Brian the Time Saver

Chapter 5 - A Secret Revealed
A few hours later, Brian had led Josie and the litter back to the puppy farm where he was raised. When they got there, Brian had already introduced Josie to his parents, and had safely returned the litter to them like he promised.
"Are you sure you can't stay, Bradley?" Biscuit asked. "Luke and Betty may need another alpha male like Coco for the farm to help raise litters."
"Nah," Brian shook his head in disagreement. "I think Coco's going to be okay for now. Besides, I'm needed elsewhere, and I'm sure Josie will do okay here."
"But Bradley," Josie began, getting his attention, "what if Luke and Betty don't like me?"
"Don't worry, Josie," Brian assured. "They'll love you, as much as they love any of the female dogs they raise here." He then turned his attention to his younger self. "You be good now, Brian," he said. "One day, you'll grow up to be a good dog, just like your father."
Puppy Brian yipped and kissed his older self on the nose.
Brian then led Josie to the front door of the house.
"You be good, Josie," Brian said. "And remember, a friend in need is a friend indeed."
"Thanks, Bradley," Josie replied.
With that, Brian knocked on the door and rushed off before Luke opened it to see Josie.
"Oh, look who just came to our doorstep, Betty," Luke said with a smile on his face. "It's another dog to raise. I bet she's perfect enough for a breeder."
With that, Luke let Josie inside while Brian hid behind the house.
"I won't forget you, Josie," Brian whispered before getting the return pad out from the backpack and disappearing with it.
Brian returned to find that the interior of the time machine was back to normal.
"Yes!" Brian whispered. "I saved myself from being written out." With that, he got out of the machine, and the laboratory, to the bedroom where Stewie and Vinny were waiting.
"Welcome back, Brian," Vinny greeted. "How was the puppy farm?"
"It was okay," Brian replied. "I had to run into a few things besides save myself from being run over."
"Oh, hey, Brian," Lois said, coming into the bedroom with an envelope. "You have something in the mail today. It's from someone named Luke and Betty."
"Oh," Brian replied as she handed him the letter. "Well, thank you. Wait, did you say 'Brian'?"
"Of course," Lois shrugged. "What else would I address you by? You're one of our family dogs."
As Lois walked off, Brian opened the envelope and read a letter that was inside it.
"Dear Brian," Brian read. "I didn't know when the proper time for me to tell you this would be, so I'd probably tell you right now. Sometime before you left, your father, Coco, had been mating with a dog that came onto our doorstep some time ago, and she conceived a litter of four: one girl and three boys. The oldest is the girl puppy, Carlotta, and she was given to a couple living in Newport, Rhode Island. The second, one of the boys, is named Vincenzo, but we decided to name him 'Vinny' for short, and he was given to an old man in Providence. The third, Vito, was given to a couple in Quahog. The fourth, Donald, whom we named 'Donny' for short, was given to a couple in Portsmouth. Their mother, Josie, had to be given to a shelter so she'd be happier. And about the litter she conceived with your father, Coco, they're you and your litter mates' younger half-siblings. I just hope you can find them and let them know you're their brother. Your owners always, Luke and Betty."
Throughout all of this, Brian raised his eyelids in excitement, and turned his attention to Vinny, who was surprised.
"Brian," Vinny began, shedding tears of joy. "You know what this means? It means that you're my older brother."
"Yeah," Brian replied, also shedding tears of joy, "I guess it does. I have a brother living under the same household." With that, he gave his younger brother a hug.
"Wait a minute," Stewie said. "You mean to tell me that the dog you found in Leo's tiny apartment, and then dropped off in the pet store, was your younger brother, and you didn't know about it until now?"
"Well, yeah," Brian shrugged.
"And I couldn't be any happier," Vinny added. "This is a twist I didn't expect, but in a good way."
"Well, thinking about the time machine in the changed timeline, I think I'm going to upgrade it to make it look like it did then," Stewie said before rushing to his lab.
"You know what, Vin?" Brian began. "Now that I know that you're my younger brother, I guess I could let the rest of the family know."
"Not yet, B," Vinny halted. "I'll be sure they can figure it out in the coming days."
Little did any of them know that a tiny figure wearing a black spy costume and a matching mask was watching.
"Celebrate your victory now, Brian," the spy said in a young girl's voice, "but you, Stewie and Vinny'll be in danger if you don't watch out."
With that, the figure leaped away from the window and landed with a flip on the back of a passing truck.
The End
Author's note: Who is this mysterious young black-clad stranger, and why was she warning the trio in secrecy? I guess we'll just have to find out later this season. In the meantime, congratulations, Brian, on learning that Vinny's your younger brother and everything. Happy National Siblings Day to the both of you.
