The warm summer sunset colours mixed in a blur with the lights of the cities upcoming nightlife. It was like an abstract water painting, blurry and full of adrenaline. Raven loved it. Loved the rush and warmth. It was like fire and ice in one. However not all of the warmth came from the summer air, most of it was actually coming from the green changeling she was gripping onto. His natural musk and mixture of his chocolate and woodsy aftershave invaded her senses making her dizzy. Strangely it smelt both comforting and safe. His scent could get her lost, she could practically drown in it. Why was she drooling at the thought? Oh azar how she loved it.
He began to slow down and Raven only now realised that she was so lost in thought that she forgot where they were going. Wait, she didn't actually know where they were going.
He took the keys out and got off followed by Raven.
"Where are we going?" she asked confused. He chuckled.
"Dude, I told you that next time we'd go to the club instead of the lounge" he grinned.
"Don't call me dude." Raven said flatly which only made him chuckle again. He grabbed her hand and walked over to the club. "Do you have a fake ID or something because you're still underage?"
He smirked and pulled out a fake ID with his alter-ego identity.
"Cyborg made me this until my birthday in a few months so I could buy games and stuff for over 18's"
"I'm guessing the stuff meaning alcohol." She deadpanned. He grinned.
"Yup." They both showed the bouncer their ID's which all the Titans had for their alter-ego's and entered. The music was already blaring and more than half the club was full. Raven sighed. Today had been an extremely long day so she might as well try to take the edge off. She casually walked past Gar and over to the bar.
"What would you like, sweetie?" the bartender asked.
"An apple vodka. Please." Her eye's bore into his to make sure he fully understood.
"That is with lemonade right?" he questioned.
"More vodka than lemonade" he looked at her like she was crazy, which to most people she probably was. Vodka was very strong for a human but she was half demon with a high immune system and it would take her at least 3 bottle's to get her drunk.
Her eyes still pierced into his, threatening him to carry on. He didn't and instead made her the drink. She asked for a beer as well and plastered on a fake smile, requested a tab then left.
"Where'd you go?" Beastboy asked as she walked up to him.
"Went to get some drinks." She said handing him the beer. He looked at the beer then her with a confused expression.
"How did you know which one I liked?" he asked. Raven shrugged.
"You always get the same one." she said before taking a sip of her own drink. He looked at her again still confused. If it was someone different who knew Raven didn't drink they would think she was drinking lemonade but his enhanced senses told a different story.
"I thought you didn't drink" Beastboy said casually. Raven's eyes narrowed. Of course he knew, he was the most observant person she knew, more so than Starfire. With a roll of her eyes she answered.
"I don't, but it's been a long day." He nodded.
"What are you drinking?" he asked again, observing the beverage. It smelled rather sweet and fruity. A girly drink.
"Try it and tell me what you think." She said plainly. He watched her for any signs of expression but found none and did as she said. Beastboy felt the cold liquid burn slowly down his throat. That is not a typical girl drink.
"What the fuck is that?" he spat, sticking his tongue out while passing her the drink. She had to bite her lip to stop a surge of laughter bubbling up.
"You're the expert, what do you think it is?" she said nonchalantly. He moved his tongue around his mouth to try and pick it up.
"Umm… well it's strong that's for sure and…sweet and fruity… Is it something with apple?" He guessed, pausing throughout as he tried to figure out what it was. Honestly she was kind of impressed. Beastboy got all that just from a sip?!
The music was still blaring around them as a new crowd entered. Now Raven really needed more if she was gonna last at least a few hours in here. She sipped down the rest of the drink and got up.
"Thirsty?" he asked, the sarcasm clear in his voice. She glared at him. "Want some more? I'm going over now." She swirled the straw in the glass in thought then nodded. "What do you want?"
"The same as I just had." He raised an eyebrow questioningly at her. "Apple vodka"
"Plain apple vodka?" he asked, highly doubtful.
"Did you taste much lemonade in the drink you just had?"
"No."
"Exactly. Since I'm half demon my immune system is stronger than the average human therefore it stops the alcohol and toxins before they affect my body. It would take me at least 3 bottles of vodka to get me drunk maybe even more." Raven explained. Beastboy made a slow 'o' movement with his mouth as he absorbed the information. It sort of made sense to why she didn't drink, on one hand it was pointless and probably more expensive and on the other she just wasn't one for drinking.
"Ok, well I'll get some shots and another apple vodka." 'That will definitely begin to take the edge off' he added in afterthought.
Leaving Raven at the table he began to manoeuvre through the obstacles that were strong smelling drunk people. Jesus, they smelled awful. If Raven was going to get drunk that meant he had to look after her. That meant Beastboy had to be responsible for Raven, meaning he couldn't get drunk if they wanted to actually get home. Now this was becoming a strange turn around. He decided to order Raven 3 rounds and an apple vodka, for now, and just 2 rounds for him.
"Hey Rae-
She grabbed a shot and gulped it down in one go completely cutting him off.
"Woah… you weren't kidding!" he said in shock. She didn't even cringe at the taste, until he realised she just practically drank a whole glass of apple vodka in about 20 minutes. She looked at him blankly. He threw his hands up in defence.
Ok he had to admit now he was getting bored it had been over an hour and nothing fairly interesting happened. Now only one idea came to mind.
"Wanna dance?" he suggested with a smile.
"Gar I don't dance."
"Sure you do, plus it's not like anyone is actually dance- dancing they're just swaying and stuff"
"No, I'm not dancing." She said sternly. God, she could be so stubborn, though it's not like it ever stopped him. In one swift movement he got up and began dragging her towards the dancefloor. She planted her feet hard on the ground and didn't move, trying to stop him from pushing her any further, but he was much stronger than her which she seemed to forget and he pressed his body closer causing her to move forward with him. Raven groaned with irritation.
"I hate you." She muttered causing him to laugh. He wrapped his hands around her waist and began to move them both to the sway of the music. After a few failed attempts at leaving Raven reluctantly gave in and relaxed, putting her hands around his neck. He chuckled again.
"See it's not so bad" he smirked only getting an eye roll in response. It was only minutes later that he noticed the blush on her face. Beastboy decided to bring her even closer slightly grabbing her sides making her squirm. She wriggled out of his grip with a half glare. He tried to make a pouting face but failed terribly because of that smile on her face which only made him smile even more. He reached out to pull her back into his arms but only got a smug smile in response. 'What was she thinking?'
Raven dodged out the way and pushed a random blonde into him. She giggled and began to grind up against him. His eyes widened in shock but before he could do anything Raven was already out of sight.
After prying the drunk blonde off him Beastboy found that all his and Ravens drinks were empty. He turned around trying to catch any sign of Raven but not even his enhanced senses could pick her up.
After probably walking through the whole club 4 times searching he went back to the dance floor. Much to his surprise (and slight annoyance) Raven was there dancing and swaying to the music, eyes closed and completely ignoring her surroundings as she waved her arms around elegantly. She looked beautiful, no, more than beautiful. The rainbow of flashing lights bounced of her body and curves highlighting it in every possible way as she moved, making her look like some enchanted fairy-tale character. Beastboy's eyes were practically frozen on her and time just blurred around him as he stared. In all honesty it was strange to think of Raven as some sexy enchanted goddess dancing in a club but as he watched her more intently it was probably the most beautiful and arousing thing he had witnessed. So far.
Her eyes suddenly fluttered open and lingered on his own as she slowed her dancing. A slight blush tinted cheeks disappearing with the haze of colours of the club until she smirked. A sly, coy teasing smirk. He raised his eyebrows in question but she just disappeared into the crowd. 'Great' now he had to find her again. It was like some teasing game of cat and mouse, and Beastboy liked games and he knew now that Raven did too.
Slowly making his way to the bar he literally froze in disbelief at the sight before him. Was Raven flirting?
His face instantly turned into a scowl as he walked up to the two. Raven giggled at whatever he said making the dark haired guy lean closer. She giggled again until she saw Gar nearing, her gaze didn't falter on his as the rest of the club disappeared around them. Gar looked towards the guy making Raven burst into another fit of giggles. The man was ordering another drink and Beastboy could see two empty apple Vodka bottles on the counter and the third just being drained of its last drop. He looked back at the giggling Raven. She was drunk. Raven was actually drunk! And it wasn't even elev- wait…he took a double glance at his watch. What the hell? It was already 1am!
Beastboy grabbed Raven by the wrist.
"We should get home."
"Aweee…Gar but it's only getting fun." She whined.
"Raven your drunk. Home. Now." he said sternly. Raven pouted, her eyes became sad and wide as she stared up at him. Beastboy couldn't believe what she was doing. She was doing the face; his the face and it looked absolutely adorable. Nice to know he was rubbing off on her. It would've worked if it wasn't for the fact that he invented it. It took a lot of willpower to not give in but he learnt not to do as she said a long time ago, actually he never done as she asked.
"No, were going home and you're going to bed." he said and practically picked her up of the chair. Ravens expression faltered until her eyes became half lidded. She brushed her fingertips up his bare arm, her touch as soft as feathers.
"Whose bed?" she whispered, her breath warm on his skin. Was Raven actually implying…?
'No. She's drunk, she'll probably forget in the morning.' He reasoned with himself. Beastboy ignored her and carried on walking to his bike. Now this was going to be hard.
"Raven? How are you feeling?" he asked cautiously. She frowned in thought.
"Meth before death." She giggled. 'What?'
"Raven can you still use your powers?" he asked again. Instead of answering she chose to ignore him and carry on.
"Have you ever had drugs BB? They are not good fun. Don't use drugs BB." She sang.
"Raven" he hissed. "We're in public"
"That makes it more exciting don't ya think? All the risks and excitement, I am half demon after all." She laughed which only made him smile. Who knew Raven was a bad girl? Knowing this, probably in more ways than one. 'God, what the hell am I thinking?'
The thought made his fantasies burst into his mind once again. His animal urges now matching her demonic ones perfectly. They were more alike than he thought, than she even thought. Beastboy looked over at her only to see a seductive smirk. He desperately wanted to succumb to those cravings, the ones he chose to ignore over the years they lived together. All the feelings and thoughts of her which were always pushed to the back of his mind and ignored.
Raven however was having too much fun. Her emoticons were ecstatic at the new release in the real world, all pushing and shoving trying to be let out. If she didn't know any better right now she was probably acting nuts.
Raven burped then quickly covered her mouth and giggled, Beastboy watched her with wide eyes and laughed awkwardly as well. She then suddenly began to cry and shake quietly, he slowly walked over to her and enveloped her in a hug. Whatever way she was acting right now he had to help.
"I'm sorry" she mumbled. "I'm so so sorry. I shouldn't have got drunk…and now…and now you have to take care of me." She sniffled. He couldn't help but smile. Raven really was strange at times.
"Com'on Rae we need to get home." He said softly. She looked at him with new bright eyes complete opposites of a few minutes ago. 'What the hell?'
"I know, I know" she squealed like a school girl throwing her hand up as if wanted to be picked. "We can fly…. home" She said, extending fly as she looked up at the stars. "Wow…" Beastboy looked up as well and then glanced at Raven.
"Com'on Rae. Home time"
"Ok" she sang and suddenly both they and his motorbike were covered in a black aura. Next time Beastboy opened his eyes he was in the garage. He looked around and found his bike in its spot but no Raven.
His ears perked up as a loud crash came from a few floors above. Well loud to him anyway.
"Hello Gar" Raven purred as he entered the common room
"Raven? Are you feeling ok?" he asked, she was looking more dazed than before. Raven slowly walked up to him and began to run her fingertips up his bare arm. His eyes would've rolled to back of his head with that delicate touch, but she was drunk and he knew better than to give into her even though it was so damn hard. Wait. Did that mean she wanted him as bad as he wanted her?
Raven smiled and slowly moved her hand downwards to his crotch, instantly snapping the green titan out of his thoughts. 'What was she doing?'
"Raven you need some sleep." he said and began to move away from her.
"Why don't you come sleep with me" she asked innocently.
"Raven…" he warned. She giggled and turned now trying to make her tea. Honestly although Raven didn't even know what was happening outside she felt herself relax, be free, it was the type of release she needed after all these years but maybe not the one she exactly wanted.
Beastboy groaned. "Do you want some help?"
"No. I can do it" She said stubbornly. It was talking her a while to figure out how to turn on the tap. She twisted it left, then right, then even tried to push it but the tap, much to her surprise wouldn't budge or turn on. Beastboy walked over and lifted it up. Her eyes widened. "Wow, that was cool your so smart" she said in bewilderment, he raised an eyebrow in confusion. 'Were her emoticons stupid or was the alcohol affecting them as well?'
"Just fill the pot, Rae" he sighed but she didn't even listen, Raven was far too interested at looking at the endless supply of water. She then yawned and rubbed her eyes. "Com'on time for sleep, you're going to have one major hangover tomorrow."
Raven shook away the fatigue and giggled running out the room. Beastboy walked through the common room but she wasn't there, he decided to check the corridors next. Suddenly a large black oval formed in front of him and then Raven appeared. Her face was inches away from his but she just poked her tongue out in a teasing gesture.
"I bet you can't catch me BB" she sang making an 'L' shape with her hands, for 'loser' and waving them about. He grinned and ran after her. 'She really is cute when she's silly' he thought.
"I can smell you from here" he called out while slowly creeping around the corner.
This corridor had Beastboy's and Ravens rooms but strangely her scent was coming from his. Not that he minded. He's always preferred her scent and loved when it lingered around, especially in his room. He frowned and made his way in but came across an odd site. There Raven was with her tongue stuck out in concentration, her body on the bed with head dangling of the side and with one of his hand held video games in her grasp. 'Raven's playing video games?'
She jumped up and began bouncing on his double bed. "I won. I won." She sang victoriously. "Beat that beastie. It's a new high score!" she boasted and shoved the game in his face. He focused his eyes on the screen and was shocked to see that she was right. Raven had actually beat his high score. Well not his, it was Cyborgs.
"Whatever" he grumbled. Raven forgot about the game and started to climb under the covers. "Raven what are you doing?"
"Sleeping" she mumbled stifling a yawn. He sighed, there was no way he was going to get her out now. She wasn't even changed and she was unpredictable
"Why don't you go get changed and sleep in your bed?" he questioned.
"Because your bed is comfy." She replied sleepily. Beastboy looked around his room trying to come up with an idea. He walked over to his wardrobe and pulled out a plain black t-shirt. It would be oversized for her, perfect for sleeping in.
"Here. Rae. Change." He ordered.
She flipped the duvet off any signs of being tired now gone and began to pull of her top then bra. He blushed and handed her the top, looking away as he did so. Raven was too drunk and tired to even care that she had an audience. She pulled it on and fell back onto the cushion completely exhausted. Beastboy decided to change himself into a muscle tee and sweatpants. He found Raven completely fast asleep when he finished though she was still wearing jeans. Trying not to wake her he slowly began to pull them off, completely ignoring her underwear for personal hormonal reasons as well as her privacy and as they became bunched at the bottom he pulled them off completely. Now she was just in his tee and underwear and in his bed. Oh god now that was a thought. He blushed furiously and opted to sleep as a cat for the night, who knows what could happen if he didn't.
There will be plenty more chapters and alot more fluff. If you have any ideas or anything for inspiration let me know and Let me know what you think about this :) sadly its not as in character as i hoped but bare in mind their older and Ravens drunk.
