Hello again! This time we're doing Swarming Attack. It's not really an episode I go back to. It's not a bad episode, just not very memorable.
I think it came too quickly after Plagued. The plot and Lyoko bits aren't bad, it's just a little dull compared to some of XANA's other offenses, that's all. Though admittedly, in real life I would be absolutely terrified of this attack, so of course I incorporated my fear into this chapter the best I could.
Chapter 15: Swarming Attack
It was another day at Kadic. The morning was slowly turning into noon as I was approaching Yumi, Odd, and Jeremy, who were standing under the arches. I let out a small hum to myself as I noticed Ulrich wasn't present.
"Hi guys." I said, offering a small wave as I stopped next to Yumi.
"Hey, Emily." They greeted back, right before Jeremy let out a large yawn. Letting out a small laugh, I looked over Jeremy up and down, a smirk plain on my face.
"Well, someone looks tired. What did you do last night?" I couldn't help but ask.
"I worked on a little program: an advanced research engine of sorts." Yumi, Odd and I each looked at one another, then back at our genius friend. He couldn't help but smile a little. "It's a browser which I'm trying to make to help Aelita look for more info on materialization in the Lyoko towers." He explained. Odd let out a grin as he looked up, almost like he was daydreaming.
"Just imagine all the things she's gonna learn when she gets here." He remarked. "She's gonna be amazed."
"I think about it all the time. I can't wait for that day to come" Jeremy admitted, a light blish creeping up on his cheeks, making the rest of us smile. "Yeah... It's gonna be great." A few seconds later, we heard footsteps approaching us. I turned my head to find that Ulrich had finally decided to join us right as the bell rang.
"Hi, Ulrich." Yumi greeted him. Hearing her made him stare slightly down at the ground, his hands shoved deep into his pockets.
"Hello." He replied back, shuffling on one foot to the other while looking at the Japanese girl out of the corner of his eye. No one else seemed to notice his behavior, but it caused me to tilt my head a little.
"What's up with him?"
"Ok guys, it's time for us to work up a sweat." Odd announced, making me frown slightly.
"Great, and we're playing soccer. My favorite." I said sarcastically, earning a slight laugh out of Odd. Sports were never my thing. I played basketball for a few years in elementary school, but nothing more then that. Jeremy, Odd and I began walking forward, when we noticed that Ulrich wasn't with us. He was talking to Yumi about something, but seemed very... unsure of himself. He started walking towards us again, but threw one last glance at her as she walked towards her first class.
Gym
"Emily! You're supposed to kick the ball! Not run away from it!" Odd shouted at me. I gave him a very annoyed look, allowing my head to emerge from the guards my arms had made for it.
"Forgive me if the first instinct I have with a ball flying at my face isn't to try and make a goal." I replied, giving him the best death glare I could make. He had sent the ball flying towards my face, of course I had ducked! In fact, the force of the ball had sent Jeremy to the ground when it hit him(the poor guy was playing goalie). "I at least have better aim then you do! You've nearly hit me three times now!" I let out a laugh.
"What!? You do NOT have better aim than I do!" Odd exclaimed, seemingly offended at my accusation. "And I can prove it too! Watch this!" Odd stopped the ball as it was rolled back to him by Einstein. He took a few steps back before sending his right leg forward, sending the ball high into the air. Unfortunately, he also sent the ball way left of the goal, meaning it was going to hit the poor soul lying next to the goal...
Who just happened to be Ulrich. I watched the ball as it made it's descent from the air towards the brunette, inwardly cringing about what was about to occur.
"Ulrich, watch out!" Odd shouted. Whatever daydream Ulrich was seemingly having disappeared as he was brought back into reality by the soccer ball hitting his head. It knocked him out, which of course caught Jim's attention. He woke up a few seconds later after Jeremy, Jim, Odd, and I had all crowded around him. I leaned over to Odd and whispered,
"You shoot arrows on Lyoko that require accuracy, how could you miss that badly?"
"Shut up. Those are with my hands, not my feet." He said slightly dejectedly.
"Ulrich, are you ok?" Jeremy asked. Ulrich blinked a few times before sitting up, putting a hand to where the ball had collided with his head.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine." He answered. Jim took a look at him and shook his head.
"I think that's enough for today." He decided, and then called everyone to go back to the locker rooms. Odd extended his hand to Ulrich, who took it along with his assistance back to the boys locker room
So, I went back with all the other girls in the class to change back and collect my things. As I was zipping up my usual gray jacket on, I noticed Sissi was humming to herself. Now, normally, that would be an odd thing to notice, but Sissi usually never hummed to herself. Eventually, she noticed my staring at her and shot me a glare.
"I know you must be jealous of my looks, Ms. Nerd, but take a picture, it'll last longer." She then proceeded to walked past me, purposely bumping into me. I folded my as and looked down, wondering just what she was thinking about. That didn't last long, however, as both the bell and my stomach reminded me of lunch.
Walking out of the gym and over to the cafeteria, I soon found Jeremy and Odd sitting at our usual table. They seemed to be looking around the lunchroom for whatever reason, and then pointing at people.
"Milly or Tamiya?" Odd asked as I sat down. Jeremy shook his head.
"No, they're too young." Hearing that made me incredibly confused.
"Um, what?"
"Claire?" Odd then asked, seeming to have not heard me. "Sandra?"
"No no, much to young!" Jeremy said, shaking his head once more. "And they're so... y'know they're... too uptight." I decided to try again.
"Seriously, what?" Odd then looked around again, and seemed to be looking at me.
"Emilee! He exclaimed. "Yeah, yeah! It's gotta be her!" Jeremy gave him a look that basically said "are you sure?" "Look, I'm an expert with girls! She's pretty, she's the outdoors type, she's the one who flipped for him!" At this point I was totally lost.
"Wait, what's this about me?" When they didn't look at me again, I had had enough. Letting out an annoyed huff, I let both of my legs connect with their shins.
"HEY!" Odd exclaimed, pulling the leg I had hit back before I could cause further damage. Needless to say, that got their attention. "Oh, hi Emily."
"Ok, now that I'm noticed, what's this about me?"
"Oh no, not you! The OTHER Emilee." Jeremy clarified. "And was it necessary to kick me too?"
"I must treat all Lyoko Warriors equal. That includes the techie of our ragtag bunch."
"What's this about Emilee flipping for someone?" Yumi then asked, catching us all by surprise. I turned around and found her standing behind me with her lunch tray. The two boys looked at one another before answering.
"It's Jim!" Odd quickly answered, making me nearly choke on the food I was eating from laughter. "Emilee is crazy about Jim." I could tell Jeremy was trying not to laugh too.
"Jim, you're kidding! Well, I guess they say that love is blind." Yumi said, completely oblivious to the fact that our gym teacher was approaching her from the behind. When Odd and began snickering, she turned and gasped. "Oh, I um... Sorry." She apologized. Our PE teacher gave her a strange look before walking off, making her give us a sheepish laugh as she sat down.
Woods
Ulrich had not been in the mood to eat. He had too much on his mind at the moment. He decided it would be best for him to go to the woods in order to mull things over, even bringing Kiwi along at his roommates request.
That morning, he had received a letter underneath his door. He looked it over many times, almost as if he was unable to comprehend or read the words written, what was spelled out was exactly what was meant. Ulrich had received a letter with Yumi saying that she loved him.
But, was it true? A part of him believed that this all some kind of crazy dream that he was bound to wake up from soon. He had even pinched himself several times throughout the day to make sure this was real, but there was no way it couldn't have been real. After all, what would anyone gain from faking something like that?
Ulrich let out a sigh as he then wondered how to confront Yumi about, tell her that he felt the same way. He shook his head, deciding that he's cross that bridge when he got there, and folded the letter before placing it back into his pocket.
His thoughts were interrupted completely, however, when Kiwi limped up to him, whimpering heavily. "Kiwi?" He asked, worried as he watched his friends peg collapse before him. Inspecting the mutts back, he saw several pink marking on his back. "Who did that to you?" He asked, being careful not to brush his hand over the wound. He looked up as he suddenly heard a loud buzzing noise and gasped. A large cloud of hornets was flying straight at them! Feeling the adrenaline kick in, both he and Kiwi stood up and began running as fast as they could, and didn't stop until they reached the cafeteria. "Kiwi..." Ulrich said, watching as the dog, exhausted from being stung and running, collapsed onto the pavement.
Ulrich and Odd's Dorm
"He doesn't look well at all, does he?" Odd said, lightly patting his 'digity dog'. "Do you think it's serious?" Odd's tone was one of genuine concern, not that it surprised me. I'd be worried too if my dog was attacked by insects.
"Don't worry Odd, he'll be back on his feet in no time." Jeremy assured him. "Well, I guess I should say paws."
"Yeah, I'm sure he'll be fine. I'd just imagine being stung by any kind of bug isn't pleasant." I said, letting out a small shutter. Then, there was a knock on the door. Jeremy got up and opened it, revealing Yumi standing behind it.
"I brought some pills and anti venom compresses." She said, lifting up a small, white paper bag. Jeremy smiled gratefully at her as he took the bag.
"Thanks, Yumi. Come in." He moved out of her way so she could enter, then closed the door. Jeremy then handed the bag off to Odd, who began applying the medicine to the affected areas.
"This should help you feel better." Odd told him as his dog lifted it's head. I smiled at Kiwi and patted his head.
"Um, Yumi? I wanted to tell you something." Ulrich said, pulling Yumi closer towards him.
"I did too. They say Emilee's in love with Jim!" Yumi replied, a grin on her face.
"With Jim!?"
"Odd told me all about it! Weird, huh?" Ulrich shot Odd a look, to which Odd could only give him a sheepish look in response. "Anyways, I've got class now, see ya." She walked out of the room.
"What's that all about, huh?" Ulrich then asked, looking at both Odd and me.
"I don't know." Odd said, his face now red. I gave Ulrich an annoyed look.
"The other Emilee, not me." I explained.
"Riiight. Well, I should go." He said, not sounding too convinced about what I had told him.
"Go and do what?" Jeremy asked.
"Those bugs could become a problem if there's a ton of them. Best if they get taken care of as soon as possible." I said as the brunette walked out.
Later
Ulrich, Jeremy, Odd, and I were sitting outside the cafeteria, when we heard a loud yelling. A man came running out of the woods, a swarm of what seemed to be a thick cloud of bugs. He tried spraying them with the bug spray, but they didn't seem affected at all!
I suddenly felt intense fear wash over me. The bees or hornets or whatever they were suddenly started attack the man with the spray, but some of them seemed interested in us!
"We'll try to attract their attention to us! Let's go!" Ulrich shouted, then ran to our right, making the entire swarm follow him. The rest of us went over and dragged the man into the cafeteria.
"We've gotta get him to the infirmary." Jeremy said, pointing out the obvious.
"But what about Ulrich?" Odd asked.
"He'll take care of them."
"Or he'll end up as bad as this guy. I hope he's not allergic." I said as we all did our part to reach the infirmary. After dropping him off, we met Ulrich and Yumi outside.
"Well?" Yumi asked.
"Mr. Bennett was lucky. One more bite and..." Jeremy trailed off, not finding the need to continue.
"Yeah that's right. But he's still not in great shape." Odd pointed out.
"The principal's sent for help. They're gonna get rid of the nest." I shuttered once again at the thought of what happened.
"I HATE bugs. Out of everything that could've happened, a big nest of em' had to show up!"
"I don't know what you guys think, but-"
"But you think it's XANA." Odd finished.
"Personally, I'm gonna have to agree with Jeremy here."
"Aw c'mon! Hornets nests have always been around, and accidents happen all the time!" Odd argued. "And since when do you believe Jeremy so early?"
"Since I find the behavior strange. Even if I'm terrified bugs, they've never attack without reason. Attacking us makes no sense, we didn't attack them or anger them." Ulrich nodded at me.
"She's right. These hornets were after us and nobody else."
"Well, I say that we check it out." Yumi agreed.
"I'll see if I can get into contact with Aelita." Jeremy said.
"I'm going back to class." Yumi informed us. "But keep me posted." She walked out of the hall in the infirmary, Ulrich finding himself watching her the entire time. I folded my arms and tilted my head.
"Seriously, what page am I missing in this book?" I thought, but quickly shook my head, deciding I'd figure it out later.
"Do you realize the damage these bugs can cause? There's thousands of them!" Odd realized. "If XANA is on this attack, then we've got a very serious problem." We then noticed that Sir Samurai hadn't been paying attention at all.
"Hey, Ulrich! Snap out of it!" I said, snapping my fingers in front of his face. He flinched and snapped back into reality.
"Huh? What? I mean, yeah! Right, uh, I dunno." He stuttered, making me giggle a bit.
"Wow, and I thought I had ADHD bad." I said with a grin. Odd and Jeremy also smiled at one another.
"Ulrich, you wouldn't happen to have a crush on this secret admirer of yours, would you? Huh, Ulrich?" Odd teased. Ulrich looked down before finally letting a small smile form on his lips.
"Yeah, you could be right." He admitted. Odd smiled, but it didn't last long, as he got a tap on the shoulder.
"Ahem." Odd turned... Only to find Emilee standing there. He started sweating as he realized why she had sought him out. "What's all this about me being in love with Jim!?" Ulrich, Jeremy, and I were all trying to keep ourselves from laughing. We did, however, cringe when she slapped him, as it did leave a nice red mark on his cheek. "Start that rumor again and even your own dog won't recognize you!" She stormed off as the rest of us laughed at Odd's pain, me doubling over at how funny I found it.
We all then left the infirmary hall, with Ulrich running off somewhere, and Jeremy going back to his dorm. Odd and I found ourselves in front of the cafeteria. Odd put a hand to his cheek and winced slightly.
"Ah, I may not know why you started that rumor, but boy am I happy you did!" I said, letting out a chuckle.
"Well it wasn't funny for me!" He argued. I was about to reply, when Odd's phone went off. After putting it towards his ear for a few seconds before putting it away again. "XANA's on the offense." I jumped up from the step I was on.
"In that case, let's go!" He nodded, and we ran all the way to the manhole, where Jeremy was waiting for us. We entered, and got on our modes of transportation and rode toward the factory. But, XANA had planned ahead, and covered the exit with nests for the hornets! I immediately cowered behind Odd, who seemed surprised by the action.
"Oh wow, nice going, XANA." Jeremy commented.
"Guys, any suggestions would be very welcome." Odd said, also seemingly frightened by the cloud of bugs.
"Um, get away from here as fast as we can?" Jeremy suggested. I had already turned around and had taken off.
"Hey! Don't ditch us!" Odd shouted, the two of them soon following behind me.
"Sorry, fear slightly clouds judgement." I said. We continued riding as fast as we could, but then we found ourselves trapped as more hornets flew in through. I clenched the grips on my scooter tightly. Odd looked at our genius friend nervously.
"Hey! You got any other ideas?" He asked. Jeremy quickly looked around, then looked down at the water.
"Jump!" He exclaimed, grabbing both Odd and I's arms , pulling us into the water. The erm... sewer water. Odd, being taken by surprise, went up to the surface and coughed. Jeremy then guided us into a pipe, where I then went as far in as I could.
"This is your idea!?" Odd asked, still annoyed by the lack of warning.
"Insects are very sensitive to smells." Jeremy explained.
"They're not the only ones." Odd retorted, pointing now prominent smell of the three of us.
"I don't care, as long as those hornets leave me alone, I'm ok with it." I said. The said hornets, while lingering for a few seconds, quickly flew back to their nest.
"Wow! I think it worked!" Odd commented as we exited the pipe.
"Seems like it." Jeremy agreed. Odd let out a hum of interest.
"I guess XANA can't alter the nature of what he controls if it's living, at least, not majorly." I deduced. "I guess we won't have to worry about that until later." We all went back onto the path and grabbed our scooters and skateboards and rode back to the manhole, seeing as we had no way to access the lab at the time.
So, we then found ourselves back on campus, and trudged our way to the dorm building. We found Yumi near Ulrich and Odd's door, right where we were set to meet. We needed Ulrich for this mission just as much as everyone else. She gave us a confused look as we walked up to her.
"What's that smell?"
"Ask Jeremy." Odd said, offering no explanation whatsoever. We opened the door to find the brunette sulking in front of his bed.
"We left you a message, didn't you get it?" Jeremy asked. Ulrich looked at us dejectedly. He seemed to be avoiding eye contact with Yumi.
"What do you think? I didn't feel like checking my messages." He answered honestly, then looked back at the ground. Yumi sighed and bent down in front of him.
"Look, I think we should talk."
"I know what you're gonna tell me. And I don't wanna hear it." Ulrich said as he stood up. Once again, he found himself not looking at the Japanese girl.
"Ulrich, this is all on an account of Sissi!" Yumi told him. He turned his head and sent her an annoyed look.
"Don't you think I know that?" He asked. "Because of her, I'm confused; every time I see you, I don't know what to think." He admitted. "So, just leave me alone, ok?" Yumi gasped and looked down.
"He's loosing it." Jeremy whispered to us, and then turned and put his laptop on a nearby table. He turned it on and got into contact with Aelita. "Aelita? Are you ok?"
"Yes, I found the activated tower." She reported. "But it's guarded, so I can't access it."
"Worry not, Aelita! We're on our way!" I assured her. Jeremy cut the connection, then walked out of the room after Ulrich and Yumi.
"Hey guys, hold on a minutes!" Odd stopped us. We all turned to face him in the hall. "The bugs have blocked the factory entrance. And I for one would rather stay iut of that sewer!" Jeremy smirked at him.
"Don't worry Odd, I'm way ahead of you on this one." He said, tugging slightly as his backpack strap. Odd only let out a "huh" before we continued on back to the sewer entrance. Once again, we found ourselves riding to the factory bridge. I stopped the furthest from the nest behind Ulrich and Yumi, who were still not talking to each other.
"So? What's the deal?" Odd asked. Jeremy then proceeded to pull out one of his robots, and it's control. He then turned it on, and it began beeping. Moving it forward, the hornets separated in the cloud. Odd grinned and shouted, "Bingo!" Jeremy then began babbling about insects, but I for one was not in the mood for it.
"Jeremy, the last thing we need right now is a science class. We don't want to keep your girlfriend waiting, now do we?" I asked, already stepping onto the later. Jeremy blushed, but let out an annoyed huff at the same time. One by one, we all climbed up until only Ulrich was left. Unfortunately for him, the beeping died off, confusing all of us. Ulrich looked up at Jeremy, panic written all over his face.
"Hey! Your thing stopped, how come!?" He exclaimed. Jeremy, put a finger to his chin then gave him a sheepish look.
"Battery's dead." He explained.
"What!?" Ulrich cried. We put our hands in and yelled,
"HURRY UP!" To him. We helped pull him out and closed the hatch. We then continued on, swung down, and went into the elevator. We stopped at the lab for Einstein, then went down one more level. The tensions between Ulrich and Yumi could be clearly seen on their faces, which made me and Odd look at one another with a worried glance. Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi then made there ways in front of a scanner, while I waited in front of the elevator.
"No time to lose, to the forest! Transfer, Ulrich. Transfer, Yumi. Transfer, Odd. Scanner, Odd. Scanner, Ulrich. Scanner, Yumi. VIRTUALIZATION!" I then entered a scanner myself. "Transfer, Emily. Scanner, Emily. VIRTUALIZATION!"
Lyoko
The lot of us found ourselves in the Forest Sector. "Come in Aelita. Aelita? Aelita, answer me!" Jeremy called, his tone progressively getting more worried. "Oh no, this CANNOT be happening. Do you see her?"
"Sorry, Jeremy, we don't. At least, not yet." I replied. A few seconds later, we could head the rapid flapping of wings.
"Careful, three squadrons of Hornets converging. Be ready." Jeremy warned us. Odd readied his arrows, Yumi pulled out her fans, Ulrich stood there, and I readied my staff. Odd jumped as a Hornet fired a laser. Yumi blocked another with her fans.
"Magic Blast!" I exclaimed, and did actually manage to kill one. I smirked over at Odd. "Told you I have better aim."
"Whatever. Laser Arrow!" Odd fired and missed once more as Yumi was hit in the stomach. I was also hit twice, once in my arm, the other in my leg.
"Less than 80 Life Points left Yumi. You have 60, Emily." Jeremy informed us. "Be careful Odd, 80 Life Points left." Jeremy then said as Odd was hit. Ulrich was still just standing there.
"Hello? Someone in there?" I asked, waving a hand in front of his face. He just growled at me and pushed me down, something that was rather surprising to me. "Hey! XANA's your enemy, not me!" He didn't reply.
"Ulrich! What are you doing!?" Jeremy asked, just as confused as we were. "Wake up, will you?" I sighed, but then noticed something about my staff. It was glowing, which suddenly gave me an idea.
"Fire Blast!" A large amount of flames were expelled from my staff, destroying two more Hornets. "Sweet! I've wanted to do that for a long time!"
"Since when could you use fire magic?" Odd asked me.
"Since now! Fireball!" I missed that shot, and was hit again.
"Odd, two enemies at three o'clock." Jeremy warned.
"Laser Arrow!" He also missed.
"Alright, now let's try a Thunder Bolt!" I pointed my staff, but nothing happened. I looked at it and slapped in on my right palm a few times. "Hey! What gives!?"
"Maybe you can only use one element at a time." Jeremy guessed.
"Huh... Makes sense I guess." I then tried a Magic Blast, which worked just fine. "Must be a tradeoff for having multiple elements." I guessed as I dodged.
Yumi then ran onto another path in search of our pink haired friend. "Aelita!?" She called, but got no response. She continued forward, only to have to block another laser. She then noticed Aelita pulling herself onto the path. She had hidden on a branch sticking out of the ground. Yumi sighed in relief, but was then tackled by the Hornet.
"Yumi!" Jeremy exclaimed, watching more of her Life Points deplete onscreen. "Aelita, are you ok?"
"Yes, I'm fine Jeremy." She replied.
"Yumi! Straight ahead!" I shouted. Looking up as she approached Aelita again,'she threw her fan at the incoming Hornet, killing it. The rest of them seemed to have disappeared though.
"Watch it! They're coming back!" Jeremy shouted, but not quick enough, as Yumi and I were hit. "Ladies, only 20 Life Points left for both of you!" Odd sent a glare over to Ulrich, who still had yet to move since he pushed me.
"Ulrich! Wake up!" He exclaimed. Ulrich simply stood there, seeming to be ok with loosing this mission. Odd let out an annoyed noise, then began running at another incoming Hornet. It sprayed it's poison onto the path, which the feline warrior ran through.
"Odd, you have barely any Life Points left." Odd didn't stop, however, and continued on. He fired one last arrow before being devirtualized by the poison. Yumi, finally let out a groan and stood in front of the still samurai.
"Ulrich! Are you with us or not!?" She asked, seeming to catch his attention, of only slightly. "I know you're unhappy, but there's no reason to be! Our friendship's stronger than that, right?" He offered no reply. "You can't let Sissi's dirty tricks break us up, can you? So forget all about that, please! We need your help!" Ulrich looked down, them unsheathed his saber, looking at the Hornets approaching us.
"You three head for the tower. I'll take care of them." However, before he could even deflect a shot, I found myself hit from a distance, and finally devirtualized.
I pull myself up after falling out of the scanner, and went into the elevator to watch the battle from the lab with Jeremy and Odd.
Ulrich raced forward and sliced one of the Hornets, effectively killing it. He then noticed two more Hornets flying as the girls ran forward, and ran after them. "Triangulate!" He then began running in a triangular fashion around the flying monster. Becoming confused by the trick, the Hornet shot a fake Ulrich, allowing the real one to stab it while saying "Impact!" He then ran forward again as Yumi was devirtualized, and used Impact again to kill the remain monster. Aelita smiled gratefully at him, and entered the tower.
"Way to pull it off at the last second, Ulrich." I said. Jeremy then began typing in a familiar way.
"Return to the past, now!" A white bubble emerged from the holomap, and engulfed us all.
Ulrich's Dorm, Ulrich's POV
The return trip sent us back to earlier this morning, right around the time I received a letter from someone. Right as I could see the corners of the paper, I opened the door, revealing Sissi's plan. She looked up at me, seeming rather shocked.
"Uh... Um, hi!" She said nervously. "I was just passing by, and uh..." She wasn't able to come up with anything past that. Seeing the letter, I snatched it out of her hand. After all, what's ruining a Sissi Scheme without having a little fun?
"What do ya know? Let's see now..." I opened it and began reading the paper, or really pretended too, considering I had already known exactly what it said.
"Well that's a pretty embarrassing situation, don't you think?" Yumi then asked.
"I um, this wasn't the right door!" Sissi then said, taking the letter out of my hand. She then ran away as fast as she could.
"It sure isn't! Why not try and give it Nicholas or to Herb? They's be delighted!" The two of us began laughing as she stormed off. Emily walked in her path, which made her more mad. She pushed her out of the way, completely confusing Emily.
"I haven't said anything to you all morning? How did I manage to make you mad?" She asked, but received no answer. She shrugged and walked over to us. "Hi guys."
"Hello." We greeted back.
"Now, does someone mind filling me in on why you two were so, well, like you were?" Yumi and I looked at one another and laughed. I guess no one ever told her. "What?"
"You know what? It doesn't matter. We shouldn't taint your innocent mind." I said, and began laughing once more as I walked off with Yumi.
"Hey! C'mon guys! That's not fair!" Emily shouted, and continued pestering us the rest of the way to the others.
Done! And I'm pretty happy with it! I decided to mess around with a point of view change, as I thought it would work pretty well.
What's it with me doing good on episodes I hate, and badly on ones I like? Eh, anyways, I edited Cruel Dilemma slightly, so I'd recommend you look at it.
