All of the Adders clapped, but pretty much all the Rodents were scowling.
"Well, Jennifer, you're a wonderful singer. I love your voice, I really do! You did everything just right! However, there is one little thing. You always sing that song. You never variate what song you sing. That is the only song that I have ever heard you sing. Therefore, I'll have to give you an 8.5 out of 10."
"Wait, so, what does that mean?" Jennifer asked.
"It means, that you lost."
"WHAT?! I was supposed to win! You were supposed to pick me!"
"If these girls hadn't been as good as they are, I would have picked you. But these girls are a lot better. This is what you get for choosing an impartial judge." Luke said, walking away.
"Humph!" Jennifer huffed, scowling.
"Our next competition will be tomorrow morning. Same time. Don't be late." Speed said.
"I won't, don't worry." Butchy said.
After the Adders were out of earshot, the four girls began squealing like crazy.
"I can't believe it! We actually, really, truly won!" Nicole exclaimed.
"I know! I'm just glad he liked us! That means Rodents-1, Adders-0!" Myranda commented.
"We're one point closer to winning!" Kaylee said.
"Don't get too excited yet, girls. There's still at least two more competitions that we have to get through." Butchy said, watching out the window.
"But we can get through it, together!" Tessa said, placing a hand on Butchy's shoulder.
"You're right. We can do this."
