Chapter Eleven - Risks

Edward stared blankly into the night sky, his heart pounding and his mind rushing. It was like he was dying, but being reborn again. He actually had a reason to live again...but if anything were to happen to his brother or the Colonel after he realized that they were still alive...it would be like before, but only worse.

"Edward," Sieza said, looking down at her feet "What're we gonna do now? We can't just go into a Police Station and steal those files. Not only is it risky, but since you're wanted and you have a heavy bounty over your head they kill you."

"I know Sieza. I know."

"Edward, there has to be something we can do! Why can't we just tell Ms. Hawkeye and the others there has to be a wa-!"

"I won't work." Both Sieza and Edward said simultaneously. They glanced at each other and Sieza remained quiet.

"It won't work. As soon as she sees me, she won't let me explain. She'll just kill me."

"But it doesn't sound like her! She would never!" Winry cried.

"Oh yeah," Edward's voice suddenly filled with rage "Well she didn't expect me to kill Mustang and Al now did she?! Look Winry, we're just going to have to do what he says. If he wants those files, we'll just give it to him. But there needs to be a plan…"

"A plan? It's a huge risk. But maybe...just maybe…" Sieza began muttering to herself, drawing the attention of Ed and Winry. They exchanged looks then went back to her.

"Hey Ed?"

"Huh?"

"How would you feel about Winry turning herself in?"

~ Kalahari Police Station ~

Riza barged into the room where Havoc, Ekken, Falman, Fuery, Breda, and Armstrong were working.

"Everyone," Riza said. Her facial expression was very serious but her face was red and eyes were filled with sadness "We need to leave. Now."

"Why would that be...un sir?" Ekken asked.

"Winry Rockbell is here in Kalahari. I received a call from her grandmother just now."

"Well," Armstrong stood from his seat. The others tensed seeing the tall and bulky man prepare for the search "WE MUST FIND HER AT ONCE!"

"Alright then. Muston, Havoc, and Ekken. You all search the West and South part of town. Abyss, Armstrong, and I will search the North and East. Fuery, Falman and Breda please watch the Station. Everyone let's move!"

"Sir!"

Havoc's eyes shifted over to Ekken who was glancing over at him. Something about her...made his heart rush. But he brushed it off. The mission was just too important to be worrying about women!

"I want Winry Rockbell found, Ekken. Make sure you're team is successful if we are not. I'm counting on you." Abyss spoke. Ekken nodded. As for Muston, he simply made a face at her. But Ekken knew not to act out. It was not the place nor time to be falling into Muston's way…

With everything worked out, both teams made their way into the night of Kalahari.

~ Kalahari: Town Streets ~

Sieza looked at her reflection once more in her mirror. "Well this works doesn't it. I should be a professional disguise maker huh?"

Once again the three of them were back at Sieza's house. The plan that Sieza had created was coming along nice. Or so she thought.

"The plan is for me to run in the streets dressed like you, Winry. With your costumes on you can sneak into the police station and get underground to find those papers. After we get the papers back, we'll meet Fukai and save your brother and that Colonel guy? Sound good?"

"Sounds amazing Sieza! Great job!" Winry laughed. Ed nodded in agreement.

"Hey Sieza." Ed said with a gentle smile.

"Huh?"

"I...I want to thank you for everything you've done for me. You've sacrificed so much. All for me, a guy you don't even know. Thank you."

"Ahh, its no problem Edward. Anything to help a fellow Alchemist."

Sieza and Edward shook hands, and with that the plan was about to be executed.

"He will stop you, you'll see."

"Oh will he now? I highly doubt it. She'll kill him before he even makes it to you."

"Hawkeye is smart. She'll see passed your illusion."

"Illusion you say? This is real life. That's why she's so broken. Without you...she doesn't even want to live. Same goes for the boy too."

"Brother..."

"HA! Oh Brother! Brother! You should have seen his face. He was speechless...either way I'll get to see that face again. Just you wait."

I'm so sorry guys! It's been over 3 months hasn't it? School has completely drained me. On top of that I finished my own series which I will soon have a copyright for. Finally, I'm making a game on RPG Maker Ace VX called Soulless Forest. So many things have kept me from writing and finishing. I might have to cancel a few things or pass them onto someone else! But anyway, if I disappear again I'll be back sooner than 3 months. Thanks everyone for the support! (Longer Chapter Next time!)
