The Metropolis 80s Bar was in full swing as the bars special guests WhiteSnake were performing on the main stage.

And in the front of the stage where the epic duo of Sullivan & Lane cheering on the band as they concluded "Here I Go Again"

Lois screamed out the vocals as Chloe just softly laughed at her cousin's display.
The 2 had decided that no matter what problems that had happened Lois thought it would be best to keep busy and what better way than keeping busy and seeing Lois Lane all-time favorite band performing in front of her eyes.

The song finished and David Coverdale the lead singer of the band than addressed the crowd.

"Ok my friends were going to slow things down for all you lovers out there"

The guitar then created a slow build up and Coverdale then sand into the beat.

I should have known better

Lois then felt a huge tug on her heart as she was hearing one of her all time favorite Whitesnake songs. Chloe could also feel her cousins hesitancy as she realizes the song that was playing.

Wasted days, and sleepless nights

"Erm…Lets go and get a drink Chlo" Lois said flatly as she went to head for the bar.

I find I spend my time

"But Lois this is your favorite song…" Chloe said in confusion.

"I just don't believe in this song anymore Chlo..." Lois said with deep sorrow.

Chloe was about to comfort hair when something completely unexpected happened.

"Then maybe you need a reason to believe in it again…" A familiar voice echoed from behind the two girls.

Lois felt her heart skip a beat as she turned to were the voice was coming from.

There he stood in a dark blue dress shirt and black silk trousers as he slowly approached her. He gave Chloe a reassuring squeeze on her arm and Chloe just whispered to him as he past.

"Go get her Clark…"

Clark now stood in-front of Lois as her heart was beating so fast she was afraid it would explode.

"…Smallville…" she said with an newly found fear striding through her voice.

Clark even through his calm posture was as nervous he looked at the beautiful girl before him and for the first time truly in his life he was looking at Lois Lane.

"…Clark…I" she stuttered but a strong secure hand envelope hers as he felt her shaking underneath his grip.

Cos I don't think I can take anymore

"No words Lois…Just dance with me." He said softly as she slowly nodded and followed as with his hand in hers he guided her to the dancefloor where other couples were dancing to the classic melody.

Then there eyes met once more and like a puzzle they fit together perfectly as Clarks hands fit securely around Lois waist and her arms fastened snugly around his neck, as the two swayed gently as the chorus streamed across the room.

Chloe watched as Clark and Lois swayed completely oblivious to anyone else in the floor.

It seems you found your Superman at long last Lois Chloe thought smiling as she was watching the two as Lois lay her head on Clark's shoulder completely at peace as her eyes were closed as Clark's chin rested comfortably on top of her head.

But then an all too familiar envious feelings grew in her stomach as the one sentence now continually ran through her mind.

When will my Superman find me?

Chloe looked over again this time to realize Lois was looking right at her and smiling. Chloe just smiled back happy for her cousin but Lois eyes drifted to the left of her as iff she was trying to grab her cousins attention.

Chloe's was baffled slightly and decided to glance behind her but her breath escaped her quickly as she slowly turned to look at who was now standing nervously infront of her.

I can't stop the feeling

"…Adam?" Chloe said in a whisper as she remained still as did the newly appointed Kent took a huge gulp.

But Adam found what courage he had and slowly stepped towards her and slowly took her in looking her from head to toe.

"Chloe…you…you look beautiful" he said as his voiced cracked under the pressure.

She also looked at his smartly dressed attire which looked the spitting image of Clark.

"You…look good yourself" she said with a long gulp realizing she was not giving her true reaction away.

The two eyes met once more as the previous day washed over both of them knowing this was the first time they had seen each other since then.

Adam found the silence deafening and realized there was still a lot of water beneath the bridge, and he needed to clear the damn before he would burst.

"Chloe…yesterday…I did some terrible things…I was out of control…and I caused so much pain…"

Chloe watched as Adam slipped his hand into hers.

"…but after all I done…the worst feeling I'm left with is knowing I hurt you"

Chloe felt her eyes begin to water as Adam tried to continue as he was speaking through his heart.

"And its killing me…because I never wanted that to happen…because you are the most important person in my life…"

He then caressed her other hand and guided to his chest as he concluded.

"Chloe there is something right there screaming at me every time I'm around you…yesterday I seemed to know what it was…now its all just as confusing as before"

Adam head slowly dipped and Chloe couldn't imagine how much he truly was hurting and in that moment she forgave him because even though Adam Kent didn't know what he was feeling, Chloe Sullivan did and it made her happy knowing that Red-K aside the feelings were still there just buried under layers of life time of loneliness and confusion.

That's when Chloe felt her own courage returning as she squeezed her grip and interlocked her fingers into his and she leaned in closer and said through her own heart.

"Then we will figure out these feelings…together" Adam saw the smile on Chloe's face return as she concluded which he realized in that moment he had forgave him.

Adam couldn't help himself as he took Chloe in his arms and gave her a delicate hug. Which Chloe took In as long as she could, she knew these moments with him were so perfect and special like nothing she felt and she wanted the moments to last for ever.

As the embrace ended Adam then felt a glimmer of confidence as he watched Clark and Lois swaying to the music and wanted to feel that to.

"Chloe…erm…would you like to dance?" Adam said sheepishly.

Chloe was surprised by the request but could never turn down an opportunity to boogie.

"Why Mr. Kent…I thought you would never ask"

They approached the dance floor as they also mimicked Clark and Lois's posture as Adam felt his body temperature rise as he rested his hands on Chloe's tiny waist as she placed her hands on his shoulders as they slowly swayed as the chorus kicked in.

Chloe smiled as she watched Adam completely at peace as he smiled back at her.

"Who ever would have thought that you would be a great dancer" she said with a wide grin.

"Well…Mrs.…I mean my mom says I'm full of surprises" he said correcting himself.

She smiled as she lay her head on his chest and could feel his heartbeat and realized there hearts were beating in unison. But her thoughts were dragged away as she laid her head on his chest she noticed something even more surprising at the direction her head was facing.

"Speaking of surprises…" she nodded her head getting Adam to follow her gaze and Adam also was taken by surprise.

The two watched as they watched the other nervous couple no longer nervous at all. Clark and Lois were now engaged in a passionate kiss as they still swayed to the beat of the music. The kiss was like no other kiss it was not desperate, urgent, fiery it was just delicate but perfect.

Chloe was happy for them they truly had realized there feelings for one another.

Adam and Chloe's gazes went from the kissing couple to themselves.

Chloe could feel the heat rise from her body as Adam glanced nervously down towards her lips which were wet with anticipation.

Chloe could see the look of confusment in his eyes which made her realize what she truly wanted.

"Its ok Adam…" she said sympathetically gripping him tighter as he blinked twice.

Adam looked quickly to Lois and Clark and then back to Chloe and spoke quietly.

"But I thought that is what you want…" he said as he squinted his eyes to make sense but she giggled in return as she leaned in closer and spoke.

"Yes of course I want nothing more than you to kiss me…" she said giving a gentle dig in his shoulder but then she went serious.

"But I want our first kiss to be special…"

"But Chloe, Clark told me I kissed you yesterday…"

"No you never kissed me…I want to be kissed by Adam Kent…when he realizes what's going on in that heart of his" she concluded pointing at his chest.

Adam just smiled knowing that Chloe would wait for him forever iff it were possible as she truly cared about him.

"Thank you Chloe…"

"For what?"

"Just being you" he smiled as he pulled her in closer and rocked gently as the music was ending.

Because Adam Kent realized in that moment the only person he was envious of now….was himself.
