Well, this chapter has taking a long time to write, but I got it done. Had some trouble, like the duel going a little down south were it should've been, but it got fixed and would love to thank for the duel and the new cards some of the characters would use.

It has been a week since the duel between Sonic and Alex was decided with Sonic the winner. Former Council of Acorn member, Hamlin Pig, tried to send Alex to jail after the duel, but was halted by the current king of New Mobotropolis, King Elias Acorn. Everyone in New Mobotropolis are now liking and getting used to Duel Monster game, either playing it with Duel Disk or old fashion table top. Alex Loredo, the newest member of the Freedom Fighters, has been teaching some kids about the game during his free time.

"Go Zubaba General!" yelled a male 13-year-old brown bear Mobian with green eyes, wearing a standard colored D-Gazer as a heavily armored white knight with a red cape on his shoulder stood behind the young Mobian.

"Attack Fairy Cheer Girl!" ordered the young bear Mobian as he pointed towards a 15-year-old blue-haired girl with fair skin, red eyes, light blue and purple butterfly wings, wearing a light blue, purple, and green cheerleader outfit. Behind the cheerleader fairy was a 12-year-old female orange cat Mobian with pink eyes, wearing a white shirt, pink vest, and white skirt as she also had a standard colored D-Gazer and Duel Disk on.

"No, Fairy Cheer Girl! Aaaahhh!" cried the cat Mobian as she fell to her knees, losing the duel.

The A.R. Field disappeared as the young bear Mobian was jumping for joy that he won his first duel, as the young cat Mobian sighed in defeat. The bear Mobian saw this and walked towards her. He then held out his hand to the sad Mobian, "Nice game, hope we can duel again in the near future." Complintmented the bear as he gave a smile to the girl.
The young cat looked up to see the kind smile from the young bear, she then got up and shook his hand and gave a smile as well, "Thanks, me too." She said until the two heard someone clapping.
"Nice job you two," called a voice. The kids turned their heads to see Alex Loredo, who was sitting on a chai while clapping his hands then stopped, as he stood up to reveal to be in a classroom with other Mobian children, "the both of you played a great game, nice job." Complintmented the human as he walked up to the pair, "wouldn't you agree Mrs. Turtle?"
"Yes Mr. Loredo," answered a female green turtle Mobian wearing a grey teacher suit, with a kind smile on her face, "and thank you again for coming and teaching the class about the game."
"No problem, it's nice to see some young kids trying something new." Said Alex as he took a look as the school clock, which read 10: 50 A.M., "Well I better get going, this is all the time I have for your class Mrs. Turtle."
"That's quite all right Mr. Loredo," said Mrs. Turtle as she opened her eyes, to reveal caring light blue eyes, and gave the human a kind smile, "and thank you again for coming to teach the card game to my students."
"Thank you Mr. Loredo!" cried out the other students as they waved goodbye to Alex.
Alex smiled as he waved back to the class, "No problem, and keep on studying." then left the classroom as he begin to walk down the hall, with a smile on his face, "Those kids got a bright future ahead of them."
(Location Change - New Mobotropolis - Coliseum)
A concert stage was being set up in the coliseum as many Mobians were bringing in speakers, instruments, microphones, and other things. All over the city, there were posters that said "Mina Mongoose & the Forget-Me-Knots concert, Tickets: Sold Out!"
Inside a dressing room, a 16-year-old female yellow mongoose Mobian with long wavey purple hair, green eyes, wearing a black and purple tank top and skirt, purple and green boots, and white gloves with green and gun-metal black gauntlets on the cuffs. Her ears had several piercings and adorned with silver hoops. This was Mina Mongoose as she was looking through a song sheet that she and her manager/boyfriend, Ash Mongoose, made to sing for the concert in two days. When she and her band met Alex, they asked him about what little of music he knows, which got the mongoose Mobian to ask Alex if he would like to sing one song at her concert, as the human answered yes and choose one specific song he had in mind.
"Man, I'm so nervous, a sold out concert, singing to everyone in New Mobotropolis," said Mina as she put down the song sheet and saw another song sheet, that had her's and Alex's name on it, "Hope everyone likes the song that Alex had chosen..."
"Excuse me," asked a voice, which startled Mina as she turned around to see a blue-gray bat Mobian that had a creepy smile on his face, "are you Mina Mongoose?"
"Yes I am," answered Mina as she looked at the mysterious bat Mobian with a questionable look on her face, "I'm sorry, but you can't be here, unless you have a backstage pass for the concert, you must leave."
"Don't worry," reassured the bat Mobian as he pulled out a Duel Monster card from his pant's pocket, "All I ask for your autograph on this card." Revealing the card to be Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force, as the card glowed red.
As Mina stared at the card for a few minutes, she gained a red aura and her eyes dulled. The strange Barian Emblem formed on the mongoose Mobian's forehead as Mina said in a monotone voice, "For the sake of Barian World..."
"Excellent..." smiled the insane bat Mobian wickedly as he started an evil chuckle.
(Location Change - New Mobotropolis - Library)
Inside the New Mobotropolis Library, the mysterious cat Mobian was sitting at a dark empty table that had multiple books of Mobius history.
"Interesting, this world's history is interesting to say the least." commented the cat Mobian as she continues to read the history book. All of a sudden, she felt a familiar energy spike that was somewhat similar to her own, "It seems a new Barian assailant is made, and I know that energy signature anywhere," she said to herself as she closed the history book and then gained a dark look on her face, "the Barian Conquered, Alikai."
"Excuse me," asked a voice, which startled the cat Mobian. The cat Mobian turned towards the source of the voice, to only see three figures, two females and one male, in the darkness as the mysterious figures had red aura around them, then one of the shadowed females stepped up, "Can you tell us where to find Sonic the Hedgehog, Barian Priestess, Savanna?" she asked as the cat Mobian, now known as Savanna, was paralyzed in fear and shock.
"I-it can't be, y-you're..." shuttered Savanna as she pointed towards the three newcomers.
(Location Change - New Mobotropolis - Sonic's Family Home)
"Hey Sonic," called Alex as he and Sonic were taking dishes full of food from the kitchen to a dining room, "thanks for inviting me for lunch with you and your family."
"No problem Alex," replied Sonic as he and the human placed the plates of food on the dining room table, "besides, you're our guest, and part of the Freedom Fighters."
"Sonny-boy is right Alex," called Sir Charles as he and two other hedgehog Mobians walked into the dining room. One of the two hedgehogs was a female hedgehog Mobian who looks like a female version of Sonic, but only purple fur, blue eyes, blond hair, and wearing a simple purple dress and heeled shoes. The other hedgehog was a blue and silver robotic hedgehog with red eyes and silver metal hair. They were Bernadetta and Jules respectively, as everyone took a seat and Sir Charles continued, "Everyone in the Freedom Fighters always treat one another as a comrade and family."
-Charles is right Alex.- agreed the hedgehog Robian (robot Mobian) as he gave a robotic smile.
"I agree," commented the female hedgehog Mobian as the sound of a doorbell ringing, "I'll get it, you guys start eating." Bernadette got up from her seat and left the dining room.
"Were you guys expecting more guests beside me?" asked Alex as he had a confused look on his face.
-I don't think so my boy,- answered Jules with a confused look on his face, then shrugged it off, -So Alex, how long have you had that Twilight deck of yours?-
Alex looked at the Hedgehog Robian, and then closed his eyes with a smile as he took out the Twilight cards from his deck box and placed them on the table. The human then opened his eyes as he looked at the cards and said, "For about two years now, won a tournament over at my country of New America, in fact," Alex then looked at the three male hedgehogs, "I'm the one who created the Twilight series of cards."
"Wait, you created your own set of cards?!" asked Sonic in surprise as he, his father and uncle looked at the human.
"Yup," answered Alex as he picked up a cup of water and took a sip from it, "the tournament was sponsored by Industrial Illusions, the company who created the Duel Monster game, where the winner would receive a set of cards of their own design..." Alex then paused as he and the male hedgehogs heard footsteps coming towards the dining room. Entering the room was Bernadette, along with three other hedgehog Mobians, two females and one male.
The new male hedgehog Mobian has green fur, peach muzzle and arms, blue eyes, lots of spiky hair, a quill style similar to Sonics', wearing an open orange vest, brown belt with a red pouch, white gloves, black wristbands with silver studs, and red and white sneakers.
One of the new female hedgehog Mobians has violet fur, peach muzzle and arms, yellow eyes, magenta hair, quill style like Sonics' but has magenta tips, wearing a purple and magenta dress, a gray belt, shoulder-length purple gloves, magenta knee socks, and purple short boots with magenta tips.
The last female hedgehog Mobian has lavender fur, peach muzzle and arms, blue-green eyes,, violet hair that reached to her legs, no quills, wearing a white dress with a gold belt on her waist that had a cerise jewel in the middle.
"Sorry to interrupt your story Alex but," apologized Bernadette, as she had a sheepish and nervous look on her face, then looked at her husband and brother-in-law, "Jules, Charles, it seems some family members of ours have come to visit us."
Both Jules and Charles had surprised looks on their faces and yelled, "Aleena!? Sonia!? Manic!?"
Sonic looked at his father and uncle, "You know them?" he asked.
"You could say that Sonny-boy." answered Charles as the lavender hedgehog Mobian saw the Hedgehog Robian and old hedgehog Mobian, ran towards them at the same speed equal to half as Sonic, hugging them to death.
'She ran as fast as me/Sonic!' thought Sonic and Alex respectively.
"Charles, Jules, it's great to see you two again after so long!" cheered Aleena as the Hedgehog brothers were being choked to death by the lavender hedgehog Mobian's hug with her eyes closed.
-I-It's...good t-to see...you too Aleena, b-but...- choked Jules, who was trying to get out of Aleena's strong grasp.
"But you're choking us to death!" cried Charles as he was trying to get out of Aleena's grasp as well.
Aleena opened her eyes to see red x's in Jules' eyes and Sir Charles' face turning purple, she immediately let go of the brothers, as they fell to the ground, "I'm so sorry you two!" apologized Aleena as everyone in the room sweatdropped at the scene.
"Oh mom..." moaned the violet hedgehog, Sonia, as she faceplammed.
"Oh boy..." muttered the green hedgehog, Manic.
"Um..." sweatdroppped Alex as he raised his right eyebrow.
"Dad! Uncle Chuck!" cried Sonic as he and his mother quickly went to the 'injured' brothers.
"Are you two all right!?" asked Bernadette as she placed Jules's head on her lap.
-I'll be fine Bernie dear...- answered Jules as he tries to recover from the 'death hug'.
"Me too," answered Sir Charles as he got up with Sonics' help, then the old hedgehog Mobian moved his body back and forth, everyone hearing the sound of some bones popping, "but at least I don't feel the ache on my back."
"Yeah, sorry about that Sir Charles," apologized Aleena as she gave an awkward smile and sweatdropped with her eyes closed, she then opened her eyes and saw Alex with a deadpanned look on his face, "Oh, I didn't know you have a guest with you, but may I ask, who are you?" she asked Alex, who looked at her with a confused look on his face.
"Umm...Alex Loredo." answered the human as a thought came to his head, 'Did she not notice I was here the whole time?'
"Nice to meet you Mr. Loredo," greeted Aleena with a smile, "as you may already heard from Charles and Jules, my name is Aleena," she then placed her hands on Manic and Sonia's shoulders, "and these are my son and daughter, Manic and Sonia."
"Sup man." greeted Manic.
"Nice to meet you." greeted Sonia.
"Nice to meet you guys..." greeted a confused Alex.
"So Alex," continued Aleena, which gained Alex's attention, "you were telling everyone in the room a story?"
"Yeah...I was telling Sonic, Jules, and Sir Charles about how I received my Twilight Duel Monster cards," answered Alex as he raised one of his eyebrows, "why do you ask?"
"I'm interested and would like to hear about how you got your Twilight cards as well." answered Aleena with a smile still on her face.
"Do you know what we're even talking about?" asked Sonic with his arms crossed across his chest and rising one of his eyebrows.
"You mean that Duel Monster game here in New Mobotropolis," countered Manic as he, Sonia, and Aleena pulled out Duel Monster decks of their own, "yeah, we do."
"Okay," said Alex as he cleared his throat and begin to where he left off, "As I said, I won my deck in a tournament where the winner would create their own series of cards."
-Flashback-
"I was in the finals of the tournament at Neo America's Kaiba Land," narratored Alex.
Inside a large stadium at a large amusement park, people were on the edge of their seats as they all saw a 17-year-old Alex Loredo with a white angelic Dragon with Angel Wings and a black demonic Dragon with a face on its stomach.

I just recently Synchro summoned Dark End Dragon on my last turn, but my opponent also had some powerful monsters as well, but I activated a Trap Card called Threatening Roar." continued Alex.
The younger Alex looked over to his opponent's field to see his opponent, a young 15-year-old spiky hair boy who was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. By his side of his field, he had a red-eyed purple serpent Dragon, a pink Dragon with razor sharp wings and beak as it had a white aura around it, and a dark blue dragon that has three horns on the back of its head. Behind the pink Dragon was a Spell Card that had a castle that shined as it had the same white aura around it.

"You might as well give up Alex!" taunted the young boy as he had smug look on his face, "You can't beat all of my dragons on your next turn, you just got lucky that you activated Threatening Roar on my turn."
"Whatever man," countered Alex as he placed his hand on top of his deck, "I'm not giving up. Watashi no turn, Draw!" and then drew his new card and placed it in his Duel Disk, "Spell Card, Pot of Greed, Hatsudo!" The familiar Spell Card appeared on the field as Alex draw two more cards, "It lets me draw two card. Next, Dark End Dragon no kouka hatsudo!" The demonic dragon's second mouth started to open, "By decreasing its ATK and DEF by 500, I can destroy 1 monster you control and I choose Seiyayu, go Dark Evaporation!" The black dragon's second mouth released black flames towards the sharp pink dragon, burning it with its black flames.

"Spell Card, Black Pendent, Hatsudo!" continued Alex as a red beaded necklace with a black jewel formed around D.E.D,'s (Dark End Dragon) neck, "I equip this card to Dark End Dragon, which give its 500 ATK."

"Now I'll attack Serpent Night Dragon with Dark End Dragon, Dark Fog!" ordered Alex as the dark dragon attacked the serpent dragon with a black haze from its original mouth.

"Next, Light End Dragon, attack Tri-Horned Dragon!" ordered Alex as the crystals on the angelic dragon's armor shined, "But first, Light End Dragon no kouka hatsudo! When Light End Dragon attacks, it loses 500 ATK and DEF, but the monster it battles loses 1500 ATK and DEF, go Light Expansion!" Giant beams of light hit both L.E.D. (Light End Dragon) and Tri-Horned Dragon, draining the dragons' strength.

"Now continue your attack, Shining Sublimation!" The white Dragon shot white flames towards the three horned dragon, destroying it.

"Oh man, I nearly got lucky there," sighed Alex's opponent as he tried to clear the smoke from the battle, "too bad you don't have another monster on the field, but on my next turn, I'll-"
"Spell Card, Quick Summon, Hatsudo!" interrupted Alex as a card shape light shined through the smoke.
"Wha..." asked the young boy.
"I can summon a monster thanks to this Quick-Play Spell, despite being my Bttle Phase," explained Alex as he held out the last card from his hand, "Watashi wa Light End Dragon, Dark End Dragon, Risrisu!" yelled Alex as both dragons disappeared in flashes of light and darkness, "Adobansu Shoukan (Advance Summon)! Arawareyo, Light and Darkness Dragon!" Two pillars of light and darkness shot out of the ground. The twin beams then fused together as a dragon's roar was heard. The pillar disappeared to reveal a dragon which is half-light with an angel wing and half-darkness with an demonic wing. The Dragon had two tails, one was light, the other was darkness.

"Before I make my final attack, Black Pendent no kouka hatsudo!" The image of the Spell Card formed as it shot a purple beam towards Alex's opponent, "When this card is send to the Graveyard, Black Pendent inflicts 500 points of damage to my opponent." explained Alex as the beam hits the young boy.

"Go Light and Darkness Dragon, attack with Chaos Stream!" ordered Alex as the dragon reared its head and then shot a beam of light and darkness towards its master's opponent, sending his flying to the ground.

"Here is your winner, Alex Loredo!" yelled the MC as the crowd cheered for the winner of the tournament. Everyone quieted down as the heard clapping and saw two people walking towards Alex.
"Congratulations, Mr Loredo, on winning my family's company tournament," said a male voice as a young male adult with silver hair and brown eyes, wearing a blue suit and black shoes (Just think of a 20-year-old Maximillion Pegasus wearing a blue colored version of his suit, his hair revealing his hidden eye, and no Millennium Eye), "I have to say, me and my sister can't wait to see the card designs you have in that head of yours"
"I agree with my dear brother." said a female voice behind the Pegasus-look alike. A young 17-year-old woman with long blond hair and blue eyes, wearing a red women's business suit and heels (Think of Cecelia Pegasus wearing a female version of Pegasus' suit).
"Thank you Mister..." Alex was stopped by the young male adult as he held out his hand to stop.
"Let's not get formal Mr. Loredo," said the young adult as he stretched out his hand to shake Alex's hand, "Just call me and my sister by our names, I'm Maximillion Pegasus J. Crawford the Third."
"And I'm Cyndia Pegasus Crawford." Introduced the female sibling.
"We can't wait to hear the card ideas you have." said Pegasus as he still held out his hand.
Alex looked at it, then to the Crawford siblings, and finally, Alex held out his hand and shook hands with male Crawford.
-End Flashback-
"After one year from winning the tournament, I received a package from Industrial Illusions," continued Alex as everyone in the room looked at the human in awe, "I then entered a local tournament with my newly receive deck and won."
"Nice." smirked Sonic.
"Amazing." praised Sonia.
"Sweet." smirked Manic.
"What happened after you won the local tournament?" asked Aleena as she and the other adult hedgehog Mobians/Robian looked with interest.
"Well, I walked towards a kid I dueled against, he was happy he got to duel a guy like me, a duelist with an unusual deck." answered Alex as he closed his eyes to recall the memory.
-Flashback-
"Next time we meet," said an 18-year-old Alex as he held out two Duel Monster cards, one Synchro Monster and one Effect Monster, in front of a shadowed 16-year-old male teenager, as the shadowed teen took the cards in awe, "add them to your deck, get stronger with them, and try to defeat me with them as your ally and friend."
-End Flashback-
"I'll find a way to meet up with that guy and give him his dream Duel Monster re-match." proclaimed Alex as everyone was staring at him with smiles.
"Don't worry Alex my boy," said Sir Charles as everyone started eating their lunch, "we'll find a way to send you home, no matter what."
"Yeah, don't worry about it." agreed Sonic as he took a bite out of chili dog.
"Thank you." thanked Alex as he started eating some chili dogs. Everyone in the hedgehog house had some fun as they told some funny stories about what happen to them in their past. Later in the evening, Alex left the hedgehog house to return to Freedom HQ as Alex had to practice the song he and Mina would sing in the concert in two days. The three young hedgehog Mobians looked through a copy of the song sheet that Alex had. Sonic was helping out at the concert by playing the guitar for the song. Manic and Sonia wanted to be part of the concert by playing some instruments that they know how to play. Sonia played on a panic while Manic played on a electronic drum set. Both Sonic and Alex were impressed and would ask Mina and Ash about it.
-Later that night-
Everyone was asleep that night. Sonic offered Sonia and Manic to sleep in his room with some extra sleeping bags, despite Sonia complaining about how dirty it is too sleep in the floor. The siblings accepted the offer and fell asleep. In the living room, some lamps were on as Aleena and Sir Charles were sitting in singlet chairs while Jules and Bernadette were sitting on the couch. All four had serious looks on their faces as they were quiet, until Aleena broke the silence.
"Did you tell Sonic about his true origins?" she asked the other hedgehogs in the room.
"No, we didn't get to tell Sonic about you or his true origins," answered Charles as he had a serious look on his face, "due to Julian Robotnik's roboticization, our memories were sealed away when we were turned into Robians."
"Me and Jules were taking away from Sonic when he was still a child," said Bernadette with a sad look on her face.
-Also, me and Bernie were used as slaves under Julian's control as Sonic and his friends were fighting Robotnik's forces.- said Jules as he finished his wife's sentence and his right hand turned into a fist. Bernadette then held her husband's when she saw Jules started to shake in anger.
"When everyone in Mobius was de-roboticized, thank to the Bem alien race, mine and Bernie's memories returned to us." Added Charles as he looked at Aleena.
"I see, but still," said Aleena as she stared at Jules, "Why are you still a Robian my friend?"
The Robian hedgehog sighed at the question and answered, "My war injures, I don't know if they've completely healed or not, so I don't want to take the risk of being de-roboticized."
"Hmm... I see," pondered Aleena as she looked back at the old hedgehog Mobian, "I would to take a guess you've done something to return his sealed memories?"
Sir Charles just nodded his head, "Yes."
Aleena closed her eyes, crossed her arms, and started thinking how to tell Sonic about his true origins. After a few minute of thinking, she opened her eyes and said, "When the time is right, I'll shell tell Sonic about his true origins, about me, about Sonic and Manic, but it may change his life forever."
-2 days later-
The day of the concert has come. Before the day of the concert, Sonic, Manic, and Sonia went over to Mina's house to see the pop star herself and her manager/boyfriend, Ash Mongoose. When Sonic asked Mina and Ash if Manic and Sonia can be part of the concert by playing some instruments for the song Alex chosen. Both mongoose Mobians don't know, but the two hedgehog Mobian siblings played with some instrumental parts of the song perfectly. Mina was amazed, but Ash wounded if Alex was okay with this as all three hedgehogs answered yes when they talked to him at Sonic's house. Ash somewhat agreed with the changed as the hedgehogs high-fives each other.
(Location Change - New Mobotropolis - Coliseum)
Over at the coliseum, a concert stage was set-up as crowds of Mobians were standing in front of it. Everyone was cheering for Mina, holding signs, wearing shirts that said "Forget-Me-Knot" on the front. They were excited to hear the female mongoose Mobian sing. Some wanted to hear the human sing as well.
Backstage, Alex was sitting on a crate, drinking a bottled water, as he wore shorts that reached his knees, a white sleeveless shirt that had tribal designs, and black sneakers. Amy got these for Alex to wear for the concert, since the song looked like a rap song. Alex looked across the room to see Mina's band, the Forget-Me-Knots, a chicken Mobian wearing sunglasses and shoes similar to Sonic's, a monkey Mobian with green eyes and the same shoes as the chicken, and a pink rabbit Mobian with pink eyes and shoes as the chicken and monkey. Alex saw them practice before when Mina invited the human and Sonic to her band practice, and Alex was impressed.
"So this where you've been?" asked a somewhat angry voice behind Alex.
Alex sighed, 'Here comes Ash...' As the human turned his head towards the voice. Standing next to a couple stage crates was a male yellow mongoose Mobian with piercing blue eyes and jet black hair, wearing a white jacket, a black frowning "smiley face" shirt, red-tinted glasses, ears with multiple piercings, silver studded wristbands, baggy blue jeans with a hole at the right lag, and black boots. This is Ash Mongoose, Mina's boyfriend/band manager. "What is it Ash?" asked a frustrated Alex as the male mongoose Mobian was glaring at Alex.
"Just wanted to let you know if anything how end to Mina or if the song you've chosen was a flop, I'll be gunning for your head, got it?" threatened Ash As he glared at Alex, who glared back.
"I get it," argued Alex as he heard Ash's threat before, "I'm a dead man walking, don't need to remind every single, geez."
Ash sighed when he saw the depressed look on the human's face, "Listen, I'm just trying to protect Mina from anything that would hurt her," he paused for a second, remembering the past, "she was used for mind control plot from ancient wizard, was taken hostage from techno mage from another country, and was almost killed from a gunshot."
Alex was quiet when he heard the things that Ash said. A lot of things are going through the human's head, until both Alex and Ash heard footsteps coming towards them, as they saw Mina Mongoose walking towards them.
"Hey guys, everything all right?" asked Mina innocently.
"Yeah." answered Alex.
"Everything's all right," answered Ash as he looked at the clock on the wall, "and you better be on stage Mina, you're on."
Mina looked at the clock and gasped, "You're right, I better get on stage quickly!" As she and the band mates got on stage, Mina stopped as she looked back to Alex, "See you at the finale?"
Alex looked at the female mongoose Mobian, then gave her a thumbs up and said, "Yeah, see you in the finale." With that, Mina gave the human a smile and walked on stage and Ash left Alex alone.
"Looks like Mina likes you," called a voice behind Alex, as the human turned to see Sonic, Sonia, and Manic walking towards him, "it usually takes time for Mina to get used someone new."
"Yeah, I can tell," said Alex as he looked at the three hedgehog Mobians, "by the way, what took you guys to get here?"
"Had to wait for princess here," answered Manic as he pointed his thumb at Sonia, "to get ready for the concert."
"Hey, a girl has to look pretty and her best, unlike you Manic." argued Sonia as both Alex and Sonic sighed as the two siblings begin to argue with each other.
On stage, Mina was giving a microphone and waving to the crowd, as the crowd was cheering for their favorite pop star.
On the roof of the coliseum, the crazy bat Mobian was watching the concert as one of his eyes started to bulge out with an insane smile on his muzzle and said, "That's right you fools, have fun with your little concert."
Unbeknownst to the insane one, a galaxy portal (Overlay Network portal) formed behind him. Coming out of the portal was Savanna as she saw the insane bat Mobian. "So, this is where you've been Alikai?" she asked, startling the bat Mobian, now known as Alikai.
Alikai turned around to see the cat Mobian, who was giving off a red energy aura. Alikai then frowned, recognizing the energy signature, "Damnit, can't believe you're here, the Barian Priestess, Savanna," Savanna was glaring holes into Alikai's head, "so, care to tell me what you're in this world?" he asked.
"Probably the same thing you're after, the Over-Hundred Number that's in the human's hands." answered Savanna as walked towards the edge of the roof, then sat down with her legs dangling on the side.
"I see," mused Alikai as he gained scheming smile on his face, "What do you say we work...!" He stopped at what he was saying as Alikai saw the cat Mobian/Barian was glaring at him with murderous intent.
"If you think I'll team-up with the likes of you, Alikai the Barian Conqueror, you're sadly mistaken," glared Savanna with venom in her voice, "besides, I still remember what you did to the queen's son, the first born prince."
"Yeah, what about it?" shrugged the bat Mobian/Barian as he closed his eyes.
"The queen and her two other children are here in this world." simplified Savanna as the insane Barian shot his eyes wide open.
"Crap, are they here for the Number card as well?" he asked as Savanna shook her head for no, "Dammit, if not the card, then what?"
"They're searching for the lost prince you've banished," answered Savanna as she stared at the male Barian, "and to make sure you disappear from the face of Barian World, for good."
"Dammit," cursed Alikai as he placed his hand on his face, "I better work faster to get the Number back from the human as possible."
Back on stage, Mina was finishing a song as the crowd was cheering for her to sing another song. "All right everyone, I got two more for you all," the crowd cheered and whistled with excitement, "the next song I'll sing will be in a different language, since the song came from my heart, so Ash, my manager, made a translator on the titantron for you all to follow."

After finishing the song, the crowd cheered for Mina as bereaved at them, "Thank you everyone, and now, I have a special gift for you all, but first," she then looked at the backstage curtain, "Alex, Sonic, can you two come out here please?"
Alex and Sonic were confused, but shrugged as they walked on stage with Sonia and Manic following behind, wondering what's going on. Everyone in the crowd went quiet, ready to hear what Mina had to say.
Mina looked at the two with a smile on her face, "I have to thank you guys for coming to my concert as guest singer and band member."
Alex then took a microphone out from his back pocket and spoke, " You're welcome Mina, I like to thank you and the people of New Mobotropolis," he paused as cheers from the audience were heard, he then gave them a smile and turned his attention back to Mina, "for giving me a chance to be here in this wonderful city and the chance to sings for this one time only, but why did you call me and Sonic out?"
"Yeah, what's up Mina?" asked Sonic as he was giving a microphone from the stage hands.
Mina looked at the two, took a deep breath, and asked, "I want to challenge you two to a Duel."
Alex and Sonic had surprised looks on their faces as the audience gasped.
Alex looked at Mina and asked, "A duel as in a Duel Monster match with me and Sonic against you, is that right?"
"That's right Alex," answered Mina with a serious and confidant look on her face, "I challenge both you and Sonic to a two on one duel!"
Alex scratched the back of his head, looked at Sonic who nodded yes, then looked back at Mina, "All right Mina, you got it, we accept your challenge, but remember, you better get ready, because we're coming at you with our full power, so don't expect us to pull any punches."
"I don't care, just bring your A-game." said Mina with confidence in her voice as everyone in the coliseum cheered that they get to see another duel.
A few minutes later, the three duelist got their Duel Disk, D-gazers, and decks from backstage and met back on stage (Mina has a standard colored Duel Disk and D-Gazer), and met in the middle.
"You ready Mina?" asked Sonic as he and Alex looked at the nervous female mongoose Mobian.
"Y-Yeah." answered Mina as she shuttered.
Alex rolled his eyes with a smile on his face, "Just calm down and take a deep breath Mina, everything will be all right." he said, trying to calm down the mongoose Mobian.
Mina looked at the human, nodded as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath in then out, finally calmed down, "Thanks Alex," thanked Mina as she got ready, "all right, let's go!"
"Duel Disk, Set!" yelled all three as their Duel Disk went from standby mode to active mode, "D-Gazer, Set!" The D-Gazers' lens glowed, knowing they're activated.
-A.R. VISION, LINK ESTABLISHED- called the female voice as the different colored digital dome formed around the coliseum.
"DUEL!" cried out the duelists as they drew their starting hands.

"Boku no turn, Draw!" cried Mina as she drew her first card (MINA: 6) and played it, "Knot Band - Bass, Shoukan." A human male in the age of 20 wearing rocker clothes as he wielded a red bass guitar in his hands appeared to the field. (MINA: 5)

"Knot Band - Bass no kouka hatsudo! When Bass is summoned, he instantly changes to Defense mode and lets me Special summon 1 'Knot Band' monster from hand in Defense mode." As she said that, the bassist monster crouched down to one knee as he held the bass guitar in front of him and the mongoose Mobian took another card from her hand and played it. "Knot Band - Drumm, Tokushu Shoken!" A human male in the age of 19 wearing baggy clothes as he was sitting down on a stool and played on a gold and red drum set. (MINA: 4)

"Not bad." Complimented Alex as he saw the two defensive monsters on Mina's field.
"Yeah, nice job Mina!" congratulated Sonic as he gave the songoose a thumbs up.
Mina blushed as the compliments she got from her opponent, "Thanks you guys, but I'm not finish yet," she then took another card from her hand and played in the S/T slot of her Duel Disk, "Continuous Spell Card, Double Defender, hatsudo!" the Spell card with an image of Dummy Golem and Guardian Statue in of a barrier formed in front of Mina as a glowing orange barrier from in from of the Knot Band monsters, "since I control two defensive monster, I can negate one of your attacks, Turn End." (MINA: 3)
Everyone cheered for the mongoose for the play she made.
"Watashi no turn, draw!" yelled Alex as he took a card from his deck (ALEX: 6), added to his hand, then took a different card from his hand and played it, "Twilight Swift Ninja, Shoukan!" Coming from top of the stage, a ninja in a dark blue tight suit with silver and red armor as he wielded a katana. (ALEX: 5)

"That's a new monster." Commented Sonic as he the new Twilight monster.
"Next, Spell Card, Double Summon, Hatsudo!" The classic Spell Card formed (ALEX: 4) in front of Alex as the human explained, "This card allows to Normal summon a second time, but I'm not going to bring out a monster," everyone in the audience at what Alex proclaimed as he cried out, "Twilight Swift Ninja, Jemini Shoukan (Gemini Summon)!"
"Gemini Summon?!" asked Sonic and Mina as they saw Swift Ninja gaining a light and dark aura.
"That's right, you see Twilight Swift Ninja is special type of monster called Gemini Monster," answered Alex as he begin to explain about the concept, "once on the field or in the Graveyard, Gemini monster are treated as Normal monster, but if you Normal summon, or Gemini summon, on the monster you have on the field, they become as a Effect monster, gaining the Card Effect they have."
"Whoa, that some hardcore stuff." Awed Mina as she stared as the ninja.
"All right, next up, Spell Card, Twilight Cyclone, Hatsudo!" said Alex as the Spell Card with an image of Light and Dark energy cyclone (ALEX: 3), as a huge gust of wind came to the field, "This card allows me to destroy Spell and Trap cards for each LIGHT and DARK monster I control," The gust of wind then transformed into a cyclone as it traveled towards Mina's field, "Since I control 1 monster, I'll destroy your Double Defender Spell!" The cyclone then engulfed said Spell Card as it was blown away.
"Oh man!" complained Mina as her card was destroyed.
"BOO!" yelled the audience as they saw what Alex done.
'Oh boy...' thought Alex as he looked at the crowd booing him, but shrugged it off and took another card from his hand, "Spell Card, Lost City - Twilight Kingdom, Hatsudo!" The ancient kingdom of Twilight changes the scenery around the duelist, "This card gives all monsters who have both LIGHT and DARK Attribute 400 extra ATK." Twilight Swift Ninja glowed with energy as he felt at home when the Field Spell activated. (ALEX: 2)

"Twilight Swift Ninja no kouka hatsudo! During the Battle Phase, my Swift Ninja can attack my opponent directly, but in doing so, the Battle damage is cut in half." explained Alex as everyone saw the ninja of light and darkness jump into the air, over the Knot Band monsters, in front of Mina. "Twilight Swift Ninja, attack Mina directly!"
"Oh boy, not good." stated Mina as Swift Ninja slashed Mina with his katana, "Aaahhh!"

Alex then took another card from his hand and placed it in his Duel Disk, "Spell Card, Twilight Healing Fountain, Hatsudo!" A giant fountain formed in front of castle as sparkling water flowed in it, " During my Standby Phase, me and Sonic gain 300 Life Points for each 'Twilight' monster, but if Twilight Kingdom is on the field, we gain 1000 Life Points instead. Kaado ichi mai settei! Turn End!" A face down card formed in front of Alex. (ALEX: 0)
"Boku no turn, Draw!" cried out Mina as she took her new card. (MINA: 4) 'Oh man, I've taken somewhat heavy damage to my Life Points, I need to somehow get rid of his monster.' Mina then took another card from her hand played it. "Knot Band - Guitar, Shoukan!" A third human male in the age of 19 wearing rocker clothes as he wielded a blue electric guitar in his hands. (MINA: 3)

"Next, I'll attack with Guitar!" yelled Mina as rocker Knot Band monster started to play a few notes, "And Alex, your monster isn't the only who can make a direct attack, Guitar's effect allows him to attack you directly when I control a face-up Defense position 'Knot Band' monster." Then a beam of light shot out from the guitar, heading towards Alex.
"Trap Card, Twilight Barrier, Hatsudo!" The face-down card in front of Alex revealed it self, as the purple and yellow yin-yang shield appeared in front of Alex. "Sorry Mina, not happening, when I control a 'Twilight' monster, I can negate one of your monster's attacks." The beam hit the shield, as the shield stood its ground as the beam stopped.
"Darn it," cursed Mina as she wasn't expecting a Trap card, "oh well, I can still do this!" She then raised her right arm, "Boku wa, Reberu san no Knot Band - Guitar, Knot Band - Drumm, Knot Band - Bass de obarei!" The three monsters turned into fully red (Knot Band - Guitar), orange (Knot Band - Drumm), and green (Knot Band - Bass) energy as they flew into the air, the famailar red spiral portal formed in front of Mina as the energies entered, "San tai no monsuta de obarei nettowaku kochiku (With these three monsters I build the Overlay Network)! Ekushizu Shoukan (Xyz Summon)!" A beautful song was heard in the arena, "Watashi-tachi ni utau (Sing to us), Knot Band - Marvelous Star!" a cute blond hair female human at the age of 21 appeared, with peach skin, bright blue eyes that showed happiness in them, wearing purple and green top, skirt, and high- heeled shoes, while holding a microphone in her right hand, as she giggled. The new monster then went down to one knee and crossed her arms, signaling she was placed in Defense position.

Everyone was cheering for the new Knot Band monster, as said monster was waving to the crowd and gave them a wink.
"Well, she's interesting." Complimented Alex as he saw Marvelous Star looking at him and Sonic with interest.
"Yep, really fits Mina's deck and personality." Commented Sonic as Marvelous Star winked at the two boys.
"Thanks guys, but Marvelous Star is more than a pretty face, Knot Band - Marvelous Star no kouka hatsudo!" One of the Overlay Units entered into Marvelous Star's microphone as said monster looked at it with confusion, "By detaching one of her overlay units, I gain 1000 Life Points!" Marvelous Star started to sing a beautiful song that echoed the arena as notes flew over to Mina, restoring some of her Life Points.

"Also, if my Life Points are lower than my opponent's, I can target 1 card on the field and return it to the owner's hand," she than pointed towards Twilight Swift Ninja, "And I choose your Swift Ninja!" Marvelous Star than sang another song towards to the Swift Ninja as notes hit him, making him disappear and his card returning to Alex's hand. (ALEX: 1)
"Crud..." cursed Alex as he gritted his teeth.
"Kaado ni mai settei, Turn end." Finished Mina as the crowd cheered for the Mongoose. (MINA: 2)
"All right, Ore no turn, Draw!" cried out Sonic as he drew his new card (SONIC: 6), but when he saw it, he was surprised to see it was blank, 'What the?! Where did this card come from?!'
Alex noticed the surprised look on Sonic's face, "Hey Sonic, what's wrong?"
Sonic looked at Alex as he put the blank card in his hand and took another card, "Nothing man, just a bad draw. Spell Card, Silver Medal, Hatsudo!" The familiar Spell card appeared in front of Sonic as it glowed and discarded a Monster card, "I discard Hero Kid from my hand in order to Special Summon Speed Warrior from my Deck. Speed Warrior, Tokushu Shoukan!" The grey armored skater/warrior appeared in front of Sonic in a flash of light. (SONIC: 4)

Sonic then pulled out another card from his hand, "Next, Spell Card, Monster Reborn, Hatsudo!" The second classic and favorite Spell Card appeared as it glowed white (SONIC: 3), "This card allows me to Special summon any monster from any player's Graveyard!" A white glow shined in Sonic's Graveyard slot as card was ejected out, "Hero Kid, Tokushu Shoukan!" The red and white armored young boy appeared on the field, "Hero Kid no kouka hatsudo! When Hero Kid is Special summoned, I can Special Summon two more from my Deck!" Two more Hero Kids appeared next to the original one.

Alex recognized this combo, 'He wants to end this duel quick, if I know what he's going to summon.'
"Ore wa Reberu Ni no Speed Warrior to, Hero Kid san tai de, Obarei!" All four of Sonic's monsters turned into fully orange (Hero Kids) and green (Speed Warrior) before shooting into the air in a spiral. A galaxy portal opened up and all four monsters entered, "Yon tai no monsuta de, Obarei Netwaaku kochiku (With these four monster, I contrast the Overlay Network)! Ekushuzi Shoukan!" The galaxy portal then exploded, "Arawareyo! Nanbazu Yonjuhachi (Number 48)!"

"Blink once and he'll be gone from sight! He's got the need, the need for speed! Godspeed Mirage!"
The sealed cage appeared as the bars were shattered as a green blue shot out. The blur stopped in front of Sonic to reveal the superhero-like monster, doing a superhero pose, as four green overlay units orbited around him.

Mina stared at the Number monster, until something in the back of mind clicked as her eyes dulled and spoke in a monotone voice, "Number..."
Up on the roof, Alikai laughed as he gave an evil smile, "HAHAHAHAHAHA, Amusing, amusing, this is just too amusing! There's no real entertainment without someone making a scene!"
Savanna glared at the laughing Barian, "You... Did you have something to do with this?"
Alikai stopped laughing and gave Savanna an insane look, "Of course I did. I won't be satisfied by a mere goodguy-badguy conflict without adding some dynamics to it. It would be too conveniant if the singer went nuts during the whole concert. So, I rigged the Baria Lapis to activate as soon as the Number is brought up! They'll be tearing each other to pieces! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And Barian's Force is just one of the surprises I set up for the event. With an audience this large I just had to put the effort into designing the absolutely fantastic death performance! No Number will get you out of this mess, Sonic. Let's see how well the hedgehog is laughing when his own Number bites him in the ass! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Back on stage, Sonic gave Mina a confident smile, thinking he won the game, "All right, here we go, Godspeed Mirage, attack Marvelous Star with Demolition Dasher!" he ordered as Number 48 dashed towards the Knot Band Xyz monster, who was sacred.

One of the Overlay Units flew into the Number Monster, "By detaching an Overlay Unit, up to twice per turn, Godspeed Mirage can attack a second time, go Godspeed!" the speedy superhero monster dashed towards the Knot Band monster again, about to do a spin kick.

"Boku no turn, Draw!" yelled Mina as she drew her new card (MINA: 3), then she lifted up her head to reveal her left eyes is red as the Barian Emblem appeared on her forehead and played the new card she drew, "Spell Card, Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force, Hatsudo!" (MINA: 2)
"What!?" yelled Alex in surprise.
"No way, Mina has the same card as Dr. Eggman did in your first duel Alex!" cried out Sonic. Backstage, Manic and Sonia glared as the card appeared on the field and glowed red as a dark cloud formed above the three duelists.

"With this card, I can target 1 face-up Xyz monster I control in ordered to Special Summon from my Extra Deck 1 "Chaos" Xyz Monster that is 1 rank higher than the monster I selected, by using it as a Overlay Unit," explained Mina as she looked at Marvelous Star, who looked sacred as she stared at the dark cloud, "And I'll overlay my Knot Band - Marvelous Star in order to recreate the Overlay Network!" Marvelous Star then screamed in pain as she was turned into crimson-red energy and shot towards the dark cloud. The dark cloud exploded with negative energy as a dark green orb formed in it.
"Kaosu Ekushizu Chenji (Chaos Xyz Change)! Varian no shin no shinko pawa, kon dati sekai o sabaki o motarasu (The true emerging power of Barian, bring judgment on the dirtied world now)! Chaos Xyz: Knot Band - Grudge Metal!"
Coming out of the dark orb, a black and red hair female human at the age of 21 appeared with pale skin, glaring red eyes that showed hatred, wearing a ripped black shirt that showed her belly that had strange glowing crimson-red energy tattoos, black fingerless gloves with glowing crimson-red energy triangles on her palms, black and grey skirt that had black shorts underneath while the skirt had glowing crimson-red energy lines, black tight-high stockings, and black boots. Appearing in the dark Knot Band monster's hand was black guitar with glowing crimson-red energy in the center. The glowing yellow Overlay Units from Marverlous Star flew towards Grudge Metal, transforming into the crystal-like Chaos Overlay Unit.

"Barian, Barian, Barian!" chanted the crowd as they had evil smirks on their faces.
"Great..." groaned both Alex and Sonic with annoyed looks on their faces.
"Oh boys," called Mina as both Alex and Sonic looked at her, seeing she grew an evil smile on her face, "I'm not finished yet, Barian's Force no kouka hatsudo! I can steal all of your Xyz monsters' Overlay Units and add them to new "Chaos" monster and drain your monster's ATK by 300 for each Overlay Unit taken, Chaos Drain!" The Barian's Force Spell sent red electricity towards Godspeed Mirage, who groaned in pain as it's Overlay Unit were taken and added to Grudge Metal.

Grudge Metal then played a riff from her guitar as black and red musical notes flew towards both Alex and Sonic, hitting them and sending them to the floor.

"Yeah, go Mina, beat them for Barian world!" cheered the crowd.
Alex and Sonic slowly got up to one knee, "Is that all you got Mina?" asked Sonic.
"Not yet," answered Mina with sickly sweet smile on her face, "Grudge Metal's effect continues, if both of your Life Points are higher than mine, I can destroy 1 face-up monster you control and its effect is negated in the Graveyard. Go Grudge Metal!" Grudge Metal then played another riff from her guitar and more dark musical notes flew towards Godspeed Mirage.
"Trap Card, Destruction Hammer, Hatsudo!" The face-down card in front of Sonic revealed itself to be a Trap Card with the image of a barrier stopping an explosion, "By discarding a card," Sonic then sent a card from his hand to the Graveyard slot (SONIC: 1), "I can negate your monster's destruction effect and destroy your monster." A clear barrier formed around Godspeed Mirage, the musical notes were stopped, then blasted back towards the corrupted Xyz monster.
"Trap Card, Orbital Buster, Hatsudo!" cried out Mina as her face-down revealed itself as a Trap Card with the image of Number 9: Dyson Sphere destroying Mirror Force, "If an Xyz monster with Overlay Units would be destroyed by card effect, I can detach 1 Overlay Unit to negate its destruction." A Chaos Overlay Unit flew in front of Grudge Metal and turned into a crimson-red barrier, stopping the dark musical notes.

"Damn it..." cursed Sonic as he gritted his teeth.
"Looks like your plan on destroying my monster failed Sonic," stated Mina as she was still giving both Sonic and Alex the same sickly sweet smile, but frowned and glared at Number 48, "Grudge Metal, attack Godspeed Mirage!" The Chaos Knot Band monster ran towards the superhero-like monster, who held up his arms to descend himself, "Since my Grudge Metal was summoned by the effect of Barian's Force, all card effects that negate destruction by battle are negated, which means your Number monster is defenseless, go Chaos Guitar Bash Attack!" The guitar in the corrupted Xyz monster's hand started to surround itself with red electricity, then the Chaos Knot Band monster swings her electrically guitar right at Godspeed Mirage's body, who electrocuted, then exploded. The explosion sent both Alex and Sonic flying right to their backs.

"Now... Spell Card, Out-Number, Hatsudo!" yelled Mina as she played a new card from her hand. The Spell Card with an image of CXyz: Comic Hero Legend Auther and Number 39: Utopia about to battle until Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction joining Cxyz: Comic Hero Legend Auther side. (MINA: 1)
"Out-Number?" asked Alex who was getting up from the attack.
"What does that do?" asked Sonic who got up to his feet.
"I'm glad you both asked, I can activate this card when a non-Number Monster destroyed a Number Monster in battle, I can Special summon the destroyed Number Monster from your Graveyard to my field." explained Mina as the Graveyard Summon circle formed in front of Mina.
"What!?" yelled Sonic as his Number card flew out from his Graveyard into Mina's hand.
'An Anti-Support Number card!?' thought Alex as he saw Mina placed Sonic's card on her Duel Disk.
"That's right, come back, Number 48: Godspeed Mirage!" ordered Mina as Godspeed Mirage came out of portal, glaring at Grudge Metal, "But during this turn, the Number Monster cannot attack or activate it's effect." One of the Chaos Overlay Units from the Chaos Knot Band Xyz monster transformed into a green orb, then flew towards Godspeed Mirage and orbited around him, "Then, I can detach 1 Overlay Unit from an Xyz monster I control and attach it to the summoned monster."

A Spell Card with an image of Number 17: Leviathan Dragon and its Overlay Unit flying away and forming into a shining card, formed in front of Alex (ALEX: 1), "This card allows me to select 1 Xyz monster on the field and detach all of its Overlay Units, then let draw 1 card for every 2 Overlay Units that was detached," He then pointed towards Grudge Metal, "and I select Chaos Xyz: Knot Band - Grudge Metal!"
Mina saw her Chaos Xyz monster's Overlay Unit fly away from her and turned into crimson-red energy and shot towards Alex's Deck. She then gritted her teeth, "Brings those back!"

Turn end!" Another card formed behind the first face-down card. (ALEX: 0)

Draw!" yelled Mina as she took another card from her deck (MINA: 2), "You'll pay for taking my monster's Overlay Units Alex," as she pointed towards Alex's face-down monster, "Godspeed Mirage, I order you to attack Alex's face-down monster!" The superhero-like monster dashed towards the face-down monster, which flipped up to reveal to be Twilight Swift Ninja, who was crouching down.

"I don't think so, Trap Card, Unsetting Sun, Hatsudo!" yelled Alex as his second face-down flipped up to a Trap Card with an image of a sun setting over a canyon, "During the turn when any face-down monster is selected for an attack and flipped face-up, that monster cannot he destroyed by that battle!" A yellow-red aura flowed over Swift Ninja, as Godspeed Mirage tried to kick the ninja.
"You only delay your demise, Godspeed Mirage no kouka Hatsudo!" yelled Mina as the only Overlay Unit on Number 48 entered into him, "By detaching an Overlay Unit, Godspeed Mirage can attack a second time, go, Demolition Dasher!" The superhero-like monster dashed towards Twilight Swift Ninja, this time punching the ninja's stomach, finally destroying him.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!" cried Alex and Sonic as they fell to the floor on their backs.

"Kaado ichi mei settei, Turn End." ended Mina as she placed one card face-down (MINA: 1), looking at her downed opponents with a sick sweet smile, "You might as well give up boys, you're down to only 100 Life Points, so give me both Number 123 and 48 for the sake of Barian World."
"MINA, BARIAN, MINA, BARIAN, MINA, BARIAN!" chanted the crowd.
"No way..." stated Sonic as he and Alex started to get up from the floor, both hurting pretty bad from Grudge Metal's attack, "me and Alex were... giving those cards to stop the evil... that's now hunting us down..."
'Why won't they stay down...' thought Mina to herself as she glared at the now standing up Alex and Sonic.
"I'm not giving up... until the evil that controls you... is gone..." continued Sonic as he glared at the brain controlled mongoose Mobian, giving her his confident smile, "I'll never surrender to the guy who you that card Mina!" A light shined in Sonic's Deck box, surprising everyone around the three duelist, "What the..."
"Sonic..." Sonic heard his name, then turned to the light in his Deck Box, opened it to reveal a shining card in it. Sonic took the card out and looked at it, then a flash of light blinded him. When the light stopped, Sonic found himself in a misty forest.
"What the, this looks like the Great Forest," said Sonic to himself as he walked down a dirt path towards a large area in the middle of the forest.
"Sonic..." the voice called again. Sonic looked around his surroundings to nothing, until the mist started to clear to reveal a figure. The figure was a 20-year-old human male with black slick hair and green eyes that showed confidence, wearing a sienna tank armor tunic with both gold doodles traced on his chest and brown linings on his neckline and sleeves, brown Roman-style sandals with leg guards, matching belt with a gold round buckle, red bandanna, brown wristbands. The mysterious figure looked at hedgehog Mobian, and then gave a confident smile, "Nice to see you, Sonic the Hedgehog."
"Who are you and where am I?" asked Sonic as he stared at the human.
"You're in home Sonic the Hedgehog, the Mystic Forest, or what you and your friends call the Great Forest," answered the mysterious figure as he walked up to Sonic, who was surprised, as the man finished, "and my name is Mobius."
"Mobius?!" yelled Sonic.
"That's right," said Mobius as he walked away from the blue hedgehog, "You see Sonic, I was a great warrior who was given the power of speed from the gods, defended my home country from invaders, until I was sealed away from an evil wizard, for many centuries, I watched my world transformed throughout the centuries until," he paused for a moment as a tear fell from his eye, "the Days of Fury came, meteors fell from the sky destroying everything, but thanks to the mystical power given to me, my seal was undamaged, but the world evolved into something new," he then looked straight into Sonic's eyes, "the planet was given my name, Mobius, thanks to three masked figure of this new world's ancient past, then for few more centuries, I watched this world evolved into what it is today from a war between magic and technology, to a war between Mobians and the humans you call Overlanders, I was saddened that this was going on, I felt useless that I couldn't do anything to stop it, but," he gave a huge smile to Sonic, "I was happy to see heroes like you and your friends, stopping an evil man from destroying this beautiful world, saving many lives," turned serious with a fierce look, "but I felt disturbance of an evil that is not part of this world, so I described to help you and friend in this duel, to stop this evil," he then held out his hand in front of Sonic, "will you accept my assistance in this battle?"
Sonic crossed his arms and looked at Mobius for a few minutes, thinking about what the man, 'So, this guy saw everything from the past, the Days of Fury where the Xorda alien race changed the world, the Forgotten Wars, and the Great War, and now the stuff going between Alex and whoever targeting him and me.' He then shook Mobius' hand and gave a confident smile and answered, "All right buddy, you got it, we'll together to stop the evil."
Mobius returned the smile, "Thank you my friend, I'll be waiting for you to call me for battle, but my form will be different."
"No problem." said Sonic as bright light shined around the two, to only stop to show Sonic with his eyes closed, still holding the Shining card in his hand. Sonic opened his eyes to see the card stopped shining to reveal the front of the card to be an Xyz Monster card with a name that Sonic is familiar, he then gave a grin and said, "All right, it's show time buddy."

Alex looked at Sonic, thinking he might have plan, and answered, "Sure Sonic, Lost City - Twilight Kingdom no kouka hatsudo!" The castle behind Sonic and Alex glowed as the gate door started to open, "Once per turn during the Main Phase, I can Special Summon one 'Twilight' monster that was destroyed in battle back to field," the doors fully opened as a familiar ninja jumped out and landed in front of Alex, "Twilight Swift Ninja, Tokushu Shoukan!"

"Thank Alex," Sonic then took the new card he drew and played it, "Max Warrior, Shoukan!" A heavily bronzed armored budda-warrior with giant silver spiked shoulder pads and two-ponged staff appeared next to Swift Ninja.

Mina sneered at the two Level 4 monsters, "What will those monsters do?" she asked.
"Nothing much if they're separated," answered Sonic until he gave a confident smile, "but together, they'll create something new." He then held up his arm, "Ore wa, Reberu Yon no Max Warrior to, Twilight Swift Ninja de, OBAREI!" Both monster turned into fully green (Max Warrior) and yellow (Twilight Swift Ninja) energies as they flew into the sky. A green galaxy portal formed in front of a Sonic, "Ni tai no monsuta, Obadrei Netwaako kochiku (With these 2 monsters, I build the Overlay Network)! Ekushisu Shoukan!" as the two energies dived right into the portal, the portal exploded with energy, "JOSHO (RISE), SPEED STRIKE HYPER MOBIUS!" Coming out of the portal was blue armored mecha-warrior with silver metal arms, a long knotted braid made of cables growing downing from the back on its head, and large toothed ring on its back. Bright blue eyes showing confidence were shown through the new monster's helmet. Two green Overlay Units orbited around the new monster.

Alex was amazed by the new monster, as his eyes glowed black and white again for the third time, 'Again?' He thought to himself as he stared at the new monster, to see a blue aura, similar to Sonic's, 'Amazing, Hyper Mobius has the aura around it, it has so much power.'
"Nice monster Sonic," sneered Mina as she glared at the Blue hedgehog Mobian, but then give SONIC a sneaky grin, "but it'll be useless with its effect, Trap Card, Xyz Denied, Hatsudo!" The face-down card in front of Mina revealed itself to be a Trap Card with an image of Number 39: Utopia and its Overlay Unit being turned into ice, "I can activate this Trap Card when my opponent Xyz summons and Xyz Monster, I can target that monster so it can't activate it's effect by detaching any Overlay Units!" An icy blue beam shot out of the Trap Card towards Hyper Mobius, as the beam hits it, turning the mecha-warrior's Overlay Units into ice. "Ha, now your new monster is useless with its effect!"
"You sure about that Mina?" asked Sonic as Mina looked at him with a confused look on her face, "Why do you take a look at the card."
Mina then looked at the Speed Strike's card, to only see there was no card effect on it, "What, that card has no effect on it!?" she yelled in shock.
"That's right," answered Sonic as the blank card in his hand shined and transformed into a Spell Card with an image of Speed Striker Hyper Mobius dashing with blazing trail behind it, "its power comes from other cards, like this for example, Spell Card, Supersonic Blaze, Hatsudo!" The new Spell Card formed in front of Sonic (SONIC: 0), "This Spell Card can only activate if I have Speed Striker Hyper Mobius on the field, by detaching as many Overlay Units from Hyper Mobius, I can destroy cards my opponent controls up to the number of units that were detached," he explained as the mecha-warrior's frozen Overlay Units were freed from their icy prison, and then entered into Hyper Mobius, "and I'll detach both of my monster's Overlay Units to destroy Grudge Metal and Godspeed Mirage!"
/SPEED STRIKER HYPER MOBIUS/OU: 2 - 0/
"WHAT!?" yelled Mina as she saw Hyper Mobius dashing towards her monster. Once Hyper Mobius reached both Grudge Metal and Godspeed Mirage, it created a sonic boom with a blazing trail behind it. Both of Mina's monsters were hit by the sonic boom, sending them flying and destroyed. The mecha-warrior returned towards Sonic, it's eyes still brimming with confidence.
"Now Speed Striker Hyper Mobius, attack Mina directly, Hyper Dash Punch!" ordered Sonic as Hyper Mobius dashed towards Mina, reeling its right arm with a fist, then punched Mina in the stomach with so much power from its speed. Mina gasped for air as she flew and hit the floor, the Barian emblem disappearing, signaling she lost the duel.

"Mina!" cried out both Alex and Sonic as they ran towards the downed Mobian as the digital field disappeared. Sonic picked up Mian and started to shook her little to wake her up.
On the roof, Alikai snarled as the Barian's Force Spell Card returned to his hand, "Dammit, another failure." Then a galaxy portal appeared behind the bat Mobian/Barian as he entered through it.
Savanna looked at the portal closing, then to the concert to see everyone is coming out of their trance. "It seems it's time to reveal myself." Her earring glowed as she turned into crimson-red energy, shot out from her spot to the sky, then headed towards the concert stage.
Back on stage, Mina woke up from the duel and saw both Sonic and Alex, both looking concerned for her, "Hey guys, what happened?" she asked as Mina Sat up while shaking the cobwebs in her head.
"Let's just say you went a little crazy in our duel." answered Sonic with a smile on his face.
"Yeah..." Alex stopped at what he was about to say as he then looked up at the sky, sensing and saw something red coming towards them, "guys, look up."
"What's up Alex?" asked Sonic as he looked up at the sky and also saw the red object heading towards them, "...Oh, that."
The object landed in the middle of the concert stage. Not even leaving a scorch mark. The crimson-red energy flames dissipated to reveal a humanoid female figure wearing a pale pink and magenta robe with a magenta cloak covering her head. Everyone could see her pale pink face with red eyes and no mouth.
Alex stood up and turned towards the mysterious visitor. "Who are you and what do you want?" he asked the female, who looked at the human.
"My name is Savanna the Barian Priestess," answered the newcomer as she pointed her index finger towards Alex and Sonic, "and I've come to this world to retrieve the Numbers the both of you possessed."
'Barian…' thought Alex, remembering about the Barian's Force Spell Card that both Dr. Eggman and Mina had before they disappeared, and then glared at Savanna, "Answer me this, are you the one who brainwashed Dr. Eggman and Mina and forced them to duel with the Barian's Force and the Chaos Xyz monsters?!" he yelled the question.
Sonic, Manic, Sonia, and Mina were surprised by the anger Alex is releasing towards the cloaked female Barian. Savanna stared into Alex's eyes, seeing the hatred and anger in them. She then closed her eyes and answered, "No, that would be the doing of another Barian, your true target, his name is Alikai the Barian Conqueror," she paused for a moment, "he's also after your Number cards, but his purpose for using is different from mine."
"Like what?" asked Sonic as he helped Mina up and glared at the female Barian.
"My purpose for being here is to retrieve Number 123 and return it to Barian and use the other Numbers to help my world," answered Savanna as she glared at the Number Holders, "but Alikai wants to use the Numbers, Over-Hundred or not, to conquer worlds and power himself to gain god-like powers," a galaxy portal appeared behind Savanna, and then she started to disappear by entering through it, "by warned Alex Loredo and Sonic the Hedgehog, I'll come back for your Number in the near future."
"Hey, get back here!" yelled Sonic as he ran towards the portal, but was too late as it disappeared, "Dang it, didn't make it."
Everything was silent as everyone stared at the spot where the Barian disappeared. A few minutes later, it was already dark as the night took over the sky, the coliseum lights were switched on, as well the stage lights. The crowd was cheering for the final song to be played. Mina came out on stage, waving to the crowd and said, "All right everyone, what you'll been waiting for, the last song of the concert, and... The newest member of Freedom Fighters and the Twilight King of Duel Monster himself, Alex Loredo!"
Alex walked on stage, waving to the audience, then stopped next to Mina. He looked at the crowd with a smile on his face, "Are you'll ready for this?" asked Alex as audience cheered loudly as the answer, "All right, but first, I like to introduce three hedgehogs who'll play some instruments for the song, so please welcome Sonic, Manic, and Sonia!" The crowd cheered as the three different colored hedgehog Mobians came on stage, but Alex noticed something and asked them, "Um... Guys, where's your instruments?" Everyone looked at the hedgehog Mobians, wondering the same thing.
"Don't worry dude, we got them." reassured Manic as he and Sonia pulled out silver medallions from their pockets. Manic's medallion looked like a drum set while Sonia's medallion looked like a keyboard. Green energy flowed into the drum medallion as a green flash of light shined, and then died down to reveal a set of yellow and orange drums in front of Manic. Purple energy flowed into the keyboard medallion as a flash of purple light shined, and then died down to reveal a gray and black keyboard synthesizer in front of Sonia. Sonic looked amazed to see the hedgehog siblings's medallions transformed into instruments, as he looked down on his guitar medallion and closed his eyes, channeling some of his energy into the necklace. Blue energy flowed into the guitar medallion as a blue flash of light shined, and then died down to reveal a blue and yellow double neck guitar in Sonic's hands. Manic and Sonia saw this, looked at each other and secretly nodded. Sonic played a few notes on the guitar, until he played a full blown riff. The crowd cheered as Alex and Mina were impressed.
"All right, that was impressive you guys, but thanks to that little show of yours, I maybe a little bit blinded now." joked Alex as the crowd chuckled while the three hedgehog Mobians shrugged with sheepish grins, "All right, let's get this started!" The crowd cheered loudly as the song started.

"Thank you everyone," thanked Alex, "no matter how brought the road is, no matter what obstacles is put in front of you, no matter how tough the situation is, we'll never give up, never surrender, we're invincible." The audience cheered, "So a warning to Eggman or anyone who will take our freedom, you better watch out, because we'll be fighting back ten-fold." The crowd cheered and whistled for Alex as the concert was finished and everyone went home. Everyone in New Mobotropolis took Alex's words by heart to never give up against those who will hurt them.
