Alec POV
Turning quickly I manage to get to the door without a confrontation. No one's following, so far so good. Stepping outside is like a breath of fresh air, sure it's -15 but at least I can run without that smell throwing me off. I need to get a head start, those guys earlier were looking too appreciative of my good looks. I head around the side of the building towards the shed in the back to pick up my stuff. I ditched it there earlier, there's some spare furniture stored inside, and no-one would go in especially in this weather. Lucky for me it looks like no one else has been here since I visited it. Good old normals, can't handle a bit of cold. Swinging my bag onto my back and reaching for my other a hand lands on my shoulder and I'm pretty sure I can hear six other guys outside. Damn how did I not notice them? Guess I'm still not fully recovered yet, looks like my plan to slip away is out. Guess I'll just have to hitch a ride with these guys.
Making sure to jump I spin around and land on the floor, got to look pathetic so they'll underestimate me. "Hey darlin', what you doin' all 'lone out here?" he croons to me as his hand travels to cup my face, leaning over me as his other grabs the bag I was previously reaching for. The other guys start to walk in and my eyes travel to them "a pretty thing like you shouldn' be travlin' 'lone, now me and my boys are feelin' generous like. We're gonna' escort you to come n stay with us". He starts to pull away, one hand with my bag and the other with a sharp grasp on my neck.
He yanks when I don't move, making the side of his jacket pull up. Does he really think I'm gonna go with him? That's just stupid, but then again, travelling with a bunch of normals could help me get past any checkpoint's Lydecker's set up on the roads. But if they think I'm just gonna lie back and take what they dish out they've got another thing coming, "Look pal, I'm thinking we should just go our separate ways, you give me my bag and I'll just be leaving". The guy turns to face me, "That's not the way it'll work boy, you're comin' with us now an' you're gonna be a good boy for us" he smiles at me. I'm not in Manticore anymore, I don't have to follow orders especially orders from this weirdo.
I open my mouth to say just that but I see a gun. Glancing around I see all of them have concealed guns. I stutter my compliance, hopefully maintaining my image of scared, defenceless teenager. I could make a break for it but seven guys with guns is still better odds than that big transgenic in there. Allowing the guy to pull me up I start to move towards the door when I get yanked back harshly, "what theā¦" I trail of when a hand covers my mouth. The guy, I'm gonna call him Dick, pulls my bag off and tosses them both to one of his goons. The goon goes to a truck and chucks them in the back, it's a little beat up and right next to the back door of the bar. It won't be hard to break in, but giving these guys the slip will be a little more challenging.
Dick puts his arm around my shoulders as two of the goons pull out plastic ties, "we're gonna' have so much fun pretty" he whispers in my ear, "but don't worry the boys aint' gonna' get a turn, you're too pretty to share", I push away, screw my bags I can get more supplies later. But as I start to move my vision falters and I collide into a pool table. Damn what's wrong with me? The goons start to laugh and Dick pulls me back by my arm, my knees buckle and he grabs at my waist to steady me before pulling me into his arms. I try to pull away, instinct screaming in my head about the danger I'll be in soon but I can't do anything, my limbs won't listen to me. Dick starts laughing and licks a stripe up my neck before I completely black out.
