CHAPTER 11

The talon was as normal pretty robust in the final hour before closing. Lois was just adding the 8th and last sugar scoop to her mocha latte and brought Chloe's standard coffee to the table were Chloe was just finishing a conversation on her cell.

"Ok I'll call you if I hear anything but I expect the same in return…Ok…Bye"

Lois sat down on the opposite side of the table and placed the coffee in front of her cousin and noticed that worrying frown that Chloe always got when something was wrong.

"Who was that?" Lois asked taking a sip out of the mug. Chloe took a moment to respond as she held her cup very tightly.

"That was Clark…" she said as she slipped into thought in mid-sentence.

"And…Is Everything Ok?" Lois said in a raised tone making Chloe snap out of her trance.

"Its Adam…Clark hasn't seen him all day" Chloe said in a concerned tone.

"Smallville is worrying to much, Junior is a big boy you know" Lois said to laugh it off, But her cousin was still showing deep concern.

"But…It's not like Adam to just disappear" and plus she knows he's not ready to take on the world on his own just yet she thought to herself.

"True…" Lois replied "Everywhere I see Smallville I see Junior tagging along with him, I swear anyone would think they were brothers." Chloe hided here reaction in her mug.

How right you were Miss Lane.

Lois seemed to notice the door of the talon open unbeknown to her cuz. But what she saw coming into the talon complete shocked her.

Her eyes widened with surprise but realized Chloe was still drinking her coffee and surrounded into the own world. She decided to tease her cousin even though she was still baffled at what she was seeing at the entrance to the talon.

"So Chloe, are you sure it's not just Clark that is worried about Adam?" grabbing Chloe's attention.

The petit blonde snapped in response catching the person at the entrance attention.

"If you are referring to me, of course I am worried I don't want anything to happen to him" Chloe said with slight aggravation.

Lois was trying to not show a smile as the person approached from behind were Chloe was sitting, Lois still had to blink twice to make sure what she was seeing was real. She focused back on her cousin.

"And why is that again" She queried knowing all to well even though Chloe would kill her afterward; this was the only way for Chloe to exit the shyness that she had been trapped in all her life.

"Because I think I'm Falling in Love with him, there I said are you happy now." Chloe blurted out which through Lois completely of guard not expecting her to be that honest.

Lois now realized this may have been a big mistake as she looked behind Chloe. But as she went to say something she was surprised as it wasn't her who broke the awkward silence that seemed to linger.

"Well I sure am" a very smooth voice came from behind her...

Chloe nearly drop her cup as she drank nearly choking as she realized immediately who was behind her.

She slowly turned round in her chair with feared expectation of what she was going to see.

But as her head was staring to the floor as she was afraid to look up she was surprised not to see the farmers boots but to see black engraved biker boots.

She slowly began to look upward to not see the ever so expected blue jeans, but instead black velvet trousers were in there place. And looking up to not find the ever so adorable flannel shirt but instead seeing a black shirt with a symbol of a dragon across the chest region and over the coat was a large trench coat.

Trying to carry on going upward even though his tight shirt against his muscular body drove her crazy, she looked up to his face expecting to see the shy quiet man she was falling in love with. But instead she saw his hair was completely different he had cut it shorter and now had it spiked upwards and also a pair of very stylish sunglasses covering his eyes.

But as he slowly took off the glasses she looked into his eyes and immediately saw a air of confidence in them, a fire that she had never seen before.

"Hi" he said in a low whisper, but Chloe was still in awe at what she was seeing. Noticing Chloe's lack of response Lois decided to reply on her behalf.

"Well hey there Junior, I see you taking the matrix quite literally to the next level"

Adam seemed to pull a chair from the other table and sit on it using the back of the chair as the front so he can lean his arms on.

"Well to be honest Lois…" Adam began with a unusual confident tone that even Lois was surprised by.

"I realized that the farmboy look wasn't going for me and besides…" Adam moving his stare to a already a embarrassed blushing Chloe.

"I needed to show who I really am" ending with a side smirk that made Chloe hide in her coffee mug even more.

Lois however took the opportunity to intervene with her best verbal weapon…sarcasm.

"Whatever you say Morphious" she let out a small giggle. To which any other day would not know how to respond…but today wasn't that day.

"Come on Lois, your not telling me iff there was something about Clark that you would change you wouldn't do it."

Lois looked at him coldly and instantly replied.

"And what is that suppose to mean?"

"I think you know what I mean" He replied and gave her a wink and smiled back to Chloe who couldn't believe what she was seeing unfolding infront of her.

"Err…Lois Erm im gonna take Adam upstairs do you mind giving us a few minutes…alone" Chloe asked pleadingly and Adam smiling at the thought of him and Chloe alone.

"Fine whatever I'm going out for a little while" Lois said giving Adam daggers on her way out.

"Hey Lois…" Adam said as she was near the door. "Tell Clark don't wait up"

Chloe tried to hide her gasp and Lois for the first time in along time was speechless as she left the talon with a loud bang of the doors.

Before Adam could say anything Chloe even her tiny frame had grabbed him by his arm and dragged him up the stairs. Before he knew it they were in Chloe's apartment.

Adam smiled as Chloe threw her bags on the couch.

"I thought she was never going to leave" he said approaching her slowly as he took everything he saw. His temptation to use his x-ray was very high but that would spoil the things to come he thought.

Chloe turned round with a embarrassment and annoyance written on her face as she approached him with her arms folded.

"Just what the hell are you doing?" she said in an outburst.

"What?" he said more as a statement not a question.

"You leave the Kent farm without telling anybody you have Clark and Mrs Kent worried sick were you where…" And that's when Chloe takes him in as she continues.

"All so you can go out to change your…appearance" her last word was more of a whisper, Adam now decided it was his turn to talk.

"Do you like it?" he asked in very low husky tone that made Chloe tingle inside at how hot he sounded in that moment but she had to resist.

"That's not the point, the point is…" but he immediately intervened.

"No Chlo it is" he said with so much desire and determination that she knew he was being very truthful and the way he called her Chlo was so adorable and it made her heart melt for him. Chloe slowly smiled at him and whispered her reply.

"Yes…" hoping he wouldn't here but his smile on his face knowing that his super hearing had picked it up.

She realized this was to good to be true.

"Whats going on Adam? You are not yourself?"

Adam stepped closer to her and said very calmly.

"That's the point Chloe for the first time I am myself I can say what I want to say be who I want to be…feel what I can clearly feel" he gently grazed his fingertip across her crossed arm. She couldn't believe the gentlest of touches from him could send her heart to race. But she knew this wasn't right there was something that always made her dreams not become a reality.

She unfolded her arms and reached for his chest and slowly rising up Adam smiled he felt his body come to life with her intimate contact. But he soon realized she was trying to feel for something.

"What are you doing?" he asked finding it quite funny.

"Were is it Adam?"

"Where's what?"

"The Kryptonite" she barked out.

Adam studied her for a moment but stopped her hand from moving and enveloped it into his.

"Erm…Chlo I know I'm the new kid on the block but I think your forgetting Kryptonian…That green rock can hurt me" he said jokingly

"Im not talking about green Kryptonite…" she said annoyingly more the fact she still couldn't believe this was her Adam she was talking to. He wait she thought did I just call him her Adam she said in a moment of thought, but she quickly shook out of it and concluded.

"We're talking about Red Kryptonite here"

"Red Kryptonite?"

"Yes Adam…Wait has Clark not told you about red kryptonite?"

Adam merely side and turned away from her and let a low growl of frustration and Chloe didn't see the flash of red eclipse his eyes for a split second.

"Yet again my brother seems to be doing his best to still hide important secrets from me"

Chloe stepped closer to him.

"Its not like that, he just wants you to be safe you are the only true kryptonian family he has left and that goes both ways…" she said trying to reassuring him. He slowly looked at her before he replied.

"Safe? Chloe I am indestructible how the HELL does Clark think he can keep me safe"

Chloe jumped at Adams sudden outburst. But he slowly realized what he just did.

"I'm sorry…" He said placing his hands on her upper arms.

"…I didn't mean to snap at you it's not your fault" he said with a smile he slowly saw the smile of Adam's from when they first met. For a moment he looked at her he could do this forever and like an unlocked door through his mind he realized a revelation.

"…I finally understand" he said in astonishment like he had been given the meaning of life.

"You understand what?" She said curiously but still keeping in mind that she needed to find the Red K. But his intoxicating close presence was making it hard to concentrate.

"…This feeling right here…" he gently guided her hand back to his chest and to his heart.

"Every time I am with you my heart beats so fast and when you're not around that feeling is gone" He said using his thumb to stroke her hand.

"Adam I…" she pleaded but he continued through her whispered protest.

"When I look at you I feel like there is nothing else I want to look at again"
He said with such emotion that Chloe couldn't think was possible.

"Adam please…this isn't right" she said with teary eyes. But he protested by putting his both his hands on either side of her face.

"No Chloe…this is perfect" as he slowly leaned in to her as he whispered as there lips were in dangerously close proximity.

"I love you" as his lips pressed against hers hard catching Chloe by complete surprise and she didn't care as her eyes closed as she felt a rush of adrenalin wash over her body.

Adam reluctantly broke the kiss to realize that Chloe remained still for a moment with her eyes remained closed. But her eyes slowly opened and Adam saw a flash of red crimson in her eyes that showed a complete change in posture it showed her longing and her need for him.

She then slowly revealed a very seductive smile as that sent Adam the message.

"Oh God Adam I love you to!" as she ran and jumped onto him wrapping her legs around his waste and her lips crashed into his with all the urgency that had been built up inside her for so long.

Adam didn't need to think he just acted on instinct as he supported her butt with one hand which made the new found fire in his eyes and his heart burn even stronger than ever as he finally had what he wanted.

He used his other hand to guide through her blond locks as there kisses became more and more passionate as he guided his tongue across her lips begging to gain entrance to her own.

Chloe didn't need to be asked twice as she opened her mouth and allowed all the access that he would ever want as there tongues danced around each other like they were destined to unite.

Adam's desire was radiating of him in waves as the urge the fire in his soul was taking control as he slowly kissed and nibbled down Chloe's soft skin of her neck making her let out a soft moan making Adam open his eyes to realize that in there time of first kissing and making out they had made there way onto Chloe's bed.

Chloe realized this as she and looked up to him as both there eyes flashed red in unison.

"So…What do you want to do now?" she said biting her bottom lip seductively and flexing her hips into his letting him know what she wanted to do.

Adam just lowly growled under his breath as he slowly went to kiss her again when he saw what was hanging on Chloe's dresser cabinet. He looked back to her and leaned into her ear and whispered in a husky voice.

"You know what I want…" he said slowly nibbling at her ear making Chloe purr in satisfaction as she got the message clear until he slowly moved backwards as he smiled.

"But I'm in the mood to party and by the looks of it…" Chloe followed his gaze to see he was looking at her black laced dress that was hung neatly she was debating to wear on there date in 3 days time and they both stared back into each-others eyes as he concluded as he leaned in closer again.

"…it looks like you are to" he said laying a lingering kiss across her lips as he lifted up from the bed and on to her feet.

"You know if this was the normal Chloe she would be trying to find out how you're infected with Red Kryptonite…" she said looking up to him with hunger as he completed her sentence.

"Well let's be thankful my Chlo is here to not let that be a problem" he said in his new found confidence. As she approached her dresser looking at the dark dress that Adam liked and what Adam liked he would get.

You're infected with Red-K!

Her subconscious voice let out in a concern which she slowly shook off as she spoke while she was looking at the mirror putting on some makeup that had been smothered slightly in the intense make-out session with her man of steel.

"Do you think we should tell Clark about are little dilemma…" she let out a gasp as two strong muscular arms enveloped round from her back round her tiny waste slowly lifting her v neck shirt slightly as he slowly made circulars round her belly button as she let out a soft moan of pleasure as he kissed her shoulder.

"Are you sure we want to tell Clark about all this…?" he said as he brushed his nose in her blond locks and smelled the hint of jasmine shampoo that made her even more enticing. She just whispered out a response as he brushed through her hair.

"Clark who?" she said with a teasing smile as she turned round as she kissed him passionately as the two newly found lovers were preparing for night on the town.
