CHAPTER 10

After walking which felt like hours he had made it to the Luthor mansion and immediately was amazed at the size of the place. He checked his watch and it was 7.00pm but also knowing that he had gone directly against his brother's wishes not to get acquainted with the Luthor's.

But after the talk with Lex he realized he was more than able to make his own judgment on the Luthor's in his own way. Also though deep down knew that meeting Lana secretly he felt like somehow that he was betraying Clark knowing that the two of them shared a distant bond that seemed to have emanating from the past. But he was here because Lana offered him help in his predicament of learning to dance nothing more.

Adams thoughts were brushed aside as he saw a tall man in a suit approach him.

"Can I help you sir?" the man asked.

Adam stared at the man for a moment as they were equal in size.

"Errm…I am here to see Lana she told me to come around 7.00"

The man eyes squinted at Adam.

"And your name is?"

"Adam" he responded quickly. However the guard was not amused as he quickly snapped his response.

"Adam what? What is your last name?"

Adam cringed immediately because he still had yet been told what his last name. Kent was yet to be official yet so he remained silent until.

"Adam!" Lana said from behind the guard who turned back.

"Thank you Eric" she nodded to him.

"Mrs Luthor" the guard nodded and returned to his rounds.

Lana smiled as she saw Adams look of confusment.

"Sorry about that, living in a mansion with Lex can be a bit like living in fort knox"

Adam not understanding what fort knox was merely smiled and nodded. Which Clark had told him to do if he didn't understand what someone said to him.

"So…" Lana said with a pout. "Are you ready for your first lesson?"

Adam still a bit nervous and couldn't help it being echoed through his voice.

"I guess so..."

Lana gestured him to a huge room which Adam saw had a fire place which was burning with bright essence and a large glass desk.

"So where's Lex?" Adam spoke realizing he was nowhere in sight knowing also he had a conversation with Lex not a few hours ago.

"He's away on business so it's just me all alone on a Friday night." She said with a seductive tone, to which Adam took an immediate gulp.

Lana walked to the table were a bottle of red wine lay with two glasses.

"Would you like a drink" she said as she picked up the already half empty bottle as she poured into a glass she seemed to already had a drink from.

"It's actually made right here in Smallville from a vineyard which was once hit by the meteor shower." She explained as she slowly took a sip and she took a long look at Adam up and down and he swore he saw a red tint momentarily in her eyes.

"No, not for the moment…I was wondering if we could just…" he said nervously.

Lana just chuckled to herself as she slowly walked up to him making shore that her hips swayed that little bit more than usual as Adam merely swallowed hard.

"Of course we can…" Lana said as there were only millimeters from each other. She picked up a remote on her way to him and hit the play button as the music built up.

"Now Adam put your hand on my waist…" she said very seductively making Adam go a deep shade of red which made him look even more enticing in the Lana's thoughts.

Adam slowly put his hand on her waist trying to hide his nervousness to no avail, as Lana wasted know time to wrap her hands around his neck.

"Now we just sway Adam and let the music be our movement." Lana whispered as she gripped tighter to Adam's tense frame.

Adam and Lana slowly swayed but in his thoughts it just didn't feel right and he couldn't put his finger on it, Lana however interrupted his thoughts.

"You feel just like him" she spoke quietly running her hands down his chest making Adam's crimson shade turn even more.

You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.

She then looked up to his face and saw confusion but it didn't matter to her his confusion will soon be something of the past once she shows him as she slowly leans her face towards his.

"I wonder if you taste like him" she said in a whisper as her lips were about to capture his un-expecting ones.

You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose...you're everything.

Adam's thoughts were jumbled but as her lips were millimeters from hers not sure what Lana was doing but his thought slammed right in front of his focus as he said her name in his mind.

Chloe….

He then slowly backed away from Lana who's eyes were closed and then stumbled forward as she was expecting to be in his arms.

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

"Erm…maybe I will have that drink" Adam said as he quickly made space to them to Lana's frustration. Adam's pulse was racing from Lana's erratic behavior he then grabbed the full filled glass of the red wine and downed the contents all in one go.

At first Adam noticed the fruity taste to the flavor of the drink but then felt something else, a rush of his heartbeat and a tingling sensation all over his body.

His body felt like it had been given a massive charge of energy but not just that in his mind his thoughts were running into overdrive as he felt doors, locks of his subconscious being awakened by the second.

Lana briefly watched Adam's change of posture and for a moment she could of swore she saw Adams eyes change into a deep shade of red before returning to there normal blue coloring.

For a moment Adam merely stood there in silence breathing in and out heavily as Lana approached him from behind.

"Adam are you ok?" she said with a sense of worry but still couldn't resist the urge in her body telling her as she slowly stroked his shoulder.

Adam slowly turned round to her and to her surprise he had a devilish smile in place of the nervous one from before as he spoke.

"I've never felt better" he said in a husky confident tone as he stepped closer to her as he was the one doing the checking her out as he continued.

"Now…where were we?" he said as his lips crashed into hers in a long passionate kiss and she immediately reciprocated putting her hands in his long dark locks. But not 5 seconds into the embrace Adam quickly released and sighed.

"Nah something is not quite right…" he said putting his finger to his lips as he continued.

"Because you look and taste great but…I like it when someone kisses me and doesn't think of someone else" he concluded with a hint of annoyance at the end.

Before Lana knew it Adam had walked out of the library and she was left to gather her thoughts.

With a flash of red in her eyes she felt that urge grew stronger.

"Whoever you are Adam…" she said to no-one unparticular.

"…You will be mine and what Lana Luthor wants, Lana Luthor gets"
