Hello, faithful readers! I'm back with Chapter 18! But first, the winners from last chapter! So, without further ado! Chapter 18!-Alyssa
After about an hour, everyone who'd gone over to Butchy and Lela's house, went over to Big Momma's. All the others were there already. Giggles was the first to notice their clouded expressions. Mainly that of the usually happy-go-lucky Tanner.
"Alright, what's wrong?"
"It's Tessa. She's missing. We think Jeff took her." Struts said.
"Wait, Jeff as in Jeff Manning, Jeff?" KiKi asked, walking up to the group.
Suddenly, all the surfers began joining the group.
"The one and only." Lugnut confirmed.
"Why would he do something like that?!" Rascal inquired.
"That's the one thing we don't know. I wish we knew though." Butchy said putting a hand on Lela's shoulder.
"Hold on, you weren't impressed by her yesterday. Why all the sudden are you concerned about her?" SeaCat asked.
"Cause she's our friend, that's why!" Lela said.
"Makes sense to me. I mean, Tessa is a great girl." Myranda stated, walking up to them.
"What's going on, guys?" Coral asked, drying her hands on a towel as she exited the kitchen.
"Tessa is missing and we're blaming Jeff Manning." CheeChee said.
Slowly, all the other bikers and surfers got into the conversation.
"Uh, guys. There's something that I've been meaning to tell you." Giggles said.
"What's the problem, Giggles?" Rascal asked.
"Lydia, too, is missing. She's been missing since the storm. I figured that she was just busy at home or something, but I went to her house this morning, and she wasn't there."
"Giggles, I'm sure she's fine. She probably just went to her special thinking spot. You know that she does that every once in a while and disappears for days on end." Tanner said.
"But Tanner, this is different. She didn't take any of her stuff this time!"
"Maybe she's living off the land." Rascal said.
"Living off the land? Living off the LAND?!" Giggles screeched, "Lydia does NOT live off the land! That girl is terrified of snakes, HATES cliffs, and more importantly, she's ALLERGIC to bees!"
By this point, the soft-spoken, kind-hearted, laughing Giggles they once knew, had become a screaming, shouting, mean Giggles!
"Uhhh, Giggles, you really should calm down. Your face is flushed." Tanner said, not wanting to evoke her wrath.
"Calm down? Calm down?! You want me to calm down when one of my best friends is MISSING!?"
"I didn't know Giggles had a temper like that." Mack whispered to Brady. "Neither did I." Brady answered.
After a couple minutes of persuading, Giggles finally calmed down. She was still a little frantic, but she had calmed down.
"We came here to tell everyone about Tessa, and THAT happens? Can this day get any worse?" Butchy complained
"Coral, sweetie, there's someone at the back door for ya." Big Momma said.
"What time is it?"
"8:59. Why?"
"He's here!" Coral gasped, running toward the kitchen.
"Who? Who's here?" Mackenzie asked.
"Uh, no one." Coral said, before running into the kitchen.
"That was…odd." KiKi said.
Meanwhile in the kitchen, Coral was opening the back door.
"Bolt! You made it!"
"Of course! I had to see you again! I don't have long though. Speed will be here any minute."
"Well, at least you're here."
Meanwhile
"Butchy, what's we gonna do? We's got no idea who actually took Tessa and where she's at! We's could spend weeks looking for her, and she'd end up being right under our noses. How's we gonna find her, eh?" A dark haired biker asked.
"Hunter! Stop! I don't want to hear it right now! I's got enough things to worry about right now, and I don't need YOU adding to that! I's trying to figure it out, ok!" Butchy snapped.
"Ok, ok! No need to get angry at me!"
"Why are you acting so worried about Tessa, anyway? It's not like she's your girlfriend or anything!" Another biker commented.
"Because, she IS my girlfriend!" Butchy snapped, giving a death glare.
So, I know I had a tiny bit of an interesting beginning, but I can explain that. Schoolwork is kinda making me go nuts right now! I switched Science teachers, and I absolutely can't stand my new teacher! So, I'm a little bit on the weird side today. I apologize for that! Anyway, I hope you liked the chapter, and I know the last chapter had an unexpected twist to it, but, you'll find out what happens over the next few chapters! Here's your question for this chapter.
