Starlight: She has updating her stories in a long time and she feels bad for her followers.
Reala: When was the last time is updating your story?
Starlight: Last August.
NiGHTS & Owl: Oh.
Reala: At least she updates more than two years like some of stories she follows.
Starlight: She wrote this chapter a long time and reread it and edit yesterday and today.
Jackle: Better than nothing.
Starlight: Anyhow, ppgXrrb20 doesn't own the NiGHTS crew, the songs, or Valentines. She does own me, the Visitors in this chapter, the dress I wear, and the plot.

All the Visitors are in pairs, or groups. No one is alone. Heart decorations of many colors litter the trees in the Dream Gates. The boys and girls are a flutter and more active than usual. And a heavy smell of chocolate lingers in the air. Starlight sits in a tree watching the festivities.
It is Valentines day in the Visitor's world. Starlight has read a book about holidays in the Visitor's World and knows more about Visitor's celebrations. Apparently Valentines is a holiday about love and giving gifts to prove their love. Starlight doesn't quite get it.
If you love someone, isn't it enough to say "I love you" and stay with them? Why give gifts? Shouldn't just talking with them and being with them make them happy? Starlight thinks to herself as she looks at the Visitors.
Someone taps on Starlight's shoulder and Starlight turns around. "Good evening, Starlight." A purple being with blue eyes smiles at the green being.
"Good evening, NiGHTS." Starlight says with a smile and a small laugh.
"What was with the look just now?" NiGHTS asks, puzzled by the stare Starlight was giving the Visitors.
"I was think of the Visitor's holiday, Valentines." Starlight says.
"And?" NiGHTS persuades Starlight to explain more.
"I was wondering why do they give gifts." Starlight says.
"They give gifts to show their love for each other." NiGHTS says. NiGHTS is about to continue and pull something from his pocket before Starlight speaks again.
"But I don't get it." Starlight says stopping NiGHTS. "Shouldn't they just say they love them and stay with them?"
"Some do that but others do this because its nice to receive gifts from people you love." NiGHTS says this trying to answer Starlight's questions.
"Starlight!" One the young Visitors Starlight looks after shouts after coming though the dream gates.
"I think your being called." NiGHTS says with small chuckle.
"See you another time, NiGHTS." Starlight says to NiGHTS with a wave and flies to the Visitor.
"There you are Starlight." The young girl nearly shouts in excitement with her hands behind her back.
"Hello Sally." Starlight says to the young girl. "What's that you got behind you back?" Starlight leans over to look behind Sally.
"It's a Valentines," Sally says and pulls her hands out from behind her back to show a big heart made of red paper with candy hearts taped to it. "for you." Starlight takes the heart Sally gives her and sees 'happy Valintimes 2 Strlit' written on it. Sally is only 5 years old.
"Thank you Sally." Starlight smiles at Sally.
Sally stretches her arms up, asking to be pick up. Starlight smiles and bends down to pick Sally up in a hug. The young Visitor giggles happily with a squeal when Starlight hugs her. Starlight giggles too and makes sure she doesn't crumple the heart Sally gave her.
"Oh yeah can we wait here?" Sally asks looking up at Starlight. "I'm sure the others will be here soon and I'm sure they got something for you too."
Starlight looks at Sally with a confused look but nods. "Sure. We can wait for the others." Starlight flies over to the fountain and sits down with Sally in her lap.
Sally and Starlight wait for a couple of minutes and talk about the heart Sally made. While they talk, teen Visitors walk up to the two and give Starlight colorful boxes with ribbons as valentines. Starlight accepts theses and thanks them. After about 15 minutes of talking, the other children Starlight looks after arrive. They all rush over to Starlight and Sally. They also give Starlight valentines too. Starlight thanks them all and gets up with Sally in her arms and takes them to Delight City.
The children play happily together. Starlight watches over the kids and plays a few games with them. It is normal night for Starlight considering it is holiday. Starlight notices that there are more teenage Visitors here than usual. Right now they are in a tickle fight and Starlight is losing.
"Hey Starlight." A teenage girl stands in front of the group. The kids stop tickling Starlight and Starlight looks up to see the teenage Visitor. She is holding hands with a male Visitor. "We were wondering if you can sing a love song?"
"I can." Starlight says looking up at the Visitors from the ground.
"Can you please sing one?" She asks.
"I want to hear Starlight sing again." One the kids that are on Starlight says. The other kids shout in agreement.
"Very well." Starlight says. She can't refuse little kids when they ask her for something.
The children get off Starlight and Starlight get up. Starlight flies up in the air above them all. Starlight goes though the list of songs in head that sound romantic. Starlight picks a song to sing, clears her voice and sings.

Starlight finishes the song. The Visitors clap for Starlight's singing. Starlight bows in reply to their applause. Starlight returns to the ground and the young Visitors run up to her.
"That was amazing Starlight." Sally says, grabbing Starlight's leg.
"What do the words in the song mean?" Tommy, another little Visitor Starlight looks after, asks.
"I don't know. I like the melody though." Starlight says, thinking about the lyrics a bit. But she forgets about it when another Visitor grabs her leg. "Why don't we play in Lost Park?" Starlight suggests. The children nod their heads in agreement, others say okay.

NiGHTS flies around Memory Forest, looking quite flustered.
NiGHTS planned on giving Starlight a valentines. But the young Visitor, Sally, called to Starlight and Starlight lifted before NiGHTS could give Starlight his valentines. NiGHTS saw Sally give Starlight her valentines and Starlight was very happy. NiGHTS left soon after that. NiGHTS wanted to give Starlight his present. NiGHTS will not admit that he was jealous of the young Visitor making her happy by giving a gift before him or least phase it that way.
But now NiGHTS is more nervous of giving his valentines to Starlight now. Ironic being he has the ideya shard of courage. Never is NiGHTS nervous. Never is NiGHTS scared. Never has NiGHTS felt so self-conscious.
How can this strange lime green being make him act so? An image of the same being crosses NiGHTS' mind. NiGHTS feels his heart beat loudly and a warm fuzzy feeling. NiGHTS remembers her kind smile, her cute giggle, her soft voice, her melodic singing, and her warm personality. NiGHTS sighs with his cheeks a light pink. For some unknown reason to NiGHTS, he feels embarrassed. As NiGHTS looks around and sees that Starlight is not with him, he feels alone. NiGHTS sighs again and leaves to look for Starlight.

Starlight sits on a branch on the huge tree sprouting from the lake. All the young Visitors she was playing with suddenly vanished. They all must have awake up in their own world. Nightmaren can't make Visitors suddenly disappear without taking their all ideya and Starlight didn't see or sense any nightmarens. All the Visitors she was with live close together. Hopefully nothing bad has happen to them.
Starlight sighs to herself. 'Sitting here isn't going to do me any good.' Starlight thinks to herself, upset at herself for moping. 'I'll just sing since I have nothing else to do. Since it's Valentines I'll sing another love song.' Starlight thinks to herself. She picks one she's heard a couple days ago. Starlight stands up in the air, composes herself again, and opens her mouth.

Starlight breathes happily after finishing the song. Soon after the song she feels... different. Cooler. Starlight looks down to check her blue diamond and her eye's become very wide at what she sees.
Starlight is in a long dark red dress with white sleeves. Pink silk wraps around her hips. Pink and white ribbons are stitched into the hem of the dress. Pink gloves that go up mid-way on her upper arm. Starlight lifts her dress up to see matching dark red high heels. Her hat is gone and there is a pink silk ribbon that ties her hair back. Starlight's blue diamond is fine.
Starlight is completely shocked by this new change in attire. 'I need to find NiGHTS.' Starlight thinks and leaves in a hurry to find the purple being. Her hands clung to her dress making sure no one can see up it from the ground.
She starts to shout NiGHTS' name, hoping he will hear her. Starlight leaves Lost Park and is standing in the Dream Gates panting. She is so scared. She cries out Owl's and NiGHTS' name again. Starlight's voice starts to hurt.
"What's wrong with you?"
Starlight whirls around, her dress giving a 'whoosh' sound, to face whoever said this. Starlight sees the last person she wanted see. If her eye's can get any bigger they would.
"Reala..." Starlight says in harsh tone.
"Long time no see." Reala says and flies closer to Starlight. Starlight walks backwards as Reala gets closer. Reala stops when he sees Starlight backs way from him. Reala looks Starlight up and down. "Nice dress." He comments with a cruel smile.
Starlight is still panting. She calls out for NiGHTS and Owl again. Starlight feels dizzy and her vision becomes hazy. Reala stops her and holds her to keep Starlight from falling. Starlight shouts louder.
"Stop that!" Reala shouts at her. Starlight continues to shout. "If you don't stop you're going to have a panic attack."
Starlight stops shouting and breathes harder. Reala leads her to the fountain and sits her down. Reala sits down besides her. Reala waits for Starlight's breathing to become less harsh before he speaks again.
"Why were you screaming out for NiGHTS and Owl?" Reala asks, making Starlight look him in the eye.
"I need to talk with them." Starlight says, her breath still uneven.
It is silent for a long time. Starlight doesn't want to talk to Reala since the last few times she ran into him. Reala doesn't want to leave Starlight until he knows she is fine. The silence nags at Starlight. A thought comes her to mind after Reala sits her down. The thought nags at Starlight and she can't take it anymore.
"Reala." Starlight says to get Reala's attention. Reala looks at Starlight. "Do nightmaren's clothes ever suddenly change and its not on purpose?"
Reala looks at her questionable but answers, "No, that's never happen."
Starlight nods and looks down at her dress. Reala gives Starlight a puzzled look and glances at her and her dress.
"Wait a minute, do mean that dress just suddenly replace your other clothes?" Reala asks, pointing at Starlight's red dress.
"Yes." Starlight says, not looking Reala in the eye.
Reala doesn't say anything. It becomes quiet again between the two. Starlight faces away from Reala, holding her hands together in her lap. Reala tries to comprehend what Starlight has said, taking a few glances at Starlight. Reala isn't lying when he comment her on her dress. Starlight looks beautiful.
"Why are you here?" Starlight asks, already knowing the answer.
"To scare Visitors and take their ideya." Reala answers like it's common knowledge.
"Well there's none here so you can go back to Nightmare." Starlight says still not facing Reala.
Reala knows that there's no Visitors here. He saw that when he got here. Reala was about to leave until he saw Starlight bolt out of one of the Nightopias and screaming for NiGHTS and Owl. He wanted to see what was making her act so and possibly tease her. When Reala saw Starlight breathing so hard and kept shouting for NiGHTS and Owl after he revealed himself, he thought she going to have a panic attack. Reala planned on staying with Starlight until she calm down and stop breathing so hard. Now Starlight is calm down completely and isn't at risk of having a panic attack anymore. So why is he here?
Actually he better leave before his twin brother gets back thus starting another fight with NiGHTS for being close to Starlight. Reala gets up from the fountain. He takes a few steps in the air but before he leaves... Reala turns back to Starlight. Reala takes her hand and gives a chaste kiss. Starlight blushes at this.
"Happy Valentines." Reala says, looking Starlight straight in the eyes as he says this.
Reala leaves and goes back to Nightmare. Thus leaving Starlight alone again. Starlight looks at the hand Reala kissed. Starlight wipes her hand on her dress, not liking Reala's lips on her, even though she's wearing gloves. Starlight waits for Owl or NiGHTS. While she waits Starlight turns around to look at her reflection in the water. Starlight is glad that she isn't wearing make-up. She also starts to get a little bored and pulls out her invisible harp and plays a tune.

Starlight sings along with her harp. A thing she does often. She does this to help her play better and she really likes to sing while she plays.
"Great dress."
Starlight stops playing and looks up to see NiGHTS with a smile.
"NiGHTS." Starlight says cheerfully, "It's good to see you. I need to talk to you."
"Oh." NiGHTS says and floats down to sit next to Starlight. "What is it?"
"Do nightmaren clothes suddenly change?" Starlight asks and quickly adds. "Not on purpose I mean."
NiGHTS looks as surprised as Reala did but NiGHTS thinks about it before answering. "No, I've never heard it happening before."
Starlight hums and nods.
NiGHTS doesn't asks and remembers why he is here. NiGHTS sticks his hands in his pockets and pulls out a small violet box with a red bow on it. He taps Starlight's on her shoulder. Starlight looks at NiGHTS and then sees the box.
"I made you a valentines." NiGHTS says and hands the box. "Happy Valentines."
"Thank you, NiGHTS." Starlight gives NiGHTS a kind smiles that makes him happy. Starlight opens the box and sees a chocolate heart inside. "This will go nice with the others."
"Others?" NiGHTS asks confused.
"Yeah." Starlight summons a sack made of her sparkle dust. Starlight opens the sack up and inside the sack is a ton colorful boxes with bows and ribbons, cute stuff animals holding hearts, boxes of candy hearts, and paper made hearts. "I got lots of valentines from the Visitors."
NiGHTS heart sinks at the sight of the sea of valentines Starlight has.
"I hope I have enough room for them all back home." Starlight says then remembers something. "Actually it's getting late. I better head home." Starlight gets up and off the fountain.
NiGHTS sits on the fountain, dumbfound.
Starlight's eyes light up as she thinks of something. Starlight faces NiGHTS and kisses him on the forehead. "Happy Valentines, NiGHTS." Starlight smiles and goes though the door to her home.
NiGHTS' eyes are big and watches the door even after Starlight left. NiGHTS' face turns a redish color soon after Starlight leaves. NiGHTS reaches up and touches his forehead. 'She makes me feel so strange but in a nice way.' NiGHTS thinks to himself with a big smile.
