Hello, everyone! Sorry for not updating earlier. I had to go to my grandparents' house for about 3 weeks, cause my grandpa had to have surgery to take out a mass that was around part of his small intestine. Luckily, it was not cancer! ^.^ So, now, hopefully I can update on my schedule! So, I hope you enjoy this chapter! :)~Alyssa
Everyone was talking to their new found friends, when they heard arguing outside. Everyone was suddenly alert. Tessa looked around to see who wasn't there, and turned immediately to Butchy.
"Hey, I don't see Lugnut."
"Neither do I! Come on!" Butchy said, jumping up from the table they were sitting at.
Butchy and Tessa ran outside, as did the Surfers and the rest of the Rodents. Moments, later, the Adders emerged from Big Momma's as well. Everyone was surprised by what they saw.
"Butchy, isn't that Jeff?" Lela asked, pointing at the biker that was standing opposite of Lugnut.
"Yeah. But what's he doing?"
Tessa looked long and hard at Jeff, feeling like she should know who he was. That was when she remembered.
Flashback
Mack and Lela left for the beach and Tessa went back to sleep, then someone walked in the room. Of course, you couldn't tell who he was in the dark, but it was obvious that there was something he wanted.
"That was just too easy." He said, standing over Tessa.
Suddenly, Tessa awoke to find her hands tied behind her back, and her feet bound, with a gag in her mouth. She squirmed trying to figure out what was going on.
"Stop you's squirming! You's just gonna make it worse!" The young man carrying her, hissed.
After a long time of being carried, he finally sat her down, and she was able to get a better look at him, due to the better lighting within the building. She didn't get to look for long, as he walked around a corner.
"I got her, sir."
"Well done, Jeffery. Here's the money I promised you."
She knew that voice. She knew it all too well. She hoped it was only a dream, until he came back, with the one person she'd hoped not to see. Speed. It was only a bad dream! Wasn't it? She'd wake up soon enough! After all, she had gone to sleep, before being lugged off by the creep! Certainly this was just a dream! Nothing would happen! Right? Wrong. Speed got up close to Tessa's face, and released the gag.
"What do you want with me, Speed?!" Tessa asked, immediately after she was able to talk.
"You's getting in my way of taking over the Rodents, and subduing my younger brother, once and for all! There's only one way for me to deal with you. And that is to eliminate you and whoever else dares to stand in my way! I eliminate you, and Butchy will crumble. He's very fond of you."
"You were spying on us?!"
"Well of course! What else does you expect me to do? Be nice and give you privacy?! Ain't gonna happen, Theresa!"
"Hey! No one calls me that!"
"And why not?"
"It's too...elegant! I's not elegant! I mean, come on! I's a biker! There's nothing elegant about being a biker!"
"Well, I can't argue with that."
"Just let me go!"
"Sorry. No can do! Girls! Help Miss Tessa get some proper clothing on! And make it snappy!"
"Yes, sir!" Two girls said, leading Tessa into their bedroom.
The girls talked and chatted. Tessa learned that their names were Tanya and Ivy. Both of them wanted desperately to leave the Adders. But they didn't have the heart too. Yet. Once Tessa was dressed, they went back out to the main area, and two rough looking guys grabbed Tessa's shoulders and led her up a flight of stairs. Upon reaching the top, she saw something she never thought she'd see.
"Les Camambert's Weather Altering Machine!" Tessa whispered, so quietly that only she knew that she had spoken.
That's when Tessa realized, "This isn't a bad dream. This isn't a dream at all. This is for real."
Minutes later, Tessa was tied to the remainders of the machine. Speed was now there, a needle in hand. He walked over to her, and she tried to back away, unsure of what the liquid was.
"Don't worry, it's only a sedative." Ivy said from the back of the room, smiling reassuringly at her.
"Have a nice nap, Tessa." Speed whispered in Tessa's ear.
Then, he injected the liquid into Tessa's bloodstream, and she immediately felt herself getting drowsy. No! She had to fight it! She had to stay awake! But it was no use, less than a minute later, Tessa was unconscious.
End Flashback
"You!" Tessa screeched.
"Me? What about me?" Jeff asked, surprised at Tessa's suddenly accusing tone.
"You's the one who kidnapped me and took me to that dump of a lighthouse!"
"No. I can assure you, it wasn't me!"
"It was too! I remember it all now! Clearly. Plain as day. You's the one who kidnapped me! I know your voice, and I know your face. Jeffery."
Jeff froze, knowing he had been caught red-handed.
"There's no escaping from it now, Jeff." Tessa said.
"Ok! Ok! I'll admit it! I's been working with Speed."
Everyone gasped, surprised that their suspicions were correct. There were a select few though who just glared long and hard at him. Including Butchy and Tessa. After a couple minutes, everyone began mumbling and filing back into Big Momma's eventually leaving Speed and Jeff alone.
"Next time I tell you too keep hidden, keep hidden." Speed hissed.
"Yes, sir."
Dun dun dun! They found out about Jeff becoming an Adder! O_O What's gonna happen now? I guess we'll find out in the next few chapters!
