Author's note: Well... shit. I know I have been rather bad lately at posting and when I do the chapters are pretty short and badly written. So to make up for it, here should be a good chapter. Also, please point out serious plot holes for me because I am pretty much keeping all of this story in my head and really can't remember every little detail such as certain character's ages when I have barely used them before or geography. Please?
Ps: Samui is like fifteen at the moment because plot holes!

Recap:
"Do you like twenty questions?" I asked.
The start of the new chapter:
"You know, cracking jokes and generally being weird is going to get you no where. It's not very cool," Samui returned.
"Well, lately I have had a serious change of outlook on life. I... think things differently now, I'm all together in a sense rather than several dozen facets fighting for control.
A happy medium. So excuse me for acting my age," I quipped.
"Wait... how old are you?" Samui asked.
"Thirteen."
"No way. Not very cool. You have to be at least sixteen!"
"Sorry to disappoint. Anyway seeing as how your village is rather close, has various people I rather not face, and I don't like having your blade at my throat, I'll cut you a deal. Ask me two questions and then let me be on my way," I said.
Why would I let you go? B-Sensei and Raikage-Sama will be here soon if my message I sent them has reached them. Then I can get all the answers I want... and ask all the questions I want," Samui fired back.
I narrowed my eyes. This was not going well for me. I wasn't running at one hundred percent and two of the most powerful men in the land of lightning were going to come force me to explain things I rather keep secret.
While I was rather powerful in my own right, after fighting two S-class shinobi and killing one as well as being placed under a five elemental seal, I was not ready to face a kage and the carrier of the second most powerful biju.
Also, if the rumors are to be believed, Killer B is a fully realized jinchuuriki. Something I am not... and a fully realized container is no joking matter. In most cases like this, the human and biju working together is more powerful than if the biju was free. A scary thought.
"Then I will just have to make my escape."
"I'm afraid that's too late now," a deep voice said.
Then all I knew was a sharp pain in my neck, disorientation, and the floor coming too fast for my liking.
…...…... Deep recesses of Naruto's mind …...
"Well, this is very boring," Yami Naruto yawned.
"Well," Kyuubi chuckled, "Our precious Naru-kun is growing, evolving into who knows what. You and I know the endgame. You seek chaos, I seek the Yondaime's death, and little Naruto desperately clings to the plans of an angry six year old mind."
"It's more in-depth than that. You know what Mito has done, what she used your powers for. My brother is so special... but in such a tragic way. An assassin's legacy since the days of shinobi clans. Mito wants the Senju and Uchiha completely wiped off the face of the Elemental Nations. Itachi also wants the Uchiha dead for his own selfish reasons. You want the man responsible for your incarceration dead. A large list for a person who is still yet a child."
"We both know Naruto never has nor ever will be a child. Too many plans, circumstances, and hardships have insured that. My seductions, tricks, bestowing of powers from before I had become a beast of chakra... It is all for one goal. The death of Minato Namikaze!"
"Yes, yes, yell more. I have listened to your demented ramblings for more than a decade. I get it. Just because your insane, horny, and nearly omnipotent has little effect on anything anymore due to your current situation," Yami added.
Kyuubi growled.
"Don't spite me shade. I still hold more power than you in this space."
"Mah, mah, I get it," Yami shot-back, "I'm just as anxious as you. I can't wait for my brother to began the show. Oh I can't wait for it. Maybe if you break that silly seal Orochimaru placed on him, he'll kill Minato faster."
"It's worth a try," Kyuubi muttered.
Then, slowly, red mist slithered from the cage that held the Kyuubi and swashed the representation of the five elemental seal in Naruto's mind. The red mist easily filled the smooth grooves in the ground and turned into the same material as the floor. In the outside world, the seal disappeared.
…...Somewhere in the mountains near Kumogakure...
"Wake up boy!"
I jerked awake and immediately attempted to break my constraints. My hands and feet were bound by ninja wire and I was laid roughly on my side on the cold stone that made up most of the land of lightning's terrain.
"Now I am A, the Raikage, got it? Good! Now listen closely! You will answer every question I have and I might not break all your bones."
I sighed. I forgot the Raikage was Minato's rival and his polar opposite in just about every way.
A was neither a genius tactician or a whiz with seals. He was all muscle and lightning. Literally.
I glared at the man.
"Fuck off! There is nothing you, your brother, or Samui can do to make me say a damn thing."
The whole time I ranted that, I was perniciously freeing my hands and feet.
"Are you sure little man," A said condescendingly.
"Pretty damn sure." I then spit in A's eyes, freed my hands with the usage of wind chakra and slammed my fist into his throat. I then freed my feet to let loos a kick in his groin.
Then, without a second spared, I sprinted for the woods I had spotted further down the mountain after scooping up the Kusanagi from a few feet away.
Before I had even gone twenty feet my senses went haywire. I ducked and shifted left barely dodging Killer B's attempt to skewer me.
I flared my chakra, immensely confused as to how the five elemental seal had disappeared. Regardless, I completed a short chain of seals and dozens of falcons made of wind shot forth from my mouth.
The air constructs flew forward to intercept Killer B. The bronze-skinned shinobi unsheathed two of his blades and the his arms became blurs.
Just as I was about to unleash a Katon jutsu, I had to dodge a lightning enhanced swipe from Samui's sword.
I watched annoyed as several strands of my hair fell after the close dodge. I in retaliation threw a jab at Samui while at the same time jumping over a lariat A attempted to catch me with.
As my feet once more touched Earth, Killer B came in with his blades swinging and I struggled to respond fast enough with Kusanagi. Then in a stunning show of spatial awareness I moved my body and limbs out of the way of a dozen shuriken thrown by Samui while ducking beneath a flurry of attacks from both A and Killer B.
The Raikage then stepped back, and unleashed a volley of lightning bolts. I responded by jabbing my fingers into the stone ground and ripped up two thick walls of stone. I then jumped into the air as the walls shattered.
Damn Earth being weak to Lightning!
Samui and the carrier of Hachibi then unleashed sword stroke after sword stroke at me in tandem in a frightening display of swordsmanship. Their silver steel mere flashes of gray as I struggled to move the Kusanagi to block their strikes.
Having enough of being forced into a corner by the three Kumo-nin, I summoned forth my Mangekyo and roared, "Amaterasu!"
The black fire flew forth in a war path, splitting into three separate flames that aggressively chased my opponents. As I controlled the flame, I clutched my bleeding eye. The red blood flowed down my face, not stymied entirely by my hand. Just as the black flame was about to hit Samui and kill her, my chakra faltered and the flames disappeared. With no chakra to sustain them, the Amaterasu flames consumed themselves.
I gnashed my teeth I was still low on chakra and tired from my fight only a few hours earlier against Orochimaru.
The Raikage and Killer B then rushed towards me, their arms linked in a double-sided lariat.
I gulped and jumped skyward only to then realize my mistake. Samui then threw several kunai at me. I grabbed one and batted away another but was struck in the thigh by a third one. I clenched my teeth painfully and ripped the blade out, hoping it was not poisoned.
I thundered in agony as the blade left my leg, my throat hoarse from constant yelling. After all the abuse my body had suffered today, my body was extremely sensitive to pain.
With a cry of desperation I drew upon Kyuubi's chakra.
…...Konohagakure...
"So... this is how it is, Jiraiya. My son as a child was put under the power of Mito's seals that had been placed as sleeper seals on Kushina making myself and Kushina ignore Naruto and made most of Konoha's populace hate him. Then, not only did Mito plan for the entire Senju clan's death and the Uchiha clan's death through using Naruto, Itachi Uchiha did too. Then the Kyuubi did shit too my son to make him want to kill me or maybe Naruto just wanted to kill me and the Kyuubi nurtured it or something. After all that shit, now you're telling me that a group of S-class-nin called the Akatsuki are after my son and possibly Narumi?"
"In a nutshell, yes Minato."
"I'm going to go get a stiff drink and drown myself in it, care to join?" I asked Jiraiya.
"Sure, why not," was Jiraiya's reply.
The two practitioners of the Shinobi arts the ambled their way to a bar. After several minutes of walking, they arrived at a bar called the "Tipsy Kunai".
"Jiraiya... I'm really in a shit-hole ain't I," I groused.
"Actually, it really isn't that much worse than a few of the stories that Hiruzen-Sensei used to tell to Tsunade, Orochimaru, and I when when we were a genin team about the first two shinobi world wars or the kind of stuff The first and second Hokages told him when he was a genin. If you want some good advice, ask him. The old fart will surely give you some insight into what to do," Jiraiya advised.
"You know what Jiraiya-Sensei, thanks. I will," I replied.
Jiraiya and I then lifted our drinks and downed them.
…...The Sarutobi's clan grounds...
I walked calmly up the path to the semi-traditional home of one Hiruzen Sarutobi. Hopefully the third Hokage could help me.
I gently grasped the knocker and banged it a few times to get the attention of the inhabitants of the home. A few moments later the small figure of the aging third Hokage appeared.
"Minato," the third said with no inflection.
"Sarutobi-San. May I enter?"
"Come."
I followed slowly to a low table where we both knelt at. The fine wood and the heavy smell of tobacco smoke that perforated the room did not escape me.
"So what has brought you to visit me Minato?" Sarutobi asked.
"I came to ask what to do about my son," I said. I then explained all I knew about what was going on with my son.
"I see" Sarutobi then lit his pipe, "Now explain why I should help you?"
"What! Why wouldn't you?" I asked confused.
"I watched your boy over the years when you were ignorant of his problems. I could sense the powerful things happening because of Mito's madness. There was a reason that Konoha did not save the Uzumaki clan village during the shinobi world wars. Too many mad people in both senses of the term came from that village that wanted the Senju and Uchiha. Sadly, the first Hokage was unable to see that because of his infatuation with Mito.
But to return to the topic. I did what I could for your boy. Sent Itachi his way so he may have a friend, made it so he could access knowledge that would otherwise be locked from him due to his age or the unreasonable hatred for the poor lad. But there was only so much I could do and I couldn't even get too close to him or I wouldn't be able to resist Mito's seal.
You want to know why I need to know why I should help you. It's because you were married to a bloody Uzumaki and you yourself are a user of seals of a most powerful caliber. One of you should at least sensed it!"
"But... but... Sarutobi-San! Please! This isn't for me. This is for my wife and daughter. I now only see the two either together training or by themselves giving into their vices. My wife Kushina smoking her lungs to oblivion and Narumi crying her eyes out. Half the village hates me for letting my son kill that Hyuuga girl and leave. The other damn half is just glad he is gone! The Hyuuga and Uchiha are both against me and each other. If I hadn't conceded several things to Danzo for his loyalty, this village would be in the throws of a three way coup!"
"Then listen closely, Minato. Let! The! Dice! Fall! Where! They! May! As simple as that. You can never please every one. In all my years as Hokage, war was always around the corner. Danzo and people like him were always a necessary evil to keep our enemies at bay and our troops and citizens in line. Shore up your troops! Repair your defenses and simply survive through the troubles because they don't go away! A civilization is never great because of it's technology or it's armies! It's because they survive and their enemies die. Your son is just one problem. He will come back! Be ready for it. Naruto has to find his own path even with so many people trying to control his destiny. The only certainty is he will come back. Bank on that," Hiruzen ranted.
I stared numbly at Hiruzen, "Thank you Sarutobi-San. Your counsel was helpful."
"It's fine. I made you my successor for a reason. Now go. My grand son is coming to visit soon. I want it to be a nice visit."
...…...With Naruto...
The red chakra spewed from my pores like a geyser. Instantly I had gone three tails. I charged a rasengan and threw it like a baseball at Killer B while I blocked Samui's sword strikes with my chakra tails.
In my left hand I held the Kusanagi, my red chakra running along it's length freely, the chakra lighting it up in a demonic way. "Just let me leave... and this will be all over."
"Not a chance Naruto. We need some information that you are holding. If you left now it wouldn't be very cool," Samui warned.
"Fool-o nine-o, thinking you so damn fine though. You can't bounce until I pounce to get the info for my brother-o!" Killer B said.
I merely sweat-dropped at Killer B's strange way of speaking before dodging a combined assault from Samui and A. The two let loose a killer attack of lightning moves, pun intended. I weaved left and right with my chakra tails seemingly almost omniscient as they blocked attacks.
Just as I was about to counter attack. Killer B's own biju cloak covered hand grabbed my chakra tails and flung me at a tree. I twisted my body midair and landed feet first against the tree, my feet attached to the tree trunk's bark.
"This isn't very fair!" I whined.
I was quite tired of fighting unfair fights.
"Then give up. I don't want to hurt you. It's not very cool," Samui replied.
"Or you and muscle bros can let me leave," I returned.
"No can do, boy. Too many things about you give us reasons to capture you," A said seriously.
"Yeah nine-o! We can't just let you roll. Unless you got some serious Brain dough to spill with us nice fellows!" B rapped(i.e. attempted too).
"I'm not a guy/You suck at rapping," A and Samui yelled before smacking B, who for his sake, barely moved.
"Now either surrender or Killer B and I are going to start using some of the big jutsus."
I groaned. Why do my opponents always try to intimidate me. I literally trained with, grew up with, and at this point killed legendary shinobi. These tactics of intimidation didn't work before and won't work now.
"I'll have to pass. But how about you guys run?"
"Why-o would we Mr. fox-o?" B asked.
"Because of this," I looked straight at Killer b and spoke quietly, "Mangekyo Sharingan: Tsukuyomi."
…... Tsukuyomi Mind-scape...
"Wake up B."
"What-a! Not cool-a, Mr. fox-a!" B horribly rapped.
"Well, you and the Raikage left me no choice. I wasn't going to fight fairly against not only you and Samui, but a kage too. Anyway, I have a spiel to say about this technique and you are going to listen. It will give you a little idea of what's to come.
This is Tsukuyomi. This is my ultimate genjutsu. Anything I desire to happen in here shall happen. I can also alter time to make a second become days. But the jutsu has it's drawbacks. But you don't need to know those. Now how do you feel about seventy-two hours of torture that will feel much longer than that. Fun? Ok!"
…...Real World...
I blinked and fell to one knee. That jutsu took a lot of chakra. Across from me Killer B collapsed to the ground.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!" A bellowed.
"I simply evened the odds. He's not dead if that's what your asking, just unconscious. Though the state of his mind... well it's probably broken... forever" I grinned sinisterly.
"Samui, take B back to the village. I'll handle this bastard."
"But Raikage-Sama..."
"Do as I say!" A yelled.
"Yes, Raikage-Sama!"
Samui then rushed over to Killer B and shunshin'd away.
I sighed. My chakra cloak had been used all up to make the Tsukuyomi work as well as it did. Months of mental torture all in the span of a second.
"Raikage-San. Go back to your village. I don't wish to fight any longer. I never did at the beginning of this. But you wouldn't let me go. Simply let me leave and no further harm shall befall you or your village," as I spoke I subtly spawned two clones to gather Sage chakra in the trees.
"That can't be done now. You have injured my brother, you have insulted me, and you look like that bastard Minato and have a strange Sharingan. You're going no where!"
The Raikage's body was then cloaked in lightning, "You're done for!"
…...In Konohagakure...
I took another drag from my cigarette. The nicotine did nothing for me anymore. The action was just a habit nowadays.
I didn't know what to do. I never really did. Back before I knew the complete truth, I just ran in circles trying to find someone to blame other than me. But to know that the cause of my suffering, the breaking apart of my family, and so many more things was my grandmother Mito. Well it was game changing.
Mito. Why did my grandmother have to be batshit insane. It was infuriating, like a piece of food stuck between your teeth that is unable to be removed. My blood was the cause. Or more specifically my bloodline.
The Uzumaki. The most disturbed and unlucky clan on the face of this Earth. All it has ever done is cause me trouble. But I was proud to carry the name. Until now of course.
But now. Now I don't know. It was my one constant as a child but now it was something hateful to myself. I didn't know how to react. How would someone react to finding out your lineage is what lead to your troubles.
I just wished things weren't so bad. That I wasn't a smoker. That my husband wasn't gaining gray hairs from a stressful job and worry over our son. That my daughter wouldn't train herself to the bone every day and every night cry herself to sleep missing her brother.
I wished for so many things... and I couldn't have any of them.
Author's note: Alright. Hopefully I can bring this story back to being awesome. Or, you know, decent. Anyway, review. Please? Pwetty Please?
