Hey, everyone! It's time for Chapter 24. But first, winners and the answer from last chapter!

My birthday is the day right after Ross! I found out just this past year, and I was surprised! Well, I'm sure you're all itching to find out what happens on Butchy and Tessa's date, so I won't keep you any longer. Here's Chapter 24!-Alyssa

At 7:00, Butchy arrived at the house, ready for his date with Tessa. He was only waiting a couple of minutes when Tessa came down the stairs.
"Wow. Tessa, you's look beautiful!"
"Thanks. You's look quite handsome, yourself."
"So, you's ready to go?"
"Of course, I's ready! See you later, girls!"
"Have fun!" Mack called.
Butchy opened the door for Tessa, and the two walked out and began walking down the beach.
"So, where are we going?"
"You'll see. I's got a felling that you's gonna like it."
After walking down the beach a ways, even past Big Momma's, they made it to a patch of trees.
"Um, it's a bunch of trees."
"Follow me." Butchy said, pulling back a bunch of vines.
Tessa looked at him, before looking down the deep, dark path that lay behind the vines.
"It's dark."
"I know. That's why we have this." Butchy said grabbing a torch and lighting it.
Suddenly, part of the path was lit up.
"Whoa."
"You ain't seen nothin yet."
As they walked father down the path, Tessa began to see light, and a clearing. As they got to the clearing, Tessa could clearly see what was there. In the center, was a treehouse. A very nice treehouse at that! Leigh's under the treehouse was a table with two small candles on it.
"Butchy, it's beautiful!"
"I thought you's would like it. I used to come here all the time with Tanner, Lugnut, and Bolt. At least, until Speed and Bolt left. I've kept it in tact all these year. We always called it "The Raven's Nest". Because every year, a female Raven would build her nest right above the treehouse. Her young continue to use the tree and surrounding trees as their nesting sights."
"Wow. That's really cool! That had to be an amazing experience."
"It was. This grove has been in my family for 5 generations. Of course, Tanner, Lugnut, Bolt, and I built the treehouse, but the grove itself has been here for 5 generations."
"Wow! So this place brings back a lot of memories, huh?"
"Yeah. It does." Butchy said, looking around.
After looking around, Tessa noticed a cave.
"What's that?" Tessa asked.
"Oh, that leads to a small cove. It's the perfect place to watch the sunrise. Not so much the sunset, though. Cause it faces to the east."
"Wow! Does you think we's could come watch it some morning?"
"Sure! You's hungry?"
"Oh, yes! I's starvin'! I usually eat around 6:00!"
"Alright. Come on."
The two walked over to the table, and Butchy pulled out a chair for Tessa, who sat down. Once Tessa was seated, Butchy walked around and also sat down.
Half-an-hour later
"Oh, thank you for dinner! It was absolutely amazing!" Tessa said, gazing out over the ocean water.
After eating, the two had gone to the cove to relax for a bit.
"You's welcome." Butchy said, smiling.
"The moon sure is beautiful tonight." Tessa said, resting her head on Butchy's shoulder.
"Yes, it is. But it's no where near how beautiful you are."
"Aww! That's so sweet! Thank you!"
"You're welcome!" Butchy replied, kissing Tessa.
After they separated, Tessa stretched and yawned a bit.
"You getting tired?"
"A little. But we can stay a bit longer."
"Alright. If you wanna head back to the house, let me know."
After a couple minutes, Tessa ended up asleep, with her head laying on Butchy's lap. Butchy silently took off his jacket and gently laid it over Tessa, before he too succumbed to the lure of sleep.
