What happen next shocked the whole league.
"You're very lucky that was a low voltage shock Flash".
All heads turn to the new voice that interrupted their conversation and, to their astonishment. There was Batman in a sitting up position, with a blank look on his face.
"BATS! Whoa how you feeling? I can't believe you're up man". Said an excited Flash. All six members were around Batman again. While they were standing all around batman, he looked at everyone's faces until his eyes rested on one face. He looked straight at her. He was staring at the eyes of his lover and, she too couldn't pull herself away from looking at him.
Diana blew out a shaky breath thanking the gods he is alive 'Thank hera'. "Batman good to see you up" said a relief Wonder Woman.
"Yes Batman good to see you are up. A little shocking that you are up already. You were attacked two hours ago." Joh'n stated.
Batman turned to the Martian and looked at him oddly. "Attacked? Attacked by what? Anyways how did I ended up in the medical bay area? Everyone stared at him as if he lost his mind. "What? Why are you all looking at me like that?" For some reason Bruce felt cornered and slowly his anger was raising.
"Batman you mean to tell us you don't remember a thing that happen"? Said The Green Lantern.
"No like I said before I have no idea what you are talking about". Said Batman
"Can you at least try to remember"? This time it was Superman who spoke.
"I can try. It's a bit fuzzy all I remember was that I was trying to help a man then all of a sudden I was calling headquarters for backup. But for what I can't remember". He said looking at all of them.
"Batman you were attacked by a werewolf, how can you not remember that kind of attack"? Said a concerned hawkgirl.
"You can't be serious can you? A werewolf? Really you guys must be tired from your missions. Now if you excuse me I need to get back to Gotham soon. I report to one of you later". He was getting out of bed and pulling at the IV's and, cords making them beep out of control.
"Oh no you don't. You're not going anywhere you have to be checked out by the doctors first, you know that". Superman said while getting in front of Batman view of the exit.
"I don't give a damn about getting checked out, now MOVE OUT of my way before I move you myself"
"Batman no need to get angry."
"I'M NOT ANGRY, I just need to be on my way. I have been away from my city long enough". Batman said trying to step around superman.
"Oh come on Batman it's only a checkup, it will be quick" grabbing Batman's shoulder.
Something snap in batman's brain when superman grabbed his shoulder. "LET ME GO, I SAID I AM FINE. SO LEAVE AT THAT." With a even lower tone or more like growled out "Now let me pass, or we are going to have a problem in here". Batman said with a snarl breathing in hard.
Everyone in the room felt the aggressiveness that batman was giving. They all knew of his attitude but this reaction was new even for the grumpy bat. When no one made a move to stop him anymore. Batman resumed his path to the exit. A smirk on his face before leaving he turns one last time.
"Oh before I forget to tell you all". His smirk that was once on his face was now gone. "Never and I'll say Never step foot in Gotham again". The message was clear as day. It was not an option for them it was an order. With that the batman left the medical bay. The team just watched him leave with shocked expression on their faces.
