To Skarlet Moon- Thank you! ^_^

He dropped her. Marinette rolled onto her side, gasping for air. In her peripheral, his boots retreating two steps, unsteady. Dirt smeared the fresh leather. Turning her head as he swayed, he fell to his knees, planting his weight on his hands, one furled into a fist. Marinette's earrings. Head bowed, shoulders hunched, he pulled at his hair. Growled. "Chat?" She breathed tentatively. At the sound of her voice, he glanced up, trying to catch his breath. Her earrings clattered to the floor. Hand now free, he took hold of his ring, teeth gritted. Tremors rocked his body, cat ears laying flat as he snarled, struggling to oppose the battle raging behind those narrowed yellow slits. "Chat?" Marinette tried again. His eyes flicked to her, grimaced, shook his head.

"Can't- get... off..." Another head shake, a whimper tumbling from his lips. Marinette attempted to scoot closer, but he hissed and fled to a higher perch. Pebbles and dust rained down the debris. His ring shortly followed. Chat's alternate form sat back slightly, catching his breath. Face concealed in shadows. Marinette could see him shaking his hands, rubbing them together as though to re-establish warmth in them.

"Chat?" Marinette called anxiously. He peered over the edge, her heart skipped a beat.

"My lady." Adrien smiled.

"Aaa... Adar... Adr..."

"Yeah. Hello. Um... I guess the cat's out the bag now, huh?" His smile turned sheepish. Breathe." He encouraged. Marinette took a deep breath, eyes the widest he had ever seen them. Her head looked ready to explode, unbelievably red, like a tomato. Adrien started to climb down. He felt so calm. Fires had been extinguished, nothing was scarlet-tinted anymore, he didn't hate her. He didn't hate Ladybug. They were one and the same, like him and Chat Noir.

While she battled to compose herself, he took up her earrings and dropped them kindly in her hand, pushing her fingers back to cover them. He found his ring, crushing it underfoot. The akuma and Plagg burst out. Plagg instantly called him an idiot and demanded camembert. Tikki extracted herself from the earrings once Marinette put them back on.

"Plagg!" She exclaimed happily.

"Tikki!" The kwamis collided, chasing back and forth excitedly.

"Oh, you still smell of cheese!" Tikki complained, hands over her nose.

"There's nothing wrong with cheese." Plagg sniffed the air. "You smell like cookies."

"Cookies are better than cheese." Tikki mumbled. "Marinette, are you alright?"

"Adrien..." Marinette squeaked, pointing with a chronically shaking hand. Tikki glanced round at her charge's crush and giggled. Plagg rolled his eyes.

"Women. The akuma's getting away!" Marinette snapped into action, transforming into Ladybug in seconds, yoyo snapping out and snatching the evilised butterfly from the air. She breathed a sigh of relief and let the purified creature go. "Now that's all done and dusted, I'm off. I have a serious hankering for some good old camembert. And you two have a lot of mess to clean up." He snickered. Ladybug contemplated hm for a moment, toying with her yoyo. She hurled it up into the air.

"Lucky Charm!" She enthused. A flash of light and she was given a broom. "Oh, very funny, Tikki." She instantly tossed the cleaning instrument upwards, crying, "Miraculous Ladybug!" Her power spiralled out, the building repairing itself, Chat Blanc's path of destruction and broken hearts mending piece by piece, couples reuniting. Adrien recovered his mended ring with a small smile. "Spots off, Tikki." Her kwami joined the cat's and silence ensued. Marinette fiddled with her hair anxiously, Adrien rubbed at his neck. Neither looked at the other. The magical siblings shared a quick look, voiced their hunger and raced from the building. The quiet between the two heroes stretched until he cleared his throat, almost shyly.

"I guess I sort of... overreacted." Adrien said apologetically.

"It was kind of expected though." Marinette hunched her shoulders. "I'm sorry. I- Ladybug- should have been a bit more understanding."

"Chat Noir shouldn't have been such an idiot."

"But... how come you remember what happened?"

"Um... Plagg?" Adrien shrugged and made a face. Marinette smiled. "So, let me get this straight. You're Ladybug, I'm Chat Noir, you're Marinette, I'm Adrien. Chat Noir fancies Ladybug, Ladybug is Marinette, Marinette fancies Adrien, Adrien is Chat Noir who may or may not also sort of fancy Marinette too." She blinked at him. "Yeah, it's making my head hurt too." He offered her his hand, bringing hers to his lips. "How about we start over?" He turned her hand to read her watch. "I'll take you to lunch. My treat." Marinette flushed crimson, excitement bubbling inside, ready to blow the top of her crazy. Adrien held back an amused chuckle, intrigued by the colours flooding her face.

"OK." She squeaked. Adrien smiled. Not a Chat Noir smile full of mischief and flirting, but the sweet Adrien smile that had pulled her in originally. "I can't believe I kept calling you 'kitty'."

"That's not as bad as 'bugaboo'." He laughed nervously. Marinette wrinkled her nose, a short hum of agreement. Adrien was trying to align his thoughts, decipher Marinette's behaviour- no wonder she had been so much calmer around him as Chat Noir than as Adrien; it also explained Ladybug's attitude towards Adrien as well. "You-" He started, stopping when he noticed something had occured to her.

"You purr." This time, he resembled a tomato. "And your puns are sometimes appreciated." She added quickly, encouraging him to relax. Still red, but he managed a cheeky grin.

"I knew it."

"Adrien, your Chat Noir is showing."

"Marinette, so is your Ladybug."

This is a very fast-ish chapter which is why I wasn't happy with it and did the other ending as well which I feel is better, so I apologise if this one is pants, but PLEASE keep an eye out for the other one! I put a bit more effort into it and there may or may not be more Chat Blanc and different angles of the square in more depth, sort of. I'M NOT GIVING ANY SPOILERS! :D

Alternate Ending Two will be up later today, I warn you now, however, the first few chapters are pretty much the same, so sorry!
