Naruto: Amu's Older Brother Chapter 2
Naruto wonder sometimes how he got into these situations, here he was standing in front of the Kiddy King and his little Guardian group with his little sister, Amu. The reason why he was here is to support, Amu and to help her hopefully make some friends.
'But, that Kiddy King better stay away from my Mates and my little Sister!' Naruto thinks with a growl. Naruto was also happy to see another one of his sister's eggs had hatched. Naruto snapped out of his thoughts when the Guardians started to introduce themselves, of course Kiddy King went first.
"I guess we should start with the introductions, I will start," Kiddy King announces, "The Guardians King's Chair: Hotori Tadase. I'm in the fifth grade, like you. My Chara's name is Kiseki," Tadase says starting them off and pointing to the stuck up King looking Chara.
"The Queen's Chair: Nadeshiko Fujisaki. I'm also a fifth-grader. She is Temari," Nadeshiko says as her Chara appears beside her.
"The Ace's Chair: Yaya Yuiki, I'm in the fourth grade. I like anything and everything cute! This is Pepe-chan. Nice to meet you!" Yaya says cheerfully as she points to a baby looking Chara.
"The Jack's Chair: Kukai Soma. I'm a sixth grader. I'm also the Captain of the soccer team. This is Daichi," Kukai says as he points to a sporty looking Chara.
Amu was about to introduce herself, while Naruto decided just too lean back and watch, but was interrupted.
"We know everything about you two, Amu Hinamori-san and Naruto Hinamori-san." Nadeshiko says with a big smile.
"You're actually really shy, how cute!" Yaya says.
"We also know that you're bad with scary stories." Kukai adds.
"We also know your older brother, Naruto goes to the same school as a certain cat." Nadeshiko says. Naruto's eyes get sharper, but he then just shrugs not caring.
'I would love for these brats to try something; especially, that Kiddy King.' Naruto thinks to himself.
"H-How do you know all of that?" Amu demands.
"It's the Guardians' responsibility to look after the students' personal information." Nadeshiko explains.
"Isn't that the same as invading their privacy?!" Amu yells.
"We also know that your Charas are Ran and Miki." Nadeshiko says while looking at Amu and then she turns to Naruto and says.
"And yours are Kyubi, Vergil, Dante, Krad, and Dark." Nadeshiko finishes saying.
-I am skipping the whole Guardian speech-
"We would like you both to join the Guardians to help protect everyone's heart eggs." Tadase asks.
Amu blushes while thinking she could be with the Prince and Naruto just sighs and shakes his head.
"And you guys can Chara Nari, so that will be very useful." Kukai says.
"You are the only ones who can do it after all." Nadeshiko adds.
"B-But I don't know how I did it, so I am not sure if I can to it again." Amu stutters nervously. She then turns to look at Tadase.
"Will you become a Guardian?" Tadase asks with the sparkly background. Naruto waits for Amu's response if she wants to join or not.
"Um…um…No." Amu says firmly at the end. Everyone's shocked except Naruto who laughs at everyone's faces.
"Why not?" Everyone asks.
"I don't really want to wear the Royal Cap." Amu answers. Naruto laughs harder but happens to agree with her.
"The cape." Kukai says shocked.
"That's it." Nadeshiko says also shocked.
"It's important! It's against my fashion style!" Amu says firmly.
"Ha-ha I like you! You pass." Kukai says.
"I told you I am not joining!" Amu says angry.
"No matter what?" Tadase says with the sparkly background again. Amu steps back and grabs Naruto's hand and runs.
"I'm sorry." Amu says as she runs.
"Thanks for having us." Naruto also says as he is dragged away.
"Ha-ha the both of them really are great." Kukai says while laughing.
-Skip to where the Amu and Naruto are-
"Do you think it's a good idea to turn them down?" Ran asks Amu.
"Yes, I am just starting to get friendly with my classmates. If I join the Guardians everything would go downhill with them. I am fine with being normal. Did you want to join Naruto-nii?" Amu answers and asks.
"Nope, I just wanted you to have some friends you can trust. If you do not want to join Kiddy King and his group, then you do not have too." Naruto says warmly. Amu smiles too.
'I have the best big brother in the world.' Amu thinks happily.
"Thank you Naruto-nii for always being there for me." Amu says. Naruto smiles and rubs Amu's head lovingly.
"No problem kiddo. Anytime you need me I'm there. You know that." Naruto explains. Naruto and Amu continue to walk home when they see a kid from Amu's school working on his bar flips.
"He is doing his best." Ran says excited that always comes with people doing sports.
"Yeah, he is." Amu says kind of in awe someone trying so hard. The boy then looked up and yells in surprise.
"Hinamori-sempai!" The boy exclaims in surprise. He then falls off of the bars. Naruto, his Charas, and Amu and her Charas all wince.
"I'm sorry to be such an embarrassment. I'm sorry, Hinamori-sempai." The boy says sadly.
"There's no need to apologize." Amu says.
"I have no right to call myself a fan of "cool and spicy" Amu Hinamori." The boy goes on not really hearing Amu.
"What are you talking about?" Amu asks.
"I mean, I have zero athletic ability. The other kids say I should just accept being a wimp." The boy explains in a sad tone. Amu was shocked and did not know what to say. Naruto watched Amu and thought.
'I could help but I want Amu to grow and learn on her own.' Naruto thinks as he senses one of his coworkers up on the roof of the school.
'Showtime then, huh' Naruto thinks with a sigh.
"I don't think I will be ever be able to reach my dreams." The boy continues.
"Dreams? Like what?" Amu asks curious.
"I want to be at the top of the school's academics. Someday, by becoming a charismatic programmer, I would like to be the boss of my own company. But…" The boy trails off.
"But?" Amu asks encouraging him to continue.
"I decided I'd rather not try for that." The boy finishes. Right after he finished, Naruto could sense his dream egg turn into an X-Egg.
"What!?" Amu yells in shock as the black egg comes out of the boy.
"Is that?" Ran starts.
"An X-Egg!" Miki and Sue finish.
"N-No way!" Amu yells not believing what she is seeing.
"What will you do Amu?" Naruto asks.
"Nii-san, I don't…" Amu trails off. The boy becomes zombie like saying how dreams are useless. This makes Amu mad.
"What's wrong with dreams? If you don't believe in yours dreams, they will disappear! Giving up before you even start is to rash!" Amu yells passionately. The Humpty Lock starts glowing with Amu's passion. Naruto starts adding his power to the locket.
"That's it Amu. Follow your heart." Naruto says proud of his little sister.
"My own heart, unlock!" Amu and Naruto yell. Amu's merges with Ran while Naruto merges with Kyubi.
-Outfits-
Naruto is wearing an orange kimono with a red obi. He wears clog sandals. He also has fox ears and tail with black tips.
Amu is wearing a pink cheerleader outfit. Amu wears her hair in a side ponytail, much as Ran does and has a cheerleading outfit, including a pleated skirt, a pink top and leg warmers over her shoes, all with heart-shaped accessories.
-Back to the Story-
"Chara Nari, Amulet Heart!" Amu declares.
"Chara Nari, Fox King!" Naruto declares.
"N-No way! I changed again." Amu says in shock. Naruto was calm as always. Miki and Sue were in awe while Naruto's Charas were calm just like Naruto. Amu did not know, but Naruto could sense them, that the Guardians had shown up.
"Are you ready, Amu?" Naruto asks.
"I-I don't…" Amu trails off in confusion.
"Can you feel the power building, Amu" Naruto asks as the power from the Humpty Lock was building from both of their powers.
"Yes, I feel it!" Amu answers.
"Negative Heart: Lock On! Open Heart!" Amu and Naruto yell together. The X-Egg was purified and returned to the boy. Amu and Naruto un-transformed.
"We did it!" Ran yells in excitement. Kyubi just nods with a smirk on his face. They then heard applause from behind them. They turn around and see the Guardians behind them.
"Don't tell you guys were watching?" Amu asks worriedly.
"Right on." Kukai says with a thumb up.
"That's a nice Chara Nari!" Yaya yells cheerfully.
"Hinamori-sans, you guys are definitely…" Tadase the Kiddy King says softly.
"N-No it was a mistake!" Amu yells as she takes Naruto's hand and runs off with their Charas right behind them, leaving the Guardians standing there.
"See you again!" Yaya yells while waving her hand.
"She will definitely be the new girl. I don't know about Naruto-san though?" Kukai says with a smirk.
"What should we do, Fujisaki-san?" Tadase asks.
"Of course, we won't let her get away from the Guardians." Nadeshiko says with a smile and a wink.
-At the Hinamori Residents-
"The Chara Naris were awesome!" Ran yells waving her pom-poms up and down. Miki nods her head agreeing. Kyubi was lounging and taking a nap. Miki was drawing him. Miki could not believe how powerful Kyubi was. Vergil and Dante were sparing with each other. Krad and Dark were watching them and thinking about Eru.
"Yes, I agree. I thought you made a cute cheerleader, Amu-Chan." Naruto says teasingly with a warm smile.
"Y-You also made an awesome Fox King, Naruto-niisan." Amu says with a blush on her face. Naruto smiles and his Chara's also smile happy that Naruto could finally talk to his sister about this Chara stuff. Amu looked over to where her last Egg was sitting on her desk.
"I wonder who/what my last Egg will be." Amu wonders out load.
"Who/whatever they are, they will be perfect because they came from you." Naruto says with a warm smile and he leaves to his room to sleep. Amu blushes and she also lies down to get some sleep. They were both wondering what tomorrow will bring them. Whatever it is they will face it together.
-In Naruto's Room.
Naruto's cell phone started to ring. Naruto sits on his bed and takes out his cell.
"Hello?" Naruto answers.
"Today was a bust. That Egg was not the Embryo either." The voice on the other end says.
"Yes, we have to keep looking and working hard." Naruto responds.
"Your right, see you tomorrow boss." The voice says and then hangs up.
"The Embryo, I will have you." Naruto declares with determination. Kyubi, Vergil, Dante, Krad, and Dark all nod theirs too.
