Black Baron of Suna Chapter 4: Moving the pieces on the board.
Suna – Shop Near the Underworld – few weeks after the Invasion -
It was a particularly hot Monday the one that found Naruto sitting at his desk while the old woman in front of him kept glaring at him with annoyance clearly showing on her face.
"For the last time, Lady Chiyo, I am not trying to reproduce what the missing-nin Sasori used to do with the dead bodies, I am not creating human puppets," the Boy repeated for what must have been the seventh time in the last twenty minutes.
"The fact remains that whoever tries to attack or don't pay you just disappear without leaving behind a body, and I suspect that you are trying to use them for something," the old lady answered
"I do use their body, that part is true, just not for puppets," Naruto answered rising an hand
"Then for what?" Chiyo asked as her glare intensified
"Adorea? show her please," the boy ordered as the bandaged woman walked in the room
"The famous mummy of your Shop, I presume," she said
"Correctly, Adorea, show her what we do with the organs of those people," Naruto ordered, making the woman remove her bandages to show the various zippers on her body.
"Zippers?" Chiyo said surprised
"It makes retrieving the organs easier, you see, I modified her body so that she can collect organs of any kind without the problem of having the different blood-types enter in conflict, then, while those are inside her body, those organs are 'purified'," the Necromancer answered
"What do you mean with purified?"
"A damaged liver from too much drinking returns sane in just two weeks, an heart that suffered a stroke? a month and it gets reinforced enough to NEVER have that problem again, her empowered cells and immunity system can destroy the 99 percent of viruses and anomalies present on the organs she 'eat', of those organs, half goes to the hospital where the medics checks if they are usable while the other half remains to me for my guards in case I need them or if I need to update my knowledge on the human body," he answered
"She seems a fine woman, how did you turn her?" Chiyo asked interested
"A man paid a shinobi to knock her down so he could 'steal' her organs to survive, when I happened to pass I saw the empty shell she was reduced into, alive just because linked to few machine that shinobi had stolen from an hospital, since I was planning to have someone like her under my service I used her broken body to create my new servant Adorea, the name I made since she was registered only as "A" in the documents that shinobi hold with him," Naruto answered
"And then? what happened?" she asked
"Well, once returned to being able to walk and healthy enough I permitted her a last request before joining me and my Shop,"
"A request? of what kind?"
"Taking back her organs, with the interests of course...that shinobi screamed quite a lot when Adorea swallowed him whole, she just spat out the brain so to stomp on it...she is a vindictive woman," Naruto said smirking, chuckling at Chiyo horrified expression at seeing the mass of tentacles forming Adorea's face.
"It would have been better if you had made puppets out of them," the old woman commented
"They lived empty lives, even if painful, their death brings new life, their organs help both civilians and shinobi to survive mortal wounds and sicknesses, at least in death they finally make a good action,"
"That's terrible, and yet, with those donations people can live longer, but not everyone will accept this,. you know?" she asked
"They can whine all they want, but this is how The Shop Near the Underworld works, there are rules that I dictated the first time I opened my door to everyone who seek me and my help, as long as they respect the rules they will have not to worry about me or my retaliations," Naruto said shrugging
"And yet, one day people may try and force you out of Suna," Chiyo said gravely
"Lady Chiyo, the fears and decisions of humans have no meaning for me, I won't leave until I say so, even the Kazekage had to accept this, someone like me only moves when they think is time to leave, never sooner or later that then, remember them this, I have only punished the ones not paying, should they attack me then they will know how it feels to0 join my furniture," Naruto said coldly
"I will tell them, just stay in your Shop and don't bother us," Chiyo said with narrowed eyes
"Soon you will meet again Sasori, old lady...and it won't be on nice terms since his blood will be on YOUR hands, prepare yourself for that as you will be called to kill him once and for all, you won't have a second chance at making him escape out of your own selfish doubts," Naruto commented with a sneer
"What do you..." Chiyo tried asking as Veronica slammed the door on the woman's face, making the whole cave disappear in front of her own eyes.
"Hypocritical hag, she hates the White Fang of Konoha for something he had not a choice about, she let Sasori escape because she can't bring herself to stop him and now she storms here trying to teach me how I should act," Naruto said with a snarl
"Don't mind her, boss! she just tried to make sure you were not a menace for Suna, she just lacked good manners," Anko said grinning
"Last time I checked you too lacked in manners on certain things," Kushina said smirking
"That may be true, but mine is a funny lack of manners!" Anko answered pouting
"That is true, you help animate this place a little, Anko-chan," the blond boy said smiling
"Hell yeah I do!" the woman said in smug pride, the Shop's door opening again to let Temari in
"I take Lady Chiyo pissed you off enough to have you reveal her something nasty out of spite?" she asked
"It is so evident?" Naruto asked with a sheepish expression
"I saw her leave the graveyard with a downcast expression and sad eyes, people usually leave this place like that in two occasion, and you telling them off is one of them," Temari answered
"I am sorry...my temper got the best of me, but at least she may be ready to take a difficult decision in the future thanks to that, or so I hope," the boy said sighing
"We'll work a little on your temper then," the girl said with a gentle smile
"Why you are here by the way? by your expression it seems like you have something important to tell me, you said it was urgent when you used your candle," Naruto asked
"Yes, it is pretty important, a message with the Royal Seal for Baron Shi came from the Capital, apparently the Wind Daimyo wishes to speak with you as soon as possible," Temari answered nodding
"I am surprised he waited this much to accept my request, I thought he would have called me sooner," Naruto said nodding getting up from his desk
"Apparently he was curious about what you wanted to talk about, having Baron Shi move outside of Suna in person is not something that happens everyday" the girl answered smirking
"It's not my fault if this village is full of people that apparently need to have me holding their hand and telling them everything will be okay every time they have a problem" the boy answered motioning her to follow down an hidden stair
"Tell it to our 'Kazekage'! voices are that he is so poorly-prepared that he will more likely end up coming here every day to ask for suggestions," Temari said shaking her head
"I'll suggest to have Sahara start training in taking the position, her being more stable should help people accept her, the fact she killed a Sannin and was a key factor in defeating Oto will also help" he said
"Try to suggest that as well when you will see our Daimyo then, his backing will have a lot of weight too on the matter" Temari said watching him open the door of his 'laboratory'
"I have a wider plan in mind, but I'll see what I can do, unfortunately, I fear that from now on I'll be forced to show my face, last time he was too worried about his daughter to care, but they can't let a masked man enter there and go near the Royal Family unchecked, they'll force me to reveal myself for security reasons" Naruto explained nearing a long metallic table with what was apparently a corpse covered by a wide white sheet.
"That's no good, your description will leak and reach Konoha and reveal your true identity" Temari said worried
"That's the reason why from now on I'll use this body to meet the Daimyo and when dealing with my customers, for all those people THIS will be the face of Baron Shi" Naruto answered removing part of the sheet to show the body of a tall and imposing young man with a chiseled handsome face, a small goatee and a faint shadow under his eyes and dark blue waist-long hair, the whole body was covered in stitches with an X-shaped one across his face.
All in all he resembled the probable father of Veronica.
"Who is he?" Temari asked curious
"Something I 'built' using some parts I borrowed from this or that bandit, this is the body I will 'pilot' from now on when I am not Naruto" the boy answered checking the arms and legs of the body
"You can posses bodies?" she asked
"I can manipulate the motor skill of dead and undead beings when not actively summoning their spirits in battle, usually I can do that by maintaining them in my line of sight, but recently I discovered an alternative way that works wonderfully with corpses and living beings that have not a stronger Will than me" the boy answered taking a chair and sitting near the body.
"Which is?"
"Simple, I just do this" he answered leaning his head back and opening his mouth, from there a purple flame shot-out before placidly floating in front of Temari's face
"That-that-that..." the girl said pointing at him with a shaking finger
"My soul, it's just detached from my body and can leave it freely whenever I want, Samedi did this to prevent me from being killed and/or sealed away, contrary to normal techniques that force souls out leaving them defenceless and at people's mercy, my spirit is free and can't be contained, should one try to seal me or tear out my soul I will just slip through their fingers like water since I already know how to move in this form, nice isn't it?" the little spirit said with an amused chuckle
THUD!
"Ah! She fainted...how boringly predictable," Naruto said with a bored sigh while entering the new body.
Several Minutes later -
"Uuugh!" Temari moaned waking up
"Good morning, I am about to go, need something from the Capital?" a masculine deep voice asked curious
"Naruto?" the girl asked
"Call me Baron Shi when I am like this, does this body suits me?" he asked with a wide smile, removing the hood of his cloak to show his purple eyes and pierced ears, his right ear sporting gold stud in the lobe and two black studs in the scapha and in his left ear a single small gauge plug from which dangled a black chain that attached to a clasp worn on the helix of the same ear, both thumbs had the nails painted black and were sporting a ring with a grinning skull on it.
"Yeah..." she said nodding dumbly "But I prefer the original," the girl then said
"That's good to hear, I like you too," Baron Shi answered chuckling and kissing her forehead making her blush
"We are ready to leave whenever you want, Master," Veronica said bowing
"Good, let's go, I want to resolve this as soon as possible," he answered nodding
"Do not rush, my son, we will succeed," Kushina said as she and Minato flanked his sides with Veronica and Anko covering the back
"Of that I have no doubts," Baron Shi answered nodding
Wind Country Capital – Daimyo Palace – 'Garden' -
The Palace of the Wind Daimyo stood tall in the middle of the Wind Capital shining under the rays of the sun and literally shadowing great part of the surrounding houses with its imposing height.
On one of the various balconies of the palace, hidden behind the solid rock of the walls there was an enormous room filled with plants and small artificial lakes mimicking a luscious garden for the Royal Family to appreciate, even the floor was covered in grass.
The sole view of the room had Naruto bite down a frown at the sheer waste of water the whole ordeal was implying as small seals at the corners of the room were releasing a small mist of water to keep the temperature and humidity at a bearable level to help the plants and the ones in there not feel the excessive heat of the desert regions they were in.
"Weak in body as in mind...disgusting, he can't even bear the heat of the very same regions he rules over" the Necromancer muttered in disdain as the richly dressed Lord entered from the main door followed by his wife and children and numerous guards.
"Aah! My dear Baron Shi! A man that I myself have several debts with, to what do I owe this visit that you so much vehemently requested?" the Daimyo asked motioning Naruto to sit with him and his family under a wide gazebo, clapping his hands to have food and drinks being bought to him and the others
"I am surprised that our meeting is being held here in the first place, dear Daimyo, I was told that other than the Throne Room no-one was ever allowed to see the Palace's interiors" Baron Shi answered with a little bow of his head.
"What can I say? I don't like commoners roaming around, but with a man such as you, I am more than willing to share some pleasantries, you helped me a lot and I don't like showing myself like one unable to repay his debts" the man answered with a laugh
"You saved me from both an illness and the plans of a dirty man, I owe you my life and more, Baron Shi-san" the Daimyo's daughter answered with a bow of her head
"I was so worried to see that brute's son near my baby, I too must thank you for your services" the girl's mother said with a wide smile
"Yes, my family owes you a lot, and that is something that bothers me" the son of the Daimyo's said with narrowed eyes
"YUUTO!" the Daimyo said scandalized
"Fufufufu! I don't mind his words, my Lord, he shows a sharp mind and tongue to match, a man as bright as him seems already about to take your place, with all due respect, I would watch my back if I were you" Baron Shi answered with a low cold laugh
"For your information, my dear Baron Shi, I am not going to let a brat usurp me that easily" the Large man said chuckling at his son's offended frown
"I hope so, I can predict his attack if you want me to though"
"Barely here for five minutes and already trying to spill money from us? I didn't know you were so greedy, young man" the Woman said with an half-hearted glare
"I am a businessman, madame, every chance for me is good enough, but...why I don't explain what I am here for in the first place then? I think we poked around the deal enough for now" Baron Shi said with a serious tone of voice
"That is something I am curious about as well, care also to take off your hood and have your bodyguards show themselves? I am not at ease with my family so exposed" the Wind Daimyo said turning serious as well
"Whatever you desire" Naruto said taking off the hood to show the body's face and motioning to Anko and Veronica to come out near him.
"I can finally see your face, Baron Shi...I was imagining you a tad older though, you are what? Thirty?" the man asked
"I am thirty-five, Daimyo-sama, I started my studies of the Dark Arts when I was barely able to walk by myself shall we say, those are my guards Veronica and Anko Mitarashi, the latter an unfortunate 'victim' of the Invasion of Konoha" Baron Shi said as both women bowed to the Daimyo
"Ah, yes! The Invasion, a tragic event that no-one could predict, but why she is a victim? She is not a dead you resurrected I hope" the man said nodding while rich plates and cups were positioned in front of the group, the happy family missing the sneer momentarily flashing on the Necromancer's features at the view of both gold plates and high-class food on them.
"Oh, nonono! You are giving my abilities too much credit! She was just quite literally 'hunted' out of the village for her past affiliation with the Snake Sannin Orochimaru, I merely offered sanctuary to her as a my bodyguard while working at my shop, if you are wondering she is not at knowledge of village secrets due to this same connection with the now dead man" Baron Shi answered
"Pity for that, I admit that I received voices about Suna helping Oto in invading Konoha though, I am elated to see that it was actually the opposite, but what did you wish to ask me by the way? I can barely hold my curiosity at the moment"
"I hate to be the one bringing bad news, Daimyo-sama, but we really do went close at helping Oto, the majority of my clients come to me seeking help in dealing with the crisis we are now facing from the lack of missions reaching our village that is making the populace restless, and while I trust the newly appointed Kazekage to keep everything in check, I couldn't help getting worried and decided to try my luck in asking for help directly to you, my Lord" the young man said with a long sigh escaping him
"Really?! This is outrageous! To think that MY village would try to move behind my back is disgusting! Are you sure of this? Why wasn't I informed?" the Daimyo said in anger
"The late Kazekage seemed to feel 'strangled' by your own decision to let Konoha have the bigger share of missions and planned to show you how Suna was indeed superior to Konoha by destroying it with Oto's help, before coming here I was informed of this from the daughters of the now deceased man, those three girls discovered the Sannin using the Kazekage's identity to infiltrate the village and have both Konoha and Suna weakening or outright destroy each-other in his dream of revenge, Sahara herself managed to have the soldiers see how foolish that plan would have been and had them resonate before killing Orochimaru with her own hands" Nartuo explained calmly
"So Orochimaru poisoned the Kazekage's mind using his hate towards ME to have the help of the village knowing full-well that Suna as a whole would have then been the target of my ire after hearing the truth?" the Daimyo asked incredulous
"Exactly, I came here under Sahara-sama's explicit request, since she knew I was coming here she asked me to bring you Suna's plea to have enough mission to sustain itself" the boy answered
"Isn't she the village's Jinchuuriki?" the Daimyo's wife asked curious
"Yes, she is trying to overcome the initial madness the sealing gave her, but the villagers still fear her, this is just another try she is having at having them stop being scared of her mere presence" Baron Shi answered
"A commendable attachment to Suna, going so far as to move AGAINST her father to protect the ones openly hating her, a strong spirit indeed" the man said nodding
"By how you talk...it seems like you were taking her in consideration for the title of Kazekage, dear Daimyo" the Necromancer said chuckling
"What? Hohohoho! My dear Baron Shi, you say the most entertaining things! She is just a girl, too young to take such responsibilities, sure she is strong and has a Biju sealed inside her, but she still lacks the formal teachings for the charge" the man answered with a loud laugh that shook his belly
"I am glad you found it as funny as I do, my Lord" the other answered laughing as well
"Though later...once older and trained..." the Daimyo muttered deep in thought
"My lord?" Baron Shi asked curious
"Oh? Ah, nothing you should concern yourself with, tell you what...I had the Fire Daimyo talk myself into leaving Konoha take few bothersome missions I thought were below my shinobi to take, but I fear that for once 'Quantity' too mattered just like 'Quality'...I can't risk a revolt in my main village that will make me look like a fool, you brought me and important matter that I was overlooking, tell your Kazekage that things will change and new missions will reach Suna, but then I don't want people whine because they are forced to take boring missions" the Daimyo said moving his nose up
"I'll have them know, Daimyo-sama, as always you show yourself like a magnanimous leader" Baron Shi said bowing deeply
"I do what I can, my dear Baron Shi, I do what I can" the Wind Lord said with a superior smirk
"Before I leave...there are voices about Konoha I hoped you could deny, my lord" Naruto said casually
"Voices about Konoha? Of what kind?" the man asked
"There are people saying that Konoha was considering Tsunade Senju as next Hokage since Sarutobi-sama was wounded deeply during the Invasion, are those voices true? I admit I was curious in meeting the woman myself to compare medical notes since she is one if not THE best Medic around, if she really move to the Leaf I would have been able to easily meet her, can you help me see if this is true, Daimyo-sama?"
"Tsunade Senju? I haven't heard those voices yet myself, that is most curious since she was never seen even in the territory NEAR the Village after the last Shinobi War, for her to take the mantle as Hokage seems almost unthinkable" he answered
"And yet people seemed ready to say that she was already wearing that pointy hat" the other said simply
"Say...do you think to be able to have her join Suna as Kazekage?" the man asked
"Once again you are giving me too much credit, Daimyo-sama, I can read the future with a certain gradient of success and speak to the dead, but we are dealing with a Sannin that act like someone hating Konoha as a whole and yet ready to join them as Hokage, I don't know how much what I say would matter to her" Naruto answered
"Tch! Challenge her then" the Daimyo's son proposed frowning in annoyance
"Pardon? Not to sound disrespectful, but she is a war veteran while I am basically a counselor of sort, I have not a lot of chances to defeat her in an open fight" Baron Shi answered rising his hands
"I was talking about your medical skills, Suna refers to you as 'The Man of Miracles' for your healing people believed to be a step close to die, as for now those are believed to be only rumors, but those should be enough to have Tsunade-san visit the village to see who between you two is the best Medic" the young man explained
"And I should bet with her that if I win she would become our new Kazekage?" Naruto asked uncertain
"Yes"
"While my son's idea is completely wrong in its form" the Daimyo said glaring at the young man for talking out of place
"Part of it it's still good, challenge her, even if I have doubts about you winning, should you succeed Suna will be remarked as the village with the BEST Medic of the Elemental Countries, otherwise, her presence there will be a good enough opening to try and talk her into becoming the new Kazekage, robbing Konoha of a Sannin" he then said
"I'll do my best, Daimyo-sama...but I am afraid it won't be easy"
"As I said, this is more an excuse to have her enter the village, your job is just to keep her busy while one of my trusted man try to convince her of how our village may need her help more than Konoha" the man answered signaling Baron Shi to leave
"I'll do my best, thank you for your invitation, Daimyo-sama" Naruto said bowing
"Now go, I am really busy, tell your village they'll have their missions back"
Outside the palace – half-way towards Suna -
"Worthless pig, showing his power and wealth like a fat peacock as if money had no value, in that room alone I saw being wasted enough water to sustain Suna for a month, I should gutter the bastard and have his useless soul trapped into a painting" Naruto said with a growl
"Calm down, Naruto-kun, he is not worthy of your rage" Kushina said worried
"Did you two find something from your scouting of the palace?" the boy asked
"Without the Chakra Batteries they couldn't sense us so we gave a look around as you asked, other than the usual excess of wealth one can expect from a Daimyo there was nothing interesting" Minato answered
"We copied few Wind and Fire jutsu from their library and few Taijutsu stances for you to learn, but I won't use them too openly to not raise suspects" Kushina added
"Good, this challenge was unexpected, but it will just move my schedule forward a bit since I planned to talk to Tsunade myself, at least I have the Daimyo's support into approaching her...still, I am a little worried all the same, knowledge of Orochimaru or not, it won't be easy facing her in medical knowledge" the boy said sighing
"You can do this, Master! I think you can even beat that woman if you want" Veronica said with conviction
"Thank you, now let's go back, the test-run of this body went well, but I want to return into my original one" Naruto said accelerating towards the village
Suna – Suna Sister's home – Sahara's room – some time later -
The three girls and the boy were sitting in the red-haired girl's room with Sahara sitting on Naruto's lap while he was sitting on her bed, the other twins in front of them on chairs, the boy was back into his original body.
Moving silently towards the door Temari activated few privacy seals making the room shine momentarily blue before returning to her seat and nodding.
"Other than your unmasked disgust for seeing how the Daimyo lived, I take everything was fine?" she then asked curious
"The fool had been talked into letting Konoha take the biggest share of missions because those were 'Below his Village (Suna) to take' it's a wonder the whole Wind Country didn't turn into ruins the day after he succeeded his father" Naruto answered snarling
"I am more worried about you challenging Tsunade, that woman is a famous medic, it won't be easy" Kankuo said
"The Wind Daimyo thinks that he can talk that woman into being our new Kazekage, idiot...I need her to be Hokage and I have every intention to have her accept that position," the blond boy answered
"Why doing that for Konoha? You don't even like that place," Sahara asked while distractingly nibbling on his neck
"As for now Hiruzen Sarutobi is keeping the position as Hokage out of pure stubbornness, the spirits I called reported him dictating everything to his secretary, but this is only a temporary solution, Jiraiya will soon try to convince Tsunade to go back, but with nothing else to say other than "Our sensei is no more able to be the Village Leader" he won't succeed, I need her in that office, one way or another," Naruto answered shaking his head and kissing her forehead.
"But why her, Naruto-kun? Can't someone else take the job?" Kankuo asked
"Someone else...very few people are qualified for the position as Hokage, Mikoto Uchiha is dead, Itachi Uchiha has a good potential, but he had to kill his whole clan and painting a BIG target on his head as result...Jiraiya needs the 'freedom' of his title as Sannin to roam freely and take care of his spy-network, the other Clan Heads will never step forward out of their own beliefs, the Aburame are loyal but at the same time 'neutral', their clan is more insect-like than even them care to admit, they want an Hokage to guide them while they take care of the Hive," he explained
"And the others?" Sahara asked
"The Nara are indubitably smart and their laziness won't be a problem in the job since they know when to be serious and professional, but they also know that the Hokage is the first target when a village is attacked, being in the sidelines let them focus on strategy to better defend the Hokage in charge. The Akimiji are more 'humble', they still don't like the lime-light, even if one day this may change for now no-one of them will propose him/herself for the charge, at the opposite the Hyuuga are too 'prideful', if the strongest and most worthy of them is the Hokage then a weakling will be chosen as Clan Head, that and being a big target as any other Village Leader will put their precious Byakugan at risk, and Kami forbid the probable Hyuuga that is chosen as Hokage decides to brand himself with the Cage Bird Seal to protect the Bloodline, the Branch Family may start thinking they are worth something!" the boy said with a mocking tone when talking about the Hyuuga Clan
"So this leaves out someone as old as Sarutobi-san or an Inuzuka..." Temari said
"Tsume-san would be the first to admit that an Inuzuka clan member is brash, they are a clan of people slaves of their instincts and akin to act before thinking. I need Tsunade, Danzo Shimura was the probable third Hokage at the time Hiruzen was chosen, both of them follows ideals outdated at best and completely fucked-up at worst, both are 'Sons of War' born in times of hardship and christened by a Shinobi War, their heads are set on a military point-of-view, Danzo especially wants a Village where shinobi are only tools without a soul or free-will of any sort, I wouldn't care if he wished to keep that as an exclusive trend of Konoha, but he wants to enlarge his rule on the whole planet, and I don't want that filth here to make my village dirty," he then said
"So Tsunade is the only option, you think she will be different and more modern in her ruling," Temari said
"Exactly, she lost her little brother and the man she loved to Konoha, if she ever takes the mantle she won't make the same mistakes of Hiruzen, the Council or the previous Kages, her being a Medic will help in her focusing on the Human part of being a shinobi and on the inside of the Village before looking outside (possibly for a form of Peace between the various villages), she knows the value of an human life and won't throw them away just to conquer a single meter of territory...I'll just need to remember her that of course," the blond Necromancer said with a smirk
"And how do you plan to do that?" Sahara asked
"Like this," the boy said taking out a sphere of glass with a blueish flame burning inside it
"Did you call, Baron Shi-sama?" a male voice said from inside
"You are Dan, the man Tsunade Senju was in love with, am I right?" Naruto asked
"Yes I am, Baron Shi-sama, what can I do for you?" Dan asked, his face appearing inside the sphere
"I want you to enter Tsunade's dreams and start suggesting her that taking the Hokage position in Konoha is in her best interest, use every convincing argument you have at your disposal, I WANT that woman in the seat of power, I won't admit mistakes," the boy said with an harsh tone
"I'll do my best, but it won't be easy," Dan answered with a grave tone
"I need her, Dan! She is the only one that will focus first on 'mending' the village before looking outside Konoha, I will use that time to focus on the other villages, but I can't do that if the Leader of the Leaf is a power-hungry fool that wishes to move war to everyone in his line of sight and disrupting the already weak equilibrium in this Country," Naruto answered with narrowed eyes.
"I will talk to her, Baron Shi-sama, I won't delude you," the spirit answered with a meek tone
"You better, now go, the sooner you start the more you will talk to her, complete this mission in success and I will see that you two will meet in person a last time," Naruto said making the flame inside the sphere die down and disappear.
"Thank you, Baron Shi-sama," Dan said before leaving
"This is one problem down, but how do you plan to go toe-to-toe with a Legendary Medic if not win outright?" Kankuo asked uncertain
"He will win, the future father of my children is not a weakling!" Sahara said growling, making Naruto blush a little
"Well...I do have a plan," the boy said coughing nervously to recompose himself
"Then out with it!" Temari asked
"Oh, that's easy! I will just..." Naruto started explaining to the growing shock of the three girls
Meanwhile – Konoha – Hidden Base under the Village -
Danzo Shimura was sitting on his desk in the hidden ROOT Base under Konoha, in his ambition in ruling the village he had designed his own study to be a replica of The Hokage office to give him a first impression of being the Village Leader himself.
"You failed again?" Danzo asked glaring at the masked ROOT in front of him in anger
"Yes, Danzo-sama, the candle in Suna refused our requests, at the third attempt my squad was killed until I alone remained, they said that you yourself will need to ask for a meeting if you want to see Baron Shi," the ROOT agent answered
"I have sent SIX of you and yet you failed," Danzo said frowning
"We were ambushed, the guards did not send out chakra, Danzo-sama, our sensors could not feel their presence, those two and that young girl had killed them and left me behind paralyzed," the man answered
"This is not good, I need that man under my command to influence the Kazekage, that poor idiot is completely incapable to guide Suna, having their famous "Baron Shi" suggest him to subdue the village to us would make things easier, from there I'll show to the Daimyo my superiority, that fool of Hiruzen can't hold the position forever, soon he will need to step-down and I will be there waiting," Danzo said
"What are your orders, Danzo-sama?" the ROOT asked
"Keep that man under watch from afar, I want you to capture him at the first occasion that he is with his guard down," the bandaged man ordered
"It will be done," the masked shinobi answered bowing, leaving immediately after to carry on his orders.
"Baron Shi...you have the Yondaime's son with you, I need the two of you for my plans, both your 'Link' with the Dead and your premonitions and the boy's Dead Chakra, you two will be my ticket to success," the man said to himself while walking out of his office, getting ready for another pointless meeting of the Council where he will be forced to hear the worthless old man try to not have the title of Hokage took away from him.
Tanzaku Gai – Bar – several days later -
"Hime, please! If not you DANZO will take the title! You can't really think of leaving the village to him!" Jiraiya pleaded on both hands and knees
"I can't, you baka! I promised myself that I would have stayed as far away as possible from the village, that place took away my brother, the man I loved and the woman I saw like a daughter!" Tsunade yelled kicking him through the bar's wall and outside
"ARGH! And Naruto? What about him?" Jiraiya asked glaring at her while getting up and dusting himself
"You are taking care of him, he will be fine...I don't want to lose him too to the village you want me to guide, making me the one responsible of his death," the woman answered, watching curious as he flinched at that
"We still need a strong Leader that won't turn every shinobi into a puppet!" the Toad Sage said
"Let the bastard go, he is desperate to have you join Konoha, he is ready to tell you every bullshit he can come up with to do that" a skull-masked Tayuya said appearing on the street near the two with Anko, it was hard but the former guard of Orochimaru too in the end joined the Shop Near the Underworld.
"Anko? Then it's true, you joined Suna," Jiraiya said surprised
"No, I joined Baron Shi, I have not an alliance with Suna, if he move away then I will follow him, I have not a Kage giving me orders, since you bastards in Leaf couldn't see past my past affiliation with Orochi-teme I don't see why I should have stayed there to begin with," the Snake Mistress answered from behind her mask
"We are here because the Boss is challenging you," Tayuya said throwing a scroll to Tsunade
"A challenge? In what? In who is the best at telling lies? I know of him, he is either a genius or a monster depending on who you ask, does he really think that he has some form of chance against me?" the woman asked back
"Medical knowledge, two cases perfectly identical, the one to do a better job in the lesser amount of time wins, if you are not a coward we will see you in Suna, otherwise Konoha will have a coward Sannin, scared of being an Hokage and mediocre in medicine, at least Suna will be able to say that WE have the best Medic" Anko answered shrugging
"You are wasting your time, I am not accepting," Tsunade said snarling
"Pity, Naruto-san would have loved to see his Godmother...he said he wished to have the opportunity to spit on her face for never look out for him," Tayuya said smirking
"What did you say?" the woman asked between clenched teeth
"Hime..." Jiraiys tried saying
"SHUT UP! What do you mean with that?" Tsunade asked again
"He is in Suna with Baron Shi-sama, he disappeared the night the sealing was completed, but I guess the Old Fart Hiruzen told you some bullshit about the baby being hidden somewhere safe, he told you that doesn't he?" Tayuya answered laughing
"YOU TOLD ME HE WAS SAFE IN KONOHA!" Tsunade yelled angrily, glaring at Jiraiya
"Sensei told me that everything was under control! I discovered the truth several years later and had since then tried to keep tabs on him so to find an opening and take him back! But whatever trick that Baron Shi uses I can't follow the boy's movement nor inside or outside of Suna!" the Toad Sage answered rapidly
"Why so angry? You never bothered checking if he was well and happy, I can't see why starting now getting worried," Anko said simply
"If I take this challenge...can I see him?" Tsunade asked with a low voice
"See him? To do what? Whine about how fucking tragic your life was?" Tayuya asked back with a sneer
"This is not your business!" Tsunade spat angrily
"Tsunade-sama" the woman's assistant Shizune said with a sad voice
"On that scroll there are the details, you have a week to get ready, once there don't try anything funny with the boy, Baron Shi-sama won't like that," Anko said walking away
"I'll be there," the Slug Princess answered nodding with a determined expression
"Good, we'll have Baron Shi-sama know," Tayuya said, both women disappearing with a shunshin immediately after.
"Tsunade...at least come to Konoha and see if you can help Sarutobi-sensei, the doctors don't know what Orochimaru did before dying, the Hokage's arms seems dead and no amount of healing or medicines can adjust them," Jiraiya asked pleading
"I'll give him a look, but just because as a Medic I am expected to heal people, I want answers while I am there," Tsunade answered
"I can answer at the best of my abilities, but I doubt sensei will be of the same advice," the Toad Sage answered sighing
"He will once I am done with him, in the meantime you will start telling me what happened with the boy WE were supposed to be the guardians of in case something happened to Minato and Kushina!" the woman ordered grabbing Jiraiya by the collar
"It's a long story," he answered looking away
"Then start talking while we go to Konoha, I have a week to prepare for my meeting with that bastard of Baron Shi so I can't waste time with you people and your excuses,"
"You will really do that, Tsunade-sama?" Shizune asked with wide eyes
"It will be my excuse to see Naruto, nothing more and nothing less since for once losing or winning is not important to me," Tsunade answered while marching towards Konoha.
"So you were right, Dan...Jiraiya really came to talk me into becoming Hokage, you said the village needed me to not turn into a living nightmare...maybe that will be what I need to take back Naruto into my life, I'll need to see him before deciding, I just hope I won't be forced to chose between Konoha and my family..." Tsunade thought while Jiraiya started telling everything he knew about what happened to the blond boy since the night the Fox was sealed away, the man inwardly praying to survive the telling with the least amount of broken bones.
Konoha – Council Meeting – The next day -
"We finally know what Baron Shi looks like, our spies had one of the Wind Daimyo's guards describe how he looked," Hiashi said as copies of the picture of Naruto's alternative body went distributed to every other member.
"He is certainly younger than what I thought...you sure you want to accept his challenge?" Hiruzen asked looking at Tsunade, both the old man's arms covered in bandages
"I have my reasons, but I am also curious to see what he is capable of, tomorrow I'll find out," Tsunade answered
"Do you think my arms will heal by the way?" Hiruzen asked hopefully
"I tried my best, we should wait few days and see, but I won't have my hopes go high," the woman said uncaring.
"He has Naruto, you want to see him, don't you?" Jiraiya asked
"Yes" Tsunade answered
"Why? The boy has no more the Kyuubi inside him, he has no more value for us," Danzo asked
"He is still my godson and I WILL see him," the woman said glaring at him before leaving the room
"She was brutal while healing you, isn't she?" Jiraiya asked
"Never thought I could scream that much...it remembered me what my late wife did to me that time I forgot our anniversary," Hiruzen answered with a whimper, making everyone in the room flinch in horror, Danzo included.
"Ouch! Even when I peeped on her she wasn't THAT cruel," Jiraiya muttered surprised
Suna – the next day – day of the medical challenge – Hospital -
The ample operating room had been cleared of every instrument to let the two medics have all the room they may need for their challenge, the whole thing was being followed in Suna by their council and Kazekage while several medics from Konoha accompanied by Jiraiya, Asuma, Inoichi (that will show the whole thing to the Hokage and the other councilors and elders with one of his Clan techniques once back) and few ANBU were acting as witnesses for the Leaf.
"I was surprised to hear that you accepted my invitation, what was the deciding factor?" Naruto asked while in his long-haired body
"You have someone I want to meet living with you, once this is over I want to meet my Godson," Tsunade answered
"You mean Naruto? I thought you didn't care since I never heard of you looking for him, oh well! It's not my problem, should he want I will let you two have your reunion...don't expect it to be tearful though," the Necromancer said with a tint of mocking in his voice
"Just let's start! I am already angry since that man from the Wind Capital kept insisting about me becoming the new Kazekage, I have no time for your games," the Slug Sannin replied scoffing
"Those people have no finesse or subtly, we both know it will be Konoha to have the 'Slug Princess' as its Kage, that's why I am doing this, I need to win so the village will have the illusion of not having lost a valuable asset," the other replied.
"If I join or not Konoha as Hokage is not your business, what about the patients?" Tsunade asked
"You can control both, they are identical cases, I won't cheat to have an easy victory. We'll need to remove the bones that are piercing the lungs and heal the wound after removing the blood in them," Baron Shi said as the two men were moved in the room.
"...It seems legit, how come you had TWO identical cases for us to use?" Tsunade asked curious, checking the patients status in case of tricks or differences.
"Those two refused to pay for my services, both wanted me to help them ensnare the same married woman, since they tried separately to kill me after I told them of the other asking the same thing I decided to use them instead of killing them, after all, two animals such as them are good only for this kind of thing, at least their miserable existence will be useful for something," the adult-masked boy answered simply
"That's inhumane," Shizune commented shivering
"It is? Think about it, they asked me of a way to rape a married woman, a mother of two babies, so to sate their hunger, I would normally just kill people like them that don't even try to hide or lie about WHY they ask me these things, but as I said, I needed two identical cases so after knocking them out I brought them to top form and then make sure that one of their broken ribs would pierce their lungs, the time will start once the stasis seal on them will be removed, making Time start flow again for their wounded bodies," he said
"Those sounds like useful seals," Tsunade commented surprised
"Win this and I will teach you how to do those for free, God knows you may need them to heal people,"
"Okay, this operation will be conducted without jutsus, at my three I will remove the seal, Tsunade Senju, do you need any help?" the Young Kazekage said moving between the two
"I'll have only Shizune with me, this is MY challenge, she will just pass me my instruments," Tsunade replied
"Good, Baron Shi-sama? Who will help you?" the Kazekage then asked
"No-one," the Necromancer said shocking the people watching
"You sure? An operation like this is not something one can do alone," the blond woman said sneering
"Hn! You see, Tsunade...I knew you would have asked to have Shizune-san help you, a Top Grade teacher-student medic duo like you knows how to work together, so, in order to defeat Quality...I had to focus on QUANTITY!" Baron Shi said taking off his black robe, showing a skin tight leather suit with black shoes and several belts around his hips, but the most horrifying thing was that under his arms other four could be seen, giving him SIX arms, a scalpel already in each hand.
"WHAT ARE THOSE!?" Jiraiya yelled in surprise
"I got the idea from one of Orochimaru's guards! I can move each one independently just like my original arms, like this I can do the work of an entire equipe all by myself!" Baron Shi said with a maniacal grin on his face.
"Disgusting, let's start, I want to see Naruto," Tsunade said
"What about your hemophobia, Tsunade?" the Necromancer whispered smirking, both wearing their scrubs, Naruto a modified one to hold the extra arms.
"I spent this week defeating it, after this you will also tell me how did you know about that," the woman whispered back
"I have my secrets," he said with a playful wink, making her growl in annoyance.
"Both contestants ready?" the Kazekage asked
"Hai!" the two answered covering their faces with the surgical masks
"Good, the Challenge between Baron Shi and Tsunade Senju starts...NOW!" the young man said tearing away the seals at the same time, making the two men groan in pain for a moment before the anesthetics kicked in.
"BEGIN OPERATION!" Baron Shi said with crazed eyes as his six arms moved at the same time on his patient.
"Scalpel!" Tsunade ordered presenting her hand
"Here!" Shizune answered
With the people watching – one hour later
As the operation was still on going the various medics present couldn't help but stare in astonishment as the widely known Medic-nin Tsunade Senju and "The Man of Miracles" Baron Shi were doing by themselves the equivalent of work usually saw done by a full squad of doctors and surgeons but in half the time, some of the presents even taking notes without even battling an eye in fear of losing some key details while others tried to explain how incredible the two were to the ones without medical training.
"Look at him! I never saw someone work so fast! It's like he always had six arms, he is literally doing what three people would do by himself!" one of the medics said in awe
"Tsunade-sama's technique seems like water instead, she is flowing through the operation as if following some kind of music...but Baron Shi seems like a demon, to him that patient must just look like something to 'disassemble' and then repair, cold ruthless efficiency..." Another said nodding
"So he is a butcher?" Jiraiya asked confused
"Not exactly...how can I say it, with Tsunade-sama you can see that she is worried about saving that man, Baron Shi instead seems totally apathetic, he doesn't seem to care if the patient will live or not at the end of the operation so he just do what he has to in order to heal him without thinking about the consequences of each cut he does; I bet he would do this operation even with the man totally awake and without anesthetics, he would just ignore the screams and keep operating...he is...cold, he has a wonderful technique but he seems cold, uncaring," the medic explained
"So to him a man, an animal or a training dummy are all the same once on that table?" Inoichi asked
"Exactly, I don't know if I would trust someone like him to operate on me, sure he may cure me, but the idea of being seen as a piece of meat instead of a person is unnerving,"
"Baron Shi-sama has to not feel attachment for his clients, he knows that when people ask of him it has something to do with Death, so when a man or a woman asks him to heal their loved ones he knows that he will probably not save them since the patients they will bring him are on the verge of dying. No attachment means not suffering should the operation end up in failure, and yet, both in success and in failure people had always thanked him for doing the impossible," Veronica said nearing the group.
"If you put it like that...one can almost justify him...almost," Jiraiya said.
Back in the operating room – with Tsunade -
The blood of the man was flowing rapidly from the lung to the sacks as it was slowly drained, the Sannin woman sweating profusely under both stress of the operation and her latent fear of blood trying to resurface.
"Winning or losing is not important, I need to save this one all the same and to hell with my honor! But...there is so much blood!" she thought while Shizune passed a cloth on her forehead to take away the sweat.
Stealing a glance at the other she saw him use a pair of hands to remove the rib while at the same time preparing the sack for the blood and the required equipment to close the wound and repair the bones, catching up to her and yet almost to the point of surpassing her.
"It's like doing this against three people, he can really move them well with an astonishing coordination and speed," she thought surprised, focusing once again on her patient to save him.
"Is everything alright, Black Jack?" Naruto mentally asked to the soul that was piloting the body
"Yes, it's a little strange using six arms, but I am getting the gist of it," the spirit answered uncertain
"In life you were one of the greatest doctors around, with or without license, I knew that with my current knowledge I could have not hold my ground this well, had I used Orochimaru's knowledge instead, Tsunade would have suspected something, that bastard was not exactly 'Clean' when operating, focusing more on the result than the method," the boy answered
"I just hope people won't question the fact that you are appearing emotionless since your conscience is not 'linked' to the body at the moment," Black Jack said
"I already have Veronica spreading my excuse for that" Naruto answered
"Good, now let me finish, I have almost done, then I will let you 'copy' my knowledge so you won't bother me again," the spirit answered
"Rude bastard"
As the operation grew close to the end after more than two long hours had passed, both Konoha and Suna shinobi were on the edge of their seat to see who would have been declared the winner, once both moved to close the opening the had made on their respective patient chest to reach for the ribs the audience hold their breath.
"I AM DONE!" Tsunade said with Baron Shi saying the same a split-second later, making the Slug Sannin the winner for a mere second over the Suna Necromancer.
"Winner, Tsunade Senju!" the Kazekage called out between the Boos of the shinobi of Suna
"Nice operation, even with six arms I had troubles keeping up," Naruto said presenting his still bloodied hand, discreetly letting Black Jack's soul go while ignoring the dead man's muttering about malfunctioning extra hands costing him the victory.
"I am impressed that you managed to use those arms like that instead, I thought you were all talk, but I saw a great talent at work, at least as a medic I think I MAY respect you," Tsunade said shaking the man's hand adding more strength than necessary, turning displeased when the other didn't even flinch at that.
"Pass to my Shop once you are done relaxing, you and I need to talk," Naruto said leaving the operating room with Veronica and the boy's skull-masked guards soon joining him, praising his action during the operation.
"You did it, hime! You won!" Jiraiya said with a wide grin
"I won by mere speed, Jiraiya, I have more experience than him, but I can say that he has a lot of potential in him," she answered, cracking the joints of her shoulders with a groan.
"What now, Tsunade-sama?" Shizune asked
"I need a drink, then I'll go talk with that man, he has Naruto and I need to see clearly into this whole situation, I fear there is more in this than what everyone wants to admit," the woman answered.
"I am coming with you" her assistant said
"No, I am going alone, I fear this meeting will give me a strong head-ache," Tsunade answered groaning.
Yes, she really needed a cup or two of sake...
Two hours later – Shop Near the Underworld -
"Scratch that, I need a gallon of sake," Tsunade groaned while watching her Godson grin at her from behind the desk in the wide spooky room of the Shop.
"What makes you say that?" the blond boy asked curious, a devious smirk almost splitting his face in half.
"What makes me say that...I don't know...maybe the fact that my godson is not a Jinchuuriki since he sealed the Fox into a plush-toy, or it may be that he can enter a 'secondary body' in the form of a spirit...or know what? Maybe is the fact that you are this so called Necromancer and have those powers linked to Death, but I'll choose the one about MINATO AND KUSHINA BEING DAMN ALIVE!" Tsunade yelled slamming her hand on the desk
"Good to see you too, eh!" Minato said sarcastically, crossing his arms in annoyance.
"Is not so bad, my son helps a lot of people...sure he also punish the bad guys with a fate worse than death, but at least he can show some sort of restrain if the ones that don't pay have a good reason for that, make it a VERY good reason," Kushina answered patting the blond woman's back.
"Why telling me all this?" Tsunade asked
"Because I need you as Hokage, Tsunade-san," Naruto said, making the woman flinch at the formality
"You already said that, but why me?" she asked again
"Because you are not a power-hungry idiot that will turn this world upside-down in the hope to achieve power, if you are Hokage, then you'll be able to redirect its resources on the inside, by keeping Konoha occupied like that I will be able to deal with Kumo and Iwa without the shadow of the Leaf looming over me. This Country is rotten, Tsunade, the dead are whispering me this since I was able to understand their 'voice'; dead soldiers, dead civilians, dead women, dead children, all of them are constantly pleading me to stop their descendant from dying for ideals that are now only empty shells of what those once were, Kumo in the past tried to kidnap a five-year old girl to use her as a breeding factory and is still plotting to do it again today, Iwa is still angry with my father about the war and doesn't trust whoever is from outside their village...and Mist...that village is not even worth commenting with their bloodline purge, I contacted my spies there last month, Zabuza Momochi and his apprentice Haku, by their report the Mizukage is dead as well as few thousands between rebels and not, the number of dead bloodline users instead? Simply Incalculable..." Naruto answered
"You want to bring Peace?" the woman asked
"Peace does not exist, your Grandfather Hashirama and his brother Tobirama were great men, two shinobi of great Valor and Strength, both moral and physical, but they too thought that something as ethereal as Peace was possible, I plan to bring back Equilibrium in this Chaotic Land, Tsunade," the boy said to correct her
"That's a rather big ambition," she commented

At the same time they appreciate the progress of certain things if it happens slowly and gradually, the current Daimyos are weak-minded children in the body of adults playing with 'Life-sized dolls' that are the villagers of their lands, luckily most of them have sons and daughters with a decidedly brighter mind, unfortunately not in direct position to take the throne most of the times since they are brothers and sisters of the first born that is, if possible, even 'dumber' than the idiot that sired them...same goes for the Kages, the ones worthy are rarely choose to be the next one," the boy said with a tired sigh, accepting with an elated smile the tea Anko made and brought to him
"Here, it will help you relax, Boss" the woman said with a kind smile
"The best tea I ever had, I should have brought you here sooner, mum and dad can't make one to save their lives," the boy answered
"So, following your reasoning I am the only Good option for the village of Konoha," Tsunade said, taking a cup herself
"Exactly, Sahara is right know being taught how to be the next Kazekage thanks by the Wind Daimyo recommendation, by the speed she is proceeding with, in one or two years people will DEMAND her to be our new Leader, the problem is doing the same with the other villages and then the Daimyos themselves," Naruto answered nodding
"That's why you told me everything, you need me to be your eyes between the Kages!" Tsunade said in realization
"There are documents only Kages see and decisions only they can take, I can ask some spirit, but having a living Kage helping me is more effective, I will make sure the right Daimyo will reach the throne in case I have no other choice, but I need to trust whoever is in power to not back-stab me and reveal my being behind the scenes, I need to stay in the deepest shadows and maneuver things without leaving a trace, otherwise the ones in power won't believe that the decisions I make them take are instead their own," Naruto answered
"So you want a network from which help the right persons make the right decisions?"
"I want to push people in the right direction, Tsunade...I don't want to always be there holding their hands, I want to teach them what to avoid and what to do to not have a new Shinobi War destroy this Country,"
"You talk about your vision?" Tsunade asked worried
"A sharingan eye and a ten-tailed shadow bringing destruction, death and despair everywhere, I know Sasuke is not the one that will use the Sharingan like that, but I'll deal with the culprit myself, I need your help to keep the various villages calm and out of my way,"
"...It's so hard to believe," the woman said with an heavy sigh
"Feel free to not believe me, I will still do this all by myself," Naruto said waving her off
"No, since I do feel bad for not even try to see if you were well, I think I will start being a good Godmother and help you," Tsunade said shaking her head.
"It was not so bad, I do have my parents with me, but since you didn't know that you could have at least checked if I was alright," the boy answered
"Yeah, yeah...so you are interested in medicine?" the Slug Sannin asked curious
"Yes, I have both Orochimaru's knowledge and some notions I took from Black Jack, but I would like to study it 'Properly' instead of just steal knowledge, I can know what they did but I need training to properly use that knowledge,"
"Do you...would you like me to teach you?" Tsunade said with a nervous voice, looking down at her hands in difficulty
"Really?" the boy asked in surprise
"If you don't mind of course! I won't force you!" she said rising her hands
"It would be nice, I may be able to create someone like Veronica or operate with six arms, but it feels...nice to have someone teaching you like a normal kid," Naruto said with a wide smile
"A lot of people may be happy even with what you can do already, but I'll be happy to help you 'round the edges' in what you may need to know," Tsunade said with a smile herself
"I would love to,"
"Good, so...I need to become Hokage first, right? Okay, by what you say Danzo is pressing to be the new Hokage himself, I better stop him before he starts doing damages, count on me," Tsunade said in determination
"I'll be sure to have you know before-hand when someone is trying to attack you or move behind your back, Baa-chan," Naruto said happily
"Don't call me like that, brat! I will have you back in Konoha once everything is done, so get ready to move back home!" she said marching towards the door, a wide smirk on her face
"Keep dreaming," the boy said
"I'll show you then," she said, leaving the Shop with a smile.
"You don't really need those lessons, do you?" Kushina asked with a smirk

"We are all here then, do we have the location of the Bijus?" A shadowy figure asked looking at the projections of several men standing around him.
"Here Itachi and Kisame, we are right now looking as the Nibi Vessel is re-entering Kumo, the Eight-tailed host is accompanying her inside as we speak," Itachi Uchiha said as a blue-skinned man behind him was evidently keeping watch over something.
"Sasori and Deidara here, we are still having problems locating the Taki Jinchuuriki, the place that she lives in is some kind of maze that seems like going underground as well" an hunched man answered with a plain tone, the blond behind him nodding at his words
"Hidan and Kakuzu here, other than being a waste of money and time, we can't keep track of the Suna Jinchuuriki, the guards of that Baron Shi had already intercepted us several times...how they do that I don't know, I can't sense them even if trying," a masked man said
"YEAH! Those bastard ass-holes had cut off my arms!" Hidan said angrily, adding few more curses every three words.
"This is most troubling, the Biju in Mist is still re-forming and the Kyuubi is nowhere to be seen, we know for certain that someone managed to release the Fox without killing its his host, and yet no one could find it anywhere," the Shadowy figure said in annoyance
"What should we do, Leader-sama?" a woman with blue hair asked uncertain
"We'll need to wait for the three-tails to reform before start our plan, in the meantime we'll focus on finding the Kyuubi, we are talking of a giant nine-tailed Fox, it shouldn't be so hard to capture it during one of its rampages," the Leader answered
"HAI!" the various men said as the projections disappeared
"What do we do now, Madara?" the Leader asked looking as a masked man moved out from the shadows of the room.
"As you said we will wait for the Mist Biju to return while looking for the Kyuubi, as for Suna, few guards of a shopkeeper won't stop us, he may be respected there, but that man has not enough power to defeat the Akatsuki," the masked man answered
"Once found I'll deal with the Kyuubi myself, Madara," the shadowy figure said, showing himself as being a man with orange hair and grey eyes with concentric circles in it.
"And I will help you, Pein-sama," the woman added with a determined voice
"Thanks, Konan," Pein said
"I know you will capture the Kyuubi, Pein, I have no doubts in it," Madara said nodding, both the two men and Konan leaving the room.
"So this is what you are now, Obito? A man obsessed with power? When Baron Shi-sama told me this I didn't want to believe him, but in the end he was telling the truth...I wonder if there is still hope for you to return to your senses, even just in the name of our past..." the ghost of a woman with blue markings under her eyes said watching the trio leave with a sad expression on her face.
"I will keep watching you Obito, I just hope that if there is still a part of you that remained that good hearted boy you were back when we were kids, will you stop if I ask you? Will you stop if your "Rin-chan" plead you to change your mind?" the woman, Rin, wondered before turning back into a small blueish flame, flying behind the masked man that named himself 'Madara' so to spy on him as the Necromancer asked her to do.
"As long as I remain a spiritual flame Nagato won't sense me, I have to pay attention," the spirit thought as she flew over Pein's head to follow her target.

"How does it work here by the way? Does the Boss experiment on us like Orochi-teme used to?" Anko asked as she, Veronica and the Suna Sisters were following the human doll down in the Shop basement, towards the blond boy's main lab.
"No, Baron Shi sometimes requires our help for minor studies about his powers and the human body, but nothing life-threatening, just minor researches about his and our limits," Veronica answered
"AAAAAARGH! MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE I BEG YOU MAKE IT STOOOOOOP!" Tayuya's agonizing scream of pain echoed in the whole Shop, shocking the structure heavily
"In Tayuya-san case those are deeper researches since she is still considered a 'prisoner' more than Staff Member of the SHop" she then added calmly, opening the door of the lab to see the former Sound-Four tied to a metallic bed with only her underwear on.
"Okay, test n. 346, light input of 'Pain Manipulation' on the right ankle using a finger for Three seconds, the subject screamed quite loudly, another failure," Naruto said in a bored voice, Minato taking notes on a pad for him
"From 1 to 10, how painful was that?" the boy asked
"A FUCKING THOUSAND!" Tayuya yelled glaring at him
"The subject answered...a lot," Naruto said with a raised eyebrow
"Writing 'A fucking thousand' doesn't sound professional," Kushina explained to the group
"Can I watch? I want to see how you work," Sahara asked as she and the other sat behind him
"Fine to me, just stay quiet, it may be a little boring though," Naruto answered shrugging
"Try using even less energy, it can't be that you can only cause unimaginable pain, there must be an use for that power that isn't "Cruel Torture" for it," Minato suggested
"You make it sound like something bad, I find it awesome," Anko said pouting,
"Yeah, but if I need to briefly shock someone for whatever reason I need to be able to do it without sending the victim into shock," the boy answered sighing
"We tried to limit the power put into it, then we reduced the number of fingers and the area he touched, but she always ends up screaming like that after every try," Kushina said sighing herself
"Let's see...the part of the brain that controls the pain signals..." Naruto muttered looking at a freshly take Human Brain he had cut in half (another nonpaying client if you wish to know)
"What are you planning?" Tayuya asked, scared by his low muttering and the calculating glances he was sending her.
"Let's try like this, I am using the same principles behind medic-nin jutsus to modify the flow of the energy behind the 'Pain Inducement' technique, it should spread the energy on a wider area and reduce the intensity," Naruto said moving an hand on the girl's shoulder.
"Okay, whenever you are ready," Minato said nodding, ready to take notes
"In three, two, one...NOW!" the boy said sending a two-seconds-long pulse of energy in her body.
"OH, BABY YEAH!" Tayuya screamed in ecstasy while arching her back so much it seemed close to break in half, her hands closing tight just like her toes while her eyes rolled on the back of her head and her tongue lolled out of her mouth, making her droll down a river as she panted heavily, sweating as if just stopping from running a marathon once back into laying on the table.
A long silence was in the room and only interrupted by the panting, and still moaning, girl as she tried to recover from the exploding mind-shattering climax, only Naruto was not watching the scene in utter astonishment, he just sighed in annoyance.

"But that would be a fucking wonderful way to go! TEST IT ON ME, BOSS! I'll help you see if you can lessen the effect!" Anko yelled pouncing on him, rubbing her face on his with a pleading expression
"He is my boyfriend, he will test it on me!" Sahara growled, using her sand to pry the woman away from him
"I have not a Biju inside nor a Cursed Seal on my body, I will give better result for a normal human!" a very much naked Kankuo said hugging the blond
"Me too! Confronting results helps!" an equally naked Temari said adding herself to the hug, pressing the boy's head between her breast.
"YOU WON'T CORRUPT MY BABY BOY, YOU WHORES!" Kushina growled attacking the group of girls with inhuman maternal fury.
"Let's go on, dad, while they try to kill each other I want to do few other tests before accepting defeat," Naruto said shaking his head

Sure, he was happy she decided to become Hokage, he was also happy to hear how she talked with Naruto and managed to have the boy give her (and sadly ONLY to her) a second chance at being his Godmother.
Hell! At the beginning he was even happy to hear that Baron Shi decided to give her a "prize" for her victory against him, but when the woman confided to the Toad Sage that the prize was having Dan returning to life for 24 hours (and a secret one she didn't mention that was a 'de-aging' treatment that left her as young as she was when she fought Hanzou) he admitted that his happiness secretly faltered a little.
"OH GOD, DAN! IT FEELS SO GOOD! DON'T STOP! DON'T STOOOP!" Tsunade yelled as her former lover kept pounding into her with animal hunger.
But now that he was watching her having wild sex with the man, he could admit that his previous happiness died a most painful death, especially since he found himself 'lacking' when comparing his body with the deceased man's one.
"I DIDN'T REMEMBER YOUR PUSSY FEELING THIS GOOD, TSU-CHAN! I CAN'T STOP! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOUUUUU!" Dan yelled in answer as he gained speed in his thrusting.

Shorter chapter, but it was a filler to introduce the Time-Skip, from the next Chapter the Akatsuki will join the story, forcing our dear Necromancer to finally join a fight himself to better protect Sahara and the other Jinchuuriki.
