of sadness I knew that he may even love me. Why can't I just openly say that I love him, but then again I want to be told how much I probably mean to him. Lucy and Natsu became a couple and I was there that day when Gajeel actually gave Natsu advice. I didn't mean to well it's not stalking in my defense but followed him since he looked like he was in a daze. It worried but what shocked me the most was how he gave advice to a fellow dragon-slayer even if it was Natsu. I ignore my wondering thoughts and focused reading my novel about a tough guy who doesn't admit he is in love with the bookworm. I threw the book in my bag and just closed my eyes. My heart ever so beating fast at the thought of what he could possibly be doing now. Would he even visit the guild after what I said to him or just ignore this stupid, idiotic one-side love?!
"Levy, I know not to say anything about this, but you are worrying me," worried Lucy as she eyed her concerned. Again I felt a sense of regret of not discussing this with my best friend even if it is between Gajeel and me.
"I'm sorry Lu. Just hoping someone realizes how dull they could be wait no better yet dense," I half- complained and notice Lucy smiling. Blushing a little, I heard the door knock and went to answer the door. I opened it to see an old friend of mine, beaming at me happily. Next I know I'm shrieking in happiness and hugging him fiercely. Lucy stood by her bed gaping at the scene we were making.
"I can't believe it's you, Jade," I smiled as he messed up my hair which I pout at him.
"Um… Levy, who's this?" asked Lucy surprised that someone cause such a reaction from me.
"The name's Jade Sandeep. I'm Levy's old bookworm buddy from when we were young," Jade explained as Lucy raised an eyebrow at my direction. I just nodded still not believing that Jade was alive and not to mention hot. Bad Levy don't you like Gajeel he seems to bring something within you that no one has ever seen chided Sweet Levy.
"So Levy, I was wondering what brings you here?" questioned Jade.
"Shouldn't I be asking you since you supposedly found our room and knew I was here?" I eyed him suspiciously only to see red cheeks flame up his face. Lucy smirked a little which made me confused.
"Levy, looks like someone has a stalker," teased Lucy as she ran out the door escaping my wrath, slamming the door as well.
"Uh…that was awkward," I stated with heated cheeks as Jade nodded in agreement.
"So Levy didn't know you joined Fairy Tail, but then again they did raise you. I did sort of follow you here since I heard about a petite blue-haired mage coming to town. I caught a glimpse of you and asked the hotel for your room number," flushed Jade as he rubbed his neck in embarrassment. I smiled at how his brown hair had gold tinted within, his green eyes a grass green color, his baby face becoming more mature, his height towering over me, and his body showing muscles that probably could compete against Gajeel. I wonder if he misses me or if he's alright from a stupid adventurous mission with Lily. Jade caught my depression state and narrowed in frustration that his old friend didn't mind him. He felt his friend contact him through telepathy.
What is it Ron? Thought Jade.
I caught the Blondie and might I say she is pretty damn smoking. So how's the reunion with shorty. Let's hope your so call sparks are flying thought Ron mischievously.
I wish, but it seems we should take them somewhere REAL comfortable. Levy will be mine and if not I'll just blow up this poor village or may be destroy it with my Sky dragon-slayer magic smirked Jade.
Or I can cause a flood with my water dragon-slayer magic whatever floats your boat. Now hurry your ass with her unconscious or tied up complained Ron.
Yeah, Yeah, but I can't wait to mark her mine. Too bad no one can ever catch us since these two signed up for the job. I'll meet you there smiled Jade as he noticed that I placed my hand on his forehead. Flushing a little more, I remove my hand and broken into a smile of relief. Jade froze and gently stroke my face which it was my turn to freeze. He closed in to kiss me when I pushed his chest away. He looked hurt and I looked at him in sympathy then felt him grabbed my shoulders and held my hands above my head. I realized at some point I was on the bed with my old friend frightening me.
"Jade, please let go. You're hurting me," I pleaded to which he kissed my neck making me jerk around.
"Levy, I'm sorry, but I can't do that. You'll be coming with me now," smiled Jade happily as he started to use a sleeping spray.
"Lucy, will stop you!" I yelled feeling my vision groggy a little.
"Nope, Ron made sure she'll be joining us. So for now sleep my little bookworm and by the way the mission you're on. I believe you found the person you're looking for," smirked Jade as I fell into sleep feeling his lips press into mine. Gajeel, if you are out there please help, please. I love you as my mind turned completely blank.
Lucy POV (Running out):
I didn't expect Levy to know some hot guy like that especially since he is into books. Finally slowing my pace to make sure my best friend wouldn't follow me, I headed to the snack area. Heading there I was pulled aside by some can't believe it hot looking guy with black hair and blue eyes. People apparently were going to trampled me if he hadn't pulled me aside. I felt his hands lingering on my waist to which I moved out of his way.
"Hey um… thank you.." I stumbled a little since I didn't know his name.
"Ron Lakeside," finished Ron as I smiled and nodded. (A/N: Sorry lame-ass nickname but couldn't think of anything. Gomen)
"May I ask your name?" asked Ron nicely.
"Lucy Heartfilla of Fairy Tail," I answered.
"As in the # 1 guild in Fiore. Home to the legendary beautiful celestial mage , Lucy Heartfilla," exclaimed Ron excited as I smiled with a blush.
"Yeah, you must have also heard of my boyfriend. He's Salamander," I smiled at how strong Natsu was. If I paid more attention, I would have noticed the scowl on his face.
"My, My did he already mark you?" questioned Ron.
"Mark me? What do you mean," I spoke confused.
"Well, A dragon-slayer choses their partner for life and will love, cherish, protect, and live only for them. You become his mate by having intercourse and having your scents mixed with a bite mark to claim you as theirs," explained Ron briefly.
"No we haven't done any of that," I blushed innocently which made Ron smiled evilly.
"If that's the case, I'll make you mine," smirked Ron as my eyes widen and i felt water caging me in just like Juvia's water lock.
"Water Dragon-Slaying technique: Water containment," chanted Ron as I began to lose consciousness. Natsu please help me! I need you and love you as I felled to the ground lightly as an arm wrapped around my waist as a hand gently stroked my head mumbling something.
(Back to the guys) General POV:
"Wow dude, when I said I'll help you I didn't expect to sort out you fucking feelings," complained Natsu.
"Shut up, why are you here anyway since I don't recall your help," snapped Gajeel since he sure as hell didn't want Natsu to be in his mind.
"Well, we are best friends right?" asked Natsu uncertain.
"What The Hell Salamander! Why would we! We just fight to see whose stronger not help each other understand one another's feelings for their mates," argued Gajeel.
"Really sounds like you enjoy my company throughout your episodes. You even hugged me," teased Natsu.
"No you hugged me dumbass. I don't need your company at all besides you have your mate to be worried about and I have mine," glared Gajeel as Natsu smiled brightly.
"So Levy is your mate! I knew it all along, you're welcome," smirked Natsu.
"Whatever Flame Head!" grimaced Gajeel as he hate to admit that having Natsu was pretty nice but awkward. They were brought back to Natsu's house with the ball placed in Gajeel's palm. Natsu felt something cold go down his spine as if something might have happened to Lucy. Gajeel had that same sensation and looked at one another and nodded in agreement.
"You felt it," worried Natsu as Gajeel nodded.
"Where's bunny-girl and Levy?" asked Gajeel.
"Last I heard going after a mage, but I can hear the guild from here talking about them not returning yet," grimaced Natsu.
"Let's go before something happens to our girls," stated Gajeel with flushed cheeks as Natsu smiled. Along the way to the guild, Gajeel muttered softly for hopefully the fire dragon-slayer did not hear him.
"Thanks Natsu for everything," muttered ever so softly not noticing Natsu's grin.
