Staring down at his phone, Camille lifted her gaze over to Moose as he soundly slept in her bed just a few feet away.
Reading the text message again she thought of all the possibilities, a close friend, maybe a relative she wasn't aware of...
She scrabbled be to sensible, she wasn't the jealous type, she was level headed, calm, a person who didn't freak over ever little thing.
Only something about it just hit her wrong, it seemed, personal.

Closing her eyes she brought her hand to her heart trying to calm down.
It couldn't be what she was fearing, not after everything they had been through.
Talking it through in her mind she took a deep breath.
There was no way he'd come all this way, no way he'd sleep with her, no way he tell her he loved her if he was in a relationship with someone else.
That just wasn't Moose, and it definitely wasn't something he would do to her, not in a million years.
Shielding the bright sun that was streaming through the windows she pulled the shades down as she slid back under the covers with him.
Lying on her side she watched him sleep, still holding the phone in her hand.
She had always had strong feelings him, always knew that no one could ever replace him or make her feel the way he did, but after last night, after making love, she knew her heart was deeply invested in him, she was in love.
She couldn't just let this go. Camille did her best to convince herself that it was nothing, but she also knew how she was, how after he got on that plane to go home she'd analyze this stupid text message to death, along with every word he said wondering if she somehow missed something.
Thinking back to last night she couldn't remember asking him if he was involved with, or even casually dating someone.
Flipping over on her back she stared at the ceiling realizing that she didn't, but that she shouldn't have had to.
Moose knew her, he knew that she never would've slept with him if he was in a relationship, plus what happened between them was so much more that just a hook up.
Things had changed, words were said, words of commitment and love, so why did she have this horrible feeling, and who the hell was this Maria.
Suddenly she felt an arm wrap around her tiny waist pulling her swiftly beneath his warm, heavenly body knocking the phone out of her hand and onto the floor.
She gasped as his lips swept along hers in a lingering deep kiss before parting slightly giving her a sleepy sexy grin that only he could level her with.
"Good morning."
Before she could think any longer about this mess, Moose had pulled the sheet over them settling his body between her legs, tenting them in their own little private world.
Feeling him pressed to her as he peppered light kisses all over her cheeks and nose she could barely breath never realizing she could be this happy.
"I'd thought you'd never wake up." she teased as he lifted his messy curls from those expressive eyes that seemed to swallow her up entirely.
"Don't I get a pass for jet lag?"
Shaking her head playfully she whispered in his ear. "I don't think a five hour flight can give you jet lag, maybe you just can't keep up with me like you used to, you are getting older."
Raising one eyebrow, he hesitated briefly, giving her a devilish grin, she knew she was in trouble.
"Oh you really shouldn't have said that."
Giggling loudly Camille grabbed his wrist as he reached down to tickle her side remembering just how sensitive she was in just the right places.
Seeing her laugh, how she practically would glow, sent him back in time, back when they were just kids, it was then that he realized he had always been in love with her, from the very beginning.
"Moose! Stop! This isn't fair, you're not ticklish at all!"
She caught a glimpse of a sweet sleepy smile before she felt his soft lips drift along her neck to shell of her ear.
"You're the one not playing fair laying next to me naked watching me sleep, you could give a guy heart attack."
Playfully slapping him across his chest she shyly looked away. "Shut up."
Lifting her chin forcing her to look him in the eyes he brushed his thumb along her bottom lip.
"You really have no idea how beautiful you are do you? Camille, when i saw you last night, I could barely breathe, I feel like this is all a dream, that being here with you, it just can't possibly be real."
Her heart skipped a beat as his husky whispered tone swept along her skin.
Reaching up she wrapped her thighs around his hips, showing him exactly how she felt, as her hands laced through his unruly curls.
Her sultry voice took him by surprise reminding him that the insecure girl he once knew was long gone.
"Does it feel real now?"
His eyes drifted shut feeling just how wet she was for him already, his body responded immediately gliding through her folds causing her to grip his arms tight.
Kissing his way along her neck to her jaw he hovered over her lips as he cupped her cheek breathlessly.
"Definitely getting there."
His cheeky grin fell away as he began to kiss her slowly, deeply skimming his fingertips along the curve of her body as he continued to tease her.
She took a deep shuddering breath as he swept his mouth down the slope of her neck placing soft butterfly kisses along her collarbone.
Lacing his fingers through hers, he raised her arms above her head as he once again found her lips.
The way he stared at her with those big brown eyes, with so much emotion, such vulnerability, she could barely form a thought.
He was captivated by her, consumed by her beauty, mesmerized, completely lost in everything that she had become, and still was after all this time.
Camille suddenly glanced over at the clock on her nightstand jarring him from his thoughts.
"Moose! We lost track of the time! If you don't leave soon you're going to miss your flight."
Gasping as he moved slowly between her thighs he captured her mouth once again for a long passionate embrace.
"Shh…"
Releasing her he smoothed his hand beneath her bottom clutching her gently as he slid deep inside in one slow thrust leaving her panting beneath him.
His voice was shaky as he pressed his forehead to hers still in disbelief that this was real.
"I'll take a later flight, I can't leave just yet, not after last night, not after everything that's happened. I've waited far too long for this, for you."
Moose struggled to take it slow, wanting so much to make love to her, to show her exactly how much he cared, how much she meant to him.
Sliding his hand down between her breasts over her trembling stomach he grazed her lightly between her thighs, drawing out the moment for as long as possible.
Overwhelmed he couldn't help himself as he began to move faster, harder as he looked down into her eyes.
His whispered voice strained against her lips worried that he was hurting her. "Are ...you... ok?"
Strumming her clit with every thrust, watching her intensely, she raised her hips to meet him with every stoke.
Nodding, unable to speak, she twisted the sheets around her hands as she arched up feeling everything fall away around her.
He mouthed the words 'I love you' as he watched her come, following her almost immediately he held her close, burning the memory of this moment in his mind, never wanting to forget the way she felt, and how incredibly lucky he was, knowing that now he could never let her go.

It was well into the night when he emerged from the shower, they had spent most of the day in bed forgetting the world around them even existed.
Camille was sitting on the counter talking to a friend when she turned to wink at him standing in just a towel wrapped around his waist.
Smiling wide he took the towel off and threw it around his shoulders just to see her blush.
Covering her mouth trying to hide her burst of laughter, she turned away from him to quickly end her call.
Watching him dress it was his turn to blush as she stood with her arms crossed in front of her grinning from ear to ear.
"What's so funny?" he whispered lightly as he pulled his shirt over his head.
Walking slowly towards him she hooked her finger into the loop of his jeans to pull him close.
"Nothing, it's just, you're such a man now, but you still have that boyish face, that sweet smile, you're still that Moose I remember...
Her voice trailed off in a melancholy way as she purposefully looked down releasing her grip from him.
Noticing that look of concern, when her eyebrows furrowed, she seemed a million miles away.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
Shrugging slightly she tried hard to hide her concerns.
"This long distance thing, it's going to be hard, between school and both our careers I'm just - "
Running the back of his hand down her cheek he sighed already missing her.
"You're over thinking this, like you do everything Cam. Listen, why don't you come back with me."
Shocked, she already looked overwhelmed at such a rash and spontaneous suggestion.
Laughing he kissed her snapping her out of her thoughts knowing what a type 'A' personality she was.
"I know its a temporary solution, but you said this morning that you've got nothing going on for the next few weeks. Fly back with me, you can stay at my house, my parents love you. We'll figure things out from there."
Hesitating for a few moments, she did her best not think too much about the risks she was taking, seeing how laid back and calm he seemed about all this.
It occurred to her that maybe sometimes you have to give up control, that you have to just trust that everything will just fall into place if it's meant to be.
Biting hard on her bottom lip trying to contain her excitement/nervousness she rose up on her toes and hugged him tight.
"I'll call the airline, you call and check with your mom, I'm not just going to show up at their door unannounced."
Running to the couch he looked all over for his phone as Camille booked her flight.
Finally finding it on the floor by her bed his stomach fell when he read Maria's message.
With everything that had happened Moose had completely forgotten about Maria.
"Oh I was going to ask you about that, I didn't mean to read your texts, but remember we thought it was your mom?Moose, I don't mean to pry, and I'm sure it's nothing but... who is Maria?"
