a duelist find a mysterious jewel and a blank card, than he is transported to Mobius thanks to Chaos Control, where Sonic and his friends, the Freedom Fighters, to help him before Eggman try to capture the duelist, while beings from a another world test him to see if the duelist can keep the blank card, or take the card away and destroy the world. Well, this chapter has taking a long time to write, No thanks to my work out in the fields and drawings for deviantART, but I got it done. Had some trouble, like the duel going a little down south were it would've been, but it got fixed and would love to thank for the duel and the new cards some of the characters would use.

CHAPTER 5: Rescue Mission on Yurashia! The Mysterious Duelist, Diana!?

(Location Change - Mobius - Somewhere in Yurashia)

It was nighttime over at another country in Mobius. Everything was quiet, the wind was blowing gently, crickets chirping, moonlight shining, and a light blue meteor falling from the sky.

(Pinkie Pie Note: Wait… light blue meteor falling from the sky!? Run for your life! / Author Note: PINKIE PIE, HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE!? / Pinke Note: I walked. 'giggles' / Author Note: 'grabs Pinkie Pie' GET OUT! 'kicks Pinkie out' / Pinkie Note: HEY! / Author Note: FYI, I do NOT own MLP: FiM.)

The blue meteor landed near a village, waking some of the village inhabitants up in the process. Some of the villagers ran towards the meteor, which was glowing. The villagers were amazed to see a meteor up close, until it stopped glowing to reveal something that surprised them.

(Location Change - Mobius - The EggDome)

Dr. Eggman was sitting on his chair, watching a replay of the duel he 'had' against Alex. During the duel, Orbot and Cubot were recording the whole duel, including Alex Xyz summoning Number 123: Twilight Paladin Dragon, Eggman going crazy and activating Barian's Force to bring out CXyz: Robotic Emperor Giganfort, to finally Alex winning the duel and sending him and his robot minions flying.

"I have to thank those two on recording this." Muttered Eggman to himself, as he played the video again, "I can't even remember what happened to me after that otherworld brat came to this world and made me and the Dark Egg Legion retreat," He then stopped the video to see Alex glaring at him, "you're quite the mysterious fellow Alex Loredo." Eggman stopped at what he was about to say as he heard the hiss of a door opening, as he saw Orbot rolling in his orb form, and stopped in front the evil doctor.

"Dr. Eggman, the Grandmasters of the Dark Egg Legion are here," reported Orbot as he clapped his hands together, "also, the bounty hunters you 'asked' for are here."

"Good." Stated Eggman as he got up from his chair, was about to walk out of the room until he saw the deck of Duel Monster cards he used against Alex, took them and then left the room with Orbot following behind him.

After a few minutes of walking, Dr. Eggman entered another room that had a large metal table and a large fish tank. Already taking a seat at the table was Lien-Da, who was quiet as she is the Grandmaster of the Albion Dark Egg Legion.

The second Grandmaster was a Rabbit Mobian with sandish yellow fur, a white muzzle, and soft blue/grey eyes that held a regal, yet care free and kind look in them. On his head, hiding his styled brown hair that was tied into dreadlocks and held by beads, was a brown, Stetson hat that let his long ears, which were tied back, hanged out from underneath. He wore a Dark-brown Duster coat with a white shirt worn underneath, a red tie done in a bow-like fashion around his neck, black pants that resembled Eggman's, only in the rabbit's size, black boots, and a fingerless blue glove on his left hand. however, that was were his normal look ended as his entire right arm was robotic in appearance. This was the Grandmaster of the Great Desert Dark Egg Legion, Beauregard Rabbot, or as some call him, The Baron.

The third Grandmaster was a feral looking wolf twice her size with white fur, slited yellow eyes, cybernetic arms with razor sharp claws, and wearing a dark-purple and blood red uniform. This was Dragon Wolf, Co-Grandmaster of Soumerca Dark Egg Legion.

The Fourth Grandmaster was a feral looking Wild Cat Mobian with Cybernetic claws like Drago's. His fur was a dirty orange, black, and white color while his eye were a sinister yellow. He wore a outfit similar to Eggman's, only the jacket was replaced by a torn vest, and opened 'toes' for his claws. This was Razorklaw, Drago's partner in leading the Dark Egg Legion's Chapter in Soumerca.

The fifth Grandmaster that sat next to him was a Mobian Cobra with green, lime-green, and yellow scales, and cold, blue eyes. His body, arms and legs were cybernetic, and resembled obisidian-black knight armor in appearance, his tail sticking out of the bottom of the 'armor.' On his torso were two, orange triangle-shaped metal buttons colored yellow on the outside with white stripes circling around the back. This was the GrandMaster of the Dark Egg Legion Chapter in Mercia, and one of the more cruel and sadistic of the GrandMasters, Mordred Hood, or Lord Hood as his servants called him.

The sixth Grandmaster was a Platypus Mobian with teal colored feathers, the tips of the ones on his head orange, and a black bill and tail. He wore a purple version of Eggman's costume. This was Duck 'Bill' Platypus, GrandMaster of the Downunda Dark Egg Legion Chapter and, in secret, a member of the Downunda Freedom Fighters.

The seventh Grandmaster, and one of the only two females of the group, was a Mobian Lynx with orange fur and the tips of her ears black, and her muzzle a creamish-white. On her head was a Conical Straw-hat, a tuft of her raven-black hair hanging over her face. She wore a dark purple, Samurai/Kunoichi outfit with gold trimmings, the top of the outfit stretched a bit by her ample bust and the lower part of the outfit hugging her ample waist, brown boots with metal on the front, and black and grey gloves with red cuffs. Currently she had her eyes, which were a red orange color and cybernetic, closed. This was the Grandmaster of the Dark Egg Legion Chapter in the Dragon Kingdom, and the Leader of the Raiju, one of Mobius's most powerful Ninja tribes, Bride of the Conquering Storm.

The eighth Grandmasters, and the third tallest in the group, was a Mobian Bear with brown fur. He wore a red, opened, torn vest, revealing the muscles on his chest, a chain wrapped around his abs, dark blue jeans, and brown biker boots. This was Diesel, Leader of the Dark Egg Legion Chapter in Efrika.

The ninth Grandmaster, and the second tallest of the group, was a well-built human male. He was Caucasian in appearance, and had a spiky, black beard. He wore a dark red military outfit with bronze and white, possibly ceramic, pauldrons on his shoulder, Eggman's symbol being seen on the left pauldron, combat boots, and a bronze device on his back that resembled a Sega Dreamcast. His arms, and the left side of his face, were cybernetic in appearance. This was Hugo Brass, GrandMaster of the Dark Egg Legion Chapter in Eurish.

The tenth Grandmaster was a strange, fat looking creature with booger green skin. He wore a white shirt that was stretched by his fat figure, black pants that were held up by a pair of orange straps, a orange tie around his neck, and a red cape. His left arm was robotic, and had the appearance of a claw crane. This was The Foreman, the leader of the Nerb Dark Egg Legion Chapter.

In the fish tank behind the other Grandmasters, and the largest of them, was a Orca Mobian with its fin, tail, eyes, and flippers cybernetic. Even though his eyes were cybernetic, they didn't hide the ruthless, power hungry look in them. This was Akhlut, Leader of the Dark Egg Legion Chapter in the Northern Tundra, and the most dangerous of the GrandMasters.

"Ahh...Welcome, my GrandMasters," Eggman greeted, as he approached the large metal table, "I'm sure you are all wondering why I called you here?"

"This better be good, Eggman! I was busy with something before you called me in here!" Drago growled at the fat doctor, "I gave you my arms, and my allegiance! In fact, you better show me some respect! Especially since I got these killer cybernetics!"

"Oh? You mean the ones that'll explode if I give a single voice command?" Eggman smirked darkly, causing Drago to pale.

"Yeah...th...I...um...what were we talking about?" the feral wolf gulped.

"I thought so. Now sit…down," Eggman ordered as Drago did so, giving a small whimper as the fat doctor looked at the other GrandMasters, "And Drago isn't special, my dear GrandMasters. You're all one command prompt away from being permanently retired."

"Can we go ahead and start this meeting already?" Lien-Da asked him in a annoyed tone, having been reminded about the bomb inside her.

"Right, now then..." Eggman began, "I has Lien-Da sent out a signal, yet nobody responded. Tell me, is there a reason you chose to disobey me?"

"W-well sir, we got word from Snively that the Empire had fallen and..." Beauregard began.

"And you believed him?-!" Eggman snapped at the rabbit before glaring at the rest of his GrandMasters, "You'd really think I'd grant any of you freedom in my demise?-! I Legionized you! I sponsor and Empowered you! I own you! You will serve the Dark Egg Legion and the Eggman Empire until the day you die! Or until I grow tired of you, which is pretty much the same thing in the end."

"Then...it was a trick by Snively? Why?" Akhlut asked the fat, egg-shaped doctor.

"...I don't know yet," Eggman responded as he turned to face the Orca.

"Pah! You cannot control your chief underling! You're not fit to command any of us!" Akhlut growled.

"Would you prefer I open the hatch and let you fly back into the ocean?" Eggman grinned darkly.

"..."

"No? I didn't think so!" Eggman smirked as he turned around to face the other GrandMasters again, "I know you all hate me, and I don't care! What matters is that you hold your positions of powers, and I control that power! Do as I say, and only as I say! You all serve my well...but..." he paused as he placed a hand on Duck's shoulder, causing the platypus to pale a bit, "You're all...replaceable."

'Oh man...I can't let that happen...' The Platypus thought with a gulp, thinking about what would happen to his fellow platypus if Eggman replaced him.

"All that said, I also reward loyalty!" Eggman grinned as he took his hand of Duck's and motioned toward Lien-Da, "Take Lien-Da for example."

"Huh? Me?" the female echidna blinked.

"She could've taken over during the...'techinical difficulties' a few days ago. But...she did not! If that isn't loyalty, I don't..." Eggman pause, his left eye twitching as he turned around to face Cubot and Orbot, who were serving tea and biscuits to the GrandMasters, "What are you two bolt brains doing?-!"

"Just being gracious host to your guest, milord," Orbot explained.

"Si..." Cubot, now sporting a small moustache and had a thick, Spanish accent, added as he served Conquering Storm a cup of tea, "For you, Sinorita...please, enjoy."

"..Oh, fine! Carry on!" Eggman ordered the two before clearing his throat, "Anyway, as I was about to say, Lien-Da will receive her choice for her chapter's re-assignment. Understood?"

The GrandMaster's didn't say anything as they nodded in response.

"Good. Now that we're clear on who's in command, I have some additional task for you. You will continue to terrorize any un-conquered territory and Legionize new recruits as before. But..." Eggman began as with a snap of his fingers, a holographic image of a blue, emerald-shaped gem appeared in the middle of the table, "You will also be looking for this! You see...Snively took the Chaos Emerald and no doubt hid it. The Chapter to find and deliver the gem to me will be greatly rewarded! The quicker it's found, the greater my generosity will be. Try to keep it, and your punishment will be legendary."

"..You have set many task before us, Eggman-sama," Conquering Storm spoke after taking a sip of her tea, "If you continue to abruptly summon all of us in the near future, it would make it difficult to fulfill your wishes."

"I'm well aware of that. Today's demonstration was to make in impression. Also, I have other means of keeping tabs on your actions as well," Eggman responded as he snapped his fingers, causing a pair of doors to open behind him as four, robotic figures walked out.

The first two were robotic clones of Sonic and Tails while the third was a metallic red, robotic echidna.

The fourth was a robotic, female Mobian Chipmunk/Squirrel with dark blue, silver-white, and gun metal black armor. Her head was a light, metallic brown while her styled, metal hair was a metallic red, a strand of it hovering over one of her soulless, blue eyes.

"My latest Badniks, the Metal Series, will be enforcing my will directly, and 'assisting' you when needed," Eggman stated.

"Oh...mah...stars..." Beauregard gasped in horror as he looked at the robotic chipmunk/squirrel, "Is...is that...Princess Sally?"

"No, it isn't, which is why so created this robotic clone of the princess!" Eggman smirked, "As you can see, quite contrary to Snively's little fib...I'm winning this war!"

"DAMN IT! Wish it was the damn princess!" Drago yelled in anger. However...that soon ended when a laser blast zoomed right past his head, barely hitting his ear.

"As you just saw..." Eggman began as he motioned to Metal Sally, who had one of her hands out and opened before putting it down, "Metal Sally's equiped with some of the best weapons I created in the past! Combine that with the knowledge of the original on the battlefield, and you got quite possibly the most dangerous weapon ever! Hohohohoho!"

'Why that no good son of a rattle...!' Beauregard thought with a growl before calming down, 'No Beauregard...don't do it. Remember why you joined him in the first place...'

"...Is that all you wanted to talk to us about, Eggman? Or is there something else?" Razorklaw asked.

"Why yes...there is. Lien-Da, play it," Eggman ordered the female echidna.

"Yes sir." Nodded Lien-Da as she entered a few commends on a device on her wrist, causing the hologram of the Chaos Emerald to disappear and be replaced of Alex arriving to Mobius, fighting with the Freedom Fighters, and the duel between Eggman and Alex. All of the Grandmasters were impressed and in awe of the otherworldly duelist.

"As you can see, this young man is NOT from this world, as he was transported here by Chaos Control," growled Eggman as some of the video showed the four elemental Twilight Xyz monsters destroying his robots, and then Number 123: Twilight Paladin Dragon defeating his Xyz monsters, "and has the ability to bring forth creature we've never seen before"

"Anything elsssse we ssssshould about thisssss boy?" asked Mordred as he looked at the Xyz Monsters with intrest.

"Well, thanks to 'Project Deadly Cuddles', We were able to more information and it seems that Alex was able to teach Sonic and some of his friends to play the game." Dr. Eggman answered as footage of Alex dueling against Sonic and then, Sonic and Alex dueling against a Barian-controlled Mina.

"Dr. Eggman," called Orbot as everyone in the room looked at the orb robot,"The energy signatures coming from the monsters that Alex and Sonic brought in battle, well… you might want to take a look." The hologram of the videos disappeared, as a chart between Number 48: Godspeed Mirage and Number 123: Twilight Paladin Dragon, both showing power levels equal to one another, then a map of Mobius was showned as three blue blips and one red blip were on it. The red blip and first blue blip were over New Mobotropolis, a second blue blip was over a mountian in Eurish, and the third blue blip was over somewhere in Yurashia. "It seems that Number 48 had come with others, while the energy signature over at Yurashia is stronger then the two blue energies, yet different from Number 123."

"Hmm…" pondered Eggman, thinking about what his robot said, then came up with an idea, "Conquring Storm," the female lyn Mobian looked at the fat doctor, "I have a job for you." An evil grin formed on Eggman's face.

(Location Change - Mobius - New Mobotropolis - Freedom H.Q.)

Everything was quiet over at New Mobotropolis, no Eggman attacks were made, even since Alex defeated the evil doctor in a duel. Everyone in the city was doing their usual things in life, and some of the citizens were dueling.

Inside Freedom H.Q., the Freedom Fighters were somewhat relaxing. Manic and Sonia, now a part of the Freedom Fighters after showing what they can do, were talking with their mother, Aleena. Tails, Fiona, and Rotor were in their lab, Tails working on a computer and while Rotor and Fiona were building a vehicle of sorts, almost finishing it. Sally, Bunnie, and Nicole were in the meeting room, looking over a map. Sonic, Antoine, and Alex were in the training room, practicing with different sword styles with their weapons. Cream and Amy were in the kitchen, baking some cookies for everyone.

Everything was peaceful, until Nicole's voice was heard throughout the H.Q., "Everyone!" Everything was stopped as the Freedom Fighter looked at the intercom. "Sally wants you all in the meeting room right now!" Everyone left the rooms they were in and walked towards the meeting room. Upon entering the meeting room, they all saw Sally, Bunnie, and Nicole looking at a map of Mobius. A large blue spot was pulsing over on a continent on the map.

"What's up Sal?" asked Sonic as he the serious look on his girlfriend's face.

"Guys, take a look at the map," Sally suggested as everyone looked at the map, "There's something going on over at the continent of Yurashia."

"So, I'm sure this is something monkey boy can handle." shrugged Sonic in a non-caring manner, as he remembered his rivalry with fellow Freedom Fighter, Monkey Khan.

Sally glared at her boyfriend and answered, "I've been trying to contact Monkey Khan, but I didn't receive any kind of answers."

"Anything else we should know Sally?" asked Alex as he was staring at the blue blip on the map.

Sally looked at the human Freedom Fighter, then turned her attention towards Nicole, who nodded as she typed something on a keyboard. "Yes Alex, there is," answered Sally as a chart formed next to the map, which showed Number 48: Godspeed Mirage and its energy stats that Nicole recorded, "it seems there was an energy spike over at Yurashia, an energy that is similar to Number 48, maybe even stronger."

Everyone in the room were surprised to hear something like that. Sonia, Manic, and Aleena were quiet as they looked at one another.

"So our mission is to go over to Yurashia and find the energy source before Eggman does." instructed Sally as everyone looked the princess, "So me, Sonic, Amy, Tails, Sonia, Manic, and Alex will go to Yurashia, got it?" Those that were mentioned nodded as Sally nodded back. Everyone left the room to get their stuff ready.

-Few minutes later-

(Location Change - New Mobotropolis - King Frederick's Airfield)

The Freedom Fighters were over at the airfield in New Mobotropolis. Sonic and Sally were talking about the mission, Sonia and Manic were with Aleena, Amy was waiting impatiently, Tails was nowhere to be seen, and Alex was leaning against a wall thinking.

'So a power source that is similar to Sonic's Number card.' thought Alex as he had his eyes closed, 'What's going on, first was me being transported to Mobius, next was Number 123 revealing itself to me,' without noticing, Amy was walking towards the thinking Alex, 'after that was Number 48 with Sonic, and now I got some beings from another world are hunting me and Sonic down, what's next?'

"ALEX!" yelled Amy as she startled the human. Alex looked at the pink hedgehog Mobian, who had annoyed look on her face, "I've been calling your name and you haven't answered!" Amy then calmed down as she was now sporting a concerned look, "If there's something wrong, you can talk to any of the Freedom Fighters."

Alex saw Amy's concerned face and said, "Sorry Amy, it just that a lot stuff going through my head lately."

"That's alright Alex, everyone's going through a rough time," reassured Amy, "dealing with Eggman and other baddies from time to time, and now a new evil is after you and Sonic-" Amy stopped at what she was saying and started waving her hands frantically, "Not that I'm blaming you about it!"

Alex smiled as he got off the wall, "It's all right Amy, I get what you're saying, don't worry about it."

"All right," smiled Amy as she took Alex's hand (A.N.: no Amy/OC shipping going on), "now come on, our ride is ready." And started to drag Alex towards the airstrip, to see a jumbo jet plane, ready for takeoff.

"Nice of you to join us Alex." scolded Sally, with her arms crossed on her chest.

"Sorry," apologized Alex, rubbing the back of his head, "I was kinda thinking to myself, lost in my thoughts."

Sally sighed at the human's excuse, then gave a smile, "It's all right, now come on, time to board the Freedom Special."

"All right," sighed Alex as he entered the ship, followed by Manic, Sonia, Sonic, Amy, and Sally. Once inside the ship, Alex saw Tails in the pilot seat, getting everything ready for flight.

Tails turned the pilot seat around so he was facing his friends and announced, "All right everyone, in T-minus 5 minutes, we're about to take off, so it'll take a day or so to get over to Stromtop Village."

"Got it, thanks buddy." Said Sonic as he gave his two-tailed friend a thumbs-up, he then turned towards Alex, who already took a seat, and asked, "You feeling alright dude, never ridden on a plane before?"

Alex looked at the blue hedgehog and answered, "I have Sonic, I usually sleep through the flight." And Alex closed his eyes.

Sonic sweat-dropped at the human, then looked at his friends who sweat-dropped as well. As the rest of the Freedom Fighter took their seats, the jet plane started to move, and then took off.

(Location Change - Mobius - The EggDome)

"All right you two," said Eggman as he stared at two Mobians in front of him. On the left was a male grey wolf Mobian with orange eyes, red body armor with a blue-purple cape, and mechicanical boots. On the right was a large orange-brown dingo Mobian with green eyes, yellow hair, green shorts with a brown belt, purple glasses, brown gloves, gold earrings, and a robotic left leg. Eggman pulled out a folder and handed it o the wolf Mobian, "Inside this folder is your target," informed Dr. Eggman as the two Mobians were looking over the contents in the folder, "You'll be going to Yurashia with Conquring Storm to find the target, capture And bring said target to me."

"Of course my good doctor," answered the wolf Mobian with an oily voice, as he gave Dr. Eggman a greedy smile, "Nothing has escaped from our grasp, Sleet and Dingo, the Bounty Hunters," Sleet the Wolf then held out his hand, "if the price is right, of course."

"Yeah, uh, what Sleet said." said the dingo Mobian with a idiotic Downunda (Australian) accent. (Author Notes: I don't mean any disrespect towards Australia or anyone reading this chapter.)

"Dingo, shut up." ordered Sleet to his companion with annoyed look.

"Sorry Sleet..." muttered Dingo as Dr. Eggman was growing more impatient as the Bounty hunters as they were beginning to argue with each other.

"SHUT UP!" yelled Dr. Eggman, scaring the bounty hunters, "YOU'LL GET APID ONCE YOU'VE CAPTURED THE TARGET AND BRING'EM HERE, GOT?!" Sleet and Dingo nodded in fear, "NOW GET OUT OF HERE AND DO YOUR JOB!" Both bounty hunters ran of the command center after that last command, leaving Eggman alone in his thoughts.

-Few Minutes Later-

"Man, that bloke got some lungs, huh Sleet?" asked Dingo as he and Sleet were walking through a hallway in the EggDome.

"Yeah, now I know why everyone in Mobius calls him a blowhard," stated Sleet as he was looking over the information he was given, "Our target's name is Roll Cyber Sakurai, and from what Eggman's spies stated, she was last seen in Yurashia."

Dingo looked over his partner's shoulder to see a head shot photo of a yellow hedgehog-fox hybrid Mobian with yellow-green eyes. Ding's eyes somehow developed hearts once he saw the picture. "Hey Sleet, she's a cutie." Commented the idiotic dingo Mobian as his partner rolled his eyes in disgust.

"And once again, you stupidity knows no bounds as you fall for another pretty face." Sighed Sleet as he pushed Dingo away from his personal space.

"I heard you two are the best bounty hunters in Mobius," challenged a voice from behind Sleet and Dingo, who stopped. Both bounty hunters turned towards the voice, Sleet pulling out a laser gun and Dingo pulling out brass knuckles, as they saw the mysterious bat Mobian/Barian, Alikai, who was leaning against the hallway's metal wall, with a devious smirk on his face. Alikai then turned his towards the bounty hunters and said, "I think the both of you are a joke."

"What was that?" growled Sleet, ready to pull the trigger of his weapon at the insane bat Mobina/Barian.

"What would you say if I gave a power that will make other bounty hunters bow to your feet?" asked Alikai with the same devious smile smirk on his face before turning into a sinister smile.

"Hah, like we'll…" Dingo stopped talking when he saw Sleet holding out his arm in front of the dingo Mobian.

"We're listening." said Sleet as he stared into Alikai's eyes.

Alikai pulled out a Duel Monster card from his vest pocket, as the card gave an ominous glow, "In my hand, is the very power I can give you," both Sleet and Dingo were mesmerized at the card, "IF you want this power, you have to do something for me first."

Sleet and Dingo's eyes turned blank as Alikai turned the card to reveal Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force, both bounty hunter's eyes glowed red and gained the Barian Emblem on their foreheads, as they spoke in a monotone voice, "Yes master…"

"Bring me the Numbers that both Alex Loredo and Sonic the Hedgehog have in control, for the sake of Barian World!" ordered Alikai as he chuckled evilly.

(Location Change - Mobius - Yurashia - Stormtop Village)

"All right everyone, we're now arriving Stormtop Village, Yurashia." Announced Tails as everyone in the jet started to wake up from their sleep. Outside the jet, there is a small village next to a large lake that was surrounded by huge mountians. Villagers were coming out of their homes to see the jet. Once the jet landed, it opened its hatch, as the villagers saw Sonic the Hedgehog exiting out of the jet, everyone we're happy to see the Hero of Mobius come to their home once again.

"Ah Sonic, welcome back to our humble village." called a voice, as Sonic looked down to see a tall male yellow lion Mobian with a dark brown mane/beard, wearing a blue and white robe. Standing next to the lion MObian was a female red fox Mobian with long black hair with violet eyes, wearing a simple pien-fu outfit consisting of a violet tunic-like top with white trim and mateching pants, black boots and armbands.

Sonic smiled and cried out, "Li Yuen, Li Moon!" Sonic descend down from the jet's stairs until he met up with the lion and fox Mobians, "Nice to see you guys again."

"Us too Sonic," greeted Li Moon as she saw Sally, Tails, Manic, and Sonia exiting out of the jet, "and I see you brought some of the Freedom Fighters with you, what's the occasion?"

"We've been trying to contact Monkey Khan, but we got no answer," answered Sally as Amy came out of the jet, "so we came by to see if everything is okay."

"I see," pondered Li Yuen as he and the others heard the crowd as they saw Alex exiting out of the jet, as the human was looking around in his new surroundings, "Sonic… Sally-Hime… who is that?"

"Huh?" Sonic looked over shoulder, to only see Alex coming down the stairs, "Oh, you mean Alex, yeah, he's a human from another world who was transported here via Chaos Control and is now a member of the Freedom Fighters." The villagers continued starring as the human in amazement as they watched Alex reached to ground level and walked towards his friends.

"Ah… I see," said Li Yuen as he and Li Moon greeted the new Freedom Fighter kindly, "Welcome to Stormtop Village, I am Li Yuen, chief of this village, and this is my granddaughter, Li Moon."

"Nice to meet you." greeted Li Moon happily.

Alex smiled as he greeted back, "Nice to meet you as well, my name is Alex Loredo."

"Now, back to the matter at hand," continued Li Yuen as the Freedom Fighter listened.

-Few minutes later-

Sonic, who was carrying Sally in his arms, was running down a dirt path, followed by Tails as the twin tailed fox as flying with Manic who was on red Extreme Gear. Sonia was riding a pink motorcycle while Amy was with her. Following behind the group was Alex, who was riding on a black motorcycle that was made for him by Tails and Rotor.

"A few days ago, a strange blue meteor fell from the sky, south from the village," explained Li Yuen, "Monkey Khan went to see it, but hasn't come back, we fear that he was attacked on the way."

"So Sally, you think Monkey Khan was attacked on the way to that meteor?" Asked Sonic.

"We don't know Sonic," answered Sally as she held on tight to Sonic, "but it could be a possibility that the Dark Egg Legion or the Iron Queen did attack him."

Tails flew in closer to the two and said, "But Regina Ferrum is still trapped at the bottom of Stormtop Village's well."

"And we haven't seen any of the Dragon Kingdom Dark Egg Legion since we got here." Added Amy when Sonia drove up towards Sonic and Sally.

"Both are good points you guys, but what else are we missing?" Pondered Sally.

Manic, who was still in the air, saw something, "Well, how about we check out the meteor, look!" He then pointed ahead, everyone looked at where he was pointing and saw a giant hole, as they all stopped at the site.

"Whew..." whistled Alex as he looked at how deep the crater is, "that is one big hole."

"No kidding." Added Sonia until she noticed something, "Uh guy, where's the meteor?"

Everyone looked down in the crater, to only see nothing, no meteor or anything.

"Ano (Um)... excuse me?" called a voice from behind the group, startling everyone. The Freedom Fighters turned around to see a 16-year-old female sunkissed blond hedgehog-fox hybrid Mobian, with a white muzzle, fox tail tip, and stomach fur, jade green eyes, wearing a black and pink tee with a heart while the fabric stretched by her… (A.N.: ...ahem) bust, figure hugging pink jeans with hearts, a jean-skirt over the jean-pants with two belts with a single heart-shaped buckle, pink and black shoes with a single heart, and a green oversized bow in her long blond hair/quills.

Sonic, Manic, and Tails blushed at the newcomer as they thought the same thing, 'C-Cute...'

"Roll, what's wrong?" called a voice as everyone heard some rustling from some bushes.

"Diana-chan, over here!" responed the hedge-fox Mobian, now known as Roll, "I found some people here, one of them is a human!"

"What?!" Coming out of the bushes was another human, a girl to be exact. The new human female was about 19-years-old with pale skin, yellow-green eyes, long blond hair, two markings on her face, wearing a navy blue shirt with a light brown tunic over it, blue short jeans with a navy blue headband, white gloves with gold bands, and grey and white hiking boots.

'Another human!?' thought both Alex and the new girl as they both had a surprised look on their faces.

"Uh Alex, do you know her?" asked Manic as Alex shook his head negatively.

"Diana-Chan, Daijobudesu (are you okay)?" Asked Roll as the new human, now known as Diana, gave the same response that Alex gave.

Everyone was silent as Alex's brown eyes stared into Diana's yellow-green eyes.

(Location Change - Mobius - Yurashia - Xavier Town)

In a small japanese-like village, lived many kinds of Mobians, whether they be pure or mixed. Everyone was either working or having fun with their families. One of the villagers, a 12-year-old male midnight-black hedgehog-fox Mobian with two tails while his muzzle, tips of his ears and tails, chest fur were snow white. His left tail's color being reversed from his right. Ice-blue eyes, ice-blue running shoes with white lines in the middle, and a pair of white gloves. This is the younger brother of Roll Cyber Sakurai, Haseo Yukimaru Sakurai.

'I wonder if Diana-chan and Roll-onee-chan found anything else in the forest," thought Haseo as he was waving to anyone he sees, 'and I have to thank Diana-chan for giving me this DUel Monster deck.' Pulling out from his hammerspace, was a deck of Duel Monster cards, and then putting them away. As he wasn't looking, Haseo ran into something hard and fell on his butt, "Ow… gomen nasai (I'm sorry)..." and then looked up to see Sleet, Dingo, Conquering Storm, and the Dragon Kingdom Dark Egg Legion glaring at Haseo.

"Hello… little boy…" glared Sleet as he gave Haseo, who had fear in his eyes, a sinister smile and chuckle.

(Location Change - Mobius - Yurashia - Outskirts of Xaviar Town)

"I seee, so you were transported from your sekai (world) to Mobius Alex-san?" asked Roll as she, Diana, and the Freedom Fighters were walking down a path towards Xaviar Town. After what happened at the crater, both Alex and Diana introduced themselves to break the ice.

"That's right Roll, "answered Alex with a smile, "I was transported from Earth to Mobius via Chaos Control, " then looked at Diana, "and I to guess, you were transported to Mobius by Chaos Control as well Diana?" he asked as everyone looked at the otherworldly female.

"Yes," answered Diana as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a cyan Chaos Emerald, "I found this in my family's flower garden at night, then it glowed and I was at Roll's home"

"Hai (Yes)!" chimmed Roll with a smile.

"I see." pondered Sally as she raised am eyebrow.

"Whoa… another Chaos Emerald sent to Earth." analyzed Tail, "Frist, we know Eggman has the blue Chaos Emerald, then lost it. Second, Shadow and G.U.N. has the red Chaos Emerald. Then, we have the green, yellow, and cyan Chaos Emeralds." Pulling out the other two colored jewels from his twin-tails, "The silver Chaos Emerald is within Mammoth Mogul. and finally, the purple Chaos Emerald is in the hands of Ixis Naugus, no thanks to Geoffrey St. John." Sonic and his friends all had a disguted look on their faces from the metion of the tratior's name, while Alex, Diana, and Roll had confused looks on their faces.

"Roll! Diana!" called a voice from the sky, causing everyone to stop walking and look up to see a male brown monkey Mobian with blue eyes, wearing a gold headband, a red vest with turquoise coat-tails, a golden staff with red jewels on both ends. Bandages were wrapped around stomach. The monkey Mobian was riding on a cloud.

Sonic, Sally, Tails, and Amy recognized the new Mobian and yelled, "Monkey Khan!"

"My friends!" cried out Khan as the cloud landed in front of the group, "I'm so gald you're here, Roll, Xaviar Town is being attacked!"

"NANI (WHAT)!" yelled Roll as she ran as fast as Sonic, back to the village.

"Whoa! She ran a fast as me!" exclaimed Sonic as everyone ran down the path towards the village.

(Location Change - Mobius - Yurashia - Xaviar Town)

Many Mobians were running in fear from the EggSwats and Legionnaires. Homes were being destroyed in the process and Mobians were being captured. As an EggSwat destroyed the front door of a house, it saw a cat-rabbit mixed Mobian mother and son, both hugging each other in fright. As the robot was reaching for the trembling family, a yellow blur sliced the machine's head off, and then it knocked it back before the robot could explode. The yellow blur revealed itself to be Roll, who was wielding an army knife, as the hedge-fix Mobian looked at frightened and surprised mother and son cabbit Mobians.

"You two have to run for safety!" Ordered Roll with a concern voice.

"A-Arigato (Thank you)!" Howard the mother cannot Mobian as she picked up her child and ran.

At another part of the village, a couple of D.K. Legionnaires were leading villagers towards a giant capsule that was filling up with other mixed Mobians.

"Hey!" called a voice as the Legionnaires turned to see Sonic, with his sword on hand and running towards them. Sonic slashed some of the Legionnaires, knocking some of them out. Some tried to egt Sonic from behind, but were taken down by Sally as she sneak attacked them.

"Hurry, run and get to safety!" yelled Sally as the captives got out of the capsules.

"Nice job Sal!" complimented Sonic as he tied up some of the KO'ed Legionnaires.

"Thanks!" said Sally as she helped the last of the captives out.

At another area of the village, Sonia was taking down Legionnaires with martial arts one by one. She then ran towards a crossroad, only to be stop as Sonia was surrounded by Legionnaires. The cloaked lynx Mobians charged towards the purple hedgehog Mobian for an attack, but Sonia only gave them a smirk.

"Sorry boys, but you're not type," said Sonia as she started to spin on her heels, creating a Mobian-sized purple/pink tornado, "SONIA SPIN!" The tornado knocked the soldiers out by spinning them around. When the spinning stopped, Sonia looked at the KO'ed lynx Legionnaires with a smile on her face.

Manic was running until he was stopped by four D.K. Legionnaires. As he was about to run back at the other direction, four more Legionnaires blocked his path. Manic was surrounded by eight Legionnaires, as he looked for a way escape. "Can we talk?" asked Manic as all eight Legionnaires pounced at the green hegdehog Mobian, "Guess not!" he yelled. As the D.E.L. started to punch "him" to the ground, Manic come out of the pile as he switched places with another Legionnaire. Manic gave out a small chuckle while dusting himself until he looked at the group, "Oh boy…" he muttered to himself as he saw a stack of wooden crates. Manic walked behind the crates, started to push them as they landed on the Legionnaires. Manic then ran off to help the other.

Amy and Tails were helping the escaping villagers to find shelter. 3 EggSwat robots came to the scene, ready to take some of the villagers. Amy, armed with her Piko-Piko Hammer, charged towards one of the EggSwats.

"Leave them alone!" yelled Amy as she swung her hammer to the right leg of the firstEggSwat, then smashed its head.

Tails was flying as he threw a few electro rings towards the secondEggSwat, nut the robot caught the rings, causing the rings to electrocute the EggSwat and then explode.

"Man, Eggman must be losing his touch, IQ of 300, yeah right - WAAH!" A third EggSwat caught Tails while he wasn't looking, "Let me go you stupid piece of junk!"

A familiar red and yellow hammer was flying in the air as it hit the back of the4 EggSwat, causing it to land and let go of Tails. Amy jumped into the air to grab her falling Piko-Piko Hammer, then smashed the robot's head, Amy looked at a dazed Tails, worried, "You okay Tails?"

Tails shook his head, getting rid of his dizziness, "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for the help Amy."

Over at the shopping district in the village, Alex and Diana were fighting some EggSwat robots, while protecting some children. Alex was slashing any robots that came near him with the sword he was given, while Diana defended the children with a Chinese sword she found.

"Just four more to go!" examined Alex as he dodged one of the robots' attacks.

"Yeah!" replied Diana as she saw a EggSwqat coming near the mixed Mobian children, "Stay away from them!" Diana jumped over the children with grace and slashed the robot's arms and then stabbed it. The robot started to spark as it fell on its back.

"Nice job." commented Alex as he vertically slashed a EggSwat that came near the human male.

"Thanks." Said Diana until she noticed the last two EggSwats we're charging towards Alex, "Look out!" She then threw her sword at one of the robots which got closed to Alex, which it was stabbed in the head.

Alex looked at the stabbed robot, then looked at Diana with interest as he took the sword from the robot's head, "Thanks." Said Alex as he started to attack the last robot with multiple duel slash aattacks until the EggSwat fell into pieces. Alex walked up to Diana and gave her back the sword.

"Thank you," nodded Diana to Alex as she turned her attention towards the mixed Mobian children, "you're staying with us until we find your families, okay?"

"His Diana-onee-chan!" Agreed the children as the group ran out of the market place to find the kid's families.

Back with Roll, the speedy hedge-fox Mobian was speeding through the village, taking down EggSwat robots and Legionnaires, until she reached to her designation, her home. As she entered the house, she saw it was dark inside, except for a light that was shining over Haseo, who was tied up to a chair with a piece of cloth over his mouth.

"Haseo-chan!" cried Roll as she quickly ran to her little brother, trying to untie the rope, "Don't worry, I'll get you out." Haseo was trying to say something, as he saw both Sleet and Dingo sneaking behind Roll. "All right, here we go…" Roll finally got the cloth off of Haseo's mouth.

"Onee-chan, behind you!" yelled Haseo as both Sleet and Dingo jumped towards Roll, with elector sticks in hands all ready to stun.

Roll dodged the attacks, and started a counter-attack against the bounty hunters. Dingo threw a punch towards Roll, but missed when Roll rolled out of the way and the punch made a hole in the wall. Sleet pulled out a blaster and loaded it with tranquilizer darts, then fired a few shots at the speedy hedge-fox Mobian, who dodged them, as the darts hit a few breakable items in the room. As Roll was running, she stopped on top of a orange "rug".

'Wait, orange rug?' Thought Roll in confusion, until the "rug" moved and wrapped around Roll, trapping her, "What the!?"

"Got her Sleet." called Dingo's voice as a pair of eyes revealed themselves on the rug.

"Good job Dingo," complimented Sleet as he pulled out a remote, pressed a button as a beam of light shot towards Rug-Dingo, hits the rug and transforming Dingo back to normal, while the dingo Mobian was holding Roll in his arms, "for once, you done something right."

"Heheh, thanks." said Dingo as he held onto Roll tight in his arms.

"Ugh, let me go you bakas (Idoits)!" struggled Roll as Sleet placed metal shackles on Roll's ankles.

"Sorry little girl," antagonized Sleet as he placed metal shackles on Roll's wrist next, "but we need you and your little brother for a trap we have in store for our next target."

Dingo then lifted both Roll and Haseo onto his shoulders and, "So Sleet, is everything ready?" he asked to his partner as Dingo's eyes glowed red for a bit.

Sleet's eyes also glowed red a bit as well and answered, "Of course Dingo, Master Alikai gave us the power to take down anyone who gets in his way." Then both Sleet and Dingo started to laugh evilly, but unbeknown est to them, a Dark Egg Legionnaire and two other unknown Mobians were watching them in the shadows.

Over at the Town Square, the Freedom Fighters (minus Roll) met up next to a fountain.

"Glad you guys made it out of the battle alive, "sighed Sally with relieve, "Monkey Khan left to take care of his injuries."

"I was wondering where monkey boy went to." muttered Sonic as Sally glared at him.

"We took down the enemy, so now what?" asked Amy as she looked around as everyone was tired from the fighting.

"How about giving us the Number cards?!" yelled a voice as everyone looked towards the direction of the voice to see Sleet and Dingo, Dingo was holding both Roll and Haseo hostages.

"Roll! Haseo!" gasped Diana in fright to her friends in danger.

"Ya heard wha' Sleet said, give us th' Number cards in your possession!" yelled Dingo as he held a tight grip on both Roll and Haseo's chains.

Sonic glared at the bounty hunters, "All right you clowns, who are you?!"

"Oh so sorry, forgive us," apologized Sleet sarcastically as he gave the heroes a sadistic smile, "I'm called Sleet, " he then turned pointed towards his partner, "and that's my partner, Dingo, we are world renown bounty hunters!"

"Never heard of you." said everyone in a deadpan tone, causing both Sleet and Dingo to facefault, with Dingo still holding his captive's chains in the air.

"ARE YOU ALL IDIOTS!?" yelled Sleet as both he and Dingo got back up.

Alex glared at the bounty hunters, "So,did Alikai put you two up to this, trying to take both mine and Sonic's Number cards?"

Diana looked at Alex, hearing what he just said, 'Numbers… both he and the blue hedgehog have Number card?!' She thought in shock.

"Of course, Master Alikai wants that would've belong to him." answered Sleet as he snapped his fingers, ordering Dingo nails the sibling's chains to the ground, "so, what do you say to a duel?" Both Sleet and Dingo pulled out standard colored Duel Disk with decks inside.

"A duel between you two against me and Sonic, for our Numbers and the lives of two Mobians, Alikai must be really insane to do this!" yelled Alex as he pulled out his Duel Disk and D-Gazer, "All right, you're…"

"Hold it!" cried out Diana as she walked up towards Alex with a standard D-Pad on her arm, "Alex, let me be your partner for this duel, Roll and her brother helped me when I came to this world, and now I want to help them by saving them."

Alex stared at Diana, seeing the determination in her eyes, then turned his attention to Sonic, "What do you say Sonic, you mind stepping out of this duel?"

Sonic thought about for a while after seeing the fire in Diana's eyes, he nodded yes.

Alex nodded, "All right Diana, get ready, because the game is about to begin!" Alex then raised his left arm that had his Duel Disk, "Duel Disk, Set!" All four duelist's Duel Disks activated , "D-Gazer, Set!" Alex's glassees shined, Diana gained a strange marking on her left eye which glowed, while both Sleet and Dingo's left eyes glowed red.

-A.R. VISION, LINK ESTABLISHED- the area around the duelist digitalized as the D-gazers on the Freedom Fighters shined as well.

"DUEL!" yelled the competitors.

"Watashi no turn, Draw!" called Alex as he drew his new card (ALEX: 5 - 6), "Twilight Buster Warrior LV4, Shoukan!" The red-coat bladed-helmet young boy with the giant sword on his back appeared. (ALEX: 6 - 5)

/TWILIGHT BUSTER WARRIOR LV4/LIGHT/DARK/Warrior/Effect/LV: 4/(ATK): 1800/DEF: 1600/

"Next, Spell Card, Double Summon, Hatsudo!" Alex takes another card from his hand and plays it on his Duel Disk. The card appeared in front of Alex revealing a spellcaster chanting a spell in front of a beast (ALEX: 5 - 4), "This card allows me to Normal Summon a second time this turn, Twilight Battle Wolf, Shoukan!" A red and silver armored wolf appeared next to the LV4 Buster Warrior, bearing its teeth towards it's master's opponents. (ALEX: 4 - 3)

/TWILIGHT BATTLE WOLF/LIGHT/DARK/Beast/Union/LV: 4/(ATK): 1500/DEF: 1200/

"Heh, what's that little beastie suppose to be, your pet?!" asked Dingo as he laugh at the newly summoned monster, which growled at the idiotic mobian.

"How about I show you, Twilight Battle Wolf no kouka hatsudo!" yelled Alex as the wolf glowed as it jumped to the air, "Twilight Battle Wolf is a special type of monster known as Union Monster, which allows me to equip him into any 'Twilight' monster I control, and I choose my Twilight Buster Warrior LV4!" The wolf turned into yellow and purple energy as shot towards Twilight Buster Warrior LV4. The wolf turned into armor, as the young warrior had the wolf's head as a helmet, the wolf's claws on his hand and feet, and the wolf's body turned into a bodysuit, and the wolf's tail turned into energy blades, making Twilight Warrior LV4 look like a miniature werewolf.

/TWILIGHT BUSTER WARRIOR LV4/ATK: 1800 - 2300/DEF: 1600 - 2100/

Sonic whistled, "Now that's interesting."

"Uh... why did his monster's Attack and Defense points go up?" asked Dingo stupidly.

Alex gave Dingo an all knowing smirk, "When Twilight Battle Wolf is equipped to a 'Twilight' monster, the equipped monster gains 500 points to his ATK and DEF." And then took another card from his hand and set it into his duel disk (ALEX: 3 - 2), "Kaado ichi mai settei, Turn End." The holographic card formed in front of Alex as he ended his turn.

"Oro no turn, Draw!" cried out Sleet as he drew his next card (SLEET: 5 - 6), took out a and placed it face-down on the monster zone, "Monsuta setto!" The face-down monster formed in front of Sleet, confusing both Alex and Diana. (SLEET: 6 - 5)

'What the, Sleet is allowed to attack on his first turn, is he trying for a flip effect or something?' thought Alex as he stared at the face-down monster.

Diana glared at the face-down, thinking the same thing.

"Kaado san mai settei, Turn End." finished Sleet as three more face-down cards appeared in of Sleet. (SLEET: 5-2)

"Watashi no turn, Draw!" said Diana as she drew next card (DIANA:5 - 6), "Spell Card, Hieratic Seal of Convocation, Hatsudo!" A Spell Card appeared in front of Diana, with an image of two purple dragons with gold armor flying around a golden orb, "This card allows me to add 1 'Hieratic' monster from my deck to my hand," A card slid out of Diana's duel disk as Diana took the card and played, "Hieratic Dragon of Eset, Shoukan!" An odd golden sphere emerged with multiple cracks, lavender-colored energy within the cracks. Then the energy shined, causing the sphere to open and convert around the energy, becoming a dragonic form with two wings, a helmet with small silver "wings", a spear-ended tail, and a symbol on his back. Two red eyes and a mouth formed on the head, and then it let out a roar. (DIANA: 6 - 5)

/HIERATIC DRAGON OF ESET/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/LV: 5/(ATK): 1900/DEF: 1200/

'So, Diana uses a Hieratic deck,' thought Alex as he looked at his partner with smirk on his face, 'Some say that archtype is hard to master, would be interesting to see her use it properly.'

"Hold on!" yelled Sleet as he pointed to Diana, "You can't summon a Level 5 monster without tributing a monster, you're cheating!"

"Normally, that would be the case, but," countered Diana as she glared at the wolf Mobian, "Eset's card effect allows me to Normal Summon it without a tribute, but its ATK becomes 1000." Eset glowed as it's lost some power.

/HIERATIC DRAGON OF ESET/ATK: 1900 - 1000/

"Next, I tribute Eset to Special Summon a monster from my hand, Hieratic Dragon of Su, Tokushu Shoukan!" cried out Diana as Eset curled back into a sphere, but the cracks changed. The energy within changed from lavender to sky blue, then the sphere opened up again, expelling the energy. Both of Diana's dragons turned into fully yellow (Hieratic Dragon of Su) and purple (Labradorite Dragon) energies as they shot towards the sky, a red portal formed in front of Diana, "Ni tai no monsuta, Obarei Netwaaku kochiku (With these two monster, I build the Overlay Network)! Ekushisu Shoukan!" As the energies dived into the portal, a gold orb came out of the portal as the orb gained a cobalt energy, then the sphere opened up, expelling the energy. "Shiiru o yaburu (Break the seal)! Hieratic Dragon King of Atum!"The energy and sphere pieces formed a new dragon, but more humanoid with rigged wing armor, head similar to Blue-Eyes White Dragon, body armor with the symbol on the chest plate, armor plates on the legs. Two yellow orbs orbited around the new dragon as it gave out a roar.

The armored dragon roared as it fired a blast of energy from its mouth towards the face-down card, which flipped to reveal a wolf with robotic parts on the head, torso, and back legs.

Atum's attack hit its Mark, destroying the wolf. "Trap Card, Call of Vendetta, Hatsudo!" yelled Sleet as his middle face-down card revealed to be a Trap Card with the image of Alpha Techwolf howling in the moon as other Techwolf came towards the first one, "When a monster I control is destroyed in battle; I can Special Summon the destroyed monster in ATK mode!" The Alpha Techwolf that was destroyed by Diana's dragon came back to the field, growling as Sleet continued explaining his Trap, "But, the monster that summoned by this Trap have their ATK become 0, but the monster that destroyed my monster loses ATK equal to my monster's original ATK!" The Trap Card glowed purple as it fired a beam towards both Techwolf and Atum, sapping their energy.

Sleet gasped in fright at what his idiotic partner done as a giant brown brachiosaurus with a excavator shovel for a mouth and power shovels for arms and legs formed in front of Dingo. Sleet then glared at Dingo and yelled, "You imbecile, can't you think straight?"

Diego looked at Sleet confused, "Wha'? Whadda I do wrong?"

Sleet growled at his partner's stupidity, "You summoned a level 4 monster with 2000 Attack points and didn't think it had a drawback effect?" Shovelsaurus roared as it turned towards its master, "Your monster may cost us half our Life points!"

"Wuh?" Dingo looked at the card, "I just played the biggest number in my hand, and how shoulda I've known it was doing that?"

Sleet face-palmed as he press a button on his Duel Disk, "...Looks like I'm going to have to help out a little." One of Sleet's face-down cards revealed itself to be a Trap card with the image of someone cutting a blue wire on a bomb with the red wire glow shining, "Trap Card, Miswire, Hatsudo!"

Alex looked at the card with card with caution, "What does that card do?"

"I'm glad you asked me that," said Sleet with smug smile, "whenever I would take damage by card effect by a card I control, I can inflict damage equal to half I would take to my opponent!" Shovelsaurus then started digging the ground , throwing rubble towards Sleet and Dingo, until a barrier protected the bounty hunters and bounced back towards Alex and Diana, hitting them.

ALEX/ALEX-SAN! DIANA/DIANA-CHAN!" yelled the Freedom Fighter and hostages in panic, only to sigh in relived to see the humans okay, despite a few scratches on them.

"All right Dingo, ordered Shovelsaurus to attack Hieratic Dragon King of Atum." Instructed Sleet.

"Got it Sleet," said Dingo as he pointed towards Atum, "all right Shovelsaurus, do wha' Sleet asked us to do!" Shovelsaurus roared as it charged towards Atum.

"Trap Card, Twilight Barrier, Hatsudo!" countered Alex as his face-down card revealed itself as the yellow and purple yin-yang shield appeared before Atum, "Since I control a 'Twilight' monster, I can negate your monster's attack!" Shovelsaurus hit the shield as it was sent back towards Sleet and Dingo.

"Uh... Wha' now Sleet?" asked Dingo stupidly.

"Ugh! This, Spell Card, Primal Hunt, Hatsudo!" yelled Sleet as his last face-down card revealed to be a Quick-Play Spell card with the image of Twin-Headed King Rex with glowing red eyes and a raging aura on it, "This card can only activate when a monster me and my partner controls attack is negated, I can reduce the ATK of the attack target by half and Shovelsaurus can attack again." Shovelsaurus' eyes turned bright red as it gained blazing red aura around it. "Now, Hieratic Dragon King of Atum's ATK is cut in half again!" Atum gained a red aura similar to Shovelsaurus', but it caused the Dragon King pain.

/HIERATIC DRAGON KING OF ATUM/ATK: 1200 - 600/

"All right Dingo, have Shovelsaurus attack Atum again." ordered Sleet with a sinister grin.

"Ya' got it Sleet," grinned Dingo, "All right Shovelsaurus, attack Atum again!" Shovelsaurus roared in power as it charged towards the weaken Dragon, ramming the dragon in full force and successfully destroying it.

"No, Atum!" cried Diana as she pressed a button on her Duel Disk, "We're not going down that easily, Trap Card, Xyz Reborn, Hatsudo!" One of Diana's face-down cards revealed itself to be a Trap Card with the image of a golden amulet on it, "This Trap card allows me to Special Summon an Xyz Monster in my Graveyard, come on back, Hieratic Dragon King of Atum!" The humanoid dragon returned to the field through the purple portal on the ground, as the Trap card glowed and turned into a yellow orb and orbited around Atum, "But that's not all, Xyz Reborn becomes an Overlay Unit to the summoned Xyz monster."

The wolf armor on Buster Warrior LV4 glowed as it separated from the warrior, back into wolf form, "Once per turn, I can Special Summon my Battle Wolf from a its equipment form back into its beast form, meaning my Buster Warrior loses its power boost."

The three monsters turned into purple-yellow energy as they shot to the air as a red portal formed in front of Alex, the energies then entered the portal, "Hikari to yami de, Obarei Netwaaku kochiku (With light and darkness, I construct the Overlay Network)! Ekushisu Shoukan!" A burst of wind came out of nowhere, "Arawareyo (Appear)! Twilight Storm Eagle!" A large bird-like creature was flying above the duel, with light green, red, and dark brown feathers and silver turbines on the wings, it screeched as it came to Alex as three different colored orbs (yellow = LIGHT, purple = DARK, green = WIND) orbited around the bird.

/TWILIGHT STORM EAGLE/ATK: 2100 - 3100/ (gained 1000 ATK from Twilight Energy Channeler)

"Go Alex-san!" cried Roll and Haseo, remembering what Diana taught them in the game.

"Shut up!" yelled Sleet to his captives.

"All right, this is it, go Twilight Storm Eagle!" ordered Alex as his Storm Eagle took flight, "Attack Alpha Techwolf!" The turbines on the bird's wings started to turn as Storm Eagle gave a giant beat of its wings, creating a hurricane towards the Sleet's monster.

"Sorry mate, not happening! Trap Card, Living Wall, Hatsudo!" yelled Dingo as his face-down card revealed itself as a Trap with the image of a fat king ordering his sacred soldiers to protect him, "When an attack is declared on a monster me or Sleet controls; I can redirect the attack to another monster I control and it cannot be destroyed by battle," Shovelsaurus moved in front of Alpha Techwolf, "so my monster takes the hit!"

"But you'll still take damage from the battle!" exclaimed Alex as the hurricane slammed into Shovelsaurus, who tried to push it back, but some of the razor winds hit both Sleet and Dingo.

"Kaado ichi mai settei, Turn End." finished Alex as the Freedom Fighters and the bounty hunters' captives cheered for their friends. (ALEX: 2 - 1)

"Oro no Turn, Draw!" said Sleet as he drew his next card (SLEET: 2 - 3), "Alpha Techwoll no kouka hatsudo!" The lone wolf monster on Sleet's field howled to the sky, "Once per turn, I can Special Summon one Alpha Techwolf from hand." Sleet took a card from his hand and placed it on his Duel Disk, "Alpha Techwolf, Tokushu Shoukan!" A second Techwolf to the right of the first Techwolf. (SLEET: 3 - 2)

"So what, now like its going to do anything to our monsters." exclaimed Diana.

'I wonder, if I'm guessing correctly, he must have...' thought Alex.

"Wait, you have the third one in your hand already!" yelled Diana as a third Alpha Techwolf formed to the left of the first, as all three growled at their master's opponents. (SLEET: 2 - 1)

"There's no way possible to get three of the same monster in your hand that easy and know what card you're drawing!" yelled Alex as he pointed accordingly towards Sleet and Dingo, "You two must've rigged your Duel Disk's Auto-Shuffle function!" Everyone gasped as they heard both Sleet and Dingo laughing.

"That's right!" laughed Sleet.

"We even stacked our own decks to help each other!" laughed Dingo as both Diana and Alex growled at the two bounty hunters.

"Those creeps, I'm gonna..." Amy was about to interfere the duel with her hammer, until she was stopped by Sonic.

"Amy, let those two deal with cheaters." said Sonic, surprising everyone.

"Why Sonic?" asked Tails until the blue hedgehog pointed towards Alex and Diana, who were glaring at their laughing opponents.

"Those two want to give the laughing duo a lesson, that they won't forget." said Sonic with a smirk on his face.

"Finish your turn." ordered Diana harshly.

"Very well, but first, Oro wa Reberu Yon no Alpha Techwolf no ni, OBAREI!" yelled Sleet as his Techwolves howled as they turned into three different shades of purple, then shot towards the air and dived into a red portal in front of Sleet, "San tai no monsaatu, Obarei Netwaaku Joachim (With these three monster, I build the Overlay Network)! Ekushisu Shoukan!" Out from the portal was mechanical wolf of some kind, with yellow eyes, a razor sharp tail and claws, two giant fang-like sabers from its mouth as it gave a mighty roar as three purple orbs around it, "Arawarereyo, Machine-Fanged Beast - Terawolf!"

A new Spell Card with the image of Shining Elf with a ring of light, formed behind Terawolf, "I can only equip this card to a face-up Xyz Monster, and it gains 200 ATK for each of its Rank, and I equip this card to my Terawolf!" The mechanical wolf gained a light aura around it as it gave a mighty howl. (SLEET: 3 - 2)

"When Terawolf destroys a monster in battle, I can detach one overlay unit from it to change the battle position of one face-up monster on the field," explained Sleet as Terawolf looked at Storm Eagle, "I select Twilight Storm Eagle to go from Attack to Defense!" Terawolf gave a mighty dark howl to Storm Eagle, causing the bird monster to land in front of Alex and fold its wings in front as a shield.

"But why?" asked Alex as he gasped to see his monster gained a dark aura.

"I wasn't finished, if I do choose to change a monster's battle position, I can choose to either make it lose 600 ATK or DEF," explained Sleet as he gave a dark evil smile, "and I choose to make Twilight Storm Eagle to lose 600 DEF!"

/TWILIGHT STORM EAGLE/DEF: 1700 - 1100/

"Kaado no mai settei, Turn End." finished Sleet as two face-down cards appeared in front of him. (SLEET: 2 - 0)

"Watashi no turn, Draw!" yelled Diana as she drew her next card (DIANA: 2 - 3), "I'm going to make you pay for mocking the game of Duel Monsters. Spell Card, Monster Reborn, Hatsudo!" The classic Spell card formed in front of Diana as it gave a golden glow, "This card allows me to Special Summon any monster from any player's Graveyard," the purple summoning portal formed, "and I choose my monster, Hieratic Dragon of Eset, Tokushu Shoukan!" The lavender energy dragon returned to field as it gave a roar. (DIANA: 3 - 2)

"So brought back a weakling Dragon, so what?" sneered Sleet.

"I'm not done, I banish Hieratic Dragon King of Atum and Labradorite Dragon from my Graveyard!" yelled Diana as the two cards were ejected out of the Duel Disk and Diana pocketed them, then took another card from her hand and played it, "Hieratic Dragon of Asar, Tokushu Shoukan!" A golden orb formed in front of Diana as it begin to give yellow-green energy, then the orb transformed, a yellow-green Chinese dragon in golden armor, which covered most of its body and wings, with the Hieratic Dragon symbol on the chest. The dragon's eyes shined yellow as it gave a mighty roar. (DIANA: 2 - 1)

"Now Asar, attack Shovelsaurus!" ordered Diana as the Chinese dragon flew towards the Dingo's monster, ready to strike.

"I don't think so, Trap Card, Phyrric Force, Hatsudo!" yelled Sleet as his face-down revealed itself to be a Trap card with the image of Master Gig forming a barrier to block Road Warrior's attack, "When an attack is declared between a monster we (Sleet and Dingo) control and a monster he both you (Alex and Diana) control," a barrier formed around Shovelsaurus and stop Asar's attack, "I can negate the attack and end the battle phase!" Diana gritted her teeth as she glared Sleet, "Don't be discouraged my beauty, my Trap allows all players to draw one card." The four duelist then drew one card from their decks. (ALEX: 1 - 2/SLEET: 0 - 1/DIANA: 1 - 2/DINGO: 4 - 5)

"Fine, Kaado ni mai settei, Turn End." sighed Diana as she placed the last two cards in her hand into her Duel Disk as they appeared face-down in front of her. (DIANA: 2 - 0)

"Boku no turn, Draw!" yelled Dingo as he drew a new card (DINGO: 5 - 6), "All right, Gorosaurus, Shoukan!" A stegosaurs-like creature with buzzsaws on its back, armored plated formed in front of Dingo, yellow eyes glaring at Alex and Diana as it growled. (DINGO: 6 - 5)

Sleet's left eye twitched once he saw Dingo's New monster, "Dingo, did you have that monster in your hand the whole time?" asked Sleet as he was glaring at his partner.

"Uh... Yeah!" answered Dingo.

Sleet looked ready to walk over to his partner to strangle him, but took a deep breath and calmed down, "Never mind, now what are you going to do next?" asked Sleet as he gritted his teeth.

"Uh... Oh yeah! Oro wa Reberu Yon no Shovelsaurus, Gorosaurus, OBAREI!" Both dinosaurs roared as they turned into orange energy as they flew to the sky as a red portal formed in front of Dingo, "Ni tai no monsaatu, Obarei Netwaaku Joachim (With these two monster, I build the Overlay Network)! Ekushisu Shoukan!" As the two energies dived into the portal, a mighty roar was heard, "Arawarereyo, Tyranthalsaurus!" A red-brown tyrannosaurus with a metal chest plates, a robotic right arm and left leg, and half of its head being robotic with yellow eyes. All of the robotic limbs looked like junk, as the new monster roared with two orange orbs orbiting around it.

"Hehe, thanks Sleet," said Dingo with a idiotic smile, then glared at his opponent's, "next, Tyranthalsaurus no kouka hatsudo!" One of the orange orbs flew into the dinosaur's metal chest as Tyranthalsaurus gave a mighty roar, "Once per turn, I can detach one Overlay Unit from my monster for it to gain 500 ATK and inflict piercing damage until the end of the turn!" The junk tyranny gained a orange aura around it as its strength grew.

"Alex, Diana, watch out!" cried out Tails.

"All right Dingo, have your monster attack Storm Eagle!" ordered Sleet with a maniacal smile.

"You got it Sleet," said Dingo as he looked at his monster, "go Tyranthalsaurus, attack Storm Eagle with Tyrant Bite!" The junk dinosaur roared as it charged towards Storm Eagle, opening its mouth wide open to eat.

"I think not, Spell Card, Quick Summon, Hatsudo!" yelled Alex as one of his face-down cards revealed itself to be a Quick-Play Spell with an image of two workmen heading towards red light, "This card allows me to summon a monster, despite being my opponent's turn!" Alex took a card from his hand and sent Storm Eagle's card with its Overlay Unit to the Graveyard, "I tribute my Storm Eagle, Twilight Drain Archfiend, Adobansu Shoukan!" Storm Eagle disappeared as a new monster appear, a humanoid demon monster with purple flesh, yellow skeletal armor, curved horns on its head with glowing red eyes, clawed hands, two giant black wings were unfolded as it gave a menacing growl as it went down to one knee and crossed its arms, meaning that it's in defense. (ALEX: 2 - 1)

/TWILIGHT DRAIN ARCHFIEND/LIGHT/DARK/Fiend/Effect/LV: 6/ATK: 2200/(DEF): 2500/

"Aw man, what do I now Sleet?" asked Dingo as Sleet looked at his stupid partner.

Alex looked at the two, then gained sneaky idea as he grin, "Yeah Sleet, what can your partner do?" Everyone, including Roll and Haseo, looked at Alex as if he gone insane, " I mean, it not like he can do anything with that Xyz Monster of his, so he made one good play until I countered it," Sleet was gaining a ticked off look as Alex continued, "I mean, I only have one monster defending me, so if he destroys it, I'll be defenseless." Alex then acted surprised and announced, "Oh no, I can't believe I said that!"

'What is this guy thinking, is trying to lose on purpose?!' thought Diana.

"Uh dude, did Alex lose his mind?" asked Manic to anyone who was heard his question.

"I have to agree with you, has he completely lost it?!" yelled Sonia

Sonic and Sally looked at Alex as they saw a smirk on the human male's face. 'What the?' thought both Sonic and Sally.

"Good idea, Dingo, attack his Archfiend!" yelled/ordered Sleet.

"Uh... Got it Sleet, go Tyranthalsaurus, attack Drain Archfiend!" ordered Dingo as Tyranthalsaurus roared and charged towards Drain Archfiend, taking a bite out of the humanoid demon's upper body, destroying it.

/ALEX & DIANA: 2200 - 1900/

Alex then gave devilishly grin, "Twilight Drain Archfiend no kouka hatsudo!" he cried out as the spirit of Twilight Drain Archfiend appeared out of nowhere, "When Drain Archfiend is sent to the Graveyard, I can equip it to any monster on the field!" The monster's spirit then flew towards and enter into Terawolf, "And I select Machine-Fanged Beast - Terawolf!"

"So what?" asked Sleet as he was confused about this.

"You'll see." answered Alex with a sly look on his face.

Sleet looked at Alex with a confused expression, then shrugged it off and looked at Dingo, "Set any Spell or Trap cards you have in your hand and then end your turn."

"Got it Sleet," saluted Dingo as he took two cards from his hand, "Kaado ni mai settei, Turn End." Two face-down cards appeared in front of Dingo. The orange aura around Tyranthalsaurus disappeared as the dinosaur lost its extra strength. (DINGO: 5 - 3)

/TYRANTHALSAURUS/ATK: 2800 - 2300/

"Watashi no turn, DRAW!" yelled Alex as he drew his next card (ALEX: 1 - 2), "Spell Card, Xyz Treasure, Hatsudo!" The same Spell Card that Sleet used formed in front of Alex as both Terawolf and Tyranthalsaurus gained a white aura around them (ALEX: 2 - 1), "You may remember this card Sleet, for each Xyz monster on the field, I get to draw one card for each Xyz monster," The auras around both Sleet and Dingo's monsters flew towards Alex's deck, "since there are two monsters, I draw two cards!" The auras hit the top cards on Alex's deck and he took the top two cards. (ALEX: 1 - 3)

"All right, you got new cards, So what?" asked Sleet as he glared at the still grinning Alex.

"Spell Card, Xyz Treasure, Hatsudo!" cried out Alex as another Xyz Treasure card formed in front of Alex (ALEX: 3 - 2), "You what this means, I draw one card for each Xyz Monster on the field, so I draw two more cards!" The enemy's Xyz Monsters glowed again as the same glow formed on the top two cards of Alex's Deck and then he drew them. (ALEX: 2 - 4)

"Sleet, when is he going to stop drawing more cards?" complained Dingo, then flinched as Sleet gave his partner a menacing glare.

"HOW SHOULD I KNOW!?" yelled Sleet in anger.

"Don't worry, if you're thinking I'm going to play another Xyz Treasure card, you're wrong," interrupted Alex as both Sleet and Dingo looked at him as he pulled out another card and played it (ALEX: 4 - 3), "Spell Card, Last Xyz Light, Hatsudo!" A Spell Card with the image of Gagagigo the Risen jumping towards a guiding light as the monster's glowed brightly, "With this card, I can banish one Xyz Monster from my Graveyard if was sent there from the field," The Graveyard slot in Alex's Duel Disk glowed as Twilight Storm Eagle was ejected out, then Alex took it and pocketed in his jacket, "then, if the monster had any Overlay Units attached to it while it was on the field; I can Special Summon as many monsters with the same Level in attack mode!" Three more cards were ejected out of the Duel Disk's Graveyard and Alex took them, "Twilight Buster Warrior LV4, Twilight Battle Wolf, Twilight Energy Channeler, Tokushu Shoukan!" The three Level 4 monsters returned to the field, ready to defend their master.

"True, also until the end of my turn, I cannot Xyz Summon a monster whose Rank equal to the summoned monster's Level, but," Alex then gained sly grin, "that doesn't mean other Level monsters."

"He's right!" gasped Tails.

"Now, I tribute Twilight Battle Wolf!" said Alex as his wolf disappeared, "Twilight Star Magician, Adobansu Shoukan!" The female magician of Twilight, having long brown hair, her midriff bore with her clothing, a mask over her eyes, and holding a blue staff with a star on it, came to the field with a smile on her face. (ALEX: 3 - 2)

"Oh, what a pretty girl." commented Dingo stupidly as Star Magician was freaked out by the idiot dingo Mobian's statement.

"Twilight Star Magician no kouka hatsudo!" ordered Alex as Twilight Star Magician raised her staff as the star glowed, " Once pre turn, I can select one 'Twilight' monster I control and select a Level between 1 through 8, and the selected monster's Level becomes the selected Level until the end of the turn!" Star Magician then pointed her staff towards Energy Channeler with four stars around him, two blue and two red, "And the monster I select is Twilight Energy Channeler and it's now a Level 6!" Two green stars formed next to the other four stars.

"All right, next, Spell Card, Level Up!, Hatsudo!" cried out Alex as new Spell card with the image of Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4 was surrounded by flames, formed in front of Alex (ALEX: 2 - 1), "I can select one 'LV' monster I control and tribute if to Special Summon its next Level," a card pop out of Alex's Deck and then Alex took it as Buster Warrior LV4 gained a light and dark aura, "Twilight Buster Warrior LV6, Tokushu Shoukan!" Out from the aura was Twilight Buster Warrior LV4 grown up into his teenage years.

"All right, Alex has what he needs to Xyz Summon Paladin Dragon." Said Sonic as he gained a smiled.

"Yeah, no kidding, and Alex had used five cards to get the right materials." Explained Sally.

Alex raised his right arm to the air, "Watashi wa, Reberu Roku no Twilight Star Magician, Twilight Buster Warrior LV6, Twilight Energy Channeler, OBAREI!" All three of Alex's monsters turned into a mixture of yellow and purple energy before shooting in the air in a spiral, as a galaxy portal formed in the sky as the three energies entered, "Hikari to yami de, Obarei Netwaaku kochiku! Ekushiizu Shoukan!" A burst of light occurred. "Oriru (Descend)... Nanbazu Hyaku Nijusan (Number 123)!"

The monster's sealed form emerged as some type of prism, colored red, gold, blue, and white, with two small black wings on the top point. The prism's sides opened up and began shifting, taking a new form. From the bottom, red and gray armor formed over blue legs with gray leg adornments, the legs having clawed feet. "The dragonic knight of twilight, protect us with your might!" Two muscled blue arms with red armor and black hands emerged, the right arm being equipped with some type of green tonfa-like laser blade and the number "123" glowed green on the right shoulder armor. "Through their combination shall true power be known!" The chest armor formed, having a large golden "V" on the chest and a slot in it, revealing two odd devices that made the chest look like it had eyes. The two small wings on the top had grown to a large size, almost as tall as the monster itself. "TWILIGHT...PALADIN...DRAGON!" Finally, the head formed, having four spikes in the back of its head and green eyes, its armor being red and blue. With two swipes of its sword, the monster took a stance with three Overlay Units (two yellow, one purple) orbiting it.

"Sugoi (Amazing)..." murmured both Roll and Haseo as they stared at Twilight Paladin Dragon in awe.

"Incredible..." muttered Amy as she stared at the Dragon knight of Twilight.

Both Sonia and Manic stared at the Number Monster with calculated looks on their faces.

"Hey Sleet, isn't that..." muttered Dingo to his partner as they stared at the dragon in question.

"It is Dingo, that's the card needed for our master." answered Sleet as both he and Dingo saw the dragon knight gaining a familiar aura around it and Terawolf gaining a dark aura around it.

/NUMBER 123: TWILIGHT PALADIN DRAGON/ATK: 3000 - 4000/

/MACHINE-FANGED BEAST - TERAWOLF/ATK: 3200 - 2900/

"WHAT THE!?" yelled Sleet as both monster's ATK changed.

"Confused, Twilight Energy Channeler's effect activated once it was used as a Overlay Unit for a 'Twilight' Xyz monster, giving the summoned monster 1000 ATK." explained Alex as he still had a sly grin on his face.

"But, shouldn't Energy Channeler's effect be negated by his Spell?" asked Dingo with a confused look on his face.

"Unless its effect activated once it left the field you idiot!" answered Sleet with an aggravated tone, then looked at his monster, "So, care to explain about my monster's ATK went down by 300?"

"Yeah, Twilight Drain Archfiend's effect, when I control a 'Twilight' monster, the monster equipped with Drain Archfiend loses 300 ATK for each 'Twilight' monster I control!" stated Alex as Terawolf let out mournful cry.

"So that explains it!" yelled Tails as he snapped his fingers and looked at the two-tailed genius, "Alex wanted those to attack Drain Archfiend so he could activate its card effect, to drain the monster's ATK!"

"Amazing..." muttered Sally as she looked at Alex in amazement.

"Go Twilight Paladin Dragon, attack Terawolf with Paladin Saber!" ordered Apex as Paladin Dragon took flight, then dive-bombed towards the weaken Terawolf with its energy blade.

"I think not, Spell Card, Xyz Encore, Hatsudo!" yelled Sleet as his face-down revealed to be a Quick-Play Spell with the image of Maestroker the Symphony Djinn being sucked into a black hole, "This card lets me target 1 Xyz Monster my opponent controls, and detach all of its Overlay Unit and the Xyz Monster back to the Extra Deck!" The card gained a purple aura around it, "Also, if the cards that were detached were monsters, you can Special Summon them in Defense mode with their Level reduced by one and cannot activate their effects!" The card then shot a beam of purple light towards Paladin Dragon, "So say good bye to your...!"

"Number 123: Twilight Paladin Dragon no kouka hatsudo!" interrupted Alex as one of the yellow orbs was absorded into Twilight Paladin Dragon's left gauntlet, "Once pre turn, during either player's turn, if a 'Twilight' monster I control would be targeted by Spell, Trap, or by Monster's Effect, I can detach one Overlay Unit from Paladin Dragon to negate and destroy the card, go Paladin Shield!" A green energy shield formed on the dragon's left wrist as it deflected the beam back to the Spell Card.

/NUMBER 123: TWILIGH PALADIN DRAGON/OU: 3 - 2/

"NO!" cried out Sleet as parts of the beam hit him.

/SLEET & DINGO: 2900 - 1900/

"Also, if my monster's effect destroyed the card, you lose 1000 LP!" continued Alex as he looked at his monster, "continue your attack Paladin Dragon!" Twilight Paladin Dragon continued its attack as it dive-bombed and slashed Terawolf in half, as the machine beast exploded.

/SLEET & DINGO: 1900 - 800/

"Twilight Drain Archfiend no kouka hatsudo!" yelled Alex as the specter of Drain Archfiend formed, "I can equip this card to any monster on the field and I choose Tyranthalsaurus!" Drain Archfiend's specter then flwe and entered Tyranthalsaurus, weakening the dinosaur.

/TYRANTHALSAURUS/ATK: 2300 - 2000/

Sleet gritted his teeth, "I'm not done, Trap Card, Xyz Reborn, Hatsudo!" The familiar Trap Card that Diana used was was revealed on Sleet's field, "With this card, I can Special Summon one Xyz Monster in my Graveyard and attach this Trap to my monster a Overlay Unit, so come back-"

"Denied, Trap Card, Hieratic Seal of Reflection, Hatsudo!" cried out Diana as her face-down card revealed itself to be a Counter Trap Card with the image of Hieratic Dragon King of Atum forming a barrier to block an attack, "When a Spell, Trap, or Monster's Effect is activated, I can tribute one 'Hieratic' monster I control to negate and destroy your card!" She then pointed towards Eset, "I tribute to destroy your Trap!" Eset then turned into lavender energy and shot towards Sleet's Trap Card, destroy it.

"NO!" yelled Sleet in disbelief as his plans were backfired.

"Hieratic Dragon of Eset no kouka hatsudo!" yelled Diana as a golden seal formed above her, "When a 'Hieratic' monster is tributed, I can Special Summon one Dragon-Type monster from my hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0," A card popped out of Diana's hand as she then played it, "Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord, Tokushu Shoukan!" A bright light began to descend from above, as if it was the sun itself. However, when it reached the field, the light died down to reveal a golden sphere not unlike the others, but it was much larger, and no energy was between the cracks. On the front was the same symbol as on her other dragons, in red, resembling an eye of sorts.

"Kaado ichi mai settei, Turn End." said Alex as he placed his last card face-down (ALEX: 1 - 0).

"You...little...pest...I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY!" yelled Sleet as the Barian Symbols on his and Dingo's foreheads glowed as Sleet was going to draw, "ORO NO TURN, DRAW!" A red trail followed the new card (SLEET: 1 - 2), then switched it with the card in his hand, "Spell Card, Monster Reborn, Hatsudo!" The classic Spell Card formed in front of Sleet as it gave a golden glow, "With this card, I can Special Summon one monster from any player's Graveyard, and I Special Summon my Machine-Fanged Beast - Terawolf!" The machine wolf returned to the field, growling towards both Alex and Diana. (SLEET: 2 - 1)

/MACHINE-FANGED BEAST - TERAWOLF/(ATK): 2400/DEF: 1600/OU: 0/

"Great, the mutt is back." muttered Diana as she glared at the card Sleet drew, 'But that card he got, I sense a great evil,' she then looked at Dingo, 'And his partner got the same evil in his deck.'

"Now my beast, it's time for you to evolve, Spell Card, Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force, Hatsudo!" yelled Sleet as he lifted the card in his hand high up in the air as it glowed crimson red and dark clouds formed above the dueling field, "With this card, I can select one Xyz Monster I control to Special Summon a 'Chaos' monster 1 Rank higher," Sleet then pointed towards Terawolf, "and I choose Terawolf in order to recreate the Overlay Network!" (SLEET: 1 - 0)

Everyone's eyes widened when they heard the card's name, 'Barian's Force!' Was in everyone mind as Terawolf howled for the last time, as it was turned into crimson red energy, then flew to the sky towards the dark clouds.

'Is this the evil THOSE TWO talked about before I came to this world?!' thought Diana to herself as she saw a negative energy explosion in the clouds as a dark green orb formed with Sleet started to chant

"Kaosu Ekushizu Chenji (Chaos Xyz Change)! Varian no shin no shinko pawa, kon dati sekai o sabaki o motarasu (The true emerging power of Barian, bring judgment on the dirtied world now)! Chaos Xyz: Machine-Fanged Beast -Tera-Werewolf!"

Emerging out of the orb, was a anthropomorphic cybernetic wolf-like creature. Its face, torso and legs, retaining the most cybernetic appearance, are a dark shade of purple. Its arms are a pale white with large gray blotches, almost matching its hair, which is pure white and long, reaching down to the lower part of its back. It opened its mouth to show its teeth and claws are a different hue of purple, while its eyes are red when they are lit up. It has five large claws on each hand, and two claws on each foot. Crimson red energy flowed on its cybernetic body as it gave a menacing mechanical howl. A purple Overlay Unit headed straight towards Tera-Werewolf, until it transformed into armored red crystallized Chaos Overlay Unit that floated in front of the beast.

/CXYZ: MACHINE-FANGED BEAST - TERA-WEREWOLF/DARK/Machine/Xyz/Effect/R: 5/(ATK): 2600/DEF: 2100/COU: 1/

"Next, the other effects of Barian's Force activates." said Sleet as red lightning shot out of the purple portal towards Twilight Paladin Dragon, "It takes all of my opponent's Xyz Monster's Overlay Units and adds them to my Chaos Xyz monster, then drains your monster 300 ATK for each Overlay Unit that was taken." The lightning hit Paladin Dragon, as its Overlay Unit flew towards Tera-Werewolf, transforming into Chaos Overlay Unit as energy was sapped from Number 123.

/NUMBER 123: TWILIGHT PALADIN DRAGON/ATK: 4000 - 3400/OU: 2 - 1/ (Loses 600 ATK from Card Effect)

/CXYZ: MACHINE-FANGED BEAST - TERA-WEREWOLF/COU: 1 - 3/

"At least Twilight Paladin Dragon is still stronger against Tera-Werewolf and Tyranthalsaurus." stated Manic as everyone face-palmed, with Manic looking confused.

'He just had to say it...' moaned the Freedom Fighter minus Manic.

"Hey Sleet, you don't mind if I activate MY card?" asked Dingo in a enraged tone, wanting to get some revenge against Alex for tricking him.

"Go ahead Dingo." answered Sleet.

"Right, Trap Card, Spell Resonance, Hatsudo!" A Counter Trap Card with the image of Yugi's Dark Magician chanting a spell and Arakana's Dark Magician chanting the same spell, "By discarding one Spell Card," Dingo sent the Machine Duplication Spell Card to the Graveyard (DINGO: 3 - 2), "when my opponent, aka my partner, activated a Normal Spell, After the effect of the Spell is finished, I can add one Spell Card from my deck to my hand with the same name and activate it!" A card ejected out of Dingo's Deck and then Dingo took it and activated, "Spell Card, Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force, Hatsudo!" The familiar Spell Card formed and glowed red as dark cloud formed over the field again.

"Again!?" yelled Sonia in shock, "They're going for a second Chaos Xyz monster!?"

"Looks like it," muttered Amy as she looked at Number 123, "but, at least Alex's dragon doesn't have any Overlay Units."

"I rebuild the Overlay Network by using my Tyranthalsaurus in order to bring out its Chaos form!" yelled Dingo as Tyranthalsaurus roared as it turned into crimson red energy, then flew towards the dark cloud as an explosion of negative energy as a dark green orb formed in the cloud.

"Kaosu Ekushizu Chenji (Chaos Xyz Change)! Varian no shin no shinko pawa, kon dati sekai o sabaki o motarasu (The true emerging power of Barian, bring judgment on the dirtied world now)! Chaos Xyz: Tyranthalsaurus Rex!"

Emerging out of the orb was a two-headed black tyrannosaurus rex with junk/mechanical parts and wires. The left head had metal lower jaw with red eyes. The right head was wearing a metal horned helmet that had melded to its skin with red eyes and blue spiky hair. On the chest was a metal plate with a hole in the middle, with wires curling around its body. The dinosaur's left arm was a giant metal claw with three blades, while the right arm was regular arm with metal claws and a cannon. On its legs, the kneecaps had metal pads fused to them, as the feet had metal blades for claws. Giant torn blue wings appeared on the dinosaur's back. Finally, the tail had drill at the tip with metal plating and wires fused on various parts of the tail. The new dinosaur gave a mighty roar that shook the area around as crimson red Chaos energy flowed on the mechanical parts. Two crystallized Chaos Overlay Units formed and floated in front of monster. (Think of a fusion of Metal Greymon and Metal Tyrannomon, but with both digimon's heads)

"What a hideous monster!" exclaimed Diana as she saw the monster's two head glaring at her and Alex, while drooling.

"I agree." added Alex as Twilight Paladin Dragon glared at the two-headed dinosaur.

"Now, Tera-Werewolf no kouka hatsudo!" yelled Sleet as one of the Chaos Overlay Unit turned into energy and entered Tera-Werewolf.

/CXYZ: MACHINE-FANGED BEAST - TERA-WEREWOLF/COU: 3 - 2/

"Now what?" asked Alex as he saw the mouth of the werewolf slipt opened into four.

"By detaching one Chaos Overlay Unit, I can target one face-up monster on the field and force it to lose 600 ATK and DEF, and I choose Number 123: Twilight Paladin Dragon! Go Chaos Howler!" ordered Sleet as the Tera-Werewolf fired a shockwave of crimson energy towards the Number monster, weaking it even more.

/NUMBER 123: TWILIGHT PALADIN DRAGON/ATK: 3400 - 2800/DEF: 2000 - 1400/

"Here Sleet, let me help you, Trap Card, Smug Raid, Hatsudo!" cried out Dingo as a Trap Card with the image of Strike Ninja appearing next to the Grandmaster of the Six Samurai, "This Trap Card lets me target and gives controls to one Special Summoned I control over to my opponent," he then pointed towards Sleet, "and since this a tag duel, I'll give Tyranthalsaurus Rex to Sleet, then I draw one card!" Tyranthalsaurus Rex roared as it went next to Tera-Werewolf as Dingo drew a card. (DINGO: 2 - 3)

"Thank you Dingo, and for that, Tyranthalsaurus Rex no kouka hatsudo!" The two-head dinosaur roared as the two Chaos Overlay Units turned into energy as they entered into Tyranthalsaurus Rex's mouths, "By detaching two Chaos Overlay Units, Tyranthalsaurus Rex can attack twice during this turn's Battle Phase and inflict Piercing damage!"explained Sleet as he gave a maniacal laugh and Tyranthalsaurus Rex gave a mighty roar.

/CXYZ: TYRANTHALSAURUS REX/COU: 2 - 0/

"Now our victory is insure," predicted Sleet as he looked at the monsters on Alex and Diana's side of the field, "Once Tyranthalsaurus Rex attacks the Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon, both of you will lose all of your Life Points!" Both Sleet and Dingo laughed as the Chaos Xyz Monsters roared.

"We'll see about that!" shouted Diana as she looked at Alex, who has his head down with his eyes shadowed, 'Hope that guy got a plan right now, because I'm all out of plans!'

"Oh we will, go Tyranthalsaurus Rex, attack the Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord!" ordered Sleet as the twin-headed dinosaur roared in power, "Chaos Tyrant Bite!" The dinosaur charged towards the shining golden orb.

"Oh on, if that attack hits, they'll lose!" cried Amy as she hid her face.

Roll and Haseo closed their eyes, not wanting to watch the attack.

'Come on Alex, I know you have a plan!' thought Sonic as he stared at Alex.

"You lose!" yelled both Dingo and Sleet, as Tyranthalsaurus Rex was about to take a bite out of the Hieratic Seal monster, until Twilight Paladin Dragon was in front of the charging twin-headed dinosaur, "WHAT THE!?"

"I think not!" yelled out Alex as his last face-down card was revealed to be a glowing Trap Card with the image of a warrior of light and darkness standing his ground against a Chaos Sorcerer and Dark Ruler ha Des, "I activated the Trap Card, Twilight Reasoning! If I control a monster with two or more Attributes, and my opponent controls more monsters then me!"

"And since Alex's monsters have the effect of being treated as LIGHT and DARK, the Trap Card can activate!" added Diana.

"So what!?" asked Sleet.

"You see, once my Trap is activated, I can banish one Trap Card from my opponent's Graveyard, and my Trap Card gains the effects of the banished card!" countered Alex as a card from Dingo's Graveyard was ejected, "And the card I've chosen was the Living Wall Trap Card, which means I can redirect the attack towards my Number Monster!"

"So what, both of our monsters are going to be destroyed, since Barian's Force negates the Destroyed by Battle effect from both the Trap and monster's effects!" yelled Sleet.

"We'll have to see, won't we!?" Twilight Paladin Dragon charged its saber as Tyranthalsaurus Rex continued charging towards the dragon knight. Once both monsters came into ranged, Paladin Dragon thrusted it's saber towards Tyranthalsaurus Rex, as the dinosaur tried to bite off the dragon knight's head. Everything was quiet, until a glowing green blade was stabbed through Tyranthalsaurus Rex's back as it roared in pain and fell on its side, destroyed as Sleet and Dingo lost some Life Points.

/SLEET & DINGO: 800 - 500/

"What...the...heck..." sputtered Sleet as he stared at the outcome as Twilight Paladin Dragon stood tall over its victory against the Chaos monster.

A card was ejected out of Alex's Graveyard as he revealed it to be Twilight Drain Archfiend and said, "Remember this?"

-Flashback-

"When Dingo activated his Barian's Force Spell Card in order to Chaos Xyz Change Tyranthalsaurus Rex, Drain Archfiend was sent to the Graveyard during the summoning." explained Alex.

The dark spirit of Twilight Drain Archfiend came out of the Graveyard and entered into Tyranthalsaurus Rex, once the Chaos Xyz Change was finished, giving it a dark aura.

"You two didn't notice it since the both of you were glaring at me and my partner, as Drain Archfiend was equipped and took away your Chaos Xyz monster's ATK!"

/CXYZ: TYRANTHALSAURUS REX/ATK: 2800 - 2500/

-End Flashback-

"All right Alex!" cheered Manic and Sonic.

"That was a close one." said Sonia as she and Amy sighed in reliefed.

"Sugoi..." amazed Roll and Haseo

"So Sleet, what will you do now, since my Drain Archfiend cannot activate its effect this turn?" asked Alex with confidence in his voice.

Both Sleet and Dingo were so stunned, that they couldn't even think right as Sleet said, "T-turn End."

(Start Diana's Battle Theme: Red Fraction by MILL)

"Thank you Alex, you've given us our road to victory." Thanked Diana as Alex gave her the thumbs up, "Now let me return the favor, Watashi no turn, DRAW!" With that, Diana drew her next card (DIANA: 0 - 1), "Hieratic Dragon of Eset, Tokushu Shoukan!" A second lavender dragon with gold armor appeared in front of Diana. (DIANA: 1 - 0)

/HIERATIC DRAGON OF ESET/LV: 5/(ATK): 1900 - 1000/DEF: 1200/

"Now, Hieratic Dragon of Eset no kouka hatsudo!" Eset started to glow even more brighter as Diana explained, "Once pre turn, I can target one face-up Dragon-Type Normal Monster on the field, the Levels of all face-up 'Hieratic' monster that are currently on the field become the Level of that monster until the end of my turn," Diana then pointed towards Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord, "I select my Hieratic Seal, so all 'Hieratic' I control are now Level 8!" Both Eset and Asar gained a lavender aura around them as their Level increased.

/HIERATIC DRAGON OF ESET/LV: 5 - 8/

/HIERATIC DRAGON OF ASAR/LV: 7 - 8/

'Is she going to summon IT?' thought Alex as he looked at the monsters' Levels.

"The time has come, Watashi wa Reberu Hachi Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord no, Hiertaic Dragon of Eset, OBAREI (I overlay my Level 8 Hiertaic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord and Hieratic Dragon of Eset)!" Both the golden orb and lavender dragon turned into yellow energies as they shot up towards the sky and a golden spiral portal formed in front of Diana, "Ni tai no monsuta de, Obarei Netwaaku kochiku (With these two monster, I create the Overlay Network)!" The energies then dived into the portal as a bright light shined, "Ekushiizu Shoukan (Xyz Summon)!" From the portal, the Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord emerged, floating into the air, but this time, red energy was moving along the cracks. The energy glowed, and the sphere opened, causing the red energy to take shape. "Arawareyo (Come forth)!" The plating of the gold sphere became various armored plates across the body, but the body became much larger than Diana's other monsters. Wing armor formed from some of the pieces, flaring out energy into wings that were yellow at the armor and became orange as they flared out. "Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis!" The head formed from the energy, the helm sporting the Hieroglyph symbol. The large dragon curled its joints before extending its body with a loud roar, two yellow orbs orbiting it with streaks of yellow light.

/HIERATIC SUN DRAGON OVERLORD OF HELIOPOLIS/LIGHT/Dragon/Xyz/Effect/R: 8/(ATK): 3000/DEF: 2400/OU: 2/

"Whoa..." murmured Manic as he saw how huge the dragon is.

"Amazing, just amazing."muttered Sally as Sonia nodded her head, agreeing with Sally.

"Well, those guys are toast, huh buddy?" asked Sonic to Tails as they looked at the Hieratic Sun Dragon.

"Oh yeah." answered Tails.

"GO DIANA-CHAN!" cheered Roll and Haseo as they saw the God of the Hieratic Dragons.

Monkey Khan stared at the Sun Dragon Overlord with a silent expression.

'Amazing, she does have that dragon, the God of the Hieratic Dragons.' thought Alex as he and Twilight Paladin Dragon stared at the Sun Dragon Overlord.

Sleet and Dingo looked at the new dragon in fear, as they took a step back.

"Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis no kouka hatsudo!" yelled Diana as one of the yellow Overlay Units entered into the Hieratic emblem on Sun Dragon Overlord, "Once per turn, by detaching one Overlay Unit, I can tribute any monsters in my hand and/or side of the field, I can destroy an equal amount of cards on the field!" Diana then took Asar's card and sent it to the Graveyard, "And I tribute Hieratic Dragon of Asar in order to destroy Chaos Xyz Machine-Fanged Beast - Tera-Werewolf!" Sun Dragon Overlord gave a mighty loud roar as pillars of flames engulfed both Asar and Tera-Werewolf, destroying them.

/HIERATIC SUN DRAGON OVERLORD OF HELIOPOLIS/OU: 2 - 1/

"P-please, have m-mercy on us!" pleading Sleet as he and Dingo were shaking in fear.

"Y-yeah, we were only j-joking." pleading Dingo as he stared at the Sun Dragon Overlord.

"I don't think so, you destroyed my friend's home, take my friends hostages, all for just a quick buck!" yelled Diana as she had a look of rage on her face, "You'll both pay for your crimes! Go Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis, attack both Sleet and Dingo with Overlord Blaze Cannon!" The God of the Hieratic Dragons heard its master's ordered as it created a giant orb of flames from its hands and mouth, then fired the flaming orb towards the trembling bounty hunters.

"AAAAHHHH!" screamed both Sleet and Dingo as the flames engulfed them, sending them flying and hit the ground hard, with the Barian Emblems disappearing from the bounty hunters' foreheads.

/SLEET & DINGO: 500 - 0/

/WINNERS: ALEX & DIANA/

"All right!" cheered the Freedom Fighter as the A.R. field disappeared as well the Barian symbols on Sleet and Dingo's foreheads.

Sonic ran towards the chained hedge-Fox Mobian siblings, pulling out Caliburn in the process. "Don't worry, I'll get you guys out of those chains." Reassured Sonic as he sliced the chains that held both Roll and Haseo.

"Arigato (Thank you)." Said Roll until she saw both Sleet and Dingo waking up, as Diana was walking towards the bounty hunters, "Shitsurei (Excuse me)..." Roll got up and beginning to walk towards the bounty hunters with a glare, as Sonic and Haseo shivered at the tone of voice Roll used.

"Ugh... Sleet, wha' happened?" Asked a groggy Dingo as he sat up, rubbing his head.

"How should I...!" SLEET stopped as both he and Dingo felt something behind them. As they turned heads around to only see Diana and Roll, both girl's having a dark aura around them with their glaring eyes blank white at the now paled bounty hunters.

"You bakas destroyed my home..." muttered Roll as both Sleet and Dingo were shaking in fear at the tone of Roll's voice.

"You used my friends to take something that isn't yours..." growled Diana as she cracked her knuckles, scarring the bounty hunters even more.

"YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!" Yelled both Roll and Diana as they charged to the terrified bounty hunters.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Screamed both Sleet and Dingo, as punches were heard and heavy objects were used to hurt the bounty hunters.

-Few minutes later-

(Location Change - Mobius - Yurashia - Stormtop Village)

"Thank you for rescuing me and my otouto-chan minna (everyone)." Thanked Roll to the Freedom Fighters as they carried boxes towards the Freedom Special, with Roll carrying the most boxes.

"No problem..." Alex stared at the yellow hedge-Fox Mobian, who took her belongings in the jet, 'How strong is she!?'

"Sorry about what happened to your village Roll," said Sally with a sad tone in her voice, "if you want, you and Haseo can move to New Mobotropolis with us."

"Really!?" Asked Roll in surprise, then hugged Sally, "Thank you Sally-hime!"

"You're... welcome..." strained Sally from the bone-crushing hug.

Everyone smiled at the sight, until Alex turned his attention towards Diana, who crossed her arms and looked at Alex. "You can come with us if you want Diana." Offered Alex, surprising Diana.

"Of course," smiled Diana as she walked towards the group, "beside, I still need to teach Haseo how to duel."

"Hey guys!" The Freedom Fighters turned their heads towards Tails, who was inside the plane, "Everything is ready, we can go home now."

Everyone entered the jet and took a seat. The villagers of Stromtop Village looked on as the Freedom Special took flight and flew away towards home.

-Later-

(Location Change - Mobius - Unknown Location)

Later that night, a Overlay Network portal was formed in front of a ancient shrine, as Savanna, who was wearing her cloak, appeared in front of the shrine.

"So, the queen was right," Said Savanna to herself, looking at the shrine in amazement, "the mysterious island in the sky, Angel Island, does exist."
