Naruto
The clones hulled Rin and myself up and over the railing. We both gave a sigh of relief.
"Impressive shadow clones." Rin commented.
I grinned, "Thanks."
"Hey! You little twerps!" I heard a voice shout, followed by the poof of some clones disappearing.
"Naruto, you find Koyuki, I'll distract them!" Rin said quickly before charging into my sea of clones.
"You got it!" I headed towards that door to the lower levels of the blimp.
3rd person
"Once I have possession of the Kazahana fortune, our country can obtain military superiority over the five great nations." Doto ranted.
"Not gonna happen!" Naruto shouted, standing at the far end of the room.
"You!" Koyuki exclaimed, surprised.
"How did you get in here?" Doto asked bewildered.
"Heh, never underestimate a ninja!" he smirked.
All of a sudden ropes wrapped around him, restricting his movements. Mizore jumped down from the ceiling, and hit Naruto on the back of his neck.
The elevator doors opened behind them and hundreds of tied up Naruto's rolled out.
Fubuki soon entered, holding a bound Rin.
"Ah, sorry Naruto. I got caught." She laughed embarrassed.
"Well, this little runt knows the shadow clone jutsu." Doto said a little impressed, "He would make a great test subject for that little contraption."
Rin's eyes widened in astonishment, "No! Don't—" Fubuki kicked Rins' knee sending her face first to the ground, muffling her voice in the carpet.
"Quiet." She commanded.
The contraption was attached to Naruto, who let out pained yells as the device shocked him, sealing his chakra. He collapsed to the ground, all his strength sealed. The clones poofed away, leaving only the original Naruto and Rin on the floor.
"Naruto! Are you okay?" Rin asked, struggling to make her way towards him. She crawled like an inchworm until she was right next to him. Upon seeing him consciousness, she gave a sigh of relief.
"Hm interesting," Nadare commented, picking Rin up by her hair "you seem to actually care for this little team of yours much more than I thought."
Rin glared at him, before head butting him in the face. He dropped her in surprise, holding his bruised nose.
"Why you." He glared, but then stopped, getting an idea. "Fubuki." He called.
"Yes?" She answered dutifully.
"Take Rin to her room when we land, and don't take those chakra ropes off her."
Rin was dragged from the room, spouting a very colorful language about what the snow ninjas could do with their chakra rope.
"Damn. It." Naruto muttered, his consciousness slowly fading until he passed out.
Rin
Fubuki tossed me into the room, and I landed harshly on the ground.
"Enjoy your stay." She said sarcastically, as she slammed the door, and locked it.
"Damn it." I muttered. I was tied up like a cocoon, restricting nearly all movement. The only thing I could do was wiggle back and forth like a dying fish.
I shifted my gaze from the door to the rest of the room. Well instead of a room it was more like a cell. The room was made entirely of metal with no furniture or anything. It was exactly like I remembered. Harsh memories came back, but I quickly shoved them aside. I twisted my body awkwardly trying to figure out some way to get out.
I heard the door unlock, and my head shot to the side. Nadare strolled into the room like the most carefree person in the world.
"Comfortable?" he asked.
"Oh, I'm quite peachy, thanks for asking." I snarled.
"We've contacted Orochimaru." He said, smirking at my expression. "We'll be returning you to his hideout once we deal with the Princess."
My hands curled into fist, but I kept my face blank, "Whatever."
He kneeled to my level, "Trying to be brave are you?" he yanked me up by my shirt so he could see my face clearly.
"You honestly thought you'd be able to run away? Live in the leaf village and hold hands around the campfire with your brother?" he questioned shoving me to the ground and walking to the center of the room.
"Have you forgotten, this is you're home!" he said gesturing with his hands, a sadistic smile on his face. "You are a lab experiment! Material used to scrape together data, and discarded like trash! You think those at that village know you? The real you? Do they even know what you've done? How many you've killed?" he paused, before looking at me then slowly smiled, "Do they know about Arisa?"
My heart clenched and I turned to the side, the memories I'd been suppressing since getting here, flooded my brain. It overflowed my senses and I blacked out.
"Get up." Kabuto demanded.
My face scrunched up and my eyes slowly opened. I was lying on the floor of the empty room. Kabuto had just rudely interrupted my nap. I flexed my shoulder and winced in pain. It had been a week since Orochimaru gave me the curse mark, and it hurt like hell.
"Seeing as the experiment was a success, and you didn't die from the curse mark, you should be happy." He said emotionlessly.
"Thrilled." I muttered. "What are we doing in the land of snow anyway?"
He glanced at me, wondering if I was worth the time. "Well," he smirked, "It's a place no one can hear you scream."
I rolled my eyes, "That jokes getting old."
"Alright, alright. Orochimaru wants to test the power you gained with the curse mark."
"So, I'm just gonna fight people?" I asked bored.
"Mm. not exactly. You see the curse mark is still in its experimental stages. So far the only ones who have been able to do it had strong…. emotional incentives I guess you could say."
"So you want me to get angry?"
"Something like that."
I narrowed my eyes at him. He gestured to the door and Arisa walked into the room.
Arisa was a girl I had met when I first came to Orochimaru. We were both here against our will, and ended up becoming fast friends. She had a sister who was the victim of a failed experiment, and was left very weak. We've known each other for 5 years, but we kept our friendship a secret. We'd meet after lights out, or sneak around to visit her sister in the lab. It was probably the closest thing I had to a normal life.
"Arisa? What are you doing here?" I asked. How did they find out? I was sure they never suspected her. I never wanted her to get into trouble.
Kabuto snapped his fingers and another door on the side of the room opened, grotesque looking experiments walked through. They had been so mutated that they no longer looked human. Each had animal-like qualities. It felt like I was a lamb thrown into a pit of hungry tigers.
"Protect her as long as you can." Kabuto said happily while walking towards the door, "Don't let her die." He waved and slammed the door shut.
"Kabuto you bastard!" I yelled. The monsters charged. "Arisa stay behind me okay?" She nodded weakly and shuffled behind me, her hands shaking.
I took on the monsters by myself. They weren't very powerful, but there were a lot in numbers, about 50 or so. I wasn't surrounded by any elements so creating a jutsu from nothing took a lot more chakra.
"Fire style: Phoenix flame!" I blew out fire and flames attacked the 12 monsters that had surrounded me. They howled in pain as they were engulfed. I turned to the next set, but one of them was fast and quickly pinned me by the neck against the wall. I struggled in his grip, but he smiled showing his sharp yellow teeth. His hands were claws, making him look like a cross between a bear and a tiger. He licked my face with his tongue. I used both my feet and kicked him right in the stomach.
I caught my breath before the thing came back for a rematch; I was just about to snap its neck when a shriek cut through the air. My eyes immediately found Arisa. A monster that looked like an alligator had bit her ankle and didn't look like it was going to let go.
"Shit!" I cursed. At the beginning, the monsters had only focused on me. I thought they would've left her alone until I was dead.
Anger flooded me and my mind went to autopilot using up almost all my chakra. I killed every last monster in 5 minutes flat. By the time I was done, the room smelled of iron, and corpses were everywhere. I was soaked with crimson, but Arisa was safe. I knelt next to her.
"Are you okay?" I asked looking at her ankle.
She gave a week nod, and I helped her up.
"Kabuto open the damn door! The experiment failed I didn't activate the curse mark." I shouted while knocking.
Strangely enough, he didn't answer. The door didn't open, he didn't say anything. That's weird. He should be watching. I was about to knock again when I felt a stab of pain shoot through my side. I fell to the ground clutching my wound. Turning my gaze to Arisa, she stood above me holding a small blade. She had just missed my vital point.
"Arisa? What?" I asked confused.
She looked at me with disdain while twirling the blade in her hand.
"A shame isn't it?" she asked, her normally shy demeanor gone, replaced with arrogance and distaste. "Thought you had saved me?" she asked, mock pouting.
I stared at her shocked, this wasn't the Arisa I knew.
"Surprised? Che, you're so stupid. Honestly, you really thought meeting me 5 years ago was coincidence? The whole thing was arranged from the beginning. I can't believe you fell for all that friendship crap."
"But, but you…. your sister…. I.I thought."
"You thought what?" she asked putting a hand on her hip, "You thought we actually liked you? I despise you. You're the reason my sisters in the state she is!"
My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"The failed experiment she was a victim of, was made for you. The whole five-element thing was first tested on her! She was used as a guinea pig so that the project would be successful on you. If you weren't here she might've had an actually survived. Now, she's dead!"
I gripped my wound to try and stop the bleeding.
"When I heard this experiment was made for you I knew I could get my revenge. They needed someone to play the role of your friend so they could crush your emotions in the end. I volunteered myself. If you were never born this wouldn't have happened." She began to shake and she gripped the dagger tighter.
"You were never wanted!" she shouted hysterically, "You know why your family gave you away?! They didn't want you, so why are you still trying to escape?! You have no one! Nowhere to go! You're better off dead!" she raised the blade, and something in me snapped. Chakra flooded my senses, my skin turned darker, and my hair changed from black to dark gray. The wound I got from Arisa healed, but my heart felt dead. I think I was crying, but I couldn't be sure. My consciousness wasn't there. I could only feel pain; pain from being abandoned, pain from being betrayed again and again. I just wanted to end it all.
I was vaguely away what I was doing. I felt the power to destroy anyone. I remember screaming at Arisa, I remember grabbing her slender neck. I remember the light in her eyes fading. I remember her body becoming lifeless before I could regain control of myself.
I lied on the ground, panting. Nothing seemed to matter anymore.
The door creaked open and Kabuto entered clapping.
"Good job," he praised, "You managed to awaken the curse mark."
In a flash I grabbed him by the shirt and threw him into the wall, knocking his glasses off his face, and he landed heavily on the floor.
"What the hell, Kabuto?! What was that? Just how long have you been planning this little experiment? What do you take me for?!" I shouted, panting heavily.
He slowly picked himself up, and raised his head. His glare was worse than any look I'd ever seen before. It made my body shiver at the bloodlust in his eyes.
"What do I take you for?" he questioned, his tone deadly, "Exactly what you are. An abandoned child who has no purpose in this world other than to serve. Like Arisa said, you have no family, you have no friends, you have no one. No one's coming to save you, no one cares about you. The only reason you're even here is so that we can gather data when we need your brother. You are nothing. It's as simple as that."
He went over to his glasses and put them back on, his normal façade back once again. He gave me a fake smile, and my body shook just remembering how scary Kabuto could actually be.
"Why did you need to do this?" I asked quietly.
He sighed, "The emotions most test subjects had were anger mixed with hurt, despair, conflict, things like that. The curse mark responds to those emotions more than any other. It's only obvious we would get you to experience these same emotions in order to draw out your power." He said matter-of-factly and began to make his way towards the door.
"Good luck trying to draw out my power next time. Now, I have nothing." I said dryly.
He only smirked in my direction, "I suppose you're right, but you've already drawn out you power once. You've fulfilled the purpose of the experiment. Now that you're done I guess you're back where you started." He paused in the doorway. "Alone, and no longer needed." He slammed the door closed on his way out.
I slumped to the floor and my gaze fell on Arisa's lifeless body. I clenched my fist and for some reason my chest bubbled with laughter.
"You're wrong, Arisa. I do have a family." I looked at my blood-covered hands, "They're out there somewhere, and I'm going to find them. I'll never give up trying to escape, and once I do, I'll kill them, just like I did to you."
I startled awake, breathing heavily and shaking.
"Having a trip down memory lane?" a voice asked making me jump. Nadare was here and I remembered my current situation.
"You know," I smirked, "you're standing exactly where Arisa died."
He looked surprised for a second before he narrowed his eyes. "You find killing someone funny?"
I closed my eyes, before letting out a small sigh, "The fact that she was able to deceive me is almost laughable. I've changed from the person I used to be."
"Everyone who works for Orochimaru knows you wanted to kill your brothers." He stated, "But who knows, maybe tonight we'll grant your wish."
I glared at him, "Yeah right, Sasuke is way stronger than you guys. He'll kick your ass."
He backhanded me across my face harshly, "Well look at this, Rin has a brother complex now." He ruffled my hair briefly before I tried to bite him. "This'll make it just much more satisfying when we kill him."
An explosion shook the building, interrupting our conversation.
"Looks like their here." Nadare stated heading towards the door, "Don't worry well let you see their bodies before we dispose of them."
I sat there for a while thinking things over. There's no way they'll be able to find this place. Looks like I'm on my own. I sighed, how am I suppost to get out of here? These chakra ropes are annoying. Maybe if I accessed the power of my curse mark I'll be able to get free, but no…that's impossible…
Another explosion shook the building, reminding me I was running out of time. Don't really have much of a choice now, do I?
Taking a deep breath I focused, Kabuto's words repeating in my head…
"The emotions most test subjects had were anger mixed with hurt, despair, conflict, things like that. The curse mark responds to those emotions more than any other."
I focused on the things that have cause me those emotions in the past. My family betraying me, my brothers abandoning me, Arisa lying to me. My heart ached, and a few tears dripped onto my checks, but soon I felt a flood of chakra. It came too quickly for the ropes to absorb it all. I took the opportunity and broke free.
I looked at my hands; sure enough my skin was dark, and my hair gray. I felt powerful. I could feel the rage building inside me. Arisa was dead, and Sasuke deserved the same. Sasuke, that bastard. He was such a jerk, leaving me. He abandoned me.
I wanted to break his head open, choke him till he couldn't breathe. It would feel good to watch him beg for his life.
I felt nothing, no injuries, just raw power. With this chakra, nothing would stand in my way. I lifted my hand towards one of the walls. Lighting shot out, and crashed into it, burning it in seconds. I laughed, this power was so easy to use, so simple.
I jumped into the air and aimed a kick in the floor. Infusing it with my new chakra caused the floor to bend and I formed a crater. The floor bent like sand, the walls dented like foil. My laughing turned dark and cruel.
This feels good. I think I'll use water style to get out of here "Water style: Ballistic Water Whirl!"
Nothing happened. I looked around confused, what the hell? My eyes widened in realization. I can't use Water style anymore.
With water gone, I had lost 4 out of the 5 elements. I only have lightning style left. My times running out.
This knocked me back to my senses. The chakra immediately left my body, replaced by panic, and I fell to the ground.
I lied on the floor shaking. My consciousness finally came back to me. I sat there for a while, my brain trying to catch up with all that had happened.
I was about to kill Sasuke. What the hell? Where did that come from? Was I actually still angry? Is that why I lost it? I stared at my hands, what was I thinking? The idea of killing Sasuke had just made me feel happy, now I felt scared. I touched the curse mark on my neck. Is it this thing that's making me act this way? Or…is that what I feel?
And what was up with my water style. I mean, it was working fine before, but now I can't use it at all. That burst of chakra from my curse mark must've shortened my lifespan even more. I only have one elements left. What did that mean? Do I have 2 months to live? 2 weeks? No. I'll be lucky if I live to the end of the month. I was running out of time. What do I do?
I took a couple of minutes to catch my breath and steel my nerves. Now's not the time for this! Worrying won't do anything. Focus, Rin, focus! I looked around the room for a way to get out. The door was unbreakable in the state I was in.
If I remember correctly Doto needed to go to the rainbow glacier to get the treasure or whatever. Oh that's right! I went to one of the darker corners of the room and felt around on the floor. One of the tiles is a door that leads to an area by the glaciers. I had dug the tunnel in one of my (failed) attempts to escape all those years ago. It should still be here.
Clack
Bingo. I lifted the loose tile and sure enough there was a hole under it. It would take a while to get to the glaciers, but it's better than nothing.
After walking for what felt like forever I finally got to the end of the tunnel. It had a ladder climbing up. I pushed the top open, and was greeted by a warm wind and green grass… Wait. What? I climbed out of the hole, and saw no snow or ice. It looked like it was a spring. I looked around and spotted Naruto a little ways below me, he was lying on the grass with Koyuki sitting next to him. What happened while I was gone? Or am I dead? Yeah, that's gotta be it. I died and went to a spring filled heaven.
"Rin?!"
I turned around and saw Kakashi along with Sakura and Sasuke, who looked shocked beyond belief.
"Oh. Hey guys." I greeted.
Sasuke walked towards me and hit me on the head. Hard, I might add.
"Owwww! What was that for?" I shouted rubbing the double ice cream scoop on my head. Guess I'm not dead.
"What do you think?! You disappeared! We couldn't find you anywhere! You crawl out from the ground after all that, and say 'hey?'" he questioned irritated.
The shouting got Naruto's attention, "Rin?! Are you okay?! Where have you been?!"
"Ah. I got put somewhere else. I escaped fine though." I waved my hand dismissively.
Kakashi peered down the hole I emerged from, "What is this exactly?"
"It's an escape route I made a while back. Orochimaru did some experiments here. I dug this about a year ago. I couldn't believe it was still here." I laughed, "So. What did I miss exactly?" gesturing to the spring in the middle of the Land of Snow.
"That's a long story." Naruto mumbled, "but basically the bad guys are gone, and Koyuki is the princess again! Oh, I got that stupid contraption off my stomach."
"Wow I'm impressed, Naruto. Good job." I praised giving him a high five.
"You can fill me out on the rest as we get you checked out at the hospital."
After everything settle down we headed back to the leaf village. The boat ride was a long one, but it gave me more than enough time to tell my team about Arisa. After my mini meltdown during the mission, Kakashi and Sasuke were curious for answers. I told them about Arisa, and the looks of pity I got drove me nuts. But Sasuke took it better than I expected….
"You mean you really did come to the village to kill me?!" he shouted.
See what I mean? Didn't overreact at all.
"Yeah, pretty much." I shrugged.
"You could've killed me!"
"But I didn't!" I pointed out happily.
Sakura sighed, "You guys sure fight like siblings."
"Shut up!" We shouted together.
Kakashi clapped his hands to get our attentions, "okay, okay that's enough you two. How come the Land of Snow wasn't in your file? It's obviously an important part of you're past."
I shrugged, "I told her about getting the curse mark, but I didn't know I was in the land of snow. As for the Arisa thing…well that's just private."
Kakashi sighed, "While that is understandable, you should tell lady Tsunade."
"Aww why?"
"Well seeing as how it has caused you some…. Physiological stress, I think it's best you saw a doctor."
"Fine~" I relented.
"Good." Kakashi praised, "Now that that's over. We should all get some sleep, we'll arrive by morning."
I crossed my arms nervously, "Actually, there's something else I wanted to tell you."
They all looked at me, "There's more?"
"Um sorta. When Nadare came to talk to me he told me he had contacted Orochimaru." I paused.
"He had contact with Orochimaru?" Kakashi asked.
"Yeah, I think he sent a hawk; but anyway, they were suppost to give me back to Orochimaru at the hideout I had escaped from after they dealt with Koyuki."
"Okay. What does that have to do with anything?" Kakashi questioned becoming concerned.
"I want to go to the hideout."
"What?!" They all shouted.
I held up my hands defensively, "Think about it. He thinks they have me, meaning he'll be at the hideout. The Orochimaru, who's been untraceable by the leaf village, is going to be somewhere I know. This is my chance!"
"Chance for what?" Kakashi asked seriously.
A chance to kill him before my life force is gone, I thought, but of coarse I wasn't going to say that aloud.
"A chance to… catch him?" I improvised.
Kakashi raised an eyebrow, clearly not believing in my reason, "Why does it have to be you?"
"I'm the only one who knows where it is."
"We could just send an ANBU team if you tell them where it is on a map."
"But that doesn't guarantee they'll be able to find it." I said.
"That doesn't mean you have to go." He countered. The others shrank back a bit, feeling uneasy.
"I have to go." I said irritated.
"Why?" he demanded.
"Because the ANBU won't be able to capture him. It's not that easy!"
"Oh so the ANBU can't do it, but you'll be able to?"
"Yes! No! I mean… ugh. It's hard to explain. You guys wouldn't understand!"
"Were trying to understand. Just talk to us!"
"I've already told you everything!"
"Not all of it! You're hiding something!"
"Everyone has things they need to hide!"
"So you are hiding something!"
"This doesn't even have anything to do with you!" I shouted getting frustrated. "Why are you so concerned?!"
"Because you're my student!"
That caught me off guard. Kakashi must've noticed it too, and his expression softened, "I won't let my student put herself in that much danger."
I sighed, he really wasn't making this easy, "I'm not as weak as you think I am."
"Neither are we." He said gently. "Just leave it to Konoha, please. Why is this so important to you?"
"He's the one who took my life from me." The statement couldn't be more close to the truth, but I knew they wouldn't get it.
"You already have a new life, Rin. Look at Konoha. You have friends, you have a family."
My heart clenched painfully, but I feigned indifference, "It doesn't matter."
They all looked at me shocked, then, Sasuke stepped forward, "What do you mean it 'doesn't matter'?" he asked, his voice laced with hurt.
I looked down at the ground "Exactly that." It would be better if they hate me. Then they might actually let me go. This was the right choice….right?
Sasuke was about to shout something else, but Naruto put a hand on Sasuke's shoulder, "Woah. Woah. Woah. This is all out of control. Rin, just forget about Orochimaru, would you? You're making it sound like you don't plan on coming back." He said laughing lightly. He waited for me to deny it, but my silence made him concerned. "You do plan on coming back, right?"
I looked off to the side, "I told you, he's not that easy to beat."
"You mean you planned to throw you're life away from the beginning?!" Sasuke shouted.
"I'm not throwing it away!"
"How is that not throwing your life away?! You sound like you're abandoning us! How can you just turn your back like that?!"
My gazed turned cold on him, "You didn't seem to have a problem doing it."
He flinched, "That was 9 years ago. I thought we were passed that.'
"It's kinda hard to forgive someone who abandons you, and leaves you for dead."
We were both getting angry now.
"I apologized!"
"An apology doesn't fix everything, you know!"
"What do you want me to do?!"
"I wanted you to help me!"
"I had no idea Father had put you through all that! How was I—"
"Bullshit!" I spat, "You knew exactly what was happening in that house the whole time! You chose not to believe it!"
"That's not true! I—"
"You chose not to do anything. You wanted to keep that image of the perfect father!"
"Rin! Listen to me! It wasn't—"
"You wanted Dad to like you, so you turned your back on me! Now, you just feel guilty because you know what I'm saying is the truth. All you cared about was impressing Father, but guess what, Sasuke? He's dead. That perfect father you looked up to so much was nothing more than a liar and a monster! You didn't care about me! You never did, and you know it!"
Slap!
3rd POV
Everyone stood there shocked, wide-eyed at what had just played before them. Sasuke, who still had his hand raised, stared at Rin, who was on the floor, her cheek slowly turning red.
"R-Rin. I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean—" he reached down to help Rin up, only for her to slap his hand away.
"Don't touch me." She muttered.
"Rin, I'm really sorry. I wasn't—"
"Shut up! Stop apologizing already!" she lifted her head to glare at Sasuke and everyone could see tears threatening to fall from her eyes. Sasuke froze as his heart clenched painfully. "You keep saying sorry, but that doesn't do anything!" her voice broke a little at the end.
"I'm sorry! I just lost it..and…I-I didn't mean to hit you."
"You know what?" Rin asked dangerously, "Now I know why you defended Fugaku so much. It's cause you're just like him."
"That's not true! And you know it!"
"I don't know you, Sasuke." She said while picking herself off the floor. "Forget it." She began to walk towards the door.
"Rin." Kakashi grabbed her hand, "Please, give up on Orochimaru. You have a home now. You can—"
"A home?" Rin scoffed, quickly wiping the tears from her eyes, "So far everyone in my so-called home has lied to me! The genin's had a secret mission to dig up dirt on me, ANBU have been watching my every move, and my sensei's been keeping tabs on my life! I'm seen as suspicious, and under surveillance everywhere I go! How is this any different from Orochimaru?!"
"We care about you, Rin. Please, believe us." Kakashi pleaded.
"I don't what to believe anymore." Rin said, shoving Kakashi's hand from her own. "Only that I can't count on you!" Rin left, slamming the door.
Everyone stood in silence, the sound of the door still fresh in their ears.
"I've never seen her cry before." Sakura said shocked.
Sasuke clenched his fist, his eyes shielded by his bangs. Kakashi sighed and rubbed his eyes with his hand in a frustrated matter. Naruto stood, gaping at the door, still not completely comprehending what had just happened. When his brain finally processed everything, he turned on Sasuke.
"What the hell, Sasuke?! What did you do that for?!"
Sasuke immediately got defensive, "I didn't mean to hit her!"
"Then why did you?! You let her get under your skin and now look what happened!"
"Enough!" Sakura interjected getting between the two before another fight broke out. "Sasuke why don't you just go and apologize to Rin? Go talk to her."
"It's no use" he sighed, "You saw what happened, she won't listen to me."
"Well you've got to do something!" Naruto shouted.
Sasuke glared at Naruto, "What am I suppost to do? Go knock on her door while she ignores me? Yeah right, I'll wait till she cools down." He said as he walked out of the room.
"Sasuke, don't-" Kakashi tried to stop him in the hallway.
"Leave us alone. This is none of your business." He said, disappearing around the corner.
Kakashi sighed, these two Uchiha's were giving him more trouble than they're worth. He glanced in the direction Sasuke left then in Rin's. Pulling a hand through his hair he decided to talk to Rin first.
