I'm glad to know you all are enjoying this story. I'm having a blast with it seeing as I'm a big Tales Of Series fan. I love working on this story and I'm going to continue it. A lot of people say they are amazed with how I am able to know all of the Tales of characters personalities. It took a lot of research I'll tell you that much. Chapter 6: Battle On The Base
"Blazing Tempest!"
The sound of Lloyds voice could be heard followed by a huge roar. Lloyd, Konyu, Milla and Jude were on a mission slaying a huge monster. "So this is a Chameleos huh?" Lloyd asked as he landed next to Konyu who already had his swords unsheathed. Konyu nodded at him "These Elite monsters are no joke which is why they give out missions to get rid of them. They are really dangerous and will attack you on sight." Konyu replied.
The Chameleos's body was covered by a purple and white hide. Its head was also large, flat, and had a spiked "crest" with a horn at the tip of the head. Its eyes were similar to a chameleon's eyes; large and orb-like with the ability to freely move separate from each other.
Its tongue can be stretched, making it very long and able to steal items from Hunters such as Konyu and the others. Its wings were purple colored, with a grayish white membrane, though they are only used when moving to another area and during its poison jump attack. Chameleos's tail was large and shaped like a leaf, with a chameleon-like curled spiral at the end.
The four heroes were battling on Kenru Heights. A mountain near Sayreok Town. Konyu looked up at the Chameleos who stood strong. "The blazing tempest didn't bring this thing down?" Lloyd asked. Konyu shook his head "It's going to take more than that." He responded. Lloyd nodded and jumped into action once again but this time Konyu was right beside him.
"Raining Tiger Blade!" Lloyd exclaimed. He released a large number of stabs upon the enemy, and chained it to two vertical slashes moving upward and downward. While this began to hurt the monster it also began to anger it.
"Sword Rain Delta!"
Konyu began to stab the giant monsters leg seven times before stopping and stabbing it eight more times to make a total of fifteen hits. Lloyd looked at him in shock, "You have a Sword Rain arte that goes passed Sword Rain Beta?" He asked.
His question was cut short as the Chameleos roared and spun around to hit Lloyd and Konyu with its tail, sending them flying. Once they hit the ground Milla and Jude looked at one another "We have to do something." He said. Milla nodded "Let's go." She responded.
Milla and Jude soon made their way toward the monster and began their attack. Jude started to let his fist fly on the right leg of the Chameleos. He then started to release a fury of three rapid attacks of two punches and a one kick "Cerberus Strike!" He exclaimed as the blows landed.
While that happened Milla delivered an upward slash to the monster with her sword as she jumped into the air. The Chameleos was having a hard time moving due to Jude attacking its legs. Milla used this to her advantage and started slashing away in a left to right motion.
Once she landed on the ground she jumped over to Jude and stood behind him as the two began to link together. "Now!' She exclaimed. Jude nodded and started to swing his fist as Milla began to focus her energy and prepare an arte. "Igneous Crush!" The both exclaimed in unison as giant stone fist started to appear above Jude and hitting the monster in the face and body.
This caused the monster to be pushed back which made things even better for Milla and Jude. As the monster tried to regain its balance Milla and Jude prepared another attack. Milla and Jude launched an X-shaped wind-elemental projectile at the Chameleos, "Final Gale!" they exclaimed as the attack hit the monster.
Pushing the monster back even further Jude looked over his shoulder "Milla now!" He said. Milla nodded as she dashed forward, lunging to the ground as feathers burn behind her feet in a blazing line. She then raised her sword skywards calling forth splashes of water, turns around and swipes a blade of wind, leaps back into the air, and summons blocks of stone to strike the enemy. Finally, she caused a glyph consisting of the four elemental colors to appear around her as she gestures with her arms to emanate forth streaks of supreme power. "All beginnings must end, let it be… by my hands. Elemental Mastery!" She exclaimed as the attack decimated the Chameleos.
Once the attack was finished there was nothing left of the Chemeleos. Of course this amazed both Lloyd and Konyu as they watched the whole thing go on. "What in the world was that? How did you two pull off combination attacks like that?" Konyu asked.
"Their called linked artes. We can use them when the two of us are linked together." Jude informed him. "Linking?" Lloyd asked with a confused look on his face. "Yes, When two people have what we call in our world 'Allium Orbs' in their possession. They are able to link with one another to pull off stronger attacks." Jude explained. "They're quite useful." Milla added.
Konyu laughed "I bet they are." He replied. "So is that the only way people can do those types of attacks?" Lloyd asked. Jude nodded his head with a smile which earned a sigh from Lloyd "and here I thought I would be able to do the same thing with Konyu." Lloyd whined as he lowered his head. Jude laughed while Milla looked forward "We should hurry back. We need to let the villagers know that the monster has been defeated." Milla said. Jude nodded along with Konyu and Lloyd "Right." Jude replied.
Meanwhile in 'Kamindeer' Katsu was on his way to the guild house of the "Rising Hope" Guild. Yuuto had told Katsu that he was going on ahead and seemed like he was in a rush. As Katsu approached the guild, he noticed Yuri standing outside leaning against a wall with his arms crossed.
"So you finally made it huh?" Yuri asked. Katsu looked at him "Were you waiting for me?" He asked in return. Yuri nodded "Yeah, Seems like the guild master has a job for us." Yuri replied as he pushed off the wall and stood up straight. "But I'm warning you though, she's been chugging down one too many so she might be a little hard to deal with." Yuri added. Katsu looked at him and sighed "What am I going to do with that woman." He replied. Katsu headed inside with Yuri to meet up with Yumin who was in the main hall sitting at the bar with a glass in her hand.
"Ah Katsu there you are! Where have you been? We've been waiting on you!" Yumin exclaimed as her face was slightly red, indicating that she was drunk. "Drinking already?" He asked. Yumin gave him an annoyed look "Shut up, I'll do it whenever I want." She growled. Katsu smirked "And that's why all the men run away from you." He responded. Yuri looked at him "Ouch." He said.
"You're cruising for a bruising Katsu 'HIC-UP' I dare you to say it again." She warned him as she stood up and got closer to him. "Am I suppose to be afraid Because if that's what you're aiming for, you're failing miserably." Katsu stated.
"Don't fight you two."
"The friendship level should be at 99."
Katsu and Yumin turned their head to see Elize and Teepo who were accompanied by Rowen. Yuuto who was standing beside Elize smiled "Don't worry, they always bark at one another but never fight, they're to close as friends to fight one another." Yuuto stated. Yumin nodded "He's right, although I sometimes do want to bury your brother." She said. "Bury me? Didn't know you hated me that much." Katsu said. Yumin patted his shoulder "I don't hate you, you make me mad sometimes but I value and appreciate your friendship. Does that make things better Teepo?" She asked. "It makes it super duper better." He responded with an excited tone.
"Servant!"
Rita's voice could be heard from down the hall in another room. Katsu groaned and put his hand on his forehead which made Yumin snicker "Looks like your master is calling you." She teased. Katsu sighed "Please, just stop." He replied. Yuri smiled at him "It's your own for agreeing to it." He stated.
Katsu sighed and walked down the hall and headed towards a room that didn't have its door shut. He walked in to see Rita sitting at a desk with stacks of books on both sides of the desk. She was reading a book and did not even take the time to adjust her sights on him.
"Can you get that book for me?" She asked as she pointed forward still looking at the book. She was pointing to a book that was sitting high up on a shelf. Katsu sighed and walked over to it "So you called me here just because you're too lazy to get it yourself?" He asked as he stood on a stool to get the book.
"You're my servant and I'm going to make the best out of it." She replied as she continued to scan the pages. He didn't say a word he just laid the book down next to her and made his way towards the door.
"Don't go anywhere, I need your for something else." She said. Katsu turned to look at her "And that would be?" he asked. She laid the book down and looked at him with a serious look "Tell me about the Eternal Sword. There are some notes about it in this book, telling me about its appearance but it doesn't tell me about its origin." She said.
Katsu looked at her for a second, wondering why she would want to know about the sword but knew she was a researcher. "The Eternal Sword, the Sword of Time." He started to explain which made Rita give him her full undivided attention.
The Eternal Sword is a legendary sword, capable of cleaving the fabric of time and space itself. The Eternal Sword was created by Neos, the King of Summon Spirits, at the request of Raizer, who held a pact with him at the time. It is said that Raizer could cut through time and space with this sword." Katsu explained.
"Who is Raizer?" She asked. "Raizer was a Hero from way back before I was born. Some say he's a Legendary Hero. But of course he's dead now. But it's said that he was the most powerful person alive at the time." He stated as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms.
"Well that's to be expected when he's using a sword that can cut through time and space." She replied. She then sighed and looked up as him "By the way, I was told that we were given a mission by Yumin. Did she say what the mission was?" Rita asked.
"I was just about to tell you all."
Katsu turned to see Yumin and the others standing in front of him. "You'll be meeting up with an old friend of mine. He goes by the name of Aramis Maine." She explained. Katsu raised an eyebrow "Do we need to deliver something to him?" He asked.
"Actually it's the opposite."
Gustav appeared at the front door standing near the door way. "From the report we got, he's found a base that belongs to the Nexus. He said there's some shady stuff going on over there and we need you guys to check it out and bring that base down." He informed them.
Katsu looked at Gustav and crossed his arms "And you're not going because?" Katsu asked questioning Gustav's orders. "I'm going to check out something for the King, so I won't be able to accompany you." Gustav replied.
Yumin smiled "Moon is also sending some her members from her guild to help out. We don't know how many people are going to be in that place so we have to be cautious. I want you all back here alive when this is over."
"I don't plan on dying anytime soon." Katsu said. Yuri patted him on the back when he heard this statement "Your master wouldn't have anyone to boss around if you did." He whispered. Yuri earned himself a glare from Katsu "Shut it." He responded.
"So who will you be sending out Ms, Yumin?" Rowen asked in a polite tone. Yumin smiled at him "It's funny you ask Rowen. You will be one of the people I send out, along with Elize, Katsu, Rita, Yuri, and Yuuto. Moon will be sending six of her members there as well so there will be twelve of you." Yumin stated.
"Alright then, if we know whose going we might as well get there as soon as possible." Yuri said. Yumin nodded "I like the way you think Yuri." She replied. "Head to the east, and meet Aramis in Kaluno Town. He'll guide you from there." She explained.
"Yuuto, are you ready?" Elize asked in excitement. Yuuto turned to her and smiled "Yeah, I'm ready. Let's work together so we can make this mission a success." Yuuto replied.
"Everyone's counting on us you guys!" Teepo added, floating around Elize and Yuuto who were smiling at each other.
Yumin looked at Yuuto and smiled at him 'Good boy' she thought to herself. She then looked over to her left side to see Katsu standing near Rita who seemed to be scolding him and calling him names.
'You on the other hand, don't have that type of luck. All though… Rita seems to have you wrapped around her little finger.' She thought to herself as she continued to watch them.
Later that day the group had arrived in a small town also known as Kaluno Town. It was once a lively town but now that the Nexus have caused trouble, people tended to keep to themselves and stay low.
"Looks like you guys made it."
Katsu turned his head to the left to see Konyu, Sheena, Lloyd, Asbel, Milla and Jude. "Milla, Jude!" Elize exclaimed.
"BUDDY!" Teepo exclaimed as he floated over to Jude and chomped his head. Jude quickly pulled Teepo off of his head and smiled "It's nice to see that you guys are alright." Jude smiled.
"Young Jude, and Lady Milla. It's good to see you both again." Rowen said. Yuuto looked at Elize and smiled "Hey, you're the ones who helped us out in the last job we took with Spiral Force? You know them?" He asked. Elize returned his smile and nodded "Yes, Jude and Milla are very close to me." She responded.
Milla nodded and looked at Rowen and Elize "It's good to see you both as well. So I take it you're a part of Yumin's guild?" She asked. Rowen nodded "Seeing as we're only staying for six months, I didn't see any harm in joining one for the time being. Besides all that I had a feeling we would run into each other sooner or later." Rowen replied.
"I think we should skip the pleasantries. We have a mission we need to handle."
Everyone turned to look at Aramis who was leaning against a sign that said "Welcome to Kaluno." Aramis had a short spiky light pink hair with light yellow eyes. He was wearing a red shirt with a black coat on top of it. He was wearing Black pants and black and black shoes. He was standing at 5'7 and had a slim body.
"I'm guessing you're Aramis?" Yuri asked. Aramis nodded and looked at him. "I am, and from what I heard from Yumin, you guys must be the guild members they sent over." He said.
Yuri nodded as he looked at him "Yeah, we are." He replied. Aramis looked at the group and nodded before turning around "Okay then, let's go. We don't have much time." He said as he began to walk off.
"Looks like we'll have to catch up later, the mission comes first." Jude said. Elize, Rowen and Milla nodded and followed after Aramis. Everyone else looked at each other and nodded as they followed Aramis.
Once they made it, they were located in the woods, where the Nexus base was at. The group was hinding behind a few trees looking at the fairly large base. It looked more like a prison then a base in their eyes.
"So how are we going to do this?" Lloyd asked as he noticed a few guards pacing back and forth in front of the door. Aramis kept his eyes on the guards as he kneeled down. "Well I'm going to put you all in separate teams and we'll attack from all sides. While you guys are distracting the guards I'll sneak in and get to the control room." He paused for a moment as he reached into his pocket and pulled out small ear headsets.
"We'll communicate with each other with these; we're going to need these. I'm going to make this place self-destruct. When I give the signal, I want you all to make a break for it and get away from this place. We'll meet up back at the town." He explained.
Everyone took the little devices and placed them in their ears. "Make sure to adjust the volumes. Now we're going to split off into teams and go inside from separate places. I was told by Moon and Yumin to put you in these specific teams. Lloyd, Asbel and Yuri. You guys will go in from the back way. Jude, Milla, Elize, Rowen and Yuuto will take out the guards in the front and continue on from there. Katsu, Rita, Sheena and Konyu will enter after Jude's group and take a different route afterwards" He explained.
'Seems like I won't be with Lloyd on this one.' Sheena thought to herself, feeling a little disappointed. But she was happy that Konyu would at least be there with her.
"So Yumin thinks she's funny by putting me with the idiot." Rita stated. Katsu gave her an annoyed look "Who are you calling an idiot?" He asked.
"Are you two going to be able to do this? You're making me nervous." Aramis said as he seemed to be getting slightly annoyed with Rita and Katsu.
"They'll be alright." Yuri stated which made Rita pout and turn away. Aramis nodded and then looked at everyone "If we're all ready then let's move out." He said.
Everyone nodded and made their move. Aramis started to move stealthy style making sure the guards didn't spot him. Everyone began to spread out and prepare their attack.
"Hey, you're not suppose to be here!"
"Stop!"
Jude's group had already made their move and took out the guards at the front entrance. "Let's move onward." Milla stated. Jude and the others nodded and followed her inside. The building was huge with grey hard floors. The walls were grey with green patterns. The place was crawling with guards, which made them happy that they were in a group.
Jude's group kept moving forward until a siren went off and a red light started flashing on the left side of the wall they had passed. As the door opened to let them proceed on, three guards stood in the way.
"We don't have time for this!" Yuuto said as he held up his scythe.
Rowen slowly stepped forward rubbing his beard which made Yuuto stop and look at him. "Please, allow me to handle this." Rowen said as he turned around and pulled something out of his sleeve.
"Hey, gramps! Step out of the way before you break a hip." One of the guards ordered.
Rowen quickly turned around and held his hands up revealing that they were empty "Oh, dear me. What a fearsome trio. A bit on the sloppy side, though. You two in the rear; isn't your formation a little wide?If you stand so far apart, how will you help your comrades in a moment of crisis?" He asked, simply schooling the guards.
Yuuto was in disbelief, "Is he lecturing them?" he asked as he glanced at Elize who was smiling. The smile caught him off guard and made him blush a little before hiding his face. "Just watch, trust me, Rowen knows what he's doing." She replied as she gave him a warm smile. .
"Shut up! Like we need your tactical advice!" The guard in the front exclaimed, not noticing his two teammates moving closer towards him, following Rowen's orders.
Rowen moved a little closer and looked at the front guard "And you, good sir. Aren't you standing a little too far forward? From there you might be able to catch me, but the good people behind me, on the other hand…" Rowen continued.
The Guard grunted and moved closer to his teammates, also following Rowen's orders. "There's a good soldier. As soon as Rowen was done speaking he quickly tossed three throwing knives to ground forming a triangle around the three guards.
The knives started to glow and cause a temporary barrier around them, trapping them inside. "Now's the time to leave." Rowen suggested. Milla and the others nodded and began running passed the knights.
"Hey, get back here!" The knight yelled.
Small explosions could be heard throughout the base, chaos was appearing everywhere. Katsu and his group were running down a hall way with guards chasing behind them. Konyu stopped and turned to them "Takes this, Double Demon Fang!" Konyu exclaimed as he launched two yellow projectiles at the guards. The attacked moved at a blinding speed, crashing into the guards before they could even react.
All that could be heard was the sound of guards screaming and hitting the ground. "In there!" Rita yelled out as she pointed to a room that was up ahead on the left side. Once they got inside they closed the door and locked it. Rita turned around to see a huge computer across from her on the other side of the room.
The computer looked similar to Moon's computer; it had a clear window on the left side and a frosted window on the right. It's also had some fancy blue LED feet and a blue cold cathode light inside. There were a bunch of other electronics inside and it was connected to a 70 inch LCD monitor that hung on the wall and a blue backlit keyboard.
Rita's eyes widened as she walked over to it, "While we're here, I might as well do some research and see how what kind of information I can find." She stated. Sheena turned her sights onto her "Do we even have time for that?" She asked.
"Well our orders were too keep the guards distracted. Gathering information on the enemy wouldn't hurt anything. The more we know, the better off we'll be." Katsu stated. Konyu nodded, "He's got a point." He replied.
Rita started clicking buttons on the Keyboard, making boxes appear on the screen. She scanned through the files looking for anything that would be useful.
"What's this?" She said to herself as she clicked on a file. The file opened up into a big box showing a bunch of writing.
"What did you find?" Katsu asked as he looked at the screen. A voice then came from the computer once the documents appeared.
"I haven't got much time; I pray that this recording of these experiments survives. A year ago, we discovered an Angel that came down from the sky, crash landing into the ground. The Angel seemed to be unconscious so we took it into our lab and began our experiment. But the Angel woke up and began causing Havoc in the lab. The angel is uncontrollable, with its monstrous powers, it's destroying our lab. We've dreamed of finding the strongest warrior… and we've succeeded."
Katsu's eyes shifted over too Konyu who gave him the same confused expression. "What the hell was that about? An angel came down and just blasted a bunch of people to death, doesn't make any sense. You would have thought that we would have known about that." Katsu said.
"If you ask me, I think it's their fault for trying to experiment on it." Konyu said as he crossed his arms.
"And you guys deserve death for meddling in someone else's business!"
The group turned to see Zira who was standing at the door way. She had her arms crossed and a devious smirk on her face. Katsu, Konyu, Sheena and Rita turned around with caution as they faced her. "It looks like a few rats have snuck in." Zira said.
"Funny, the only rat I see here is you." Konyu replied. This infuriated Zira, as she was a woman who looked at herself as a woman of every man's dream. She surly had the body and the looks to back it up, "How dare you call 'ME' a rat. You probably wish you had a girl like me, you little loser." She stated before pausing.
She sighed and looked to the ground for the moment before looking back at them. "Well, you might have a chance of getting a decent looking girl, if you're dating Melons over there." She said as she pointed at Sheena who brushed off the comment.
"But… If you're going after Ironing board, then I feel sorry for you." She added as she pointed to Rita. This annoyed Rita, someone she just met was talking about her chest. "I'm not going to sit here and take that!" She exclaimed.
Rita growled and channeled her mana and looked at Zira who had a smirk back on her face. "Fire Ball!" She yelled as 3 small fire balls were launched at Zira.
With her swift movements kept jumping to the left side of the room, dodging all of the fire balls that came her way.
Zira chuckled and looked at Rita "If that's the best you got, then I truly feel sorry for you." She retorted which made Rita growl in response.
"Don't make that face with me; I'm the last person you want as your opponent. But I did bring some people who would gladly step up to the challenge." She said as she raised her hand.
Soon after she did that the ground floor they were standing on began to shake. Rita, Sheena, Katsu and Konyu prepared themselves.
Parts of the ground started to morph and shape into three human figures. The way the rock figure was raising from the ground was intimidating.
The rock figure then shape shifted a rock like sword in its hand. It let out a hellacious scream which sent shiver down Konyu and the others spines.
Konyu got a good look at the Human rock figure and gritted his teeth "So that's where those rock knights came from. You created them!" He exclaimed.
Zira smiled and nodded "So not only are you cute but you're smart too. Yes I'm the one who created the Nexus soldiers. But you'll soon agree that these soldiers aren't as easy to beat as the ones you faced before." She stated.
As if on cue, one of the rock soldiers dashed forward and started to launch fifteen piercing jabs with its sword at Konyu.
Konyu quickly unsheathed his sword and blocked the attacks before kicking the knight in the stomach, knocking the soldier back eight feet.
"That was a Sword Rain: Delta! But how in the hell does it know that move?" Konyu asked in disbelief. "That move belongs to Konyu, I haven't seen anyone else use it." Katsu added.
Rita looked at Konyu and then Katsu who still had his eyes on Zira and here servants. "If that's the case, then how is that thing doing it?" She asked.
Zira laughed as a white light appeared between her two hands. A round hand mirror appeared from the light. The mirror's grips were made out of crystals that were colored red. It also had a red crystal rose on the grip.
"This mirror of mine has many abilities. One of them being able to capture a person's arte and giving it to another, no matter the attribute of the arte." She explained. Konyu and Katsu gritted their teeth "Looks, like we'll have to take them down before we can deal with Zira." Sheena stated.
Zira smirked and flipped her hair with her hand in a cocky manner "You can try."
Meanwhile, Lloyd, Asbel and Yuri, were running down a hall with guards chasing behind them. They stopped and turned around "Let me handle this." Lloyd said. His swords bursted into flames as he jumped into the air and then dived downward at an angle towards the enemies.
"Rising Phoenix!" He exclaimed. The arte crashed down on the guards knocking them all to the ground. "Good work Lloyd!" Asbel praised, while Yuri smiled.
The three of them continued on down the hall until they entered a large room that had computers and equipment inside. "I wonder what this place is." Yuri said. Asbel looked around and saw Chemicals and notepads on a few tables. "It looks like a research lab." He responded.
"So it seems I've found the intruders I've been hearing about."
Lloyd, Yuri and Asbel turned to see a man jumping down from the ceiling. A silhouette of a man stood 5'11 with a strong build. His hair layered a black spiked mess with bangs of pure white draping and shaping his rather sharp eyes. Hues of blood red with a black paint of way underneath them, those eyes looked as if they could kill a man and probably have. Upon his right ear lobe two silver hoop earrings. Dressing the young mans' lean body was a grey shirt with a collar popped into a deep V-neck. The grey shirt wore stripes and was decorated in a belt set that carried a large silver left forearm piece.
Leaving a bit of his arm bear before the forearm metal piece that complemented his forearm black gloves resided on his hand. The man's left arm was decorated in a black tattoo that wrapped around his toned arms hiding into his black gloves. Around the hips where the shirt tucked in wrapped two belts with two brown pouches fastened tight onto it. The lower half of the man wire dark pants in contrast to the two rather large white crosses tucked into metal boots with connected metal knee guards.
From head to toe the man looked rugged and to top off his persona he carried a rather large sword. The beast of a blade was taller and thicker than the boy holding it with a cross hilt and a bandage wrapped around the hilt. Leading to a red cross before the blade with a red gem the color of his eyes. The blade itself was dark metal no doubt handcrafted to perfection with a curved ridge on the inside peeking out to a smooth tip.
"So I'm guessing you guys are some of those so called 'Legendary Heroes' I've been hearing so much about. If you ask me, you guys don't seem all that legendary." He stated as he observed them.
"Besides that…" He said as he snapped his fingers. Six guards came in through the door and started to surround Lloyd, Asbel and Yuri. "Seems like we're surrounded" Asbel said.
"Just like a bunch of stupid vermin! I know your every move." The man laughed out loud. He then raised his hand, which on cue made the guards charge at the boys.
"Demon Fang!"
"Demon Fang!'
"Azure Edge!"
In an instant, the guards laid on the ground unconscious. Yuri, Lloyd and Asbel made quick work of the guards, and set their sights on the opponent standing before them.
"Dammit, how could you idiots allow these inferior beings to defeat you!?" The man asked as he gripped his sword. "Fine then… my name is Sayer. But you don't have to remember that, because you'll all be dead soon!" Sayer exclaimed.
"We'll see about that." Yuri said as he flipped his sheath and then unsheathed his sword.
"We won't let the Nexus have their way!" Asbel added as he gripped his sheathed and stood his ground preparing to attack.
"Whatever you're planning Sayer, it stops here and now. While we're in this world, the Nexus won't have their way." Lloyd also added as he held on to his swords tightly.
Sayer grinned and used his left hand to make a motion which told them to come at him. Yuri smirked and ran forward, Sayer smirked and prepared himself. As the two were finally close to one another, Yuri swung his sword aiming to slash Sayer down the middle.
Sayer lifted up his huge sword and blocked Yuri's attack. "If this is the best you got, then you better give up now." Sayer smirked.
Asbel jumped into the air which Sayer spotted immediately. He kicked Yuri in the stomach, knocking him back a few feet before blocking Asbel downward slash with his sword.
Lloyd would then spin around and launch a devastating Demon fang at him. The attack traveled on the ground and headed straight for Sayer.
Sayer smirked and lifted his sword up high "Let's see if you can handle this! Destruction Fang!" He exclaimed. Sayer slammed his sword on the ground, releasing a powerful energy wave. The yellow energy wave ripped through the ground finding its targets.
Knowing there was no escape inside the room, Yuri, Asbel and Lloyd put their guards up. The attack engulfed the Heroes and sent them crashing back first into a wall.
Asbel, Yuri and Lloyd were still conscious but slightly hurt. The gritted their teeth as the felt pain surge through their bodies.
Sayer laughed as he slammed his sword into the ground. "Really? This is the power of the Legendary Heroes. More like Legendary weaklings." He stated. Yuri, Lloyd and Asbel slowly started to stand preparing for another round. Sayer grinned and lifted his sword "Bring it on." He stated.
Meanwhile in another room, a seal to a vent way had fallen to the ground, the sound of the seal hitting the floor echoed through the room. Aramis landed on the ground and looked over his shoulder "So this is the control room, great! Now all I have to do is set this place to self destruct."
