Character: Oritel Prompt: Daughter
A life.
Something so small and fragile,
And still, the greatest miracle anyone could witness.
A moment, an instant of change.
His definition of perfect,
Was written when she was born.
When he saw her for the first time.
A feeling of love,
Love like he'd never experienced before.
A bright light filling his life.
Her tiny hand in his large one,
Holding tight.
His gentle brown eyes met hers,
Bright and golden and full of wonder.
In that moment,
He saw the future.
Their future pouring out before them,
A beautifully blank page.
So many things to see, with so little time.
All the things he would show her,
All the things they would learn.
How blessed he was to have her,
To love her as his own.
When he looked at her, he saw his wife,
A beautiful bundle of grace,
Pure and innocent.
All of this in an instant.
The instant he laid eyes on his daughter.
His first child.
Daphne.
In that moment, he was changed forever.
There she was before him.
His definition of perfect.
