WHOO HOO! WE ARE NEARING THE END GUYS! Uh... Did I say that out loud...
ANYWAYS! Ghost Channel! I think we can all agree that Ghost Channel is the best episode of season one. It's my favorite of season 1, at least.
Chapter 27: Ghost Channel
Odd, Yumi, Ulrich, and I were all fighting on the Ice Sector. We were extremely close to the tower. Had we not encountered any resistance, Aelita could've simply run inside and deactivate it. XANA, however, wasn't fond of that idea, so he sent several Bloks to defend it.
Each of us were dodging lasers with various flips and rolls. Ulrich ran up to one of the Bloks with a shout of, "Ok!' He blocked a few more blasts before he stabbed it in it's eye "Impact!"
I was doing my best against another Blok. "Ice Shard!" I called. A piece of ice shot out of my staff. Right as it looked like it was going to hit, the Blok shattered it with a laser. I growled as I rolled out of the way again.
"Odd! Take Aelita to the tower! Yumi and Emily are in trouble!" Ulrich ordered. Odd did a fancy flip around one of the Bloks and fired an arrow, killing it.
"Ok, here we go!" Odd replied, running back to where Aelita was hiding. He fired another arrow at a Blok, killing it as well.
I growled at the Blok again. "C'mon! Magic Blast!" I fired. It couldn't get out of the way this time! It exploded, making me cheer! "Ha ha-" I felt a laser hit my back. I quickly looked behind me to see where it had come from, but it was nowhere in sight. I didn't have time to think about it though. I was shot at again and devirtualized.
Back on Earth, I pulled myself out of the scanner. When I climbed up the ladder, I could hear Odd cheering and boasting about himself being great. "Yeah! He's amazing! How does he do it? The crowd is going wild-"
"Odd! Cut it out! There's a third Blok!" Jeremy warned him.
I could hear Odd stop cheering as I walked over to behind Jeremy. "Huh? A third one?" I couldn't help but wince when I saw his life point count go down to 10.
"Odd!" Yumi exclaimed.
"Odd, stop going crazy out there! You're losing too many life points!" I berated him. Then, his dot on the map started running towards the remaining Blok. "Della Robbia, just WHAT do you think you're doing?!"
"Odd, one impact and it's game over! You've only got 10 life points left!" Jeremy stressed.
"10 is more than enough! Here we go!" Odd assured us. And sure enough, the Blok disappeared from the screen. Jeremy let out a low whistle of relief. I myself had to chuckle at Odd's crazy ideas. "You see? What did I tell you?" He boasted.
I watched as Ulrich, Aelita, and Yumi then all ran up to Odd. "Great job Odd!"
"Congratulations!" Aelita said.
"Hey, Jeremy and Emily! Next time, just enjoy the show and let the real pros get the job done, ok?" My expression fell at that. Jeremy and I looked at one another with annoyed looks.
"H-hey! Take it easy, I was just kidding!" Odd tried. Oh, the others must've been giving him the same looks. "I didn't mean it. Hey guys, it was just a joke!"
Jeremy and I both rolled our eyes. "Odd, next time you joke around like that, just remember who let's you copy their history and biology notes when you fall asleep in class," I reminded him. I heard him laugh awkwardly before finally shutting up.
"Return to the past, now,"
Ms. Hertz's Class
We found ourselves back in Ms. Hertz's class from earlier that morning. Ms. Hertz was taking roll, and Jeremy and I were sitting next to one another in the front near the windows. Ulrich and Odd were in the seats behind us.
"Jeremy?"
"Present." Jeremy answered.
"Emily?"
"Here." I called back. Jeremy then leaned back slightly to talk with the others.
"Hey, great work you guys! You were better than ever," Jeremy complimented. "No hard feelings Odd. It was-"
"Odd?" Ms. Hertz called out. We sat there for a moment, waiting for Odd to respond so we could continue talking. When it never came, Jeremy and I looked back. I gasped.
Ulrich and Odd weren't there.
"Odd?" Ms. Hertz tried again. "Odd's absent? Well, and so is Ulrich," she noted. Jeremy and I could only stare at the spots where our friends were.
After all, if they weren't in class, then where could they be?
? 3rd Person POV
"Jeremy?" Ms. Hertz called out.
"Present." Jeremy responded in a bored voice.
"Emily?"
"Here." Emily responded in an equally bored tone. She didn't even bother to look up from whatever book she was reading.
Odd leaned forward to whisper to them. "Hey, you guys both did great work. No hard feelings, huh?" Neither one responded to him.
"After what you said to them before, it's no wonder they're sulking." Ulrich pointed out.
"Odd! Ulrich!' Ms. Hertz harsh voice brought them out of their conversation.
"Here ma'am!"
"I know they you're here! What I do NOT know is what you have to say to each other that's so interesting." Ms. Hetz scolded them. Odd lowered himself back into his seat and shut his mouth.
"They'd asked Emily and me if we'd noticed that, with all due respect ma'am, the Brower equation you wrote on the blackboard is wrong." Jeremy chimed in suddenly. Ms. Hertz looked at him in surprise.
"It's not wrong from a mathematical point of view, but it fails to take into account Broasdky's theories on the phenomenon of compared masses. You should treat the second unknown as a squared mass, not a factorial." Emily explained. She still hadn't looked up from her book, but she has shifted her eyes slightly so she was looking at heir teacher.
Ms. Hertz looked at the board in shock. She then turned back to look at the group of four, Emily and Jeremy in particular. "Why, yes, you're absolutely right!"
Odd pointed at the two with his thumb in amazement. Ulrich gave Emily a puzzled look. He leaned forward and asked, "I thought you said you hated physics?" Ulrich asked.
"I studied last night," was Emily's curt response. Ulrich scratched the back of his head. That didn't sound much like her either, but there was no time left to ask her. Class had started.
Kadic 1st Person POV
"Jeremy? Emily? Would you know where Ulrich and Odd are?"Ms. Hertz asked us. I opened my mouth to answer, but no words would come out. I looked at Jeremy for help, but what he did surprised me even more.
He ran out of the room! "Jeremy!" I exclaimed in surprise. I stood up to follow after him. I hesitated when I saw everyone staring at me, but I shook my head. The other's lives were too important to hesitate. I ran out of the room after the blond. "Jeremy! Wait up!" I requested as we neared the science buildings exit.
"Do you have any idea where they could be?" Jeremy asked me. I shook my head.
"Absolutely no clue." I replied. We ran halfway across campus to where Yumi's history class was. Jeremy pulled himself up on the windowsill and looked inside. He quickly dropped and shook his head. "Where else could they be?" I asked, a slight panic filling my tone.
Jeremy said nothing as he began to run again. I followed behind as best I could. He wasn't the fastest guy around, but he could run pretty well when he needed to. We ran all the way to the dorm building and opened Ulrich and Odd's door. "Nothing?" Jeremy questioned in disbelief. I gave him a worried look.
We went into his room and booted his computer up. "Aelita!" her face popped up almost instantly.
"Aelita, please tell us Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi are there with you!" I exclaimed. She gave us a confused look.
"Why? Didn't they come back from Lyoko?" she asked.
"No, Aelita! I've lost them!" Jeremy answered. His voice was laced with panic. He was just a worried as I was about them. "Something must've gone wrong in the return trip!"
"Calm down Jeremy. They couldn't have just vanished. Go and check the scanners while I look around Lyoko,. Aelita did her best to ease our concerns.
"Good idea!" Jeremy agreed. I was a bit more concerned with who was standing at Jeremy's door.
"Uh... guys?" I simply pointed at Jim when Jeremy looked at me. Jim's arms were folded across his chest and he did NOT look happy to see us here. Aelita quickly disappeared from the screen.
"Do you mind telling me what you two are doing here?" Jim questioned. Jeremy and I gave a nervous glance at each other before looking back at him.
? 3rd Person POV
"Are you guys ok?" Yumi asked Ulrich and Odd.
Odd shrugged a bit. "As ok as two guys can be with two hours of bio ahead of them." Odd answered. "We were gonna ask Emily for help but uh..." He trailed off. The trio looked over at where Jeremy and Emily were. They were sitting against one of the pillars, and they appeared to be quietly conversing with each other.
"Why exactly are they sulking?" Yumi asked, her head slightly tilted.
"They're angry at Odd." Ulrich responded, looking at his biology textbook.
"Listen, something really strange happened in english class." Yumi started, catching the boy's attention again. "She was reading a passage out of one of her books. and the nall of a sudden, it looked like she... I don't know, fizzled for a moment before she repeated herself again' almost like a broken record, but it only lasted a second."
"And what? You're thinking that it could be XANA?" Ulrich asked.
"I really don't know, Ulrich. But it sure wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on things," Yumi decided. Her gaze lingered on Jeremy and Emily again. They seemed to look back at her with cold and hardened expression.
Kadic 1st Person POV
Jeremy and I were taken to the principals office shortly after Jim caught us. I fidgeted in the chair uncomfortably while Mr. Delmas sighed at us. Jim was standing at the door to keep us from running away.
"Jeremy, Emily, this is serious! Everyone is very concerned. Now for the last time, do you know where Yumi, Odd, and Ulrich are?" Mr. Delmas tried again. We had answered him several times already.
"No, sir. I..." Jeremy couldn't seem to find anything else to say. I just simply shook my head again.
Mr. Delmas let out yet another irritated sigh as he stood up from his chair. "As I'm you can imagine, their parents are worried sick!"
"But we told you already that we don't know where they are." I said. I gripped my jacket sleeves tightly. "And Jeremy and I are just as worried as their parents- maybe even more." I kept my thoughts to myself. Mr. Delmas leaned over his desk and gripped its edge.
"Think about it. Please! The smallest clue could prove to be a great help; you five are always together." Mr. Delmas begged us. Jeremy looked down at his computer when a beep emanated from it. He quickly picked it up.
"Alright sir. We'll think about it, but we need to be alone." Jeremy said. I gave Jeremy a wary glance.
"You have an awful lot of nerve, young man! However, if it's the only way to bring you two to your senses, I'll give you three minutes." Mr. Delmas allowed. Jeremy and I thanked him and got out of the room as quickly as we could without running. He pulled his laptop out and opened on the lench in the waiting area.
"Aelita, I felt your message. What's new?" Jeremy asked when Aelita's face popped up.
"I'm sorry, but they're not on Lyoko." Aelita apologized to us. "There's an activated tower though, only I can't seem to locate it. I need your help. Go to the factory."
I shook my head. "We can't. Jeremy and I are stuck in the principals office." I quickly explained.
"You are? Don't worry, I'll help you two get out of there." Aelita assured us. Jeremy and I shared a look of confusion. "Yes, just like XANA, I can operate on the school's network as well. Listen closely now..." Aelita told us her plan, and it seemed like it would work. When we heard footsteps approaching, Jeremy closed his laptop and stuffed it away again. We stood up when we saw Jim and Mr. Delmas.
"We've thought it over. We'll tell you where they are." Jeremy announced to them.
Boiler Room
"But there's nobody here!" Mr. Delmas protested as we entered.
"We'll have to wait a little while." I explained to him. They both looked at Jeremy and me with an unsure glance.
"They'll be here any minute now."Jeremy said. I could here the pipes in begin to let off steam.
"Well? Where are they?" Mr. Delmas asked impatiently. Then, there was an explosion. One of the pipes had burst thanks to Aelita's help. Jim and Delmas ran for the exit, but Jeremy and I went for the entrance to the sewers. I closed the door behind me and we were off.
We reached the factory in no time at all. Jeremy hooked his earpiece to his ear as I hit the button for the elevator. "Aelita?" His face lit up at her response. "Thanks for giving us a hand!"
"Yeah, no kidding." I said with a nod.
"...Yes, I know. We'll find out soon enough." Jeremy then replied to her. I gulped at that. The elevator opened to the scanners. We each looked around at them, but one thing was clear: no one was there.
"Empty..." I muttered. We went back up to the lab. Jeremy connected to the supercomputer, and soon enough, Aelita's face appeared.
"They aren't there." Jeremy reported solemnly. I grabbed his shoulder and squeezed it in an attempt to comfort him.
"If they're not here, and they're not on Lyoko, then where are they?" I had to wonder.
"Jeremy, Emily, before you two got here, I capture this soundbite. A sort of... radio or TV station transmission. But be careful, it was really bizarre." Aelita informed us. She then opened up another window. It seemed to be... a recording? ANd boy was it bizarre!
"Huh!?" Jeremy and I exclaimed. There was Ulrich and Odd, wearing their PE clothes in gym class alongside everyone else, minus Jeremy and I.
"This is crazy!" I said.
The recording had Jim leading Ulrich, Odd, and the rest of the class in the usual stretches we did. I saw Herb try to beat up on Nicholas, but then it repeated itself. Yumi, who was sitting on the bleachers watching the class, seemed to notice the fizzling as well. But where were Jeremy and I? Well, 'we' were sitting in the bleachers too apparently.
"What are we looking at? They didn't come back to earth, did they?" Jeremy questioned. I shook my head.
"No, there's no way they did."
"What if what we're seeing is a recording?" Aelita suggested.
"But how can that be, Aelita? Emily and I are in the picture!" Jeremy reminded her.
Yumi approached 'us' in the recording, or, whatever it really was. "Guys, there are weird things happening. Any news from Aelita?" Yumi asked.
"I'm having difficulty contacting her. I have no idea if there's an activated tower or not, but at the slightest alert, we'll have to move in." 'Jeremy' responded to her. The voice he had was monotone, and he seemed rather not worried about Aelita. Yumi looked over at the PE class going on, then back at 'us'.
"Hey, why aren't you two in phys ed?" Yumi asked 'us'. Another valid question.
"Jim agreed to excuse us." 'I' replied to her this time. She gave 'us' a confused look again
"He did? That's weird. You two aren't exactly his star athletes," Yumi said. 'Jeremy' smirked at her.
"You've just gotta know how to handle him." 'He' looked over to where Jim was. He was making Ulrich and Odd do pushups, but waved at 'Jeremy' when he looked over at them. "Not like them," 'Jeremy' was referring to Ulrich and Odd.
Yumi looked at 'Jeremy' and 'me' in shock. "Incredible..." Was all she muttered before walking off.
I looked over to Jeremy; the REAL Jeremy. "It sure isn't a tape. It's happening somewhere right now." He deduced.
"But hey aren't in the real world or in Lyoko, so where else could they be?" I pointed out. Jeremy gave me a weak shrug.
"Somewhere else." Was all he could tell me.
"But, I've checked all the transfer protocol data, and unless a sort of 'parallel world' exists somewhere." She paused for a moment. "There's no such thing as an intermediate space."
Jeremy put his thumb to his chin. "Unless XANA has manufactured one!" He realized.
"XANA can do that?" I asked in surprise. Jeremy looked back at me and nodded.
"They're living in a world parallel to Lyoko, modelled after the school. And he couldn't have made a better trap!" Jerem growled out. Aelita was wringing her hands in worry and I noticed he the grip on my jacket sleeves had tightened.
"So, they think they're in reality, but it's all just an elaborate illusion concocted by XANA." I finally got it. "And now they're living under XANA's control, completely at his mercy.
"We've gotta rescue them! Find out where the signal is coming from!"Jeremy ordered.
"I've been trying to, but the signal is masked. The signal is scrambled. All we have is the soundwave and not the signal itself." Aelita informed him. I saw Jeremy bite his lip slightly.
"Then that's what we'll have to use. We need to program it to guide the scanner and dive towards the source using a trial and error system." Jeremy decided. Aelita's eyes widened.
"But that's crazy and you know it. And besides, who could do it?" Jeremy and I looked at one another. We didn't even have to say anything; we were both thinking the same thing.
"It'll have to be us." I said, motioning at Jeremy and I. "If you take over the controls, then the two of will be able to go."
"It's too dangerous!"
"But we can't leave Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi at the mercy of XANA! Think about it: if Emily and I are in front of you, who's the other Jeremy and Emily?" Alita looked down. She understood, that was obvious, but she didn't like it. "Aelita, there's something I want to tell you. I'd much rather be entering a virtual world to find you waiting there for me."
"So would I,"
"C'mon, Einstein. Let's go save our friends." I told him. He nodded and pulled his earpiece out. He followed me into the elevator. When it opened to the scanner room, I walked over to one of the closed scanners. Jeremy looked at the one her was in front of warily. I gave him a reassuring thumbs up.
"It's ok. I've prepared the transfer procedure. You can get into the scanners." Aelita's voice rang out. I stepped in without hesitating. Jeremy followed after a moment. The doors closed around me. "Scanner, Emily. Scanner, Jeremy. Virtualization.
Kadic?
We both landed near what seemed to be the school's garden shed. Well, I landed find I should say. Jeremy landed flat on his face. I had to snicker at the sight. "Nice landing there." I teased. He ignored me and stood up.
"Aelita? Aelita can you hear us? No, of course not. That'd be too easy" He quickly realized.
The feeling of being in the world was... strange. It looked exactly like Kadic's campus looked like, but there were things that were very different. There was no real air to breathe, and I still didn't feel like I was real. I felt like I was on Lyoko.
I shook my head. "Let's get a move on, Jeremy. XANA's bound to figure out we're here sooner or later. We began to walk away from the gardening shed and towards the main campus.
Ulrich and Odd's Dorm
Odd rolled his eyes, barely looking up from the comic he was reading. "Yeah, Yumi's what you might call intuitive, but she can be wrong sometimes. And let's face it Ulrich: any girl with a crush on you can't be what I call absolutely normal."
"What about Jeremy and Emily? Don't tell me you don't find their behavior a bit strange," Ulrich countered. Odd shrugged.
"Oh yeah, they have been acting a bit weird lately. But to think that they're hiding a huge secret- Hello?" Odd answered his phone. "Yumi, is that you? What-'
"It's started again!" Yumi interrupted, "But this time it's a lot worse than ever! This time it's at my own home!"
Seeing Odd's slightly disturbed face, Ulrich grabbed the phone himself. "What's going on Yumi?"
"It's my parents! They're acting so... I don't know, so strangely!" Yumi said in a quivering voice."They keep making the same gestures, and they act as if I'm not even there! It's as if they were phony imitations of my real mom and dad; we've gotta do something!"
"You better not stay there.I'll see you the park, ok? We'll go to the factory. I'll warn Jeremy." Ulrich said.
"No, not them!" Yumi exclaimed. Ulrich and Odd made shocked faces. "Just Odd, you, and me, ok? Let's leave Jeremy and Emily out of it this time. I... I have my doubts. See you," She hung up. Odd shrugged when Ulrich looked at him.
1st Person POV
As we walked, we saw no one. No teachers, no students, heck, there weren't any animals either. We walked in silence until we reached the dorm building.
"Let's hope they're in their rooms," Jeremy said. I was going to say something, but fear overcame my body instead. Behind us was Jim, but he was looking rather er... green.
"J-Jeremy?" I caught his attention and pointed at the zombified Jim teacher. The zombie then grabbed Jeremy and tossed him across the hall. "Hey!" I shouted. I tried grabbing his arm, but he shoved me off. He then picked me up and threw me as well. I went further than Jeremy and slid to a stop behind him. The blow hurt me more than I thought it would. It wasn't terrible, but it hurt more than the usual laser from a monster did. Jeremy quickly got up and dashed to me.
"Get up! This is no time to hang around!" He urged. He helped me up and we took off running. I could hear Jim's thundering footsteps behind us as we ran out of the building and into the park. If we could make it in time, we could still catch the others! However, when we finally got there, they had already entered the sewers.
"Oh no, too late!" I cried. Looking near us, Jim was still there. We ran off, only to have a pupilless Nicholas and Herb stop us. "Outta the way!" I shouted, and dragged Jeremy behind me as I pushed past them. I looked back at them while we were running. They had turned into zombies as well! Now we had three zombie after us!
"For a program, you're pretty good imitation!" Jeremy exclaimed to the zombie Jim. We ran for what seemed like forever. The sky became dark by the time we even neared the factory. We both hopped over a fence and continued onward.
We ran inside the factory and swung down. I practically slammed my hand on the button. I tapped my foot impatiently. We could hear bits and pieces of the conversation between the others and our XANAfied selves.
"Yumi, if you have any doubts, then let me, Ulrich, and Odd get transferred before you." I heard XANA me say. When the elevator door finally opened, Jeremy and I ran out. The others looked at us in shock.
"Yumi! You're right, it's a trap!" Jeremy shouted. I nodded my head rapidly.
"Don't go!" I urged. Our XANAfied selves looked unimpressed.
"XANA, is that the best you can do?" XANA Jeremy taunted us. "A cheap imitation to delay us?'
"They're lying! The phonies are their, it's them!" Jeremy argued.
"Everything here is phony. You three never came back from the last return trip. This whole world is one created by XANA." I explained to them.
"That would explain all the inconsistencies!" Yumi realized.
"Of course it would, XANA can make mistakes too. He only has theoretical knowledge of the real world." Jeremy said. "What he wants is to get you into the scanners to get rid of you once and for all!"
"That's totally absurd, XANA." XANA Emily said. The others looked at one another skeptically.
"It's true, we have no proof that they aren't the ones lying to us, right?" Ulrich noted. "They could've created the inconsistencies too."
"Exactly! To hold us up while Aelita and Lyoko are being erased forever!" Odd pointed an accusatory finger at us.
I growled in frustration. "For gods sake guys! The proof is right in front of you! Jeremy and I came here to rescue you!"
"Oh, and would you mind telling us how you got here, XANA?" XANA Emily asked, her arms folded.
"Emily and I are here through the scanners. We're both here in digital form." Jeremy explained. XANA Jeremy scoffed at this.
"You gave yourself away! Everybody knows that the real Jeremy wouldn't step foot in a scanner! He'd be much too frightened." Jeremy closed his mouth at that. I glared at XANA.
"Oh, the 'real Jeremy', huh? Are you implying that you yourself, are not real?" I asked. XANA Jeremy's smirk faltered for a moment.
"And besides, I'm sure Jeremy would go into a scanner if his friends were in danger." Odd defended, looking back at us.
"No doubt about it."
"Absolutely none."
"But it's not logical, you see? He's too scared to even try- I mean, I'm much too scared!" I grinned. Yep, that was XANA all right. "If not then why haven't I already done it?"
I told you why, because he's not infallible. XANA's knowledge of people is only approximative!" Jeremy said. I nodded in agreement.
"Right, and as far as friendship goes, it's not approximative. It's double zero!" Odd said, then smiled at us. "Good to see you two again." Jeremy and I smiled back.
"No, it's not logical!" XANA me exclaimed. We looked over at the XANAfied versions of Jeremy and me and gasped. "NOT LOGICAL!" They cried again. Their bodies began to glow before they morphed into zombielike creature similar to the ones Jeremy had seen before. Speaking of them, XANA teleported them to the factory and they each grabbed Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi. Jeremy himself was wrapped up in cables. He
I was hoisted into the air as a hand was wrapped tightly around my neck. The one doing it? My XANAfied self, of course. I struggled against her grasp, but they weren't letting up one bit. I gasped in an attempt to get more air.
"YOU ARE GOING TO DIE! HA HA HA!" The XANAfied clones boomed.
"AELITA!" Jeremy shouted. I could hear the others cry out in pain as the XANA clones tightened their grips. I choke out a few noises, but I couldn't do anything.
Then, I fell to the ground. The XANAfied clones vanished. I tried to put my hand to my throat, but when I lifted it, I found it was slowly disappearing. I gasped, making the others look at me. "Emily! NO!' They shouted. Then, my vision was black.
Seconds later, I fell from one of the scanners. The other opened, and Jeremy too fell out of the scanner. But the others were nowhere insight. i was exhausted, and Jeremy probably was too, but we had to make sure. We ran into the elevator and straight to the lab. Jeremy quickly put in his earpiece.
"Aelita! Here I am. Are you ok?" Jeremy asked.
Her face came up on the screen. She looked just fine. "Yes, I'm fine." Jeremy let out a breath of relief. "I got them back, all of them. Safe and sound. The parallel world bubble has disappeared."
"I don't remember anything, but I feel just great!" I heard Odd say. I had to chuckle at that. That was Odd for ya.
"Aelita, what happened to us?" Ulrich asked.
"XANA created a replica of where you live so that you'd think it was reality."
"He locked us up in a virtual prison." Yumi said.
"Jeremy, Emily, and I did all we could to set you free." Aelita informed them.
"You're welcome," I chimed in cheerfully.
"Wait, Jeremy came yo Lyoko?" Odd questioned. "Fantastic Einstein! Join the Daredevil Heroes Club"
"Thanks Odd. No hard feelings, huh?" Jeremy said, a smile on his face. I cringed at the screen when a bunch of red dots appear around the four of the,
"Yikes. Looks like you guys interrupted one of XANA's parties ." I half joked.
"No need to worry, Emily. We're used to this. It's a piece of cake! Here we go!" Ulrich exclaimed. I grinned as I watched the four friendly dots run into battle.
Yeah, they could handle it no problem.
My Room
I closed my DS after playing it for awhile. We ended up having to do a return trip in order to erase the memories about Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd's sudden disappearance. I let out a sigh. From my vague memories of season , I knew Code: Earth was next, and I was both excited and terrified.
On one hand, Aelita was finally going to be materialized! This was Jeremy's dream, and he was finally going to accomplish it!
But... XANA was also going to get stronger. It already amazed me every attack how powerful he truly was. It's an entirely different experience watching it rather than being a part of it.
I decided to shake my rhoughts away. I needed sleep, and lack of it was probably making me thinks the worst of things. I turned my lamp off, but right before I feel asleep, I swear I heard a voice say,
"The time has nearly arrived. All will be learned soon enough...Be careful, child,"
And there was Ghost Channel! As I said before, it's my personal favorite episode from season 1, but I think it's the fan favorite as well.
Next time, it's Code: Earth! Get excited!
