Chapter VI: "The Sightless meeting"
Yasuhara's P.O.V
Today, we are going to go and visit the sakai residence and check if Sakai Mai is mai-chan or not. Keichi is still with me, he sleepover at my place last night. And, can definitely say that it was a passionate night since all we did is notice but embrace each other as if there is no tomorrow. But it doesn't matter, I admit to him that I missed him and love him. I regretted losing him for years but not I'm grateful that he is still the keichi I know even though he had so many lovers in the past and one of them is a sakai that we will be visiting today. We're on our way to the house of Sakai and to my surprise, it is so big and when we arrived I saw so many man in black that I suppose bodyguards and some were dress in colorful or corporate attire that shows their status as a yakuza. Keichi was the one who talk to one of the people there.
"Uhmnn…excuse me…" said keichi
"yes? What can I do for you?" said Men in black 1
"aahh…yes, can I ask if Sakai Yuu is inside?"
"that's too bad for you keichi…my brother is not here…"said a man who just came out from the house, he dress different from the others or rather he is very compose.
"Shinichi-san...Ohayo-gosaimas! Can I ask where he is?"
"why? Didn't the two of you already break up? Anyway why don't we go inside…it's so cold out here…Taiki…get us some tea…and where is Misaki?" asked shinichi-san as keichi calls him.
"right away shinichi-sama…and misaki-sama had gone into the house of yuu-sama's with haruto-sama" said the man in black that we asked a while ago. Soon we are inside the house that I may really call an old Japanese house and it is really clean as if even if still stands even after all these years. We enter into one of a tatami room, shinichi-san offered us to sit a bit away from him and I know it is typical in yakuza family.
"so…what is your purpose in finding my brother?" asked shinichi-san to keichi
"well…actually…I'm looking for your little sister…her name is mai…if I'm not mistaken…yuu introduce her to me once"
"aaahhh….mai-chan the one who told you something and that made you realize something and then you broke off with yuu…right"
"well…yeah kinda but yuu agreed to it and what I know is that right now he is in a relationship with someone and seems to me that they are now living together"
"yes…your right…" he said when taiki-san enter the room and gave us some tea.
"so…where do they live now? I really want to ask him something about your sister…"
"mai-chan is no longer our sister…father's brother…our uncle adopted her since she and misaki isn't really close or rather the two of them will quarrel every time they saw each other, that is why uncle decided to re-adopt mai-chan...also he and his wife really like mai-chan…"
"hmnn….yasu…what do you think?" keichi asked me

"by the way…who are you?" asked shinichi-san

Sorry for not introducing myself earlier…my name is Osumu Yasuhara…I work at Shibuya Psychic Research or SPR and my boss asked me to search his former assistance who had gone missing for about 5 years now…and it just happen that the description of your sister or cousin mai…is the same things as Mai-chan…ah! Mai-chan or rather her full name is Taniyama Mai…is the assistance that I am talking about…we really want to know where she is…we missed her so much and she is an important member of the team…" I said
"why? Is it because she has a psychic power or ESP?"

"well…when she was introduce to us by father and her full name is Taniyama Mai but since she is now part of the family her surname has change into Sakai…that why you are in the right place and it seems to me that your long search is over…"
"…..KEICHI! I FINALLY FOUND HER!" I shouted and suddenly hug keichi while laughing and somehow I'm about to cry.
"yes…easy now yasu…cry all you want when you see her already…"
"I know…uhmnn…can I see her now?" I asked shinichi-san
"well…you can but she is not here…she's in yuu's place…I will ask one of my men to drive the two of you in their place and I think…You said that you're part of the SPR? Right?"
"yes…"
"well…yuu…called me a week ago that they already asked someone to help them in their new house…that house seem to be hunted, he told me that two or three months ago they have been experiencing some kind of phenomenon like banging of door and writings on the wall…and the worst thing that happen is…two months ago when mai suddenly go home here in japan and she only stay here in the main house for 2 weeks then she decided to stay in yuu's place…three days later, I receive a call from him and he is crying…he told me that mai won't wake up…now…I don't know what is happening to them in there…the last thing I heard about them is when mai wake up a month ago and then nothing more…" said shinichi-san
"So…the one they asked for help is the SPR?" asked keichi
"well…not really…they called a man named Kenneth Okuda…then that man is the one who help them in something and called the SPR...I think they are going to begin investigating the house today…" he said. Keichi and I look at each other and thinking the same thing that 'they will be able to meet mai-chan there now'
"thank you very much for the information! Uhmnnn…sorry for being rude but can we asked if we can go in yuu-san's house now…my boss might be there now…and…"but before I finish shinichi-san stand up.
"Taiki…tell satou to drive them into yuu's house and also tell him to give this to haruto…you can go now….I know that your eager to see her just make sure, you SPR…will solve that case so that they will be safe…Taiki will escort you to the main door…" he said as he walk out and leave us there while Taiki-san gesture that we must go. In the main entrance, we saw a black car and another man in black waiting outside the car.
"Satou…shinichi-sama ask you to bring them into the house of yuu-sama" said Taiki-san to the other man whom he called satou
"ok! Please do get in the car now so that we can leave right away…" he said to us. After hearing him say that me and keichi just hop inside the car and minutes later we left the main house of Sakai. An hour later we stop into a certain house and we saw the van of SPR. We enter the inside the big parking lot since we are allowed to enter because satou-san show something and just let us in. We got off the car and just walk unto the front door of the house wherein the SPR and also big boss's parents are currently standing in front of the door looking at us.
"Shounen…why are you here? And keichi-kun too…"asked bou-san and beside him is ayako
"well…hehehe…"I just giggle noticing the amusing looks of everyone.
"Yasuhara…you told me that you and keichi will investigate that mai…"said big boss
"well…we did and it just happen that the older brother of keichi's ex-lover said that his other brother which is the ex-lover of keichi lives here and that mai-chan is also here…" I answered
"uhmnn…excuse me everyone…please don't block the way…" said satou-san who press the doorbell. And minutes later someone opened the door. An average man who is kinda look like a half Japanese and half foreign blood.
"Professor Davis! At last you arrive!" said the man and immediately approach Mr. Davis
"you too okuda…it's been so long and I just can't believe that you asked for help…" said Mr. Davis while shaking hands.
"yes…even I can't believe it myself…Oh! Hi Mrs. Davis…you look so beautiful as ever and oliver and lin! It's good to see you"
"yes, it is good to see you ken-chan…"said Mrs. Davis
"oh! Sorry of my rudeness…come on in please…and everyone is waiting inside" he said and gesture to welcome us inside.
"can I ask where is Haruto-sama?" asked Satou-san
"Haruto-san is also inside, in the living room with yuu-san" he answered while satou-san just go inside. We reach the living room in which I saw satou-san talking to someone whom I assume is haruto-san and also there are other people in the living room.
"keichi…is that you?" asked a young man sitting in one of the sofas looking in our way.
"Yuu..."said keichi in my side
"Yuu…do you know them? Okuda-san are they the ones who will help us?" asked another man behind the ex-lover of keichi.
"yes…they're SPR…they will help us all in this case…right oliver?" said okuda-san who put his arm around behind his neckline.
"aaahhh….please do come forward here and sit…My name is Sakai Yuu…and this man is my lover Senichi-san…and this is my little sister Sakai Misaki and that man over there is my older brother Sakai Haruto…" said Yuu-san
"well… nice to meet you all…allow me to introduce the SPR…I'm Luella Davis and this is my husband Martin Davis…but my son was the one who runs the SPR and we are just helping…This is our son…Oliver Davis but he prefers to be called Shibuya Kazuya to avoid any issues and this is his assistant Koujo Lin…And this is Takigawa Houshou and his wife Takigawa Ayako…they are monk and miko…and this is Hara Masako our medium…John Brown a priest…Osumu Yasuhara…their researcher…and...uhmnnn" mrs. Davis introduce us all and as expected she doesn't know keichi.
"his name is Kitamura Keichi…senichi-san you're asking if I know him…and yes, I do…since before you became my lover…keichi-kun is my lover for a year but I can see that you finally found him huh…"said yuu-san
"yeah…thanks to her…I was able to find him and you also found you destined one…I know that you're there when she said those things to me" said keichi while walking. We all reach the sofas, and some were now sitting while the others are just standing.
"then…can you please start explaining the situation so that we could proceed to our investigation…" said Big boss who is now sitting while lin-san is already setting his laptop for him to type whatever information they have to say.
"well…before we begin…I believe these two have something to ask since they came from the main house and was guided here by satou…so what is it that you want to know?" said Haruto-san
"ah! Yes! And it's a good thing that everyone is here…with that I won't have any problems in explaining…hehehe…."I said while smirking
"Just ask now shounen…" said bou-san
"well…your brother in the main house said that Mai-chan is here…"
"Mai? Why are you looking for her? Are you a spy of that bastard?" said angrily of haruto-san
"eh? That bastard?" I asked
"yes! That BASTARD FIANCE OF MAI! He hurt her feelings! He cheated on her! He has been sending many man in the main house to spy on her that is why we decided to transfer her here…so…are you one of them? HUH!?" he shouted
"ah! No! I'm not! We are looking for her because we want to make sure if she's the mai that we know...that we're looking for…"
"mai that you know?"
"yes…in our team we also have a girl name mai and its been 5 years since she disappear…and we want to see her again…for 5 years…we have been looking for her that is why please! If she is the mai that we are looking for then our long search will be over…"
"and what are you going to do or say if mai is that mai that you are pertaining?"
"we want her to join us! Right big boss…?" I turn to the way of big boss and asked that.
"that would be impossible…she might be that mai but…she's a very busy girl now…"
"Brother! If they want her back then just give her back! I don't want her part of the family!" said Misaki-san
"Misaki! Uncle already re-adopted her! Why are you still complaining?" said haruto-san
" yes! Uncle re-adopted her! And all of the company of uncle and aunty will be hers! She is just after their money! That is why she is showing others that she is a good and hardworking girl! SHE IS NOTHING BUT A WORTHLESS GIRL THAT WAS ADOPTED FIRST BY FATHER! AND TO ADD UP! SHE IS A WHORE! SHE DESERVE TO BE CHEATED BY HER FIANCE!" she shouted
"SHUT UP! Misaki why are you like that to her? She tried to be a good little sister and you are just being so cruel to her! What is your problem anyway!? Mai is suffering right now! And of course you don't know what is happening to her! And calling her whore is so offensive" shouted yuu-san after he slap her
"NO IT'S NOT! SHE DESERVE TO BE CALLED LIKE THAT! I know that even Okuda-san here is one of her man…so don't cover her!"
"MISAKI! STOP IT!" shouted haruto-san who made misaki-san quiet
"yuu…" said keichi seeing yuu-san already crying
"okuda-kun…I'm sorry for what my little sister said…please forgive her" said yuu-san
"it's ok…well I will not blame you saying that to me since…mari and I did have a relationship but! That is after his fiancé cheat on her…she just happen to ask for my help to spy on her fiancé and that's when he was exposed or caught on the spot kissing another woman…but please don't call mari a whore cause she isn't…I just comfort here in times of being heartbroken…"
"don't cover for her! Cause when she was staying in the main house…I once caught her being with a man…she is flirting AND when I follow them…they are kissing…and for your information that man she is kissing is my Boyfriend! That is why she is a whore!"
"ENOUGH OF THIS! AND MISAKI ONE MORE WORD OF WHORE brother will be the one to decide your punishment!" said the very angry haruto-san
"anyway…you know…I'm bother with what you said a while ago kid…yuu-san…everyone please excuse me for a while…I'm gonna check on her…" said Okuda-san while walking away.
"okuda! Bring her here…so that they can meet her…"said haruto-san
"well…I'm going to do that but that will take in a while…so better explain everything to them…I will just help her wash…she must be having some bad dreams by now…" he said before going out completely.
"going to wash her? What does he mean by that?" asked ayako-san
"well…literary it means…hehehe…why don't we begin explaining everything to you" said senichi-san
"wait…you mean he is going to wash her whole body…exposing it to him! That can't be accepted! If she is mai! Then allow me to be the one to wash her!" said ayako
"no need for that...mai didn't seem to be bother with that…and okuda-san says that washing her is also a form of cleansing her soul since he can't help it that the spirits can still hunt her in her dreams…"said yuu-san.
"now…can we proceed to the explanation?" said big boss
"well…then…let's begin during the time when we brought this house which is 5 months ago….I asked some maid to clean the whole house and they stay here for a month with some bodyguards…but a little while later…they said that something not normal is going on in this house…like banging of doors…crying, shouting of woman, and maids being pull down in many different places here…"
"is that all?"
"no…the time when we arrive here…it became worst…one maid was killed and somehow she has traces of being rape since the once who found her said that she is completely naked by we just see it as an accident and the following week…it became quiet…but two months ago…when mai arrive here…it started again…"
"what are the happening when she arrive?"
"that would be…2 days after she had fallen into a deep sleep for about a month, when we want to rush her to the nearest hospital during that time but…when we tried to get her out of the house…her body will start to have some burn rashes… as if she is being burn if ever we bring her out…that is why we decided to just let her stay inside the house…then we just called our family doctor and ask what is happening to her…the only thing he told me is she is in a comatose state…"
"ooww…that's awful…when did she wake up then?"asked mrs. Davis
"she wake up at the end of last month…but…when she woke up…she no longer sees anything…she became blind…"
"what?! How?" asked ayako…
"we don't know…but when she wake up she asked for her phone and made me dial okuda-san's number...that's when okuda-san came here…he said that there is some evil spirit here that damages mai's body and health…he said that he must stay beside her outside her room since it's only mai's room where he put some barrier so that nothing more serious will happen to her since we did told him about the maid and he said that 'this spirit may as well rape and kill mai' that is why he just stay beside mai of just leav her in her room but it won't stop them from hunting her in her dreams…he helps her wash as he have said a while ago since washing her is somewhat cleansing her body…then 2 weeks ago he said that he will contact you since you are the only one who can help us now…so please do take the case! Mai is important to all of us! Please!" said yuu-san while bowing.
"we will take the case…we just need some room to sleep and a big room with many outlet" said big boss
"those are already prepared…since okuda-san knows that you will be needing all of that…"
"then…lin...yasuhara…bou-san…bring all the equipments inside…"
"your rushing everything oliver…you don't even know where the room is…" said okuda-san from the outside. When he enter he behind him is a girl with a long brown hair.
"Charles…until when am I going to stand?" said the girl, her voice is so familiar.
"oh! Sorry…hehehe…here let me carry you up to the sofa…" said okuda-san as he carry the girl in a bridal style.
"what's wrong? Can't you walk mai?" asked haruto-san who help okuda-san. While all of us are in the midst of being shock…eyes and mouth are wide open.
"is that you haruto-nii?" asked mai
"yes…its me…how are you? Is your leg hurting that you can't walk?"
"I'm fine…yes, it just hurt a little but Charles told me that I'll be fine…"
"then that's good…"said haruto-san while mai who is now sitting in front of us.
"I see that everyone is here…its too bad that I can't see you all…its been awhile everyone…"Now I'm certain that it is mai who is now sitting In front of us. But somehow, because of her eyes she can't see us but still she is so beautiful. Finally, I found her…the love of my life…When this case is over, I will tell her how I feel and never again hurt her and I will of course not let any man be near her.
