Pink is Back - Chapter 13
The 11 warriors stood on the island undetected, at least for now. They crept past the numerous trees and shrubs, scanning any and all areas for signs of trouble. Then they stopped, as they began to prepare themselves for the fight of their lives.
"This is almost too easy," T.J. said, as he sat down to rest.
"Tell me about it, we haven't seen one bone head all day," Ethan replied. A smirk crept across Kira's face as Ethan finished speaking, and all eyes went on her. "What's wrong Kira?"
"Nothing, it's just we have seen plenty of bone heads at this point... unfortunately you and Conner are on our side," Kira deadpanned. The rest of the group snickered as Ethan and Conner just glared at Kira.
"Watch it Kira, because I know you don't want to hear the Trent jokes," Conner fired back, making Kira silence herself and then put her head down at the mention of her boyfriend.
"All I want is to live through this so that I can see him again," Kira replied. Kim and Tommy looked at each other and smiled, they knew the exact feelings Kira was feeling, they went through the same thing throughout high school, not to mention they still felt that now. They wanted to survive so they could just stay together, so they could be the perfect couple they had pictured, the perfect couple that everyone had pictured. The two of them were staring into each other's eyes, when a familiar voice interrupted them.
"Umm... guys, I know you, well, I know... oh hell, we have to start our plan before they know we're here," Jason said to the lovebirds. The two finally began to stand up, blushing a little because they knew they were the ones not paying attention. Andros finally broke the silence.
"Ok, space rangers, take these detonators, place them around the island at a set time of five minutes. When you guys get back, I'll activate them with this remote, and when the explosion occurs, we get out of sight until the tyrannodrones reveal themselves." T.J., Carlos, Cassie, and Ashley then took the detonators and left, leaving the Dino rangers and Andros there. "So far so good."
"Wait, Dr. O, what's next?" Conner asked.
"The space rangers will surprise them from behind by using their gliders, and when they are distracted, you, Ethan, and Kira will come in and aid them." Tommy then paced a little before stating the next part of the plan. "That's when Jason, Kim, and myself will all go in and face Mesogog, we'll take the wand, and hopefully, we will be able to turn all of them back into their normal beings." The three teens shook their heads, but then, they heard running through the woods, and they saw the space rangers running towards them.
"What's wrong?" Andros asked a bit anxiously, knowing something was up.
"Tyrannodrones, a lot of them, and they're extremely ticked off," Carlos said, nearly out of breath.
"Dino Thunder rangers, get back, stick to the pla..." Before Tommy could finish, Zeltrax ambushed him from behind, knocking the wand out of his hands, before any ranger could get it, a tyrannodrone picked it up and then disappeared into a invisi-portal. "NO!"
"Foolish humans, you thought you could outsmart my master," Zeltrax hissed. "Now we have the wizards wand, and you will be incapable to stop us!"
"That's what you think!" Kim shouted. "Ready!"
"Dino Thunder, Power UP!"
"LET'S ROCKET!"
The 11 rangers stood side by side as they saw the threat ahead of them, hundreds of tyrannodrones standing in front of them, as they saw their plan ruined in an instant.
"They knew what we were doing all along, but how?" Ethan asked.
"I can explain that," a voice said, the owner standing in back of the tyrannodrones.
"Show yourself!" Kira shouted.
"Whatever you say, my love." Trent then walked in front of all the tyrannodrones, showing he had been working for Mesogog all this time. "Do you think I would ever betray my father, the man who has looked out for me since he adopted me!"
"Why, Trent, I thought you loved me!" Kira cried.
"I do, but my ties to my father are stronger, and therefore, I must destroy you... oh, and now I have something that you can't stop, something that Dr. Oliver is very... familiar with." Trent held up an old school power morpher, which contained the dragonzord power coin.
"So, what's your point, that coin's power was depleted years ago!" Tommy said.
"You forget, Mesogog has a lot of time on his hands, he was able to infuse an unlimited amount of energy into the coin from some of his experiments... now, where was I, oh yeah... It's morphin time, DRAGONZORD!" Trent morphed into the green ranger, as he and Zeltrax led the tyrannodrones closer to the 11 rangers.
"Well, we came this far, let's take these guys down!" Kira shouted, as the 11 charged at the mass of tyrannodrones. The rangers were doing well, they were fighting as hard as they could, taking down tyrannodrone after tyrannodrone, but with Zeltrax and the new Green ranger, not to mention the still large amount of tyrannodrones, they became tired very quickly. Trent used his dragon dagger to take out Conner and Ethan, and they could barely get up. The 11 finally were back united, looking at the insignificance of their fighting thus far.
"Man, if we take out 20 of them, another 40 appear," Cassie exclaimed.
"I know, this is ridiculous, we can't take much more of this," Ashley agreed.
"Of course you can't, we are far superior to any power rangers!" Trent exclaimed.
"I guess then you won't mind if a few more veteran rangers join the fray then," a voice shouted from up at the mountains.
"All right, the distress signal worked!" Jason shouted, as they saw Zack, Aisha, Kat, Tanya, Rocky, Adam, Cole, Carter, Wes, and Eric on top ready to morph into action.
"It's morphin time!"
"Mastadon!"
"Sabre-toothed Tiger!"
"Zeo Ranger One, Pink!" "Zeo Ranger Two, Yellow!" "Zeo Ranger Three, Blue!" "Zeo Ranger Four, Green!"
"Wild Access!"
"Lightspeed, RESCUE!"
"Time for, TIME FORCE!"
"Quantum Power!"
The ten veteran rangers came down and joined the fight, as they proved a much better fighting force than before. "Man, it's definitely great to have you back man," Jason said as he patted his buddy Zack on the shoulder.
"No time to talk now, Alpha told us the plans, we'll keep em busy for now, just get down to that creep's lab and do what you need to do," the 1st black ranger replied. Jason then went over to Kim and Tommy, and told them what Zack had just told them to do. They agreed, and left the other rangers to find Mesogog, and the wand.
"Where do they think they're going?" Zeltrax thought, but as he went to catch up with them, he was blasted by Zack's blade blaster.
"Hey, you big metal freak, if you wanna mess with them, then you're going to have to deal with the original black ranger first pal."
"Fine, you want to play, then I'll play..." Zeltrax hissed, as he blocked a swipe of Zack's power axe, and then struck him with his own sword. In the distance, Aisha, Kat, Tanya, Rocky, and Adam were fighting Trent, but to no avail.
"Man, I heard stories about the evil green ranger, but I never thought we would have this much trouble," Rocky said.
"Tell me about it, you would think that those ranger powers would have existed forever!" Adam replied.
"I am the ultimate ranger you fools... and now you will find that out the hard way!" Trent shouted, as he charged again, but this time was slashed in the chest, first by Aisha's power daggers, and then by Kat's Zeo Shield.
"Hey man, don't you know that evil never wins, I should know, considering I was evil," Kat explained. The five of them continued to fight Trent, as all of the other rangers fought the tyrannodrones. They were doing considerably well, many of the tyrannodrones had either been destroyed, or were weakening. However, Zack was having no such luck with Zeltrax.
"Black ranger, you have not even been a challenge for me, you should be ashamed that you are even a ranger," Zeltrax hissed.
"Say what you want, you will not win!" Zack screamed, as he readied to attack, only to swipe at empty space... Zeltrax teleported back to the lab.
*Mesogog's Lab*
"Man, we really need to find that wand, and fast," Kim said to the others.
"Yeah, this needs to end, here and now," Tommy replied.
"For once, you agree with me Dr. Oliver," Mesogog said, revealing himself through a doorway. "However, the only thing that can stop me, is the very object that I have in my hands." Mesogog then showed them the wand, the very wand that they needed to revert Mesogog, Elsa, and Zeltrax into their normal forms.
"All right, Kim, you take Elsa, Jase, you take Zeltrax... I want Mesogog." The three squared off with their respective opponents, staring them down, knowing the heavy task that was presented in front of them. The three then charged at their enemies, starting the fight of their lives. Kim was able to fight off Elsa for a while, as she used her special dino power to deflect anything that she sent at her. Jason was also taking care of business, using his ranger powers to beat on Zeltrax. Mesogog however was a different story. Tommy was doing all he could to get to the wand, but was having little success, as Mesogog continued to shoot energy beams from the wand at Tommy.
"Man, I can't get close to him, I don't know what to do," Tommy said to himself. However, before he could think of a plan, Mesogog fired again, hitting Tommy square in the chest. The blow sent Tommy back into the main controls, and a large ringing sound pierced the air.
"Warning, computer malfunction, electrical overload, island self-destruction in 10 minutes." The computer then automatically shut off, as system after system began blowing up.
"Time for you to die Oliver, Trent, return to destroy the black ranger!" Mesogog hissed as Trent appeared in front of Tommy.
"It's time, time for the student to surpass the master, Dr. Oliver," Trent said, as he crept closer to Tommy.
"You'll never win Trent, as long as the Power Rangers are here, evil will never win!"
"I am a ranger! And now you and your friends will be unable to stop my father and I, we are invincible!" Trent then lunged forward at Tommy, only to be blocked and sent backwards by an airborne Elsa and Zeltrax, Trent was pinned under their unconscious bodies, unable to move.
"Trent! You fools, I shall make you pay!" Mesogog hissed. He then looked to see only the White and Pink Ranger standing before him, but no black ranger. "Where is Dr. Oliver!" All of a sudden, Mesogog fell to the ground, and the wand left his hand and floated in the air. Then, Tommy reappeared with wand in hand.
"Whoa, how'd you do that?" Jason asked.
"I just demorphed and used my special dino power, that's all." Tommy responded. "Now, time to get all these guys back to normal." With that said, Tommy pointed the wand at the four villains, and used its energy to try and turn them back to normal. Then, a white light flashed, and blinded all of those who were in the room. When the light cleared, the three rangers stood there to see four incapacitated humans in front of them: Terence Smith, Principal Randall, Anton Mercer, and Trent.
"Come on guys, let's get them out of here before the place blows!" Kim yelled.
Outside, the battle had been raging, when suddenly, all of the tyrannodrones up and disappeared.
"That was weird, those things just vanished," Carter said with a puzzled look.
"Hey man, as a ranger, nothing is weird," Adam replied.
"Oh, I hope Jason, Tommy, and Kim are ok," Kat said to the group. They all nodded, and then Zack stepped forward.
"If I know any three people that can make it out of any situation, it's those three." However, as soon as he said that, a huge explosion came from the laboratory.
"Oh no," Cole stood there in shock, he couldn't believe that the first two red rangers could possibly be dead.
"Everything will be all right... I know it will," Kira reassured him, standing confident next to the former wild force red ranger. What came next, was silence, they heard nothing from there for nearly an hour.
"I'm getting really worried right now, they should have been back by now!" Aisha exclaimed, while she was pacing back and forth.
"Come on Aisha, they've been in tight spots before, we just have to keep the faith," Tanya said, hoping Aisha would regain confidence to be a good role model in front of the newest rangers. When all of the rangers started doubting their friends' return, they started hearing footsteps in the direction of where the explosion was. The rangers, past and present, looked up to see Jason, Tommy, and Kim carrying and dragging the four former villains.
"Oh man, you guys were awesome!" Rocky shouted.
"Just doing our jobs, right guys?" Jason said, as the group began to laugh. The laughter began to wake up the four villains, and they began to try and stand up.
"Hey, Smitty, I don't think you want to try that alone just yet," Tommy said as he went to his old friend's need.
"Tommy, what happened, I remember fighting you, and that's it."
"You were under a spell, all of you were trying to bring back the age of the dinosaurs," Jason explained.
"Man, what've we done?" Trent asked.
"Nothing that can't be fixed, Trent," Kira replied. Trent couldn't bring himself to look at Kira, until Kira forced him to.
"Kira, you mean that?" Trent asked.
"Of course, what kind of girlfriend would I be if I dumped you because you were under a spell?" Kira asked sarcastically. The whole group laughed, and then began walking near the invisi-portal, talking about old times.
"Remember how Trent froze me into that amber, that was fun," Tommy said.
"What about the time we all got our minds scrambled by that weird kaleidoscope monster, and Bulk and Skull saved us?" Adam reminded them.
"The best was definitely the forever red mission, that was awesome!" Cole exclaimed.
"Wait, wait, wait... did I ever tell you about the time, when we were baked in a giant pizza..."
*Angel Grove Park, Overlooking the lake*
Kim sat at Angel Grove Park, looking around her, the sight giving her very fond memories of her days as a ranger, along with her times with Tommy. She looked down to read the note that Tommy gave her.
Kim-
We need to talk, and I figured it would be best if we did it in a place
that we were both familiar with. Meet me at Angel Grove Park near
the lake at 1:00.

"Man, Tommy is 20 minutes late, and here I thought he got better with time management." Kim smiled to herself on the outside, but was trembling on the inside. She had no idea what was about to happen, yea, they still needed to talk about their relationship, and they needed to figure out what would happen to them as rangers since they were no longer needed. But why drive over an hour just to talk? "Man, he really knows how to get me worried."
"Good to know that I still make you worry about things," Tommy said, as he walked up to Kim. "Sorry I'm late," he said after he gave Kim a peck on the cheek.
"It's ok, just got a little worried, that's all." Kim tried to compose herself, but Tommy noticed that she was shaking a little.
"Obviously you were more than a little worried if you're shaking this much," Tommy replied, and then smiled as her.
"Well, I mean, I don't understand, why did we drive all the way out here when we could have talked at Reefside?"
"Well, I wanted to bring you here to remember all the good times that we shared here, all the bad times, everything." Tommy began to search his pocket for the little black box he had with his hand. "Even when I came here to grieve when you broke up with me, this place has always been special to me. And the reason why this place is special is because it marks my most memorable moments with you. Kim, you're everything to me, I would give up everything I've ever had just to be with you, and this is why I needed you here, because I need to ask something." Kim started crying in the remembrance of everything Tommy said, and Tommy then took out the little black box, and opened it to reveal a beautiful diamond ring, with the diamond surrounded by pink, green, red, and black gemstones. "Kimberly Anne Hart, will you marry me?"
"Yes," Kim whispered. She looked at the ring with wonder as Tommy slid it on her finger. As she pondered it, a grin grew on her face.
"What is it Kim?" Tommy asked.
"So does Jason already know his best man speech?"
