Hello, for those who have stuck around this long, I am both thankful and sooooo sorry. I am a scattered mind 18 year old that has a bad memory. It's a wonder how I get good grades. So now, onto the chapter.
After that whole crazy chase, I ended up being restrained. Guess how? Well lets see, I'm a Shadow Creation Wizard, so rope and chains is out of the question. So what else is there? The snake? No, that snake doesn't have the patience to watch me through my sleepless nights for the next couple weeks. That only leaves the Elf and the Psycho. The said Psycho was soundly sleeping with his head on my shoulder. He was holding me in his lap since A) He can reflect my magic, B) He can keep one hell of a grip even when he's in snoozeville, and C)This dude has this crazy idea that I, in someway, belong to him. Stupid, emo, possessive, psychopath. I had even voiced my opinion, and then he used his magic to make my current volume of Mamoette Lollipop unopenable by reflecting the covers together in a steel hard box with the pages inside and unharmed. Apparently that was my punishment. Cobra was scouting the perimeter to check for any of my guild mates. So there I sat, waiting and planning when I heard a twig snap. Midnight had too apparently and woke up instantly. His head moved back and forth as he scanned the tree line but my eyes stayed focus on a single spot where a familiar pair of headphones gleamed in a passing ray of light. Smirking, I instantly thought of a diversion and focused on the shadows in another direction, creating a slight movement looking shift. That was apparently enough because the branches and ground around that small area began to wrap around into a cocoon like structure. When that happened, he moved quick to put me on the ground and move towards it. Still using his magic on the cocoon.
"Thunder Dragon Roar!" I saw the familiar yellow flash as the attack hit Midnight from behind, since he was already reflecting on thing, he was unable to defend against the surprise attack and slammed into a tree, passing out from the pressure to the head. Then Cobra, hearing the commotion had arrived. I will say that I did feel bad.
"Shadows Make: War Hammer." I called as a black, giant hammer formed in my hands. I swung it and caught him by surprise, hitting him and sending him flying into another tree. "Shadow Make: Restraint Jacket." Then with that, his own shadow rose up and wrapped itself up around Cobra, covering his mouth as well. The same happened to Cerberus leaving her in a wiggling cocoon. "Careful of Midnight." I called to Laxus, nervous until he put a magic cancellor onto his neck. He walked over and I thought I was gonna get a hug but he slammed his fist into my head.
"Owwww! Why Laxus-nee!?" I cried, rubbing my head. He sighed, a vein pulsing on his forehead.
"What were you thinking, I hear you run off to do an S-class mission and got yourself captured! How stupid are you?!" He scolded me. I sat there as anime tears poured down my face. He sighed and picked me up, placing me so I was standing on the ground. "Well, lets get these guys back, S-class or not, this is your mission." He stated. Smiling I gave a nod and grabbed Cerberus, gently making it so that the restraints were there but not as tight and explained the situation to her. She was an intellligent snake and wrapped herself around my waist and shoulders, resting her head on my'n. Making sure I would'nt sufficate, we headed off to return to the guild with our prisoners.
"So, are you still banished?" I asked. He was quiet for a moment, then nodded. We later stopped in a clearing and he set them down.
"Now, Erza and them will be here in a few minutes. They will help you but the reward will be split amoung them and you. Since Erza is one of the Wizards, the S-Class is now perfectly legal. Just stay here okay." And with that, Laxus left back into the forest. I really do miss Laxus-nee. So I sat there, waiting. Somehow, the two boys stayed knocked out. I mean Midnight, obviously, the dude lived to sleep. Cobra, however had ears better then a bloody bat! so to be the little punk that I am, I grabbed a stick and began poking Midnight. It took about 15 minutes and a lot of, "Wake the hell up you psychopathic creep!", "BEHOLD THE MIGHTY STICK YOU FREAKY ASSHOLE OF A CREEP!", and then, "WAAAAKKKKKE UUUUUUPPPPPPPP!" (Done while slamming the stick into his head,) His eyes just calmly opened and he looked at me. He looked so sleepy. Then I smiled sweetly...pfft...HAHAHAHAHA! As if! I stood tall, imagining dark lightning flashing behind me. "THE ROLL HAS BEEN REVERSED! NOW YOU ARE THE LOSER WHO IS CAPTURED! NOW YOU WILL BE TORTURED WITH THE ALMIGHTY STICK!" I began laughing evily. He just gave me a deadpan look.
"How I'm attracted to you I will never know." He answered flattly. Then he began tugging at the collar. "If you wanted to put me on a leash, there could've been a more peaceful way too."
"When are you ever peaceful?" I asked. "Anyways, now that You and Cobra have been captured, my mission is complete! I will certainly be recognized now. As for you two, I think that I can be merciful and talk to Master Mokurov about the charges."
"Oh yah, being stuck in a bigger bubble this time?" He rolled his eyes. Then he smirked. "Or you can let me go. You do have a strong magic, my guild won't ever treat you as fragile."
"Me no speak dumbass." I said simply in reply. Then I heard something and turned around...running right into an armoured hug.
"We were so worried, don't you ever do that again Yume!" Erza yelled, at least I think, sounded like her voice and who else wears this kind of armor. Then Lucy talked me into a hug and began asking what happened. Gray somehow lost his shirt between him arriving and giving me a shoulder hug, smacking me in the head in the process,...I guess on purpose. Natsu was the only one not mad.
"YOU TOOK AN S MISSION! IM SO PROUD, I MOTIVATED YOU! TELL ME EVERYTHING! HOW BAD DID YOU HUMILIATE AND BEAT THEM UP!" He yelled, looking at the captives. I sighed in annoyance and humiliation.
"I was captured, I failed. I had to be saved by someone...I'm pathetic!" At least, that's what I wanted to say but I just stayed silent and smiled. Afterall, if I ran off now I would only seem weak.
"So lets get them to the guild!" I smiled like a child and we were off, finally, back home...home...
