Author's Note: Hello. I am tired, but here I am. I feel like crap rn. I know I'm not getting any sleep tonight. Can someone please PM me some How To Train Your Dragon, TMNT, Rise of the Guardians, Frozen, or Big Hero 6 fanfics that they like. If I'm gonna be up all night with a cold/allergies/whatever my body is experiencing, I might as well have some good fanfics to help me survive.

Italics are what Hiro's writing

Disclaimer: I do not own Big Hero 6 or any characters.

Hiro's POV:

My first dream was from 6 nights ago. It was a very scary dream.

"Callaghan's in there…Someone has to help." Tadashi said before running into the fire. His hat landed on the ground. I picked it up. "Tadashi! No!" I screamed. I had to go after him. I took one step towards the building and BOOM! The building exploded, leaving my brother and professor dead.

I had woken up with a cold sweat. When I woke up, I was on the verge of tears. I was never able to make it back to sleep that night.

I closed the journal. I put it in my bag and went to school. When I got there, I asked Honey Lemon if she could read my journal entry and interpret it for me. She kindly said yes. After reading the written version of my nightmare, she pulled me into a hug.

"I think I know the cause of your dream." She said. "This dream was from the night before marking 1 year after the incident where Tadashi died, right?" I nodded my head. "The origin of your dream was very easy to determine. You deep down have what's known as 'Survivor's Guilt'. It's what happens when you and somebody else are in a bad situation together. You make it out perfectly fine, while the other is usually dead or very injured. Your conscience makes you feel bad for being in a better state than they were. Since you survived standing close to the explosion, which Tadashi died, your mind played back the incident as its way of distributing guilt. It wasn't a dream exactly. It was more of an old memory being replayed."

"Oh." I said. I then decided to work on my project for school.

Author's Note: I tried to make it longer, but I'm not feeling very well today. Future chapters will be longer.
