"What magical wind blow you here?" said Honey as she poured Severus some tea.

They were sitting out in Honey's garden in a bright and sunny day. The witch's home was not as large as Hogwarts but grand and luxurious nonetheless. A true testament to her family's wealth. No doubt one of the reasons why Voldemort was infatuated with her.

Severus thanked Honey for the tea but didn't drink it. "That favor you want from me, what is it?"

"What brought about this eagerness? The wards you are assigned to look after? Or your flowers?" Honey said with amusement.

Severus caught her reference to Violet and Lily. He ignored it and continue to wait for her to get to the point.

"Why so serious?" she tease him.

"I owe you a debt. I want to pay it as soon as possible. There are other pressing matters in need of my attention." said Severus.

A strange expression crossed Honey's face. One that aroused Severus' suspicion.

"I know how in demand you are. You may go. Complete your other business first. Mine will be your last." she said ominously.

Severus' focus returned to the present as students filed inside of his classroom. The memory of the visit he made to the Honey's home lingered in the back of his mind. What she had said to him was disturbing along with her odd mannerism but he could not dwell on it. He had other individuals that need his attention: Voldemort, Draco, Dumbledore, Harry, and the students he was going to have to teach. This was going to be stressful.

Severus responded to Voldemort's summons and bowed to him.

"Severus," said Voldemort, "I have came across some interesting information. You see, Harry Potter is not James and Lily's only child."

Severus' body went ridge at what he was telling him. It couldn't be true.

"They had a daughter." Voldemort showed him the same photograph Honey had showed him before. "Apparently, the Potters sent her away when she was an infant. They only kept the boy. Dumbledore has been hiding her existence from everyone for years. Search for this girl."

After being dismissed by Voldemort, Severus immediately went to speak with Dumbledore. Inside of Dumbledore's office Severus was panting in rage.

"You knew!" Severus accused the headmaster. He was shaking with emotion. "How could you kept something like this from me?"

Dumbledore looked at him in confusion. "What is the meaning of this?"

The headmaster's dumbfounded expression made him snap. "Violet is Lily and James' daughter!"

"No, Harry is their only son."

"They had another child. Voldemort said -"

Dumbledore shook his head. "Voldemort is lying. Lily and James only had one child. Harry. Severus you can't believe him. Violet is not Lily's daughter but someone else. She has no relations to Lily. If you don't believe me look at this." he pulled out a file from his desk and handed it to Severus.

Severus took the file and opened it. Inside was a picture of Violet and information about her.

"Her name is Carina Allen. She's a half-blood from the States." said Dumbledore. "She visits England every few months."

As he listened, Severus realized that he had seen Violet before, in Diagon Alley. He thought he had imagined it. He thought he had saw Lily.

"Carina's resemblance to Lily placed her in danger. I have reason to believe Tom is planning on using Carina against you."

"I've heard enough." said Severus. "I need to be alone."

Dumbledore honored his request and stop speaking. Severus excused himself and returned to this room, taking the file with him. Inside of his room, he placed the file on the table and sat on his bed. He honestly did not know who to believe. He needed to see Violet. He must see her now!

Despite the fact that he was strongly against it, Dumbledore had allowed Severus to see Violet. He revealed to Severus that she was living in a flat with a house elf to keep her company. When Severus saw her smile it brightened his mood as usual. She was happy to see him too. She still could not recall any memories of the time before she met him. He assumed they would return to her over time. He would visit her. Not as often as he would have liked but he saw her as much as possible.

"Lily?" said Severus. They were sitting in the small kitchenette, having lunch and she was playing with her food.

She didn't answer him. She had a blank expression on her face and was staring into space.

"Violet?"

She remained the same.

"Carina?" said Severus.

Upon hearing her real name, she blinked and turned her head to look at him.

He had been experimenting with calling her different name for some time now. He realized the truth. She was not Lily. She was not Violet. She was Carina Allen.

"Are you happy here?" he asked her delicately.

She stared back at him but gave no reply. Due to her displaying this type of behavior he suspected that she may have been bewitched. He had performed spells on her to see if it was true but found nothing.

"Carina?" he said.

Her eyes light up in acknowledgement of her name.

"Do you remember your parents?" he asked her.

"Parents?" she said and tilted her head.

"Do you remember them?"

She closed her eyes.

"It's all right." he told her.

She opened her eyes and stared at him like a lost animal. Something was not right with Carina and he had to find out what it was. He planned to have a talk with Honey about this. Maybe she knew something.

"I am surprised a man of your intelligence would take this long to notice." said Honey.

"What is wrong with Carina?" he demanded.

Honey's gaze went over him, appraising him. "Carina Allen is not Lily's daughter. But I must say the resemblance is uncanny. We all have one of those, you know. Someone who resembles us. Whether it is a distant relative, a complete stranger, or a fragmented soul."

Although Dumbledore and now Honey had verified that Carina was not related to Lily, Severus remained skeptical. He was going to wait and see the truth unfold.

"What's wrong with Carina?" he repeated.

Honey pointed at her head with her index finger. "She has an illness of the mind. An unwanted substance that needs to be removed. If you do not believe me take her to the healer. The one she was scheduled to see." She placed a small parchment on the table.

Severus hesitated for a moment before picking it up and reading the information. He fisted the parchment in his hand, refusing to believe it.

"She needs medical attention."

As Honey said these words Severus thought back to all of his interactions with Carina. The sighs and symptoms were there but he had ignored them. He was too engrossed in the memory of Lily that he ignored Carina. He had wronged her. Honey was right Carina needed medical attention. She needed it as soon as possible.
