I'm back! I'm so sorry about the wait, it's just been a stressful couple of months for me and I'm sorry that I couldn't upload a chapter for you. I'm not going to tell you every little detail about it, but it's harder to write a chapter when you have mock exams and personal problems. But I'm here now with this chapter.

Thank you to everyone who has read, favorited, followed and reviewed this story so far. So enjoy chapter 16 :)

(Jade's POV)

"What do you mean you don't know how to dance?" I asked the brunette a look of disbelief on my face.

"I know how to dance Jade" Tori said her back facing me as she searched through her fridge in search of something to eat.

"But not dance with another person, like waltzing?"

"No I have never learnt how to waltz" She mumbled closing the fridge. "There's nothing to eat, want to order in?" She asked me and I smirked as an idea popped into my head.

"Nah, I'm taking you to Nozus" I said, feeling my heart flutter at the way her face lit up.

"Really?" She asked, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear and I watched the movement like I was hypnotised.

I stood up and walked towards her, taking her hands in my own "Really" I said softly. Before tugging her towards the door. "Come on, I'm hungry and I get moody when I'm hungry" I said smiling when I heard the faint chuckle coming from behind me.

"Okay, let's go then. Jadey needs feeding" I turned my head to playfully narrow my eyes at her, but I couldn't stop the grin creeping onto my face. I opened the front door, doing a dramatic gesture of bowing to allow Tori to go first. My stomach doing backflips at the small giggle that Tori made.

"So why are we eating out?" Tori asked me as climbed into the passenger seat. I couldn't help the small frown when I didn't get the chance to hold the car door for her.

I got into the drivers seat and started up the engine. "I fancied sushi" I said, not saying what I really wanted to say was that I fancied her. "I'm paying Vega"

I smirked as I watched Tori out of the corner of my eye began to pout and fold her arms across her chest. I knew from the moment I said it that she wouldn't be pleased with the idea of me paying for the food, but for one night I want to treat Tori as my girlfriend. And is this the only way then so be it.

"But what if I wanted to pay?" Tori asked the pout still evident on her face, that I couldn't help but think she was adorable while doing so.

"Tough" I said driving into a parking spot, turning the engine off. "You can pay for the next time we eat out" I said and the pout was replaced with a small smile.

"Fine then, next time we go out. I'm paying" Tori said with a confirmed nod and got out of my car and with a grin I followed after her. I quickened my pace so that my speed matched Tori and I entwined our fingers together. To Tori this could be seen as a comforting gesture, but to me it meant so much more. It showed me a future that the two of us could have, a future where neither of us have to hide our feelings from the other. Where we are free to love each other. I smiled slightly at the thought, and stepped forward opening the door for her, allowing the brunette to walk through first.

"After you my lady" I grinned, doing a dramatic hand gesture. My grin growing when I noticed the hint of a blush on Tori's cheeks.

"Would never have taken you for someone who would have manners" Tori said as we walked towards a table near the back.

"Theres a lot you don't know about me" I smirked pulling one of the chairs out for Tori to sit on. "My mom raised me with, and I will use them when I want to" Once Tori had sat I gently pushed her chair in before going to sit on my own chair on the opposite end of the table.

"Well then I guess I just have to find out what other secrets you're keeping from me" She said, a smile on her face.

"Well, who knows what we'll uncover tonight" I smirked picking up the menu and glancing down to look at it.

"Look at you being all mysterious" I heard Tori mumble before turning her attention to her own menu. The waitress came along a few minutes later putting down a glass of iced water down for each of us. Tori glanced up at her, giving her the bright smile that made my own heart flutter. My eyes moved it's way up the waitress' body, who was still standing at our table, her brown hair was pulled back in a ponytail and I could see the suggestive smile on her face as her eyes dragged it's way across Tori's face and body and I couldn't help the low growl emit from my throat.

I did not like the way she was looking at my Tori, I felt the jealousy take over my being. I reached over the table and gently grabbed Tori's hand. I began playing with her fingers, noticing the faint smile appearing on the other girls face. My smirk appeared on my face as I looked up at the waitress noticing the frown on her face as she glanced at our adjoined hands.

"We're ready to order" I said as my thumb stroked the back of her hand. After saying what we

wanted to eat, she finally left and Tori turned towards me.

"You were so jealous of her" She told me a teasing grin on her face.

"What?" I asked feeling the heat on my face. Shit she caught me, act oblivious. Don't let her see. "I wasn't, I was waiting for to ask what we wanted to eat"

"So that's why you randomly grabbed my hand?" She asked me raising an eyebrow.

"Oh just… Shut up" I said, my stomach fluttering when she giggled, putting her free hand in front of her face. "So how are you feeling?" I asked hoping she gets the double meaning behind my words. I wanted to know if she was having any more nightmares. If she was having any problems at home.

She smiled slightly before answering "No more nightmares they haven't shown up in a while. No news of my parents. I'm sort of thankful for that. I don't need them" She answered and I squeezed her hand. I knew she wanted to tell me more, say one more thing and I could kind of guess what it was. 'I have you' and it's true she does have me and she forever will have me. Because she's all I want. The only family that I have is my Mom, and some could say that Lizzie could be considered as my family. But now Tori was my family, she was the first thing I thought of when I woke up in the morning. The last thing on my mind before I fell asleep.

Before when she she had put all her trust in me, would have freaked me out. But now I was fine. I believed her. I had her, and she had me. That's all we would ever need.

"Thank you Jade, for a lovely evening" Tori said as we walked into the living room of her house.

"It's not over yet" I said smirking as I shrugged off my leather jacket, chucking it on the nearby chair.

"So what classifies a night as over then?" She asked me sitting down on the sofa watching me.

"Well, when it becomes daytime means it's not night. Or when everything that has been planned is done" I smirked at the confused expression on her face.

"So which one do we fall into?"

"The latter" I said before walking in front of her and held out my hand. She stared at it before looking up to me, her eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. God she looked adorable. "C'mon Vega, I don't bite" I smiled at her as she placed her hand in mine standing up.

"Place your hand on my shoulder" I said softly as I placed my hand on her waist, she smiled shyly as she did what I told her to do.

"Please don't tell me you're going to teach me how to dance?" She asked me, a blush evident on her cheeks.

"Then I won't say it," I said pulling her closer to me, till our bodies were pressed close together. I grinned as I began to move the two of gracefully across the living gazes locked together, neither of us daring to look away. I became entranced by her chocolate brown eyes, I had always thought that brown eyes were dull and boring. There was nothing interesting about the colour of brown. But when I looked at Tori's, they seemed different. Yes they were still brown, but they were so much more. All of her emotions were shown in her eyes and I thought they were beautiful.

I twirled her Tori under my arm pulling her back to me "Why are you doing this?" She whispered.

"Because Tori, your first dance should be with someone who knows how to. Otherwise they would be stumbling over their feet, stepping on yours. A first dance should make you want to dance all your dances with them" I said softly my fingers drawing small patterns on her waist. Her eyes darkened, as she moved closer to me and I suddenly became very nervous of the entire situation.

"Dancing like this?" She breathed and the tone of her voice caused a shiver to run through my body.

"I er, yeah" I nodded, my eyes moving down to her lips. God I want to kiss her. I want to kiss her so badly. I found myself unconsciously leaning in and noticing that Tori was doing the same. At some point we had stop moving and was just standing still, our arms wrapped around each other. Should I kiss her? I think I should kiss. C'mon why are you so nervous, you've done this before why would now be any different? Well for a start it's Tori. Amazing, beautiful Tori and I totally can't do this. All my thoughts were stopped when a soft pair of lips were placed on top of mine.

Oh mother of god, Tori is kissing me!
