Chapter V: "Case Closed" (part 2)
Yasuhara's P.O.V.
We arrived in Tokyo a little bit early than we expect, it is only 5 o'clock in the morning. But since we are already here in Tokyo, we must go straight back to the client's house but it seems that keichi doesn't want to go back yet.
"Keichi…I will just call a taxi so that we could go back to the house" I said while pointing to an area in which some taxi normally stops or gets their passenger.
"wait…yasu…can't we just go back their later by afternoon…it's just that its been so long since the last time the two of us share bed…" he said while blushing for a bit.
"but we need to go back as soon as possible"
"But!"
"what?"
"I really want us to at least rest for a while…even if it's only in one of the hotels nearby…just away from that house..."
"we can't do that..."
"yasu… you know how much I miss being hug by you during night and I want us to be together…just the two of us…" now his blushing more as red as a tomato, and this made me kinda laugh since he is so cute when blushing.
"I know that it's been so long but maybe we could do that after this case…maybe tonight…the boss might finish this case today and then proceed to the next…I will just inform him that I need to rest and not meet the next client with them so…you can stay over to my house tonight…there we could do whatever you want…we could rest until morning without any interruption…will that be fine?" I asked
"hmnn…ok…"
"you're really cute when you blush *smirk*"
"who's fault do you think it is?"
"ok, ok, we really need to go back now…" I said as I guide him to the taxi and gave a piece of paper to the driver in which it contains the address that we are going to.
"wait…you mention that you're not gonna meet the client with them…you have another case after this?"
"yup! Well…according to bou-san…Big boss's father got another request or rather case and big boss will be meeting that client after this…so if we finish before noon then he might meet them by this afternoon"
"uwah! Is he a workaholic young man? At his age he must at least enjoy more his life and must not dive himself into work"
"hahaha…true! But now nobody stops him from being a workaholic…not even masako, his fiancé stops him…only mai can and that start their argument most of the time"
"that mai-chan sure can compete with your boss's attitude huh…"
"yeah…big boss is a narcissist that is why mai-chan calls him naru for short"
"hahaha! Now I can imagine how those two argue"
"but it will be more fun to see it in person…I really hope that Saiki Mai is Taniyama Mai..."
"how about you tell your boss that we'll go check on mai…since she is here in japan…I will just inform his brother about it"
"ok! We'll go there tomorrow" I said in a very cheerful way. We notice that the taxi stop and notice that we arrive at our destination which is the house of the house of the Hijirikawa.
"wait yasu…the client's house is over there right?" asked keichi
"did I made a mistake sir? Do you want me to move over there?" asked the driver
"no, your right…thank you…keichi let's go…" I aside as I gave the payment and get out of the taxi while keichi follow.
"were in the right house?"
"yeah…don't you remember that your sister and her family is staying here for awhile since staying at that house is very dangerous especially for ryousuke-kun"
"ah! Now that you mention it…your right…how can I forget such a thing…."he said as we are walking towards the door when it suddenly open on its own…keichi kinda freeze for the moment but when I clearly stare at the door…john is the one standing and also the one who open the door"
"JOHN!" I shouted…
"yasuhara-kun…it's good that you're both fine…" he said
"yeah and we finished what the big boss asked us to do, right keichi…"I faced keichi who seem to be like a stone as this very moment.
"keichi-kun…what's the matter?" asked john, by then I put my hand at keichi's shoulder and look at him while he look at me back and this time, he seems to be fine now.
"are you alright?" I asked
"yeah…thanks…and brown-san…will you not do that again…It really shock me…I thought that monster came here…" said keichi who suddenly hold my hand so tight.
"ah…sorry about that…by the way…why don't you come in, I'm sure both of you are tired" said john as he open the door wide and gesture his hand as if he is welcome a guest.
"yes…thanks john!" I said as we all go in and saw keichi's sister at the kitchen preparing breakfast. Keichi and me sit on the set and rest for awhile since we are exhausted because of the trip. I sat next to him and I suddenly felt his head unto my shoulder.
"rest…I know that your tired…you can lay down in the set and just make my lap your pillow so that it won't be so difficult for you when you wake up later" I said to keichi
"alright…just wake me up later ok?" he replied
"ok…" and he then fell asleep while I asked john to call lin-san and inform them that we arrived earlier than expected. And I didn't notice that I felt asleep also for almost an hour, john wake me up and told me that we need to wake up now since the boss of Sakaki-san arrived. I then wake up keichi and we both stand up in the right time as the guest just enter the living room. The boss of Mr. Satori-san, is not that old or maybe he is in his 30's or 40's of aged. He is wearing a coat as if he is just going to his office, he is tall and his hair is color black but his eyes is somewhat color brown. Together with him is two man in black which is his bodyguard if I'm not mistaken and also a handsome young man.
"President…please sit down for a while and also you Ueda-san…" said Satori-san to his boss and also to the young man.
"Satori…why did you asked us to go straight here and not to my house?" asked the president as satori-san calls him
"well…you see…the house isn't safe as of now…that is why Mr. shibuya asked us to stay here in this house for a while and his assistant will just come later to pick us up" answered satori-san
"I see…so who are this people…I believe I only knew your family…" he asked as he point his fingers towards us.
"they are some of the member of SPR…this is Mr. John Brown…" said satori-san as he pointed his hand to john
"nice to meet you sir…I'm john Brown…a priest"
"and this is Mr. Osumu Yasuhara…"
"Good Morning sir! Nice to meet you…I'm Yasuhara…the researcher of the team…and assistant of the boss" I said
"so you're the one that will lead us to my house?" he asked
"no sir…that will be Lin-san the other assistant since he be using some protection in order for the element to not notice our presence…" I said
"I see…very well…nice to meet you two…I'm Satori's boss, Ueda Yuichi and this is my son Ueda Yusuke..." he said as we hand shake
"a pleasure to meet you" said Yusuke-san
"oh! President…this is the owner of the house…Hijirikawa-san…He's the younger brother of someone who died in that house…" said satori-san
"nice to meet you sir…I hope that whatever is in that house will be gone…so many children…teens and poor souls have been a sacrifice for that monster…and my brother who was once save by his lover in order to live long still killed himself to be with him and right now…I believe that all of the people who died their…are trap…their souls are trap…and this people are the only one who tried to do something about that house…if they were able to free all those souls and vanish whatever is in their…then I'm also thankful" he said. I approach him and pat his shoulder.
"big boss…will not back out of any case that caught his attention and he will surely finish it until the end…" I said
"that would be great…" said the president
"so what time are we going to go there?" asked yusuke-san
"it's 7:30…we just need to wait for Lin-san to arrive…he will be here in a minute" said John. And just after he said that lin-san came.
"good morning everyone...I see that satori-san's boss is already here…" said lin-san
"I'm Ueda Yuichi and this is my son Ueda Yusuke and those are my bodyguards" said president
"nice to meet you sir…I'm Koujo Lin…I will be the one to guide you back to the house…please do stay close to me at all times…" said lin-san
"uhmnnn…everyone…I just finish preparing breakfast…maybe it will be good for you to first eat breakfast before heading back to that house" said Mrs. Satori
"that will be good…we haven't had our breakfast yet…" said president who go straight to the table while tagging his son with him
"father! Your being rude! And stop dragging me!" said yusuke-san
"ueda-san…it's alright…" said satori-san
"Satori-san! Also please stop calling me ueda…your making me confuse….just call me yusuke!" said yusuke
"hehe…well, everyone is welcome to eat…also lin-san please join us…while I prepare some foods for shibuya-san and the rest…"
"thank you but before I left…I already prepare breakfast for them…" said lin-san. After that all of us are eating our breakfast, me and keichi mention about the remains and lin-san just told us that he will be the one who will bring that since it will be dangerous to carry such thing while being target by an evil. When it's already 8:00 we all left the house and head back to the client's house. Lin-san asked ueda-san to just leave his bodyguards here since it will be kind of difficult to protect to many people.
Naru's P.O.V.
Just this morning, Lin informed me that yasuhara and keichi-san arrived in Tokyo and now I asked lin to pick them up by 8 am since the client's boss will be arriving by that time. It's already 8:30, masako and bou-san are now awake and currently drinking some coffee that will warm them and already taken their breakfast that lin made. Anytime soon, I'm expecting that all of them will arrive here so that I can explain to them all what we are supposed to do that will surely end this case. Minutes later, Mr. Satori enter the room, followed by yasuhara and keichi then two men, one old and the other is a bit you or more likely just three years older than me and lastly Lin.
"Mr. Shibuya, let me introduce you my boss and the owner of this house, Mr. Ueda Yuichi-san and this is his son, Mr. Ueda Yusuke" said Mr. satori
"nice to meet you sir, I'm Shibuya Kazuya and this is Takigawa Hoshou and Hara Masako" I said introducing masako and bou-san
"yes, nice to meet you too, I didn't think that your this young to be the boss" said Mr. Ueda while were shaking hands and I just nod to what he said. I presume that he already knows the rest of my team.
"very well…since everyone is here already, I will now explain everything including the information that yasuhara and keichi-san send to me yesterday" I said while all of them are now sitting
"Uhmn…before you start…can I ask you something?" said Mr. Yusuke
"what is it?"
"It's just that I notice that…you only stay here in this room…I can see that you are kinda not going out here…why is that?" He asked and I think he is pertaining to the things that can be found here in the based since futon can be seen, cups and a water heater for our drinks and some foods on one of the tables.
"That would be because in this room we can be sure that we are safe, that none of us will be in danger since we talk to one of the trap spirits here discover that the evil entity here is after young people, and since almost all of the members of my team are young, we need to be careful at all times that is why my assistant Lin set up a barrier here protected by some of his shiki" I answered
"you mean that this house is haunting youngsters?" asked Mr. Ueda
"yes, now can I proceed to my explanation?"
"of course…thank you for explaining"
"now, Yasuhara and keichi-san were able to talk to the Nakajima family in Kyoto, The clan of nakajima are included to the omnyuji clan and the origin of all this is the best friend of the older son of the Ogata, Named Ogata Natsu. His bestfriend is also part of the nakajima clan and it just happen that he most likely wants to regain the life of his son who died, by sacrificing another kid in order to call an akuma that would grant his wish. But after the akuma(demons) take his soul, the only thing that remain to him is his bones in which he requested natsu-san to bury under his favorite tree and right now we have it." I started explaining
"Now that explain why the souls started to became aware" said masako who is looking at the door
"what do you mean masako-chan?" asked yasuhara
"it seems that he notice that you have his remains that he wants to have it and suddenly when you all enter the room all the spirits became active and started to search and wants to have it as an offering to him…"
"I see…well…it will be obvious that he would want to have his remains since Natsu-san didn't pray for the safety of his soul that is why he was suffering, I would guess that he wants to have his remains because in that way he might be able to go back to own body or to take it away from the akuma" said Lin
"Lin…what do you mean?" I asked
"Well…Soul is the payment for the wish that you wanted to be granted but if something went wrong then the body will be the other in a way that the akuma will use it to be out of a curse…Yasuhara-san is there any curse in this house?"
"well…I send it to big boss…all the information that we discover…" said yasu while looking at me
"Yes, there is…since Natsu-san didn't put or give a proper prayer for his soul because of his anger that he killed his younger brother, that he put a curse into his soul, to the akuma and also to this house…that they will be forever trap in here unless…we do a purification" I said
"A Purification?" wondered Mr. Ueda and
"Purification is being done by fire which means…we need to burn this house so that it can be purified" I said.
"What?! We're going to burn this house?!" shouted Mr. Satori
"Satori…calm down…" said Mr. Ueda
"But Sir! They said that the only action we can do in order to stop all this is to burn the whole house…"
"yes, I know…I heard what he said but if that is the only way then I will not oppose or what…just do whatever it takes to make this evil thing disappear…"
"very well…then…I want you to call the fire station and inform them ahead of time…we will just begin packing then after that we are going to start to burn the whole house and Lin…call John…I want him to also purify the remains…Masako…can you be ready since I assume you made a promise with a spirit…" I said
"yes…I did…"
"Then I want you to go to the house of Hijirikawa-san's little brother…inform him that we are going to perform purification here…bou-san I want you to go with her…pick them all and guide them back here later before we start…all of us will just stay outside while Lin and Bou-san I want you to be the one to start the fire or would you like to be the one to start it Mr. Ueda?"
" No, please I will let your men do it…"
"father…aren't you going to regret it? This house can be said an ancient one since it's been established hundred years ago?" asked the son of Mr. Ueda
"No son…it may be ancient but it is full of evil entity and I don't want that, I would rather agree burning this house and just proceed to a meeting an architecture and discuss a new model house that will be built here…" said Mr. Ueda who seem to me have decided to establish a modern house here.
"ok…" answered the son. With that we decided to do all the necessary things that to be done and pack our things so we can leave. John already purified the remains and we just leave it inside the house so that it will be burn too. Minutes later, we finish packing and Bou-san is back with the wife and son of Mr. satori and also with Mr. hijirikawa.
"excuse me, Mr. Shibuya…I just want to asked…why is Mr. Hijirikawa here? Is he part of your team?" asked Mr. Yusuke
"Mr. hijirikawa, is the little brother of Hijirikawa Rick…another one who died here but originally he was saved by his lover but because of loneliness he immediately follow his lover and died here, he is also the one that gave us information about to what we are dealing with…My fiancé over there promise Rick-san that she will let him borrow her body for a few minute so that
He can talk to his little brother one last time."
"ooohhh…I see…well he did told us about that"he said. After that I ordered Lin and Bou-san to start burning the whole house and to not forget any places…They must burn the whole house. When we saw that everything is burning I just approach Mr. Ueda.
"With this sir…The case is close…"
"Thank you…later on the fire men will arrive here…I will just send the money to your account…"
"please do…My assistant will just give to you the details." I said. I saw masako already talking to Mr. hijirikawa and I guess that isn't masako anymore since judging by the face of Mr. hijirikawa who is a about to cry that is now Rick-san.
"Mr. ueda…here are the details unto where you are going to place the payment" Said Yasuhara who approach Mr. Ueda and his son with Keichi
"Thank you…" said Mr. Ueda
"By the way keichi…right? Do you perhaps know Sakai Mai?" asked Mr. Yusuke which made me kinda stiff just by hearing the name mai.
"eh? How did you know? Do you know her too?" asked keichi
"well…I saw you holding a picture a while ago when we are still in the house of Mr. Hijirikawa…and I happen to recognize one of them that is why I asked you"
"well…I kinda know her since she is the sister of my past lover…the one at yakuza"
"aahh…well…did you know that she is here in japan?" he asked. I immediately turn to lin and bou-san then to yasuhara.
"yeah…a friend of her in Hokkaido told us that she had been here in japan for almost 2 months"
"ooohhh…then you should see her…"
"wait..Yusuke-san how did you know her by the way?" asked yasuhara
"well…I happen to be one of her candidate in becoming her fiancé and all also before I met you I like her so much that I really want to date her but it just happen that I wasn't chosen, then I met you then we had a relationship then I continue becoming like this and now I'm in a relationship with my own secretary" said yusuke-san to keichi (oh?! Did I not mention…yusuke is one of keichi's ex-boyfriend…hehehehe…)
"hehehe…by the way Yasu here is my current one and he will also be the last" said keichi
"is that true?"
"of course! He is my first love and Mai-chan said that first love never dies"
"hahaha! I will pray for you two…anyway…I think your leaving…I will now go over to my father, good luck to the two of you, Bye!" he said to them then go over to his father. Yasuhara and Keichi head over to us.
"I think the two of you need to say something to us…" said bou-san while his hands are on his waist showing that he is a bit angry.
"well…we plan to say it after we check if that mai is really mai-chan…" said yasuhara
"I heard you are talking about some picture…do you perhaps have a picture of that mai?" asked Lin
"ah…yes…we do…here it is…" said keichi who hand over the photo to bou-san…
"this is…I'm not mistaking it…It's Mai-chan! Right Lin?" said bou-san
"yes…naru…look at this…" said Lin who hand over the photo to me. And the moment I saw it, it feels like I found her. In the picture the mai there has a long brown hair, her eyes are the one that I'm very familiar with and she is very beautiful.
"Yasu…when are you going to investigate this?" I asked
"well…we are going to their house by tomorrow noon and that is why boss…can I not be at the office by tomorrow…I'm kinda tired and keichi here wants to sleep over in my house…"he said
"very well…you can do what you want just make sure you will give me the details of this mai"
"ok!" he said. With that our case id over and masako was able to let rick-san talk to his brother and Mr. satori and his family will be staying in Mr. hijirikawa's house since he is just alone in the house and doesn't have any place to stay since the house was burned. Tomorrow, we are going to meet the next client that my father told me and we will immediately proceed to house of the client after the meeting. While Yasu and Keichi-san, will be going to the house of the Sakai Mai and see if she is really Mai. I hope she really is, I really wanted to find her but it's just depressing that she already have a fiancé just like me.
