Thank you for being patient.

Chapter 15

"I want a secure lock down," Crowley yelled at his lower level employees. "If they struck once they can strike again!"

Most of Crowley's employees at his mill were what most people on the inside called: Demons. They were called that because of the way that they were told to treat the angels and the fact that they were basically the minions of the owners, which by most human standards were the equivalent of the devil themselves. They were the ones in charge of feeding the angels, selecting the ones that were to be bred to the stud Alphas of the mill, and basically obeying Crowley's every whim. It was rough and unfulfilling work, but the pay was alright and it wasn't as bad as some of the other underground or illegal angel jobs out there.

"Meg," Crowley barked orders. "I want you on patrol on the inside. Make sure no one else gets out from the inside."

"Yes sir." Meg nodded and walked off towards the cages, shutting the metal door behind her.

Meg Masters was usually in charge of feeding the angels. She was a younger girl, twenty something years old and was only doing this to support her little brother. She'd had a bright future before her parents had died and hadn't known what she had been getting into when that stranger had approached her in the street late one night and offered her a job. Something she had desperately needed. She regretted it after she'd found out her title, but once you were in a mill's inner circle it was for life. The owners couldn't risk being ratted out so they kept their employees for the long term and if anyone did squeal and was found out…it wasn't a pretty ending.

"Benny," Crowley looked over at an older man wearing old raggedy clothing and a worn Italian fisherman's hat. "I want you on the outside on guard. Who knows where and when they'll try to get in again."

Benny Lafitte nodded. He was a man in his mid forties who was struggling to pay rent in a one bedroom apartment on the east side of town. The bad side, sure the sounds of gunshots at night were a bit unsettling, but no one had ever messed with Benny. Mostly, he thought, due to his grotesque appearance and his rough exterior. Most people when they first met him perceived him as some kind of drug lord most likely. He'd even made a few children cry one time just by looking at them, but little did they all know even though he worked in one of the most rough places on earth, he wasn't that rough himself.

"Yes Crowley," Benny cleared his throat, he was a slight smoker after all. "I'll keep an eye out for the bastards."

Meg and Benny were Crowley's best besides a few other lackeys he kept around for his entertainment. They were mostly scared kids who were too terrified to speak up to him and scampered around doing his every will. Benny rolled his eyes and stuck up his nose to them. They clearly didn't know what it meant to work for someone with that much power over them.

Benny strolled through the cages on his way to the outside of the mill. Omegas and weaker Alphas of all sizes and shapes cowered in his presence. It was understandable after all, he did make children cry sometimes, why not angels? A skinnier Alpha looked up at Benny, eyes wide with sheer terror and he shook to the bone, Benny made eye contact with him for a split second before reaching his fingers out to the bars and offering them to the Alpha. The Alpha sniffed them gingerly and looked back up at him, too terrified to move. Benny moved slow and carefully…scratched the Alpha's head?

The Alpha blinked a few times and slowly let Benny finish what he was doing. The Alpha leaned into his gentle touch as Benny scratched at the hair on his head before moving on. The Alpha quietly chirped once and Benny bid him goodbye. Benny then walked over to another cage, one with an Omega and her babies. Benny unlocked the cage halfway and the Omega cowered in fear. The Omega's babies chirped and freaked out, jumping around the cage towards their mother and gesticulating wildly with their wings. Benny gently picked one up and petted its tiny head. The mother Omega chirped, hoping he'd put her baby back, but she also was deep rooted taught not to fight back and let things be.

Benny opened his jacket and tucked the baby inside, hiding it, before closing the cage entirely and looking back at the mother. He stepped forward and shuffled his jacket open a bit, flashing a necklace at the Omega. She calmed immediately and remained quiet and still. Benny looked around him before stomping towards the doors and coolly walking through them to the outside. He'd timed the cameras right this time once again.

The alleyway was dark and damp. Water dripped from pipes that led to nowhere. Old fire escapes creaked in the chilly air. Steam rose from vents. A few sirens were heard in the distance along with the honking of car horns, but not a soul but Benny was around the mill. Or so he thought. Benny leaned against the cold brick wall and lit a cigarette, puffing out smoke and he coughed once. He needed to quit he knew that, but it was an excuse to be outside where he needed to be.

Benny turned his head when he heard a scuffle of feet nearby. Benny froze, mid smoke, and turned his head towards the sound. He calmly remained against the wall, lest it be the fuzz. He'd simply explain to them he was out for a walk and decided to have a smoke. No big deal, he was in no way associated with the mill, but who stepped out of the shadows was not the police. It was a scrawnier guy, very skinny actually, short brown hair in a bowl cut fashion, rather unusual nose, brown eyes, he wore a leather jacket, jeans and boots though. He fit the description. Benny turned to him and nodded once, hoping that this was what he was out here for. The skinny guy nodded back and approached Benny slowly; looking around him as if they were about to deal one or the other drugs. He stood before Benny, white steam pouring from his mouth as he breathed. It was chilly that night.

"Did Caleb send yah?" Benny asked, flashing his necklace. "Or Bobby?"

"Caleb," the guy said, flashing a similar necklace. "Friend of Bobby's."

The necklaces were pentagrams, a circle etched around them with flames coming off the circle. They were called "Anti-Possession" necklaces, pendants, etc. Some people on the inside even had tattoos of them. They were called that because everything these people stood for was the opposite of the "Demons". They were the universal symbol of Hunters.

"I could only grab one," Benny pulled the fledgling from his jacket; it shivered and chirped quietly as it was passed to the skinny man. "Crowley's upped security since the break in by those other Hunters, Jo and Ellen. They got away with all the fledglings Crowley stole from them and a male Omega and his babies. It would've been too obvious if I'd grabbed more than one."

"Understandable," the skinny man nodded and held the shivering fledgling close to his chest. He smiled down at it. "Aren't you a cutie?"

"Little boy," Benny explained. "He's healthy thank God. Enough sick ones have been taken away and put down lately. I've tried to save them first, but Crowley started getting suspicious when they disappeared the first time. I already had to slow down my efforts. Now it's going to be twice as hard. Not that I blame Jo and Ellen, they're on our side, but still."

"Again I understand," the skinny man replied. "I'll come on the usual nights; if you don't have anyone for me or you aren't out here I'll leave. Simple as that. Hunters have been doing this for years at his mill and we've yet to get caught. He takes in so many angels every day he doesn't keep track of it'd be hard for him to notice when only one was missing."

"But what happens when more than one goes missing and he does notice?" Benny asked. "We'll be skinned alive for sure. Especially me. He still hasn't figured it out yet."

"We'll play it by ear," the skinny man said with confidence. "I'm new to this district. I've always picked them up over at Abbadon's Mill on the west side. Rough place, rougher than here. The girl who took over for me, Lisa Braden? She's real good."

"I see," Benny nodded, but as much as he enjoyed listening to the young man speak, if they got caught it'd be disastrous. "Listen brother I don't mean to rush you, but…"

"Gotcha," the skinny man nodded and stuffed the fledgling into his giant inner jacket pocket. All Hunters had specially made jackets on black market for their jobs. "I'll be back next week, same time."

"Alright," Benny went back to his cigarette as the younger man started to walk away. "Oh, I uh, I never got your name son?"

"My name," the skinny younger man turned back to Benny and smiled, a cloud of steam shooting up around him from the vent below. "I'm Garth Fitzgerald."

With that, he took off into the night and Benny was left alone again in the cold alleyway, smoking a cigarette and waiting for his hopefully extended, but indefinitely impending doom.

Gabriel knew it was wrong to follow him, but he couldn't help himself. Sam had tried to sneak out of the room they were all sharing quietly, but hadn't seemed to master the quietly part yet. Dean and Castiel had managed to sleep through Sam's floorboard creaking and heavy footed lumbering across the room towards the door, but Gabriel had not. He'd awoken immediately, but stayed in his bed hoping Sam wouldn't catch on that he was awake. Luckily Sam stayed oblivious and left the room without a glance in Gabriel's direction. What had actually awoken Gabriel first and foremost was the scent Sam was giving off.

Sam smelled like cherries and musk. He was clearly in heat, or at least at the tail end of it.

Gabriel loved cherries. He had tried to ignore the smell, but it was permeating through his nostrils and deep into his being. He found himself almost whining and covering his mouth to stay quiet. Sam's scent was driving him wild and he had decided to follow him. So far, Sam had led him into the dark of the night away from the pet shop and towards the more city-like part of town.

Gabriel had almost considered turning around and heading back when he found where Sam had led him to. An Alpha House, or strip club, or rather prostitution place. Whatever they were called, Gabriel had always been told they were nothing but trouble waiting to happen. Somehow though his legs didn't agree with his brain and they led him right through the front door after Sam. Once he got inside he lost sight of the Alpha through the crowds of Alphas upon Alphas ogling scantily clad Omegas up on stage and prancing around offering private shows and sessions. Gabriel almost felt like throwing up. Why was Sam here of all places?

Then he spotted him, Sam, talking to one of the dancers. She was clearly a slut of an Omega in Gabriel's opinion. She was dressed in a red bikini with fake devil horns on top of her head. She wore no devil tail, which Gabriel was glad about because it would've been horribly clichéd and twice as skanky. She had dark brown hair and brown eyes and her smile was something wicked. Gabriel had to admit that to the average Alpha she would have sex appeal, but even if he were an Alpha he wouldn't go for her. He watched as Sam handed her money and she motioned for him to follow her to the back. Gabriel, against his better judgment, followed too.

The club itself was playing some sultry song called Relax by Frankie Goes to the Hollywood, but the back rooms were slightly quieter, more intimate. There was music playing, but not club music like out in the main part of the establishment. Gabriel stayed in the shadows and watched as Sam and the girl settled into the room together, leaving the curtain halfway open.

"So Sam," she smirked and hung up Sam's jacket for him as he sat down in the chair placed in the center of the little cubicle structure resembling a changing room. "You decided to visit me again?"

"Yeah Ruby," Sam said. "I enjoyed it so much last time I came back for more."

Gabriel rolled his eyes. Sam clearly needed more practice with dirty talk and what the hell kind of name was Ruby?

"Well good I'm glad," Ruby giggled and sauntered over to Sam, sexily sitting down in his lap. "Last day of heat huh? I can smell it all over you, you horny old Alpha."

"Y-Yeah," Sam stammered as she nosed up his neck towards his ear, biting it ever so gently then leaning back and admiring him. "Last day. I-I just need something…please."

"Well," Ruby smirked bigger. "Since you asked so nicely."

Ruby's fingers making their way down to the button on Sam's pants almost made Gabriel gag. She didn't deserve to have her hands all over Sam like that. Not when it didn't mean anything. But, then again, it wasn't like Gabriel owned him as Sam had made very clear earlier that day. Her hands, her nails raking across his chest though, sparked an insatiable amount of jealousy into Gabriel that it took all his power to not bust into the room and claim Sam as his own. Ruby managed to get Sam's pants undone and she helped him pull them down to his ankles. She kissed and nipped at his neck as the bulge grew in his boxers. Sam let out a groan that almost sounded inhuman and a shiver ran down Gabriel's spine. Sam bared his teeth and bit Ruby's neck a bit roughly for Gabriel's taste, but she groaned louder than him.

"Typical slut." Gabriel scoffed.

It was in a matter of seconds Sam lost his boxers too and Gabriel about lost his ability to breathe. Sam was a lot bigger than Gabriel had imagined, a lot. His knot was just as huge. The thought of taking that, it made Gabriel shake a bit. He'd taken that at the mill constantly and it was bringing back bad flashbacks, but this was Sam. Sam wouldn't hurt him, right? Gabriel gulped when Sam bit Ruby's neck again, this time drawing a bit of blood.

"Naughty boy," Ruby teased. "Keep doing that and you won't get any attention."

"Fuck you," Sam growled primal-like, Gabriel jumped. "I came, I paid, now give me what I came for."

"Oh that's the thing big boy," Ruby stroked him gently. "You haven't actually come just yet."

Sam grunted and bucked up into his hand. His mouth fell open in ecstasy and he moaned loudly. It was sexy, Gabriel had to admit that, but this was not the Sam he knew. This Sam was a hormone crazed Alpha in heat, and even if it was the tail end of his heat, this Sam was scary. Sam leaned into her touch, her strokes, for as long as she used her hand and when she let go he almost hissed. She grabbed him by the hair and tugged ever so slightly and he gritted his teeth as she lowered herself onto him. Sam groaned again and begun thrusting into her, fast at first, but then he slowed down and closed his eyes. Gabriel knew he should've looked away, but he was almost mesmerized by how Sam's stomach clenched and unclenched, his breathing was ragged, and his face contorted in such a pleasurable way Gabriel was sure Sam was going to explode from the inside out.

"G-Gabriel…" Sam groaned out quietly, but it was still heard. Gabriel's ears perked up immediately. "Oh God you're good…"

Gabriel panicked at first, Sam had surely seen him, but the Alpha's eyes were still shut tight. Gabriel gasped. Sam was imagining screwing him!

"G-abriel…" Sam choked out, his features calmer, less tense as before. As if he'd forgotten it was Ruby and was suddenly thrust into another world. One where Gabriel was the one on top of his lap, fucking him senseless. Gabriel was almost too scared to breathe.

Ruby licked and kissed up his neck. Sucking gently at some points too. She smirked and giggled as she met Sam's thrusts, preparing herself for his knot which was close. Sam's thrusts were increasing in ferocity. Gabriel could tell he was close. He groaned and with one final thrust Gabriel watched as he knotted with Ruby and let out a long, loud, guttural, moan.

"Gabriel!" Sam cried out without even thinking. He threw his head back and breathed through the knotting process before tossing it back forward. His hair was hanging in front of his face, ruffled, and sweaty, but still just as nice as it was every day. Sam panted as his knot went down from the initial swelling and he pulled it out from inside Ruby. Ruby sat down further in his lap and kissed his cheek.

"How was that?" she asked.

"Just as great as last time," Sam chuckled, still a bit out of it. "T-Thank you."

"No problem Sam," Ruby smiled and got up from his lap, putting her bikini bottom back on. "Whoever this Gabriel guy is, he'd best get the stick out of his ass, he's missing out."

Sam hesitated, but then didn't reply. Gabriel was glad about that. The worst Sam could've done in his opinion would've been to agree with her. Gabriel was grateful that Sam knew it was better to say nothing even without him knowing Gabriel was there. Gabriel smiled to himself, thinking about what he'd just witnessed until he heard someone clear their throat and turned to face a glaring Omega in a blue bikini.

"Pervert." She scoffed.

"N-No I," Gabriel tried to defend himself, but then figured screw it, why should he have to? "I could say the same to you yah half naked broad, betcha I can't even count your STDs on two hands."

"Fuck you," the Omega huffed and started walking away. "Jerk off!"

"Bitch." Gabriel muttered and rolled his eyes.

He hid when he saw Sam leave the room with Ruby by his side. Sam was clearly sated, but he still looked as though he felt cheated. Gabriel sighed. He wanted Sam so badly, he really did, but there was a matter of his past. He'd taken knots bigger than Sam's sure, but the thought of it led to a panic attack most of the time. How could he face Sam if he ruined their special moment with a damn panic attack? He shook his head to gather his thoughts and watched as Sam exited the club. Gabriel quickly followed back into the dark recesses of the night and staying one silent step behind Sam at all times, Gabriel made it back to the pet shop and Sam was none the wiser.

Reviews are always appreciated!

So? Gabriel witnesses Sam's dirty little secret? Will he be able to keep his mouth shut or will the truth come out?

And there's Hunters on the inside of Crowley's mill, will Benny be discovered?

And what's to come of rescuing the other fledglings?

More to come soon guys!
