Summary: Two Idol's from different Units meet at the same venue, can Ara convince Add to sing like he used to?

Once the female idol group finished performing, the blackette quickly retreated to her dressing room and sighed. Being a idol took so much work, but she loved it. It made her happy, making others smile with her singing, dancing and energy. "I wonder if I have time for a little nap..." Ara took out her phone, and looked at the clock, "Oh no! I don't!" She ran out her dressing room, but tripped over her feet, and collided heads with someone who was walking.

"Owwwww..." Ara shook her head, "Oh, I'm sorry!" She bowed her head slightly.

Add had just walked out of his dressing room, and was about to meet up with the other guys, when the young girl bumped into him. "Tch..." He brushed his outfit off, before narrowing his eyes and holding a hand out to her. "Just slow down next time..." His gaze wasn't very welcoming, his purple eyes looked her over, before he realized she was one of the performances that just ended. "And watch where your going"

She looked up at who she just bumped into and she realized that he was in the unit that was performing next. "R-Right!" She took his hand and stood up. He was...Handsome a little. And she knew that he was an amazing singer. The idol then looked at him, but not in the eyes, since it slightly scared her. "I-I hope you do well out there!" She then walked off quickly, but forgot her phone, which fell out of her pocket when she bumped into him.

He stared after her, for a few seconds, before spotting her phone on the ground, he picked the orange device up, and was about to call her, but she was already gone. "Just great..." He took a step forward, going to try and find her, but then heard Elsword's annoying voice calling him, and sighed before pocketing the phone and running to meet the others. The were onstage in two minutes, and he was not about to have their Unit be late.

The blackette ran back to Elesis, who was worried about the bump on Ara's head, and Aisha slightly pouting because Ara didn't meet up with them directly after their performance. "I'm alright, everyone really!" But then realized something was missing from her hand, "Oh no, my phone!" But the female unit had to sit in the audience and watch the male unit, before they could leave. "W-What if someone important calls...?" She thought to herself as she sat down between Rena and Eve.

Add could hear the fan girls in the audience scream and cheer as they walked out of stage, Tonight it was only a sub unit with himself and Elsword, much to his annoyance, and Raven and Chung, who would come out after. The song he was performing with him was 'Erase or Zero'. A few seconds later, the song started and they were off. Their moves in sync, and the lyrics reverberating throughout the arena and audience.

"Tsukanda ude mo, mirai no yami mo."

"Kimi no, tonari to, negatta."

"Hajimaru asa ni, kaerenu yoru ni"

"Namida mo, boku mo, nani mo nozosezu ni"

"He's really good..." Ara said softly. Rena agreed, Eve didn't care, Aisha was stating the things that Elsword was doing wrong, Elesis was cheering for her brother, and Lu was too absorbed in her cookies. Luckily for them, they were away from the fangirls. Being close to them was chaotic. Being on the bridge of the song, Add felt a vibration is his pocket, he inwardly cursed, but kept himself going. That girls phone was going off, and the last thing he needed was to screw up on stage. His eyes scanned the crowd, as the last chorus came up, and his voice rang out again with Elswords. He saw the previous group in the crowd, spotting all of them, and lingering on Ara for a few seconds, before completely going back into idol mode and putting everything into the last chorus.

"hajimaru asa ni kaerenu yoru ni"

"namida mo boku mo nanni mo"

"konna bokura wa itsumo doushite"

"kawasu kotoba ni tsumazuki"

"kuzure kowarete hikikae ni umare"

"oshiete"

"wake o imi o"

("He was...Looking at me?") Ara thought to herself as she continued watching. She still had much to learn. Since she is still has many flaws when it came to being a idol. The blackette looked down at her skirt and blushed. Maybe she could learn a thing or two from him, just by watching. So Ara continued to watch him. As the song ended, Elsword threw a few choice words out to the audience as he and Add walked off stage, and Raven and Chung came out. Elsword went to his dressing room, and Add went to his, sitting down and pulling the girls phone out of his pocket. The from screen lit up, displaying 'Missed Call from Ran'. He swiped the screen, almost laughing when she didn't have a passcode. He went into her messages, texting the first person at the top, which happened to be Lu. 'Come Backstage and get your Phone'

Lu heard her phone and saw that Ara texted her. And asked Ara how she managed to do that when she didn't have her phone, "I-I didn't do anything Lu!" Heeding the message, she went backstage alone. Add got up, and opened the door, walking out, and seeing her by the curtains. "Oi!" He called out, she was more clumsy then Elbrat. But he wasn't exactly of the group. He narrowed his eyes, He didn't have time for this...

She heard someone call her, and noticed that, it was the guy who she bumped into earlier? He had her phone? Regardless, she walked up to him, "You have my phone?" Ara asked puzzledly.

He held the device in his hand, and held it up to her. "You dropped it when you ran off so quickly before, and you have a missed call." He sighed. "You really should put a passcode on it."

She took her phone from him and sighed, "R-Right." Hopefully, he didn't snoop too much into her phone. "Thank you for holding on to it for me. And your performance was really good by the way."

"Thanks, Ara." He found her name in her text messages, and he also snuck his own number in there. Looking at her now...she was kind of cute. He shook his head, and shoved the thought out of his head, and turned around. "Don't loose it..."

"I-I won't! It was a accident!" Suddenly, Ara heard Aisha call for her, "Looks like I have to go now. Thank you again." She then ran to the other direction towards her group, "I'm coming!"

Add watched her leave, before hearing Raven call him as well, asking where he was. He walked over, going back to the others. He knew they had to get going, they had another performance a few towns over in Lanox. Surprisingly, the female group had a performance in Lanox, but not on the same day. It was the day after, according to Elesis. Ara nodded her head and looked back at the male group before leaving the venue. The all male Unit was staying in the Hotel, not to far from the coliseum. Add refused to share a room with any of them, so he was in his own room next door to theirs. Their performance was that night, so they decided to book early. He was currently laying down on his bed, messing around with his phone, Till he found the girls number he had saved when's going into her phone.

A few floors up, is where the female unit was staying. However, no one, other than Lu knew that the male unit was also there. Ara was getting changed out her idol costume, as she talked to her brother on the phone. He was a famous idol as well, but was solo idol and in no unit. The blackette admired him, and wants to be like him one day.

Once she hung up the phone, the idol scrolled through her contacts and noticed a number that she didn't know. She was hesitant, but decided to text the number,

'Who is this? o.o'

Add was reading the song list for the performance, when the text notification with Ara's name on it. He held back a smirk. So she found the number he put in her phone. Tapping on it he texted her back.

'Who do you think it is.'

Ara blinked. She didn't understand. The name says "Add," but it didn't ring a bell.

'It says your name is Add. But did we meet before?'

Now he was grinning, he could always lie, and use his stage name.

'You can call me Esper, .'

'You know me? When did we meet?'

Once she hit send, she remembered. Esper? He was part of the male unit! And the one who held onto her phone!

'You're the one who held onto my phone? After I bumped into you?'

Once he got the text, he laughed. He figured she would figure it out.

'You got it, did you put a passcode on your phone yet?'

'I did!'

Was he teasing her over a text message? That made her feel small.

'Why do you have my number, and why do I have yours? o.o'

'I may have snuck onto your contacts before the show started, but I didn't look at anything else.' Add wasn't that stupid to go all out into someone else's phone, especially a girls phone. But damn she was fun to tease.

'Why would you do that?' She didn't quite get it. They hardly knew each other!

'I was bored, you interest me, and your fun to tease, looking forward to your show tomorrow~'

'I am not for you to tease!' This made her upset. But decided to ignore it, 'You watch our shows?'

'Infinity insists that we do, its worth the show. But I wouldn't count that your better then us,' When it came to competiton, that's when Add's dark side came out.

'Watch your step Asura...'

'What? What are you talking about? This is not a competition!' Ara became slightly angry. She did this for other people, not to be better than anyone else.

Add's eyes narrowed, mostly his love for competition came from his constant fights with Elsword. They sometimes had shows where himself, Raven, Elsword and Chung competed with each other. Add and Elsword mostly going head to head at the end. Add did put meaning into his own songs that he wrote himself, but he never sung them at any show's live.

'We'll see'

'It's not! I sing for other's, not myself. My brother does the same!' How was he able to only see it as a competition?

Add just sighed and put his phone down, choosing not to respond. He always used to sing with his mother when he was little, he used to have fun singing. But ever since she passed away a few years ago, Add didn't sing until Elsword, Raven, and Chung needed a new member. He was told that Ciel had gotten hurt on stage, and he wouldn't be able to perform anymore. At first Add had rejected them, but living on his own, he also needed the money to get by, so he eventually accepted. he closed his eyes, and then got up, and walked out the door. He needed to take a walk.

It was late, but since Ara was only going to go walk around the hotel, she didn't mind it. She just walked outside to the pool, sitting on the edge of it. Since it was late, no one was there. "I only want...Is to be able to make people happy with my songs...Just like brother does. I am not against no one." She took off her shoes and placed the tip of her foot in the water. "I sometimes wonder...If I'm doing it right..."

Add had been walking on the other side of the pool by the entrance, with his cat hoodie up. He looked around, before his eyes landed on Ara sitting on the other side of the pool. She reminded him of his mother...She loved to sing and make people happy, but now she wasn't here anymore. He shook his head and kept walking. "Tch...Whatever..." But stopped in his tracks seconds later.

"Mitsumete yo... mitsumenaide...

Kokoro ga sakenderu

Musubarenu unmei ni hikisakareru omoide

Mitsumete yo... mitsumenaide...

Dochira mo watashi na no

Sayonara no Kiss shite kanashimi no kuni e

LOVELESS WORLD..."

Ara sang as she played in with the water with her feet. It was a song that she has been practicing with her group. Luckily no one was around to hear her. Or that is what she thought.

Add stopped, hidden behind the pillars. His face was expressionless as he listened to her sing. He then continued walking, until he was on her side of the pool, standing a few feet behind her. He knew the difference when someone was singing with and with no heart in their voice. But this girls singing...she must really love it...

Ara sighed, gently reaching in and touching the water. "Will I be a good idol someday? Just like brother?" She did not know that he was behind her, since it was dark, and she didn't hear him.

Add let out a quiet breath before speaking. "Yes...you will," He knew of Ran, and was not a big fan of him, but he was an amazing singer.

Ara gasped and turned her head around. Someone heard her? But then she recongnized the voice. "A-Add?"

Add debated walking away but then slowly and silently walked to the edge of the pool, standing a foot away from her, his hands in his jacket pockets.

"W-What are you doing here?" She asked curiously. Why was he at the same hotel as her? More importantly, "I'm guessing you heard me sing?"

"We're doing a late night performance," However it didn't start for another 3 hours. He didn't answer her second question, but he sit down, keeping his legs out of the pool, not wanting to get wet.

"Oh. We perform tomorrow. So now it makes sense that we're in the same hotel." She looked at him and noticed that he was dressed to perform. He looked nice though, "I hope you do well tonight." Her focus then went back to the water.

He glances over at her, and closed his eyes. "Then good luck tomorrow..." He then took a few coins out of his pockets, and started to throw them into the pool, watching them sink until it was too dark to see them anymore.

"Thank you." Before he could take the last one, she took it, and threw it in herself. And it landed on her foot. When it did, she let it sink to the bottom.

Add honestly didn't know what to say to her at this point, but didn't know how else to really start a conversation. "So what are you doing out here, isn't your unit looking for you."

"No, they're all asleep. I couldn't, so I decided to come out here. It feels nice, especially at night." She smiled slightly, "I'm able to think better out here. And it's beautiful. It gives me inspiration."

"Your a strange girl Asura..." He looked up at the sky, the full moon giving off enough light so that they could at least see each other. Well, as much as you could see Add with his cat hood on his head.

"S-Strange? I am?" She looked over to him, slightly puzzled. But then decided to ask about what they talked about earlier, "Why do you think the way you do? About being an idol."

He sighed. "Singing use to be fun for me...but now, I can only use it to get what I need." He knew he wasn't part of his current Idol group, he was just a replacement until their previous member can sing again. "I'll be leaving this unit soon anyway..."

She heard that and blink, "Why? Why are you leaving? You're a very good idol!" And she meant it.

Add slipped his hand down into the water. "Some people only use you for your talents..." He stood up, The wind blowing his hood off. "If I could sing the way I used to, I would have done it by now..."

"No...I don't believe that." She paused before speaking again, "Talent comes from the heart. It doesn't leave." She hated what she heard. Someone shouldn't be used for their talent. "You don't need to. Your unit needs you."

Add scoffed. "Yea?" He walked a bit closer to her, and stood over her. "What do you think is going to happen when their other singer comes back?" He knew very well, they would let him go and Ciel would take his place back.

"A group can have many members. Mine does." She looked up at him, "It's only numbers. As long as the unit can function as one, it shouldn't matter how many there are."

"Tch...Hate to break it to you, but I don't get along with them at all." He turned away from her. He didn't even talk to the others, he would go as far as to say he hated them, especially Elsword. The only one he could probably hold a short conversation with was Raven.

"That is how every unit first starts. They don't get along at first, but after a while, you learn to bond with them. Even if you hate them, you still have a connection." She said as she got up, so she could face him, "You are a good idol. I know this from watching you." Ara said with a blush on her face.

"It doesn't make a difference, the passion that I used to have just is isn't there anymore." He couldn't sing the way he wanted to...not when he couldn't sing with her anymore. He started walking away, he had 2 hours left until the show.

"Wait!" She took his hand, "I know the difference of it being real or fake. It's still in your heart. I've heard stories from my brother, about idols who sing without care. You are not one of those. Even when you say it's not there, it actually is. You have a reason to sing the way you do. And I know you are making someone proud with your voice and talent." She gave another small smile.

Add stood there for a while, until he felt something wet dripping down his face. It wasn't raining. He put a had to his face to wipe it way, and his eyes widened. Was he...crying? He already knew why he was singing...it was for his mother.

Ara saw that he was crying. Even in the darkness, she could tell. Because it was something that she did when she first started being a idol. Crying at night. "Why...Are you crying?"

"I...I don't know..." Add honestly couldn't remember the last time he cried. He hadn't cried since his mother passed away.

"I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to make you cry!" She let go of his hand, and backed away a little bit.

"Whats going on..." The annoying part was...he knew why. He knew his mother wouldn't want him to act like this...She would want him to sing his heart out for her on stage. He took a breath in, and breathed out, before turning to Ara. "No...I should be the one to apologize...for the way I acted..."

"I-It's fine! I'm not upset!" She looked down. The only person she was upset with was herself since she thought she made him cry.

"You see...I used to sing with my mother all the time...but after she died...I didn't sing anymore...or...more like I didn't sing the way I used to with her.." He didn't know why he was telling her this, but while he was telling her, it felt as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

She looked up at him. So that was why. It was a valid reason. But Ara knew the feeling a littlle bit, "Then...Sing as if she were here. As if she was in the audience, watching you do so."

Ara did that, since her brother was never able to show up at any of her performances. But the feeling made her feel considered the thought, he closed his eyes, and saw his mother staring back at him with a smile. Was he really this blind the whole time. he turned and walked over to Ara, and this time, he smiled. "Ara...Thank you."

"Your welcome." She smiled again. The blackette was happy that she was able to open his eyes. She then walked back to the edge of the pool and stared at her reflection. "If you try it, I'm sure it will work. It does for me."

Add's smile turned into a smirk, as he leaned down beside her, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Then I hope to see you tonight" was all he said before walking tords the exit.

When he did that, Ara was a blushing mess. He kissed her cheek!

"S-Sure!"

That ends this one! hope you guys liked it! R&R! :D
