"Silver Linings" Drama/Romance. Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, AnnaLynne McCord. Series The gang comes together for support as the evening turns deadly.

Beverly Hills Hospital:

She lay cradled in his strong arms...barren, desolate, and lifeless.

The gang's footsteps and short murmurs of desperation slit the cool wind as they walked hand in hand through the cruel darkness of the night. Secured safely in his arms, Dixon moved Silver swiftly and rapidly through the front doors of the emergency department of the hospital. Annie and Liam led him to the patient liaison, while Naomi, Navid, Adrianna, Teddy, Ivy, and Max followed quickly from behind.

"Over here!" led Liam.

"We need to put her in an Emergency Room right now, please," Annie pleaded calmly to the receptionist, her voice nervously trembling. "Please."

"I'll call Kelly," added Naomi to Annie.

"What happened?" asked the receptionist, slowly standing up. She quickly phoned a team to come to their aid.

"She just passed out in the bathroom," explained Adrianna uncontrollably, burying herself in Navid's arms. "She didn't wake up after that -"

"Please help her," begged Annie, tears shooting down her tired eyes. "She has cancer...please help her."

A team of five nurses came around the corner while hurling a gurney through the hallway and quickly transferring Silver from Dixon's arms onto the gurney. In less than a minute, the nurses were moving around Silver and prepping her for the Emergency Room.

"Oh my God, Navid!" breathed Adrianna uncontrollably, covering her mouth. The scene was too surreal for her. "Oh my God..."

"I can't be here," murmured Ivy, carefully reminiscing Raj. She began to fade away. "I can't - I can't be here. I'm sorry."

"Can you just please call Dr. Brooks," ordered Teddy firmly to the patient liaison, wiping his tears away with his thumb. "Dr. Brooks is Silver's doctor. She will have all of Silver's medical history and whatever paperwork is needed. She will know what to do."

"Dr. Brooks is not on duty right now," answered the patient liaison. "She's not available at the moment -" Naomi cleared her throat and slammed her hand against the counter, silencing the whole floor.

"I don't give a rat's ass if Dr. Brooks is not available at the moment," hissed Naomi aggressively, tears rolling down her rosy cheeks. "This girl's name is Erin Silver. She is our best friend and you will find a way to get Dr. Brooks down here."

"Naomi," muttered Max, trying to calm her down. Naomi pulled away from Max.

"I don't give a damn what you do, but you will make sure she is breathing after all of this!" added Naomi strongly, her lips shaking. "I will take care of all financial issues, but I need to know that my friend will be alive. Got it?"

"We will try our best," responded the patient liaison. "We will try our best."

Max eventually dragged her away from the receptionist desk and managed to calm her down. The nurses pushed Silver on the gurney down the hallway as the rest of the gang dragged their feet behind. The gurney broke through the double doors into the Emergency Room, and the gang halted as Silver disappeared behind the doors.

"This isn't happening," whispered Navid under his breath. "This can't be happening." Dixon turned around and faced the group.

"Silver will be okay," stated Dixon strongly, breathing heavily. "She's a fighter. I know she's gonna be okay. I just know it." Suddenly, Dixon quickly clenched his chest as he started producing short breaths. He quickly fell to his knees as he clung to his heart.

"Whoa, whoa, Dixon," Navid murmured, catching Dixon.

"Dixon?" muttered Annie worriedly, reaching for her brother. "Dixon!"

"Somebody get some help!" called Liam. "Come on Dixon, get up!"

"Help us!" shrieked Annie helplessly. "Please! Help!" Annie hovered over her collapsed brother. "Dixon!"

Hospital: Chapel

Annie sunk in her seat as she clasped her sweaty palms together in front of the wooden cross. The small flames revealed her weepy eyes and tired face as she lit two candles.

"Please," she murmured. "Please don't take them away from me. Not my best friend. Not my brother. Please."

Liam quietly strolled in through the double doors of the chapel and took a seat next to his fiancé. She gazed up at him with a broken soul. He had nothing to say. Her eyes had said it all. He wrapped his arms around Annie as she rested her head on his chest. Liam planted a soft kiss on her head and caressed her gently.

"My parents are stuck in San Francisco," stated Annie, clearing her throat. "...my dad proposed to my mom, again." Liam smiled and removed strands of hair from her face. "And Dixon doesn't know. He's supposed to know." She began to break down again. "How am I supposed to tell my parents my brother went into cardiac arrest? How?"

"You'll find a way, Annie," responded Liam. "You always do."

"I'm tired of having to, Liam," she confessed. "I'm exhausted. I'm tired. I can't do this by myself anymore."

"You don't have to, Annie," Liam comforted, resting his hand against her warm face. "I'm here. I'm always here."

"I know you are," Annie whispered. "And I feel like I take advantage of that. I'm sorry."

"I love you, Annie," stated Liam. "You've given me more love than I could've ever ask for."

"I don't know what to do," she breathed.

"I'm going to tell you what we're going to do," Liam began, taking her hands. "We're gonna sit here. You and I - together. And we're going to pray and I'm going to put my arms around you. And I'm going to tell you that everything's going to be okay. Because it has to. And we have to believe that it will be okay."

Hospital: Waiting Room

Naomi and Adrianna anxiously sat across from each other. Naomi fiddled with the heavy jewelry on her fingers, while Adrianna rubbed her coffee cup.

"This sucks," spat Naomi.

"This totally sucks," Adrianna agreed.

"Silver and Dixon collapse," Naomi began. "Annie and Liam's wedding preps are screwed, Navid and Teddy are practically hyperventilating over their best friends, Ivy disappeared out of the blue, Max is here acting like he loves me, and -" She caught Adrianna's striking eyes. "...I have no idea how you're doing. I am so sorry. How are you, Ade? It feels like it's been forever." Naomi quickly reached for Adrianna's hands.

"It's been a tough year," answered Adrianna. "I was trapped under the stage with rubble and broke my foot. I was attacked - by a couple of guys from the Cronos Society. Yeah, that was fun. Campbell really got me." Naomi had a confused look on her face. "I had to turn down my music tour, because I was too scared to step foot out of my own house. I lost my job, because Dixon lost Unfaithful Records. And my mom's being really difficult right now."

"Oh Ade," Naomi muttered. "I am so sorry."

"No, no. Don't be sorry," Adrianna whispered, smiling shortly. "But ever since your launch party, this music producer has been constantly calling and emailing me about this opportunity that I have with producing an album and going on tour."

"Well that's good, Ade," said Naomi. "Have you met him? Is he hot?"

"I actually haven't seen him in person," answered Adrianna. "He wanted to meet with me tonight at my house, after Liam's party. He said he couldn't wait and wanted to finalize everything as soon as possible."

"Well what's keeping you?" asked Naomi.

"Silver and Dixon just collapsed," repeated Adrianna. "Annie and Liam's wedding preps are screwed, Navid -"

"They would want you to go, Ade," interjected Naomi. "So go. Put down the damn coffee and go." Naomi pulled Adrianna from her seat and forced her to the elevator.

"Thanks for asking, Naomi," said Adrianna. "It means a lot. You're always taking care of me."

"I love you, Ade," Naomi responded. "Somebody's got to." Adrianna smiled and threw herself on Naomi. Naomi smiled and rested her head against Adrianna. "Now go, before you miss this big shot music producer guy."

"I'm going," laughed Adrianna, stepping in to the elevator. "For the record, Naomi, Max loves you. And you should really start believing it. He's not acting." Naomi smiled hopefully as the elevators closed on Adrianna.

Hospital: Waiting Room

Liam led Annie out of the chapel, while everyone else stood up to meet her. Annie and Naomi fell into each others' arms.

"Annie Wilson?" called Dr. Brooks from behind. Annie and the rest of the gang turned around.

"What's going on, doctor?" asked Annie helplessly.

"Your brother and Erin are going to be okay," informed Dr. Brooks. "They're both recovering in their respective rooms and you're all welcome to visit them. I'll let you know anything more if anything comes up."

"Thank you so much, doctor!" thanked Annie. "Thank you so much!" Annie turned around and leaped into Liam's arms.

Dr. Brooks quietly pulled Teddy aside as the gang breathed a little easier.

"Is there something wrong, Dr. Brooks?" asked Teddy.

"Maybe," responded Dr. Brooks sternly.

"What do you mean?" asked Teddy nervously.

"There were some complications during Silver's check-up," informed Dr. Brooks. "It seems as if the tumor came back."

"You mean she still has cancer?" asked Teddy. "She's been taking her meds. She's been going through radiation therapy. She's doing everything right, doctor, there has to be a mistake."

"We're going to look further into it, Teddy," added Dr. Brooks. "If you would like to extend this message to her immediate family, then that is up to you. I'm sorry, Teddy."

Hospital: Dixon's Room

Navid carefully slipped himself into Dixon's room and nervously took a seat next to Dixon's bed. Navid took slow, deep breaths and watched his best friend lay unconscious on the recovery bed.

"You know they have cheese fries downstairs?" Navid muttered. "I was gonna buy you some but Teddy and Max thought if you ate some you might just collapse again." Navid nervously chuckled. "God, you're such a girl. Just cause Silver passes out - you gotta pass out alongside her. You know I'm never going to let this one go."

Navid took a deep breath once more.

"Enough bullshit, bro, you need to wake up," spat Navid angrily. "The doctors say you have a big heart and I already knew that. I already knew how big your heart is! You didn't have to put on a show and steal Silver's spotlight." Navid reached for Dixon's hands. "Come on Dixon, please wake up. Annie's dying out there, man. She needs you right now. We all do."

Navid wiped away his tears and sat up.

"Fine," he chuckled softly. "Giving me the silent treatment. I know you can hear me so just promise me this: wake up." Navid bit his lips. "Just wake up, Dix. I love you, man. Wake up."

Hospital: Silver's Room

Teddy closed the door silently behind him and brushed away the tears from his red tired face with his hands. He moved over her bedside and examined her entire body.

"Your hair's growing back," muttered Teddy with a smile. "It's a little uneven, but its growing back." He caressed her head with his hand. "You scared me tonight, Silver. I thought I was going to lose you forever." He cried a little more. "I don't know what I would do if next time I do."

He tightly tucked her in her bed and gently traced her beautiful face with his hand.

"I know I don't say it enough," Teddy began. "But I wanna thank you for loving me for me. You were the first person I ever loved. And you loved me back for who I was, even though I couldn't love myself. You made me accept the person I was meant to be all this time. And I don't know where I would be without you in my life." Teddy wept coolly. "You understand me when nobody else does. No matter what happens from this day forward, I am not leaving your side."

Hospital: Waiting Room

"Kelly's still in Montana," informed Naomi to Annie. "She said she'll try to catch a flight as soon as possible."

"And my parents are still in San Francisco," added Annie.

"For what?" asked Naomi.

"My dad proposed to my mother, again," explained Annie. "Tell me again why I didn't tell them about Dixon? Why I lied?"

"Because you don't want the truth to hurt the people you love the most," replied Naomi, looking over at Max. "You think you're protecting your parents by lying to them, but you're really saving the pain for them later. Which is horrible. It makes it easier for you, and it's not right. You need to tell your parents soon. They deserve better."

"I hate it when you're right," Annie mumbled. "I miss them."

Annie and Naomi sat down together on the couch.

"I miss Silver," muttered Naomi. "Like I actually miss her, and she's only over there." Annie gazed at Naomi. "Do you know what I mean?"

"I think so," responded Annie. "Sometimes I forget to miss the people I care about the most, because I know they're there. They're always going to be there and it's harder to miss them, because you know they're not going anywhere." Annie took a deep breath. "But with Silver, we don't know what's going to happen so we miss her more."

Teddy wept silently from across the room.

"And we get angry with the people that we forget to miss," added Navid, his voice breaking. "Because we blame ourselves for not spending enough time with them. Or not laughing enough with them."

"And you just want them to be there," added Max. Naomi slowly looked up at him. "Because you become aware that you can't live another day without them by your side. It eats you up inside like a flesh-eating bacteria that swallows your soul and engulfs your entire world."

"And we long for their touch," added Liam, sitting next to Annie. "Because they complete our world."

"And help us realize who we really are as people," said Teddy. "And together we learned to accept each other for who we are. And we miss that feeling that we get when we're around each other because nobody else can make us feel the way we feel except for us."

"Hey, babe?" called Adrianna over the phone. "You called?"

"Ade?" answered Navid. "Yeah, I did. I got worried when you left."

"I'm fine," responded Adrianna with one hand on the wheel. "I'm on my way home. I'm meeting up with Pete Gold at my house."

"Pete Gold?" asked Navid.

"Yeah," replied Adrianna. "He's the music producer who's been asking about me, remember?"

"Are you going to be fine?" asked Navid.

"Yes, I will be fine," reassured Adrianna. "It's a meeting. I've done this like a billion times. It's actually good that we're meeting tonight, because my mom's not home to pressure me into not signing on another contract cause I may be possibly ruining my life."

"I guess that's good," Navid laughed.

"Yeah, I just wish Dixon was here with me," added Adrianna. "He started this process with me and it feels a little strange for this happening without him here, you know?"

"Yeah," muttered Navid. "If it makes you feel better, Dixon and Silver are recovering right now." Adrianna screamed happily on the phone.

"Should I turn around?" asked Adrianna.

"No, no, baby," interjected Navid. "Go home."

"Well tell them I miss them and that I love them," sang Adrianna. "And I will be back as soon as I'm done with my meeting. Okay, babe, I gotta go. My phone's about to die!"

Hospital: Waiting Room

Annie walked over towards Liam and sat on his lap.

"Are you feeling any better?" asked Liam.

"Yeah," she answered honestly, caressing his face. "Thanks to you." Liam leaned in and kissed her pretty face. "How are you doing?"

"Me?" asked Liam. Annie nodded her head. "I'm okay. I'm a little overwhelmed, but I'll be okay."

"How?" asked Annie. Liam wet his lips and gazed in her eyes.

"Because I have you," answered Liam. "And you remind me every moment that everything's going to be okay. And I believe it. And I believe you."

"You're an amazing man, Liam Court," whispered Annie, leaning against her fiancé.

Hospital:

Naomi and Max sat comfortably across each other on the hospital windowsill.

"Is it true what you said in there?" asked Naomi.

"What?" asked Max, gazing at Naomi.

"That you can't live another day without me?" asked Naomi. Max reached for her hands.

"Every word," responded Max honestly.

"Well you shouldn't have," grunted Naomi, shutting her eyes. Max was lost. "Because I don't want to believe it. I don't want to fall for you all over again, because it hurts too much." Max wet his lips. "I know how this is going to end, Max."

"It's gonna end with me and you," responded Max. "Max and Naomi. Always and forever."

"How do you know?" asked Naomi.

"Because I will never make the same mistake of leaving you again," answered Max.

"Why do I believe you?" asked Naomi quietly. "Why do I keep getting weak to my knees over you?"

"Because you love me, too," answered Max. "And you know deep in your heart that we should be together. That you feel the same way that I do."

"I love you, Max," confessed Naomi. Max smiled shortly. "But I can't marry you right now. I feel like that scarred me for the rest of my life."

"We don't have to get married right now, Naomi," said Max. "For now, it can just be me and you."

"Just me and you," repeated Naomi.

"Yeah," breathed Max. Naomi gazed out the window. "What are you thinking about?"

"If it's ever possible to be in love the way we used to love each other," answered Naomi.

"And?" asked Max.

"It's possible," whispered Naomi, leaning in for a kiss.

Hospital: Dixon's Room

"Hey little bro," greeted Annie calmly, sniffling.

She pressed her hand against her trembling lips to prevent herself from bursting out into tears. She dragged her feet towards his bed and sat comfortably by his side. She took hold of his warm hands and held them close to her heart.

"I can't believe this is happening again," she wept hysterically. "And I can't help feel that this is all my fault. I am so sorry for everything, Dixon. I am so sorry for putting you in here." Annie cleared her throat. "Well dad finally proposed to mom, again. Haha. I figured you deserve to know that at least. Looks like mom and I are both getting married. And you have to wake up, because you have to be there to walk mom down the aisle and be dad's best man." Annie wept harder. "Please wake up, Dixon."

"Tell mom to wait for me at the church," mumbled Dixon. Annie's head shot up slowly.

"Dixon?" muttered Annie in tears.

"You look like hell, sis," mumbled Dixon.

"Oh my God, Dixon!" Annie exhaled, embracing her brother. "Should I call the doctor?"

"No, no, not yet," breathed Dixon quietly. "I want to be alone with you for a while."

"Okay," muttered Annie, grooming her brother.

"Annie," breathed Dixon. "It's not your fault. Stop blaming yourself." Annie nodded her head. "I just have a big heart."

"Don't you ever do that to me ever again, Dixon," threatened Annie. "I will kill you myself if you do." Annie carefully laid her head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I love you, Annie," whispered Dixon. "I just needed to say that. Just in case I forget, again."

Beverly Hills Race Track:

Liam quietly followed Teddy through the stillness of the night.

"What are we doing here, Teddy?" asked Liam.

"I need to feel like the world's a safe place again," answered Teddy. He reached for the chained-fence and began to climb over. "Are you coming or not?"

"Of course I am," answered Liam, jumping the fence.

Liam and Teddy jumped in their own respective race cars and turned on the engine. The wind mightily danced through the hairs on their heads as they swerved and swirled around the race track. For a split moment in time, the world didn't seem as bad as it did. Liam and Teddy screamed at the top of their lungs as they pressed harder on the pedal.

Hospital: Waiting Room

"Has anyone seen Ivy?" asked Navid.

"No," answered Naomi. "Not since she left a while ago."

"Poor Ivy," added Annie. "This place must've reminded her so much of Raj." Naomi reached for her hand. "I don't blame her for leaving."

"Where's Ade?" asked Liam, brushing his hair with his hands.

"She went home to meet up with this music producer," answered Navid.

"What music producer?" asked Dixon tiredly from behind.

"Dixon?" muttered Navid happily. "You're awake!" Everyone around Dixon rushed towards him.

"Who's this guy she's with?" asked Dixon.

"Pete Gold?" Navid replied. "Apparently you guys met him together and he's been asking about her for a while now."

"I don't know any Pete Gold," added Dixon slowly.

"What are you talking about?" asked Navid. Dixon shook his head.

"Oh no," muttered Liam. Everyone turned around and faced him.

"Oh no what?" repeated Navid.

"Campbell used to reserve bars and hotel rooms under the name of Pete Gold," explained Liam. "Pete Gold is Campbell Price."

"No, no, no," mumbled Navid. "That can't be, because that would mean that Adrianna is alone with that bastard at her house." Navid quickly pulled out his phone and dialed for Adrianna.

Adrianna's Residence:

Adrianna parked her car in front of her house and slowly made her way to her front porch. She fiddled in her purse in pursuit for her keys when her cell phone suddenly rang.

"Hello?" answered Adrianna, still searching in her bag. "Navid?"

"Ade!" screamed Navid, startling her. "It's me, it's Navid. Do not get out of your car!" Adrianna suddenly had a worried look on her face. "Whatever you do, do not go home! Campbell is there! He's waiting for you! Don't -" Adrianna's phone had completely died.

Adrianna slowly turned around and found Campbell Price and two other members from the Cronos Society leaning against her car. She nervously smiled as she kept the phone close to her ear.

Hospital: Waiting Room

"Where is she?" asked Naomi nervously, biting the tips of her nail.

"Is she still in her car?" asked Annie, pacing back and forth.

"I'll call 911," mentioned Max, quickly taking out his phone.

"Her phone just died," answered Navid. "I have to go get her. I have to go now."

"We'll go with you," Liam quickly suggested, dragging Teddy alongside.

"Be careful," whispered Annie, grabbing on to Liam's arms. "Please."

"I will," Liam responded, planting a kiss on her forehead. "I promise. I'll be back, Annie."

Adrianna's Residence:

"Alright, mom," Adrianna nervously said over the phone. "I'm here in the front now. Tell dad I'll be inside." The two other members slowly walked towards her as Campbell aggressively grabbed the phone from her hand.

"Do you think I'm stupid? I know you were talking to Navid on the phone," hissed Campbell. She breathed heavily as he pressed his face close to her face. His friends chuckled hysterically behind him. "I know your mom's not home and your dad hasn't been around -"

"He's inside," interjected Adrianna nervously, her voice shaking in despair.

"DON'T LIE TO ME!" spat Campbell angrily. "I hate a liar." Adrianna stood still, petrified at the site of Campbell and the two other boys. Her knees buckled as her palms sweated along her sides.

"We checked," added one of the members.

"No one's home," sang the other member.

"Really, Ade?" laughed Campbell eerily. "Pete Gold? I guess you're as stupid as you sing." Adrianna wet her lips and clenched tightly on to her bag.

"You bastard," gritted Adrianna under her breath.

"Whoa there," mocked Campbell, stepping closer to her face. "I think you should start thinking twice about the things your about to say, Adrianna. I would be careful if I were you."

"No," she muttered bravely. "I would be careful if I were you." She quickly threw a punch to his face, a knee to his groin, and pushed him away to his friends. She quickly turned around and headed to her house.

"Leave her," demanded Campbell, wiping his bloody nose. "She's mine!"

Adrianna rapidly dashed to her front door as she hurriedly searched for her keys in her bag. Campbell sprinted like an Olympian from behind and immediately tackled her on the porch. She quickly reached for her pepper spray and blasted Campbell in the face.

"Get off of me!" she screamed. She anxiously looked over her shoulder and caught a glimpse of the other two making their way towards her. She retrieved her keys and hastily opened the door. She fell on the ground as she struggled to shut the door behind her.

One of the members slipped their hand through the door and attempted to grab Adrianna's hair. Her eyes bulged out of her head as she quickly bit his fingers and slammed the door on his hand.

"Go away!" she yelled once more in fear. She locked the door with her trembling hands and hurriedly crawled upstairs to her bedroom and quickly shut the door behind her. She searched swiftly for Liam's gun in her room, but could not locate it anywhere. "Where are you?" Her heart raced against time as she paced back and forth in her room. She began to shove heavy furniture against the door to prevent them from coming inside. She could hear them banging against the front door, breaking the windows, and tearing down walls.

She hid in the corner of her room, arms braced around her legs.

Navid, Liam, and Teddy speedily drove down the freeway. Liam swerved the car left and right, heavily pushing on the gas pedal. Police cars turned on their sirens and began in pursuit.

"Crap," gritted Navid. "The cops are following us."

"That's a good thing," responded Teddy.

"Yeah," added Liam. "They can follow us to Ade's place."

"If something happens to her," Navid began, sinking in his seat. "I will never forgive myself for it."

"Just keep trying her home phone," suggested Teddy.

"We're almost there," Liam muttered, carefully steering the wheel. "Hold on."

Adrianna's Residence:

Adrianna's phone machine received another call: "OPEN THE DOOR, ADRIANNA! I'M OUTSIDE!" Adrianna frustratingly threw her answering machine at the door. She wept hysterically as she continued to search for the gun.

"Leave me alone!" begged Adrianna, heavy tears rolling down her eyes. "Leave me alone! Please" There was suddenly a loud bang on her door...and then another...then another...then Campbell and his boys broke down the door and crashed into Adrianna. "Help me! Please! Help me!"

Campbell immediately grabbed her by the head and shoved her across the room. Adrianna's body flew to the other side, struggling to get up on all four. She fought back by throwing some jabs and a few hooks, but failed. The two members of the Cronos Society strangled her arms and held her up.

"She's feistier than the last time," mocked one of the members.

"I kind of like it," laughed the other member.

Adrianna spat on Campbell and on the other two men. The two members threw her against the wall and kicked her merciless in her guts. Campbell aggressively slapped her across her face as she slammed her head against the wall once more. He grasped her neck with his hand as he spat on her face.

"Help me!" called Adrianna. "Help!"

"I'm gonna make you pay for what you and your little friends did to me!" Campbell threatened. "To us!"

"I didn't do anything," Adrianna pleaded, tears running down her face. "Please! Somebody help me!"

"You're pathetic," hissed Campbell. "Who's stupid enough to help you? Who's gonna help you know?"

"We are," gritted Liam. Campbell turned over his shoulder and quickly released Adrianna. She fell hard to the ground as Campbell and his boys battled against Navid, Liam, and Teddy.

Punches were thrown, bodies were tossed, and a combination of blood and spit flew around the room. The two other members of the Cronos Society were able to escape by a hair. Campbell, on the other hand, was crawling on the floor, trying to find an escape route.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" yelled Teddy, grabbing Campbell by the neck. Liam quickly grabbed Campbell by the face and threw a hard first across his face.

"You bastard," gritted Liam, punching him once more.

"You hit like Adrianna," mocked Campbell with sly grin painted across his face.

"Good," spat Liam, staring Campbell in the eyes. "I taught her that."

"Never touch my girlfriend, again!" shrieked Navid, wildly shoving him out the window. Campbell's body crashed against the glass window and tumbled out into the front yard.

"Navid," called Adrianna helplessly on the floor. "Navid."

Navid, Liam, and Teddy quickly came to Adrianna's aid as the cops' siren came nearer.

The Beach:

Ivy dragged her feet across the soft, grainy, sand. She held in her arm Raj's remains.

"Why do you do this to me?" she muttered, brushing her long hair back with her hands. Her eyes gathered pools of tears as she bit her thin lips. "Why do you remind me of the pain of losing you all over again. Huh?" She set his cremation case gently on the ground and picked up her surfboard. "Haven't I lost enough? I lost you, didn't I?"

She shut her eyes and felt the wind crash against her body. She listened to the soft cadence of the waves.

"Why Raj?" she whispered in the thin air. "Why me?"

She slowly made her way into the ocean and disappeared in the dark deep waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Hospital: Silver's Room

Annie and Naomi stood nervously next to the window.

"Liam just texted me," muttered Annie. "Ade's fine now. They're bringing her back here."

"Oh thank God," Naomi murmured, hugging Max tightly.

"Are the cops there now?" asked Max.

"They should be," answered Annie, hopeful. "I'm just glad everyone's safe."

000

Dixon held Silver's hand as he sat by her bedside. He caressed her hand over and over again, watching carefully over her.

"Dixon?" muttered Silver, slowly waking up. "Dixon?"

"I'm here," Dixon answered her. "I'm here, Silver." Annie, Naomi, and Max quietly surrounded her recovery bed.

"I had a really bad dream," she whispered to him.

"Well it's over now," added Dixon. "I'm here."

"In my dream, you saved me," she breathed. "You're always saving me."

"Somebody's got to," muttered Dixon with a smile.

"I love you, Dixon," she confessed.

"I love you, too, Silver," he whispered back softly, planting a kiss on her hand. "Everything's going to be okay now."
