Finally! I updated at last! I'm so sorry that it took me so long to update this story but don't worry I'll try my best to update the other chapters as soon as they are finish. I was so busy in school stuff that it almost took all my free time to write. I hope you will like this chapter and also the next chapter will be updated the day after. Also I'll apologize ahead if ever you find some grammar errors and such, i'm sorry about those.

Chapter 11: "Save Me"
Mai's P.O.V.
The room feels so much colder than the room that he had taken me a while ago. It just happen that he knew that Akashi can easily track me if we stay in that room, since Akashi himself is an omnyouji. Which means he is powerful enough to defeat him nor to easily get me away from him. I just hope that this angry spirit won't do anything to me specially hours from now, evening will fall and that will be a queue for him to do his real intention to me. If that time comes, who knows what will happen to me since with me being weak right now won't even stand a chance to him even if he just a spirit. I know that even if my psychic power or ESP is much strong now than before, it won't affect him, not to a monster like him. I know that he only seeks to have a child or rather see the face of his own child this time but still it isn't right for me to be the one to conceive his child nor be the mother of it. I tried sleeping a while ago but it seems that he block my ESP so that I won't be able to communicate to the outside world especially to Akashi. But it is not only my ESP that I can use to communicate with him since the two of us was able to train a lot of times on how to communicate with each other even without depending on our abilities. I close my eyes and concentrate all of my thought unto my room imagining its look. By the time i open my eyes again, there he is, akashi is sitting in my bed eyes closed.
"akashi…" i call out unto him and he then open his eyes.
"mai...finally…" he said while having a relief look.
"he is blocking me…"
"I know...that is why i need you to know his intentions, they are all watching this...that camera is active thou they won't see you." he said while pointing at the camera that is still in my room.
"i know...they can still hear me right?"
"yes they can...now...tell me what is it that he is trying to do to you?" he asked
"he wants me to bear his child, he lost his child when the woman who is carrying his child aborted it"
"is that woman here too? i can sense two spirits here...one is unknown and the other is a woman, is that the spirit of that woman?"
"yes, you can ask for her help...she can lead you to where i am, i was able to sense her awhile ago."
"i see but how many hour do we need before its too late?"
"he said 'before the moon arises i will leave you here and let you ready yourself for us to be one' so i think before night falls you must find me or else he will do what he wants to me"
"hmnn...right now its 4 pm so we somehow have 2 or 3 hours before night falls"
"yes.." i said and this is the time when i can feel the tired
"mai...i want you to be careful and be alert while we try to find you, we will be there before night"
"akashi...please my eyesight might be back for now but i can't do anything with my legs, it feels like he bound it with something so that i won't be able to run"
"hmnn...did he hurt you?"
"besides to my legs and my eyesight before he got me...no...but i'm afraid he might hurt me eventually"
"i won't let him ...we will come and get you...i promise...you know i don't break my promises right?"
"yeah, i know...then….Naru, i know you can hear me...i want to tell you that i'm safe, for now i think...please go with akashi if you want to find me too...john and ayako, please stay with my family but akashi place a barrier with them, a powerful one to protect them even when you are gone. then the rest can come with you"
"but...i can just go and save you alone…"
"no you can't, he's way too powerful for you to handle alone, you need everyone's help"
"alright, i understand.." he said. I saw he held out his hand and tried to reach my face but as he thought it's impossible. "*sigh* i thought i could at least touch your face but as i thought its impossible...anyway, we'll come and save you, i promise that"
"thank you, i'll wait for all of you to come" and with that i once again close my eyes and by the time i open them, i'm back to my own body and of course to the room that i am being kept by that spirit. and now the only thing that i could do now is to wait for them to save me.
Akashi's P.O.V.
I just finish talking to mai and as i open my eyes, she's gone or more like a visible appearance is no longer around, that means that we need to go and find her fast. I get up immediately and leave the room of mai. I went straight to the base of SPR as to what okuda calls it and when i enter the room they are all in front of a bunch of screens including the screen in which shows the room of mai, I also saw the brother or more likely the cousin of mai with his lover behind him.
"akashi, we heard mari from here but i think you saw her right?" asked okuda
"yes, i did"i answered.
"so how's mai?" asked yuu-san, the brother of mai who is now with his lover's side
"she's fine but her legs are still bound by that spirit but her eyesight is back, also she's no long wearing anythig beside her underwear"
"WHAAT!? I'M GONNA KILL THAT SPIRIT" shouted the man with a brown hair like mai
"BAKABOU! he's a spirit already so you can't kill him anymore!" shouted the woman with a red hair.
"now now, please calm down you two" said a young guy with a blond hair. this is making me a confuse since i don't know their name.
"we heard mai's orders a while ago so we need to split up and do what she told us" said shibuya-san
"yes we do, but first we need to summon the spirit of that woman so that we can easily find her" i said
"then i can help you with that" said a girl in a kimono
"you are a medium?"
"yes, i am, my name is hara masako"
"ok, nice to meet you, first, sorry for my late introduction, my name is abe no akashi, i need to know everyone first and also your abilities too, oh! of course i know mai's family so that only applies to your team shibuya-san"
"then, i'll start introducing everyone, my name is Housho Takigawa and this is my wife Takigawa Ayako, i'm a trained monk while my wife was a trained miko at the same time a doctor in their family hospital, then this is john brown, he is a priest.." said takigawa-san but before he continue i stop him
"wait, brown-san, you are a priest?" i asked
"hai" answered brown-san
"are you allowed to exorcist? rather who are those allowed do exorcism?" this time asked in general"
"well, i am allowed to do it and i think bou-san and ayako-san can also do it" answered brown-san
"bou-san?" i asked in confusion.
"thats me, actually, its more like my nickname and everyone calls me that, you can also call me bou if you want" said takigawa-san
"Ok, thanks, so who are others?"
"Let me be the one to introduce them to you akashi, this is professor martin and luella davis, they are the parents of oliver davis which is also known as shibuya kazuya they also work in SPR in london and they are both researcher, then that man sitting over there at the computer is lin koujo, he is a chinese, he has a shiki and also capable in some other things then i think one of the researcher of oliver's team is called yasuhara who is now doing his research outside the house he is with his lover and lin's wife too whose name is lin madoka, a researcher too" said okuda and with that i finally know everyone and their abilities of field too.
"Ok, now that i know everyone, lets start what we need to do, hara-san i want you to call out the spirit of that woman so that she can give us the location of mai, after that we will immediately proceed for the search, john and ayako-san, as to what mai told us, both of you will stay in here and protect her family while the rest of you will go with me i think the researchers will stay here too will that be alright to with proffessor? " i asked the parents of mr. shibuya
"of course, we don't want to be a burden to you so we will wait here" said mr. davis
"thank you, also i want everyone who will be left behind here in this room to get whatever it is that you need like food, water blanket and other things that is not in this room cause i will be leaving a barrier here with you and once i leave the premises of my barrier you can no longer leave the room, yuu-san, those this room have a bathroom?" i asked yuu-san
"yes" he answered
"very well, go and get the thing that you need while we do the ritual, are you ready hara-san?"
"By the way, hara-san i already prepared the candle over there so we can start now, we can't waste anytime" said okuda
"thank you okuda-san and yes, i am ready abe-san, but who will be in the circle with me?" she asked while now siting on the floor with the candle in the middle.
"that would be me, okuda, shibuya-san, bou-san and lin-san" i said
"lin, come here you are needed in the circle" said shibuya-san to lin-san who is still in sitted infront of the computer watching over them while typing something. Lin-san didn't say anything and just sit with us in the floor.
"now, if anything happens i will come to aid, that is why you must be in complete concentration hara-san"
"wait, masako is a professional medium so i know she won't lose concentration" said mrs. davis
"even professionals do some mistake, and i can predict that she might go wrong into something"
"are you saying that masako will lose concentration huh! oh please, you may be an omyouji but its impossible to predict what will happen in the future!" shouted mrs. davis to me and that gave me a shock, i think she favors hara-san that is why she has high expectation on her.
"if you don't want to believe me its up to you but one thing is for sure as of this moment" i said in a calm manner.
"what is it?" she asked
"that is, i don't have time to argue right now mrs. davis and i don't care if you favors hara-san, saving mai is much important than to argue with you, now lets start we only have a limited time to search for mai or else that angry spirit will get his hands on her in no time"
"very well, lets start, i need silence here so i request everyone to be quiet until its over" said hara-san. we started doing the ritual and hara-san was successful in summoning the spirit and she is now posses by her.
"what is your name?" i asked
"my name is isabelle" she answered
"i know, you know that the man in this house kidnap our friend, will you tell us where is she? she told me that you will be able to help us find her"
"yes, that is right, she now in being kept underground"
"underground?"
"yes, during my time, he created a secret underground room and that is where he sometimes takes me in order to violate me anytime he want without anyone disturbing us"
"would you tell us where we could found that underground room"
"of course but first you need to know how to distract him, right now he didn't notice that i came to your help but eventually he will know it, so you need a way to distract his spirit and make yourself unnoticable"
"if that's the problem then its already solve, i want to ask three of your shiki lin-san to serve as a distraction to that man while i will make a protetive charm to make us unnoticable if its not enough, okuda make some charms that will protect us if ever he attacts us" i said. and lin-san only nod as a sign that he agrees to my decision
"very well, you will find a map in the drawer of mai which is also my room at that time, i can no longer go in there because of the barrier you place, that map will lead you to where she is, its located at a small box in the lower drawer of mai's clothings"
"thank you, isabelle-san"
"I only want him to stop what he is doing, so many innocent people have suffered because of him, so please stop him and bring us to peace"
"of course, we will do that"
"also tell mai that i'm sorry that if its not because she won't be suffereing too"
"you don't have to worry about that isabell-san, i know mari want to give you peace that is why she will gladly forgive you"
"thank you"
"thank you too" i said and with that we ended the ritual but before i could stand up, hara-san grip my hand so hard and faced me. which i think she is not hara-san
"YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET HER FROM ME! SHE WILL BE MINE TONIGHT! SHE WILL BE THE MOTHER OF MY CHILD! HAHAHAHAHA!" said the man voice spirit which i think the one behind all of mai's sufferings. he has her and she is in danger, we need to hurry up and find her quick. I immediately did a prayer to take the spirit out of hara-san.
"are you alright hara-san?" I asked
"yes, i am, thank you, i never thought that he will appear and overtake her"she said as i help her to stand and guide her to the sit of the professors.
"i know but with that is my abilities clear to you now mrs. davis?" i asked while looking at her.
"but...how? until now no one could do that" she said while looking so shock of what happened.
"mai can do it too" said okuda
"what?"
"she can predict what will happen next and with an esp i think the two of them trained so hard to do so"
"i see...i'm sorry about the actions of my wife a while ago, she just like hara-san a lot that cause her to shout at you" said mr. davis.
"it's alright but if i were you, i would at least listen first before you react in everything, you are a professors to begin with, while mai on the other hand is a president of some company that her parents handle so please make an understanding to it"
"i understand, i...i just...got carried away"said mrs. davis
"i'm sorry, i too also got carried away, mai means to me a lot that is why we need to save her fast" I said and with that i ended our discussion. And Since those who are going to stay here at the base had gone out to get the things that they need, i started to place a barrier so that when they got back we can leave immediately.
"we're back!" said ayako-san who just got back along with the others who go with her to get something outside the room. I saw in their hands that they have a lot of foods, drinks, some blankets and clothes.
"good, lets wait for akashi to finish placing barrier here to protect all of you even if he isn't around" said okuda. minutes later i finish placing the barrier and faced okuda.
"we need to go back to mai's room and get that map so that we can easily locate her" i said
"right, then i think we need to bring some materials too since its an underground room so we might dig or need some flashlight" said okuda
"uhmnn...those things can be found outside our house, there a small shed and that's where we place those kind of materials but the flashlight can be found anywhere within the house" said yuu-san
"then, lets divide the team into two, shibuya-san, lin-san, and bou-san go and look for the necesarry materials into the shed that yuu-san is talking about while me and okuda will be looking for some flashlight and also we'll get the map in mai's room" i said
"ok, we'll just meet where?"" asked bou-san
"we'll just meet you outside or do you want to meet in the living room?" i asked
"no, let's just meet outside, maybe at the front to be specific"
"ok, well then everyone, no one is allowed go out of this room or even open the door after we leave, i'll leave one of my shikigami outside the room to guard you, but if anyone of you go outside, my shikigami won't be able to protect you, so better stay inside, understood?" i said to everyone who will be staying inside the room.
"we understand, i hope you will be able to find mai-san" said mr. davis
"we'll be going the, oh! hara-san will be staying here too since she need to rest, hara-san thank you for your help awhile ago" i said to hara-san who is now sitting at the couch with mrs. davis.
"please don't mention it" she said and with that we left the room and go to our sperate ways to do what we need to do. Okuda and i had gone to mai's room first to look for the map, since the room is still being covered with barrier isabelle can't go in, that is why she only told us where we could find it. We both go to the closet of mai and start our search. Okuda saw a drawer that consist 5 drawers and he then open the last one and saw a small box.
"akashi!" he called me
"what? did you found it?" i said as i approach him and saw the small box in his hand
"that's it"
"yeah, lets see what's inside this" said okuda and he began opening the box which contains some materials, a small notebook, a pregnancy test, a pen, and a paper under all of it. okuda get the paper under and open it wide.
"this is it, its the map to the underground room of this house" he said and showed me the map which is really a detailed map. it has every nook of the path towards the room and some written details in it.
"we need to go and get mai now that we have this" i said
"wait, akashi there are some flashlight here too" said okuda who found three flashlight and all of it are working.
"good, lets find two more then get going" i said as we get out of the room and go to the next room to search for more flashlight and we didn't fail to find two of it.
"we got all five flashlight now, lets go outside and meet the others" said okuda
"right, we need to hurry, it's almost 5:30, we only need 30 mins. to 0ne hour to find mai" i said we run outside to find the others already waiting outside the door.
"good, everyone's here, we need to go now, we only have limited time left" said okuda
"then, where do we go?" asked bou-san
"hmnn...this way, follow me" i said and lead the way while looking at the map that has the direction towards that underground room. at the end of the path we found a dead end and i began to read some small writting in it and discover that we must move the door upward so that we can go inside the underground location. we look for door but failed to find it.
"i think we need to dig some in this location" said shibuya-san
"right, we might find that door" said bou-san and began digging and to our shock there it is the door that we are looking for. we lift it up and found a stairs inside, its so dark in it and that means that we need to go inside to find mai. Lin-san lead the way in while shibuya-san follow and then me, okuda and lastly bou-san who first place a rock to the door so that it won't fall. the place is so cold and i can imagine mai already feeling the coldness of this place. i told okuda that i need to concentrate in finding mai here and he must hold my hand while walking cause i will be closing my eyes to try locating mai. Okuda now walks ahead of me and i let him hold my hand while i close my eyes and concentrate, calling out the name of mai in my mind, hoping that she will answer. It seems that she is still being block and it also seems that both my charm and okuda's are doing some effect of not letting us go notice by him.
"mai…"i said. and finally i heard her calling
"Akashi!" she called in my mind. knowing that she is really in this place i immediately run forward and let go of okuda's hand. ahead of us is a door but it seems that its locked from inside.
"its locked...how are we going to open this thing?" asked bou-san
"hmn...shibuya-san...i know that you can use pk, so please open that door" i said facing shibuya-san
"wait, naru's pk is much powerful than you can imagine also he can't just use it any time he want to" protested lin-san
"you don't have to worry if you think you will feel weak immediately cause i can sense that mai place a charm you without knowing it so that she can share some of her power to in order to use your pk even for a while"
"i see, then i'll do it" said shibuya-san and began using his pk to open the door and it opened. by the time the door opened, we saw the whole room in pitch black. i walk and notice a liquid on the floor, i pint down the flashlight in order to see what is that liquid on the floor. To my shock its blood, the blood is coming in only one direction. we followed it and in the very end of the path, there she is, mai is protecting herself with a barrier around her.
"mai…" i said, her leg is bleeding and so as her left arm.
"MAI!" shouted bou-san and suddenly run into her but it seems like something like a square figure that was blocking us to get to her and its like mai is inside it too.
"no, don't go come near me please, i don't want you to get hurt" said mai who is now facing us with a teary eyes. i notice a black presence inside the square figure.
"Mai, i'll get you out of there just be strong please! don't give up!" i shouted.
"Lin, do you find any opening for us to exorcist that spirit?" asked shibuya-san
"i'm afraid, i don't but i think we need to hurry up cause he is getting near her" said lin-san
"akashi, we need to get him away from mai or else…" said okuda
"i know but we also need to be careful" i said while thinking of how we can save mai.
"akashi...use the ritual…" said mai
"no, i won't, i promise that i will get you out of there without using the ritual…"
"but…"
"NO! Your condition right now is worse than the last time, your life could be in danger for sure"
"i know but we need to hurry up and finish him" said mai
" I know but i won't sacrifice you just to finish this case off"
"No, akashi, i want you to end this...please, its the only way i can see in order to stop all of this...please akashi, i can't hold out any longer...please akashi, i know you won't let bad things happen to me"
"argh...fine, but i'll need their help to prevent on hurting you any further so i want all of you to focus all of your energy to him and try to bind him, okuda do the same and bind him, i'll prepare the ritual while lin-san go to that side and be a support then bou-san will be on the other side opposite to lin-san, lastly shibuya-san, try going to where mai is and be her support at the back" i said. after giving orders to them i started to prepare the ritual, drawing it with a chalk that i always bring in case of emergency.
"akashi-san, i thought you said that you won't use this ritual" asked shibuya-san who is now standing at the back of mai.
"well...as you can see, we got no choice but to do this and mai insisted too"
"but you said that this ritual needs a sacrifice and right now, mai is the sacrifice"
"i know that, but the situation is way too much to handle by an ordinary exorcism or ritual, this ritual may be dangerouse but now i can see why mai insisted on letting you go with me, and that is for you to support me in this ritual, by doing so we could lessen the burned the sacrifice will get" i said
"ARGHH! I WON'T LET YOU DO THIS TO ME! SHE IS MINE!" shouted the angry spirit and since the binding was strong enough to hold him up that he wasn't able to hurt any of us exept mai. We saw that a visible blade hit mai in her right shoulder and started bleeding. I started to think that this isn't good cause it will be much difficult to lessen the burden on mai's part if she continiously gets hurt by that spirit. I need to end this once and for all.
