Black Baron of Suna Chapter 6: Making a deal with the proverbial Devil.
Konoha – Training Ground 9 -
A lonely girl was throwing kunais on a near post with an absent-minded expression, the fact that even by not focusing she was amassing bulls-eyes meant nothing to her, too focused on herself to care.
She was in fact quite hurt at the moment, rejected for the last time by the young man she used to have feelings for, but instead of crying like any other girl would, she just retracted in herself and moved to through accuracy exercises with different weapons.
Neji...Neji Hyuuga had to be so damn HIMSELF! After his victory against Lee he had worsened in his belief about Fate and his own superiority, treating his two Teammates, herself and Rock Lee, in contempt like a snobbish noble.
Even Gai had been unable to curb Neji's acts while Hiashi openly supported the 'Feud' between the young man and his cousin Hinata, there was not a day that did not finish with one of the two in the Hospital for Juken strikes, all permitted under the banner of "Just Training"...personally it was making her stomach lurch in disgust, she was not from a Clan, but from what she saw from the Akimichi, Yamana, Inuzuka and pretty much every other clan big or minor, only the Hyuugas seemed to be so prideful, second only to the by now extincted Uchiha Clan (Even if the only one remaining in the Village seemed nice enough to not gloat about everything he does).
And yet, Tenten persevered, trying to win Neji's affection, stubbornly forcing herself to go through a lost battle ever since the end of the Invasion, pretty much "wasting" three years behind someone totally uninterested in her...she more than once thought about contacting Baron Shi for help, but she was actually scared to meet the boy/man again.
All changed two months before now, she and her Team were training as usual; Lee was helping her by taking the role of 'Moving Target' while he himself trained his evasiveness, all under the proud eyes of their Sensei Gai, and the pity-filled eyes of Neji.
She didn't remember exactly what started it, probably one of the Hyuuga's usual snarly remarks about she and Lee wasting time training, Lee had started an heated discussion with Neji, having finally lose patience himself after YEARS of verbal abuse; when Neji tried to attack Lee, Tenten had twirled the kunai still in her hands at the two, grazing the Juuken empowered hand and drawing the Hyuuga's attention on her, still with those damn pale eyes of his with the cursed bulging-out veins of the thrice-damned Byakugan.
It had then be like a flood being tore-down by a raging river, she had verbally 'murdered' him, there was not a single thing about him she had not insulted, denigrated and out-right cursed to the deepest pits of Hell, but no matter how long she went or how hard she screamed, her rage kept building, when he insulted her choice of career making it sound like something 'unfit to a woman' she had finally snapped.
Gai later described it like the scream of a furious Banshee, freezing even him at hearing that while watching the girl throw a kunai with enough strength to make the sound of her own muscles ripping under the stress echo in the Training Ground, when Neji tried to use his Kaiten in a fit of superiority complex, no-one expected the blade to move Through the Jutsu long enough to hit the young man's shoulder before the swirling chakra teared the weapon to pieces.
Neji had then been too shocked to react to Tenten's punch, done with the remaining sane arm that too teared itself apart from the power behind the attack; the result was a direct hit to the nose that cracked the Hyuuga's whole skull and launched him several feet back unconscious and with his face reduced to a bloody mask of tattered flesh.
Dissipated the overdose of adrenaline the girl had then fell on her knees and cried in absolute pain at the destruction of her muscles, snapping both Rock Lee and Gai from their stupor and making the two drag the wounded teens to the hospital in great hurry.
It was then a blur to Tenten, but she remembered clearly her idol Tsunade Senju shutting-up the whole Hyuuga Clan by chalking everything up as a 'Training Incident' before telling them that Neji won't be able to expect to always win and that on the contrary, losing once in a while will help him to not grow too full of himself, fat chance at that if you asked the girl's honest opinion.
After what the doctors deemed "A miraculous recovery" Tenten requested a week out of the Team to clear her head after reassuring Gai that she and Rock Lee were still perfectly able to work together, but from the look in the Taijutsu Master she could see that he too knew on whose shoulders most of the blame fell about his Team reduction of teamwork.
"Stupid! Stupid! STUPID ASSHOLE!" she roared as with a new tearing noise the muscles in her left arm teared themselves to pieces again from the strength she used in throwing, making the kunai pierce the post clearly through before sinking in the tree behind that up to the handle.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" the girl screamed in pain while holding her shoulder, the pain so intense to make the corner of her vision darken already towards unconsciousness.
"What did Tsunade tell you about stressing your arms? Really, some people do not have any sense of measure or self-preservation," an amused voice said with a chuckle.
"W-Who's there?" Tenten asked.
"A friend, you idiot...if you want to quit being a kunoichi there are better methods than losing both arms," the familiar voice said while its owner knelt in front of her to look at her arm.
"B-B-Baron Shi?" the barely awake girl asked.
"Pain-induced shock, nasty...take this and sleep, I'll take you to Tsunade and then heal your arm, I was going to her office anyway," the blond Necromancer answered with a sigh while offering a blue pill to Tenten.
"Thank you," she muttered while swallowing the medicine, falling asleep in his arms barely few seconds later.
"I never expected side-effects to show-up so late, let's take her with us, may as well explain to her what happened," Naruto said while lifting the sleeping bun-haired girl.
"I can carry her for you, Master," Veronica offered, her eyes narrowing imperceptibly at the girl snuggling closer to the blond.
"Jealous already?" Minato asked with a chuckle.
"Mind your own business, Minato-san," the human doll answered.
"I'll be visiting Kurenai-chan if you don't mind, after a while talking through letters gets boring," Anko said.
"Just pay attention to not get discovered, the idiots here won't hesitate to use every excuse to attack you," Naruto said.
"Don't worry, Boss! This sexy body of mine is not for everyone to touch! That is reserved for you in case you finally see reason and admit that I AM the sexiest around!" the snake mistress said with a smirk.
"One day you will regret teasing me that much, and for once I seriously hope that this will be a prediction that will never come true," the blond answered with a sigh.
"You can lie to yourself all you want but I know that deep inside...you WANT to go deep inside, if you catch my drift, see ya later!" the woman answered before disappearing in a shunshin.
"...Terrible visions of purple...and it was not the hair in her head that I saw..." the Necromancer said with a full-body shudder of dread.
"I am sure that it was only a impression, my son! but just in case, I will protect you myself," Kushina said with a reassuring smile.
"And failed that, you can sleep in my bed, at least the bitch won't disturb you," Tayuya offered with a sneer towards the Snake Mistress.
"...Wonderful, now it has become Purple AND Red...what did I do wrong," the blond muttered, ignoring the sputtering flautist girl behind him with a fiery blush.
Few hours later – Hokage's office -
While Tenten was asleep on the office's couch with a bandaged arm, the blond Necromancer was sitting in front of the Senju woman with a small smile of self-satisfaction on his face, the normal guards in the office waiting outside and multiple seals keeping the room isolated from the rest of the World.
"So? How was getting on the Big Chair? As awesome as the others want you to believe?" Naruto asked.
"It's comfy, I'll give you that, but between Danzo's not-so-veiled threats about removal if I do not follow his ideals and Hiruzen-sensei quietly muttering off-handedly how things would work if I follow HIS advices, I barely have enough strength to deal with the butt-hurt Elders that are clenching to their seats for dear life and the various Clan Heads trying to out-yell each other," Tsunade answered with a groan, surprised and then grateful when Kushina moved behind her for a little massage.
"Oh, yes! The old unspoken rule of "I am louder so I am right," didn't know it was still in use," the young man said with a smirk.
"Someone must have told them it was still valid, I practically end each session with a migraine and a step closer to kill the lot of them and declare Dictatorship with only me as Konoha's Leader, at least I shouldn't be able to argue with myself," the woman answered with a tired sigh.
"The sad thing is that I can't feel even the slightest hint of sarcasm in that answer, Whatever. Luckily for you I am here, and I have brought you one or two solutions to several of your problems, interested?" Naruto answered with a flourish and a theatrical bow.
"As long as you don't want my soul, just hand those over! Tsunade said with a chuckle.
"I deal with souls seriously, I am a professional Master of the Dark Arts remember; first of all, I think those two plushes will be really helpful since they contain the knowledge of two esteemed men with experience in being Leaders," the Necromancer said while unsealing two human-like plushes with an uncanny resemblance with both Hashirama and Tobirama Senju.
"Why those two stuffed toys look exactly like my Grand-father and Grand-uncle?" Tsunade asked while pointing at the two few-inches-tall dolls now sitting on her desk.
"Helloooo there, Beautif...Grand-father? TSUNADE?!" the Hashirama doll said with a charming tone before yelling in shock.
"I am surprised to see you so young, Baron Shi has really gave you new youth then, knowing the man I should not have had doubts, but I am still impressed," Tobirama-doll said with a calmer tone.
The current Hokage was just watching the two with unblinking eyes, pointing at them with a shaking finger in a silent question as her mouth simply opened and closed without a sound.
"Orochimaru tried to use them with the Edo Tensei, once those two got in the way I took their souls with me for some extra help in training and politics, since I was done I decided to stop other attempts by sealing their souls in those dolls, then it came to me the thought about you and I being literally family and I decided to 'gift them' to you, they both have a great deal of experience in ruling the Village, even if it may be a little 'old knowledge' in face of what the current situation is, they should still be able to help you took the right decision with some inputs here and there," Naruto answered.
"Are they in pain?" Tsunade asked with a weak voice.
"No, I usually pay extra care at being sure my victims suffer, this time I did the opposite, those two can't move by themselves, but they are aware of what happen around them just like they would in their real bodies, but I suggest you three to talk only when no-one is around," he answered.
"Well...thank you then, I guess. What is the other problem you wanted to resolve for me?" Tsunade asked.
"About that, it's a solution in two parts, one right now and the rest later once we have dealt with some other issues," the Kyuubi doll said from the front of the blond Necromancer's clothes where it's head was peeking out.
"That sounds interesting, what are you planning?" Tsunade asked curious.
"Nnngh!" a small whimper came as the sleeping girl on the couch moved to sit with a groan.
"Good morning, feeling better now?" Naruto asked while walking towards Tenten and checking her bandaged arm.
"Yeah...thank you," she muttered.
"Do you know why this is happening and why your wounds heal way faster than normal?" the blond asked with a small smile.
"It's because of you?" Tenten asked.
"The healing is, but I am afraid that I miscalculated it on a setting just too low, while you were asleep I re-did the ritual and strengthened it a little bit more, unless you turn your bones to ashes, you should heal by yourself pretty quickly, not instantly, but in a matter of days, no matter how big the wound is," he answered.
"Can I ask why?" Tsunade asked.
"When I stopped her from dying I 'grabbed' her soul before offering another in sacrifice to keep her alive...the thing is that her Soul was still pretty much separated from her body, even if few threads still connected it to her body," Naruto answered with a chuckle.
"So I am what?...a zombie?" Tenten asked with a pale face.
"Not exactly, had you been one, your aging would have stopped and things like eating and sleeping would have been superfluous, and as I said, your Soul was still connected to your body although with a very weak link," he answered.
"And what should this mean for her?" The Hokage asked with a confused expression.
"She is the...let's call it 'the missing link' between Zombie and Humans, she is a bit of both, she needs to eat and sleep like an human, but can shake off lethal wounds like a zombie bar decapitation thanks to the healing factor I gave her, even if pretty much everything excluding me and few other things dies if you cut off its head. Another interesting thing is that she has not the same Limitations humans have since her brain cannot tell anymore if she is alive or not," Naruto answered.
"Limitations?" Tsunade asked, Tenten nodding in tandem as to ask the same.
"To put it in simple terms, Humans can not use the FULL power of their muscles and so the brain put limitations to that by itself, it's useful because the body is just a mass of muscles, tendons, organs and bones, if not for the brain each one of us would just break an arm to throw something with excessive strength, BUT, to an un-dead this is not a problem since they are simple re-animated bodies and aside from the brain they are literally dead from the neck down, so signals about excessive use of Power do not even exist, making them able to go even BEYOND the normal limitations of Human bodies, especially in shinobi-trained ones, there the limits are even higher," Naruto answered.
"And what about me?" Tenten asked.
"That is the interesting part, your brain is unable to tell if your body is dead or not, so sometimes it 'ignores' those signals of danger, making you do those stunts in which you ruin that pretty body of yours only to then scream in alarm when the pain finally gets registered, you can basically do what someone opening his or her Chakra Gates does, but without the pretty fireworks of Chakra, a bit of special training and you won't have that problem anymore," the Necromancer answered.
"Okay..." the girl muttered while looking down.
"Hoy! What's happening? Why so sad?" the young man asked.
"It's nothing," she answered, she gasped when his finger moved under her chin to gently force her head up, locking her eyes on his.
"You can tell me, I consider you a friend, what happened to make you so angry?" Naruto asked with a worried expression.
"It's nothing...it's just a stupid nothing," she muttered while gaining a slight blush on her face.
"Neji again?" he asked, surprising the girl.
"He has very good spies, you can tell us," Tsunade said with a gentle smile.
"It's...he is impossible to work with, there should have been someone able to teach him how to be a better person, through force if necessary, but they are leaving him go unchecked and he is getting worse, I don't know if I can trust him to not attack my back," Tenten answered.
"Would you like me to take care of that?" Naruto asked.
"Why?" she asked back.
"Because he is making you suffer, and that face of yours was obviously not made to look sad,"
Getting even redder she looked at Tsunade with a nervous expression, watching the woman grow a sinister smile.
"I fear that looking at me won't solve your problems, he and me are pretty much cousins, and he is also the only instance when I look the other way when it comes to dirty work," Tsunade answered with a smirk.
"C-Cousins?" Tenten said with wide eyes.
"From my family's side, Mito was her aunt and the wife of the First Hokage, my son here is behind her return and acceptance of the title," Kushina said while taking off her mask to show a bright smile.
"N-Nice to meet you, madame," the girl said with a low bow.
"You don't remember me? Come on! I changed your diapers once or twice too! I 'trained' to do that thanks to you...well, more likely thanks to that lazy ass of your father that never wanted to do it himself," Minato said with a whine.
"Who are you?" she asked, making him face-fault.
"HOY! I am famous, you know?" the Undead Fourth said with a offended tone.
"Ignore the drama-queen and listen to me, I am here to deal with part of the problem your Hokage has, I can make a little 'detour' and help you as well, just give me a proper answer so I'll know how to move," Naruto said while sitting near the girl with an arm around her shoulders.
"What can you do to help me?" Tenten asked.
"My first instinct would be beat him within an inch of his life, but without the proper reason it would look like the beating of a thug more than a life lesson, so I was thinking, what about taking away his bloodline?" the Necromancer asked with a feral smile.
"You can do that?!" Tsunade asked.
"Oh, yes I can! Lately I have been tinkering with some blood from minor bloodlines to try and see if I could force a 'Level Up' in them without needing for the user to fulfill the normal requirements, like moving a Sharingan up to the Mangekyou Stage without that pesky "Kill your best friend" thing it should require, but instead of that, I found in my hands a pretty little virus that eats away the bloodline from the host without killing it," Naruto answered.
"W-W-Why you were researching something like that?" Tenten asked with wide eyes.
"I was bored and needed something to do to pass the time between my appointments at the Shop," he answered with a shrug.
"You do know that the Elders will probably kill Neji should that happen? And by the way, that thing alone would be more than enough to keep whole Clans hostages, the threat of losing their precious bloodline can turn them to either submission or blind rage," Tsunade said with a worried expression.
"And I should care why? Humans have their reasons, I have mine. That Clan has an history of over-sized egos, and it's about time that someone knock them down from their self-constructed pedestal before they meet the same end of the Uchiha Clan, sooner or later they too may start thinking about a rebellion to put an Elder in your place so to leave the Main House with a young Clan Head easy to manipulate, because you can be pretty damn sure it will be one of those old traditionalists to try and become Hokage instead of a Branch member should they decide to," Naruto answered, his smile never faltering but instead gaining a twisted glint.
"Be as you say, but the Hyuuga at the moment are the main body of our police force now that the Uchiha Clan is reduced to just two members, one of which a Missing-nin, we can't risk having the entirety of them losing the Byakugan," the Hokage said.
"What about...what about doing that only to the Elders, Hiashi and his daughters and several key members of the Main Family...and Neji?" Tenten said uncertain, muttering the last name at a barely-audible volume.
"Ufufufufu! I like you, you do have an hidden vengeful side people don't suspect about, very sexy," the Necromancer said with a small laugh, giving a peck on the tip of her nose before walking towards the office's windows.
The girl never thought her face could grow that red to feel like on fire, looking at Kushina's smug look with the corner of her eye she managed to blush even harder.
"It would be a big shock for them to lose those eyes of theirs, making them desperate enough to try everything, like a 'Deal with the Devil'...very nice indeed," Naruto said ecstatic.
"And you would be the devil they will make a deal with," Tsunade said with narrowed eyes.
"Exactly! Hiashi would probably break his own head to try and cure this himself until his Pride will implode, in that moment he will probably crawl to you with the utmost humility and beg for your help before the Elders do something stupid like killing a Main House member to implant other eyes to replace theirs...thing that would be stupid since my Virus would just de-activate those as well," the young man answered.
"And what will I gain from this? You will maybe end up with the Hyuuga Clan fearing your very existence and plotting to kill you, but me?" Tsunade asked.
"You? You will have a Clan of pretty eyes more subdued since I will personally dangle their death over their head while you will 'casually' discover the cure; this will make me an enemy, but you will be the Saviour of the Hyuuga Bloodline, it would then be in their best interest to keep you alive since no-one else will be able to cure them should my cute little Kechimyaku-keshi Virus hit them (Bloodline-erasing Virus)." Naruto answered.
"Then why shouldn't Hiashi-san come to you before that?" Tenten asked.
"He will try to keep this a secret, the news of the lot of them losing their precious Bloodline would undermine their image, Baron Shi has more than once proved that he can keep the secrets of his clients even when those could be beneficial to his own Village so it's possible he will try to ask me first; should that happen, I will hold the Clan Head in my hands with the knowledge of me being the creator of the Virus, and yet, suggest that maybe Tsunade alone here would be able to contrast the plague, before wrapping everything up with it being impossible and laugh on his face."
"And you think he will believe that?"
"I believe so, remember, those people need to see Baron Shi as an heartless monster and Tsunade as the Saint that will protect them, they already know that their eyes do not work on the Necromancer, the added knowledge of him being able to take that bloodline away if he so wishes will keep them in line...should this fail, I say we kill the Elders and replace them with people with a little bit more of brain," Naruto answered.
"And the Caged Bird Seal?" Tenten asked.
"Already studied and cracked open, those idiots still use the old array of the first model that was created at the birth of their Clan, at the time it had been impossible to decipher, but with enough time and tinkering we managed, personally, I had more troubles creating one of my seal-empowered techniques than removing that old thing," Minato answered with a shrug.
"So then, the Main Family threatened with a Virus and the Branch Family bought with the freedom from their seal, we will practically split the Clan in two," Tsunade said in realization.
"Yes, once the Elders will have lost their Bloodline, suggest to Hiashi to remove them to not spread the infection, once those old farts are out, cure the Clan Head and the others afflicted; I will remove in the meantime the seal from the Branch Family, once done that, killing off the 'rotten' side of the Clan to leave just the good ones will be easy, no more seals producing pain but a new one simply protecting the bloodline used on everyone; war-mongering fools dead, Elders trying to over-throne you dead and the entirety of them hopefully humbled from the experience, that should be the result of our little scheme." The Necromancer answered.
"How will we know who to let alive?" Tsunade asked.
"Dead people like to talk, they know things no-one else knows. They will point us towards who we need to eliminate, it sounds horrible, I know, but only few of them need to die, there are others that are just mis-guided or blinded by their wrong beliefs, shake those and they will understand," the blond said.
"Like Neji?" Tenten asked.
"Yeah, don't worry, your boyfriend will become a better guy even if it is the last thing I do," Naruto answered.
"He is not my boyfriend. I thought that I felt something for him, but I think that even without that superiority complex he has, we simply would not work as a couple; but he is also a friend and I don't want to see him die," she answered, shaking her head.
"Okay! An 'Humility Transfusion' for Neji then, what about you, Neechan?" the blond asked with a smirk.
"Neechan?" Tsunade asked with a chuckle.
"Would you prefer, Baachan? You are not that old yet," he answered.
"No-no! Neechan is perfect! Let's do this thing about the Hyuuga, if you think that removing the Elders will help then so be it, Hiashi too had once or twice wondered that himself," The woman said.
"Wonderful! Simply wonderful! Now, about Danzo instead...Veronica? The urn please," the Necromancer said with a cheerful tone and a little joyful clap of his hands.
"Here it is, Master," Veronica said after unsealing a small highly-decorated urn she then gave to the blond.
"What's that?" Tsunade asked.
"The first stage of my solution to your Danzo Problem, we...let's say borrowed this from inside a statue in a museum oversea, it contains a new toy I was just too eager to use, and you just gave me the right excuse," Naruto answered, opening the urn while breaking the small seal on the top.
"Salt?" Tenten asked after peering inside.
"Salt, yes...but gathered from the tears of One Thousand Angels...this is the prison of Sammael, Son of Nergal-Jahad, hell-hound. He is a dark creature known as The Desolate One, the Lord of the Shadows, The Harbinger of Pestilence and Seed of Destruction...but the one I prefer is 'Hound of Resurrection' as I will gift him with a precious ability in exchange of his total and undying servitude: because for each one of him that falls, two shall arise!" The Necromancer said with a crazed smile as he poured the salt on the floor, with a small gesture a pale blue flame appeared in his hand before tossing the spark in the small white pile, all the while while reciting in an echoing, dark tone his 'gift' to the creature.
Barely an instant after the flame entered the salt an huge hand erupted from under the crystals, firstly only bone before muscles and flesh slowly rose from the salt as well to cover it, soon followed by sickly-looking grey/blue skin.
Under the horrified and yet awed stare of both Hokage and Weapon Mistress the hand was then followed by a muscled torso, dragging behind a long spine before legs too surfaced from the prison of salt, as unknown organs filled the chest the skin finally moved to cover everything once the muscles took their rightful place, completing the hellish appearance once four eyes opened on an elongated skull with bared fangs and tentacle-like protrusions mimicking an hair-style.
Looking around, Sammael sniffed the air hungrily before meeting the eyes of the blond Necromancer with a flash of recognition flashing in his own yellow ones, as to show both his gratitude and obedience he knelt briefly in front of the young man before standing back up, proudly and eager to hunt.
"A wonderful creature, isn't he? The last remaining of a long line of Gods of Chaos before Oblivion erased them all, curiously saved by his own prison. In his veins flows the blood of the Ogdru-Jahad bloodline; he is faster, stronger and more determined than any shinobi of past, present and future, his body can regenerate even the most lethal of the injuries in mere seconds; obliterating his body completely is the only way to kill him, BUT! This is negated by his ability to split his essence into two, allowing him to be reborn and grow in numbers each time one falls, his body can't be replicated by any means as my little gift will simply erase his corpse completely in the Highly Unlikely case someone manages to kill him, all the while two fully-adult Sammael will rise immediately after." Naruto explained as he patted the creatures head and chuckling at his offended grunt.
"And...and you want to unleash him on Danzo?" a pasty-white Tsunade asked with a whisper.
"He and Nemesis, and on the man's ROOT, I want those drones killed, I don't care if brutally or not, my two attack dogs will have free reign on them, I have permission from the souls of those poor men and women's families, all of them 'casually dead' at the time that bandaged fool recruited his soldiers, to kill every single one of them...the dead too prefer to see their loved ones die instead of living like puppets without a Will of their own, I guess Kami would be willing to make an exception for them...not that I care about that, of course," Naruto answered with a shrug.
"Then what?" Tenten asked, somehow fascinated by the creature.
"Then? Once that fool will remain without his personal army, I will appear before him as Baron Shi and propose him a deal he won't ignore, as it will be at the same time what he always wanted and what he will need in that time of need...Power and Immortality, but the price will be way higher than what he will think, all for my amusement that is," he answered.
"There is no way for me to stop you, right?" Tsunade asked with a defeated sigh.
"We talked already, I WILL do this with or without your consent, nor you or anyone else will stop me from removing the cancer that is rotting the Elemental Countries from inside, you people might love to give second chances to pretty much everyone, but I see people that are not worthy of it, and I plan on removing them, if you look at my List of Victims, you will see that I plan to remove mostly the ones too blinded by their own selfish desires and/or lust for Power and War," Naruto answered.
"D-Do what you think is right, as for now I can't stop you anymore...if only I was there when the Fox attacked...maybe you would have grown up differently," Tsunade said, looking down with a sob.
"Had you do that I would have probably been a fool pretending to save everyone and believing that Eternal Peace was possible, wishing to be Hokage and being recognized by everyone; not everyone can be saved, Tsunade, there are times where one needs just to kill the bad guys to see some proper results," Naruto answered.
"I have the scroll with Nemesis ready, Master. I will unseal him once there," Veronica said.
"Good! Me, Sammael, Nemesis and Father will be in the main ROOT HQ while Veronica and Mother will stay here to protect Tsunade, just to be sure. Tonight we will also administer the Virus to the Hyuuga Clan, be ready," the blond said as he, Minato and the Hell-hound disappeared in the yellow flash of the Fourth Hiraishin jutsu.
"Did I do the right thing, Kushina?" Tsunade asked.
"He is disillusioned by the human race, after dealing for so long with the dead and the darkest wishes of people he has lost a great deal of Hope; me, Minato and the others are slowly helping him out of this, but some of his ideals are too rooted in his mind to just disappear. He means well, he himself wish to see the various Villages live in a semblance of Peace, but between his experience and his visions he also fear the greatest of Wars, a conflict that will just kill in millions, all he is doing is for the only purpose of stopping that from happening," the woman answered.
"A great War?" Tenten asked with a worried tone.
"The biggest and bloodiest; the Leader of Akatsuki has some kind of plan that will simply enslave humanity should he succeed, Danzo's quest for Power is one of the variables that if left unchecked will 'distract' the other Kages long enough for the Akatsuki to act undisturbed, we need to move fast and stop Danzo from taking the Hokage title through a coup AND stop Akatsuki from collecting the various Bijus for their plans, and the only way to do that is by killing all of them. I don't like this, neither does Minato, Anko, Veronica or even Naruto, but we all came to accept this as the ONLY possible way to stop a Massacre from happening," Kushina answered.
"Does he have those visions every day?" Tsunade asked worried.
"Every single night, he has a 'special' way to sleep without having one, but he is actually scared of that, he fears to lose a key detail and ruin everything, so he prefers to let those predictions come and accept whatever short sleep he has between them," the woman answered.
"Can I help in some way? I owe him my life," Tenten said.
"He sees you as a friend, he may like to give the image of an heartless bastard, but I know him well enough to say that he was awfully happy to hear your mother plea from the Otherworld for him to save you; he loves to see a mother that dedicated into protecting her children, I know he deals with horrifying things but it's part of who he is, a Necromancer whose world is the Land of Dead and everything that is part of that place," Kushina answered with a gentle smile.
"Can I write him? Even if through letters he can still have someone outside his Shop to talk to," the girl asked.
"I bet Minato would not have a problem to just come and collect you with a flash whenever you want a meeting with Baron Shi, the more human contact he has, the better my son will get...if that is not a problem," the woman answered.
"None at all, if he manages to teach Neji some humility I will even declare him a man of miracles like others do already," Tenten answered, making the other women chuckle in amusement.
"As for now go home, tomorrow we will see if I can teach you how to handle the new way your body works, congratulations! I can safely say that you are in a good position to be my apprentice, if you are interested," Tsunade said, making the girl squeal in happiness.
"IT WOULD BE AN HONOUR, HOKAGE-SAMA!" Tenten answered with a furious nod.
"Then go and rest, my Training is very harsh," the woman answered with a smirk while playfully waving her hand in a 'shoo' motion.
"AS YOU WISH, SENSEI!" she answered, bowing deeply to her and Kushina before bolting out.
Her dream became reality! Student of her idol and friend with the second strongest woman Konoha ever produced (Kushina) and also friend of her son...also son of the Fourth Hokage...she guessed that after all she saw, knowing that the infamous Minato Namikaze was also alive was a lesser shock than watching a demon resurrect from salt. Or so it seemed.
With Naruto, Nemesis and Sammael -
The now long-haired Necromancer stood at the entrance of the ROOT Secret base, now wearing his alternative body and following the directions of the spectral form of a former agent of that secret military force.
"Is it here?" Baron Shi asked calmly, ignoring the hungry growls of both Sammael and Nemesis.
"Yes, baron Shi-sama, Danzo too is in there, pretty much every available ROOT is also present, the others will probably join in case of attack, this is one of the major meetings Danzo holds whenever he is planning something big," the soul answered.
"Like using the chaos of the Akatsuki hunting down Biju to capture some jinchuuriki himself?" he asked.
"Yes, since Suna is still under your indirect protection he will move his eyes on the ones that had already escaped their Villages, once done he will use them to force both your personas under his command," the soul answered.
"He can try, but he won't succeed. You can go now, thank you for your help," Naruto answered with a tiny nod.
"Thank you, Baron Shi-sama...I will say a prayer for the ones in there as they are no longer able to choose, I just hope this will help them escape damnation as their Sins have notbe done in free-will," the dead man said while its spiritual body dissipated like mist.
"I hope so too, I can't mingle in the affairs of Gods without repercussions myself, but if they are listening to me...I just ask to give those men and women proper judgment once they reach the Otherworld," the Necromancer said with a sigh.
"Should we go?" Minato asked.
"Yes, Nemesis and Sammael will go on the front and slaughter everything on their path; you and Tayuya stay by my side, Anko will cover my back," Naruto answered with a nod.
"Glad you took the time to call me, I was waiting for a good opening to attack the bastard!" Anko said while glaring at the Base entrance.
"Perfect, then...we can start!" Baron Shi said in glee, making both undead and Hellhound sprint forward, demolishing the entrance in their furious run.
"Eager puppies, always ready to play!" Naruto said with a chuckle of amusement.
ROOT Base – Danzo's Office -
In the most deep and hidden room of the whole beehive stood the big office of the bandaged man, a perfect replica of the Hokage's office on the surface and guarded by the best soldier of the man's private army, when the entrance was forced open a loud alarm resounded in there as well, making some specified seals on the map of the whole base light-up to show from where the attack was coming.
"So that woman decided to attack? I was not expecting her to dip her hand so soon, whatever...ATTENTION ALL ROOT MEMBERS! We are under attack! Suppress every intruder but do not kill them, they shall join our forces, let them learn what it means to cross us!" Danzo muttered with a frown before using the various speakers in every room to alert his men.
"What should we do in the meantime, Danzo-sama?" one of the guards in the office asked.
"Defend the outside, I'll have two of you here with me just for precaution," the old man answered, surprised to hear both infernal howls and scream of pain reach his office deep down the earth.
"WHAT?! IMPOSSIBLE!" the bandaged man yelled in disbelief, watching with wide eyes as the 'lights' showing the sectors attacked kept lighting-up at rapid speed in the fastest path towards his own position.
"STOP THEM! STOOP THEEEM!" he ordered with a furious scream through the speakers.
In the meantime – with the Shop Group -
"Everyone's Grudge!" Naruto yelled while waving the purple lantern, launching wave after wave of wraiths towards the ROOT Members and watching in glee as the spirits of the ROOT Force's victims teared the masked men to pieces.
"S.T.A.R.S!" Nemesis screamed as he grabbed a pair of jounin-rank shinobi's faces with his hands, making their heads explode thanks to his monstrous strength.
"Still unable to speak properly, ah! At least he can fight well," Minato muttered with a smirk while deflecting a sword with his kunai and then elbowing the masked woman on the face and shattering both her mask and skull.
"Many hidden snakes: suffocation!" Anko said while intercepting an attack on Baron Shi with her snakes, sending the reptiles out of her sleeves and down two ROOT Members' throat, snapping their neck from inside.
"GRAAAAAH!" Sammael roared while lifting a man above his head and tearing the human's body in half effortlessly, showering the demon in blood.
"Baron Shi, as per orders of Danzo-sama you are under arrest! Cease the attack immediately!" a Captain-ranked ROOT said in a monotone.
"What about no?" the Necromancer answered snorting.
"Then you will die," the Captain answered, moving fast to impale the robed man with his sword.
"Tch! If there is still a trace of humanity in you, I hope that it is now screaming at you about what an idiot move this was," Baron Shi answered while grabbing the man's face.
If the other blank-masked members were still capable of emotions, they would have watched in horror as the captured ROOT simply 'withered' under the man's touch as his whole being was rapidly absorbed by the Necromancer to heal his wounds, leaving behind a blackened husk that crumbled to ashes once threw away.
"That is fucking awesome," Tayuya muttered, carelessly summoning one of her demons to crush a near shinobi.
"Ufufufufu! Thank you, this happens whenever I completely absorb someone, it's a pity because it doesn't leave behind anything to experiment on, but at least you can clean everything up with way little effort," Naruto answered with a small laugh.
"Grrrr!" the Hellhound growled.
"Yes, Sammael! you and Nemesis can keep killing them, as I said, I only want Danzo-kun alive. Me and him need to talk, the others are just inconsequential," Baron Shi answered.
"STOP THEM!" another ROOT ordered, making few present start moving through hand-seals.
"They are ready to use jutsus, even if it might make the place collapse, their training just removes self-preservation too it seems," the Necromancer said with a sigh while switching from the lantern to the chained hooks.
"Drones are expendable, I am not surprised instead," Minato said while shaking his head in sadness.
"Katon: Great Fireball projectile!" the first intoned while launching an human-sized fireball.
"Suiton: Drilling water bullet!" the second said, adding a cone-shaped spinning bullet of compressed water to the attack.
"Ah, No-no! That's not good!" the Necromancer said with a sneer while forcing the corpses of the fallen ROOT to raise and act as a shield.
"That is not a good way to treat the dead," Minato said while flashing through the masked shinobi to cut off arms and legs.
"I am in a tight spot, I will send my apologies once we are done, okay?" Naruto answered, using his hooks to tear off the soul of the ninja in front of him.
"Good! Those men suffered enough as it is," the former Fourth said with a nod.
"COME OUT, DANZO! I AM HERE TO HAVE A BUSINESS TALK! DO NOT FORCE ME TO CARVE MY WAY TO YOU ON THE FLESH OF YOUR PUPPETS!" Baron Shi yelled.
"Stand down! I am here, what do you want?" Danzo said, his eyes narrowed and his voice cold.
"Surprised to see you come out, but it's an appreciated surprise, I think it is about time we have a talk, but if I have to say, we would have met sooner had you just contacted me in person last time I was here, or even just took a little trip to Suna yourself instead of sending those poor men...that by the way should be taught manners since one can't simply try to barge in other people's houses without an invitation," the Necromancer said with a mocking tone.
"Why should I move myself?" the bandaged man asked with a sneer.
"Well, Danzo...if even Daimyos come to me Shop by themselves, sure as Hell you can move that wrinkled, geriatric ass and come yourself instead of pretending ME to do as you fucking please," Naruto answered with narrowed eyes, losing any semblance of playfulness.
"How dare you!" Danzo said between clenched teeth.
To the bandaged man's horror Minato flashed through his remaining men, instantaneously cutting their throat while Tayuya and Anko made a short work of the others escaping the first attack while closing the massacre were Nemesis and Sammael killing the few remaining.
Before Danzo could unlock the iron gauntlet under his bandaged arm a pale-purple hook dived in his chest, freezing him solid in surprise.
"Izanagi...the ability to remove the boundary between Reality and Illusion at the cost of one Sharingan eye, making one basically immortal as long as there is one eye to sacrifice, and you have a dozen in that arm of yours, but, against me even that becomes useless as I can just rip out your soul in an instant...and no amount of eyes can spare you from that," Baron Shi explained, demonstrating his point by briefly jerking the chain of the hook making Danzo stumble forward.
"Why the Sharingan doesn't work?" the man muttered in surprise.
"Because those pretty eyes can not perceive the presence of the hook in your body since it is not leaving wounds or traces of any sort...I talked with some ancient Uchiha, and they were really helpful in helping me understand how their bloodline works, especially since I needed that knowledge to face a thief such as you. So? Will you talk with me or do I have to kill you and be happy with it? I have a proposition for you, but the longer you keep wasting my time the more I lose interest in proposing," he answered.
Seeing that he was now without ROOT at his side while the Necromancer had still his masked guards, one of which Danzo had the horrifying doubt was in fact the revived Fourth Hokage, and two demons to back-up the squad, the old man could only take a deep breath and nod in acceptance.
"Good! Let's have this meeting you so much wished to have, but two things. One, that eye in your head does not work on me nor my guards, so stop trying to use it on us, it's annoying; and the last thing, the hook stays in your body so do not try anything funny, it will take less than an instant to kill you," Baron Shi said.
"At this moment, I have no other choice than to accept. Follow me," Danzo answered while moving back towards his office closely followed by the Necromancer and his guards.
Later that night – Hyuuga Compound – Main Family's Section -
It was a cold night of silence, few Branch Members were patrolling the corridors of the imposing section of the massive compound that held both Main Family and Elders, the guards Byakugan coming to life in intervals to save Chakra in case of attack and to last until the change of rounds without straining their reserves.
And it was during those intervals that an outsider entered the Compound, just like an emissary of Kumo managed to do years before, but this time even the adjustments that had been done since the event were not enough to deter or even just detect the new intruder, especially since she was not producing Chakra, heat, smells or sounds of any sort.
Yes, Veronica was indeed the "Ultimate Assassin" Baron Shi wanted her to be, a small zip in her chest could let her remove and seal away her own heart, her feet although trained into moving with as less noise as possible had been also crafted to be the human answer to cat paws with similar pads on the sole.
And as she was now, she was invisible; barefoot, with no heart-beat or chakra and her respiration and transpiration halted, the Human Doll was leaving behind barely a trace of her presence and using the Blind Side of the Byakugan to move through the shadows unnoticed.
"Master, this will be the final Test to my abilities, I can not fail...just for you," Veronica muttered with a tiny smile as she climbed the side of the Elder's Section House to reach for her first Target, Hasao Hyuuga.
"Here he is..." she muttered as she opened the door and silently moved in the room of the old man, her face devoid of emotion as he grumbled in his sleep and moved to sleep on his side giving her his back.
In the complete silence of the room the girl calmly took off one of her gloves and left her nails elongate into syringes, a satisfied smirk slowly surfaced on Veronica's face.
"Now the virus," she said while uncorking a small vial and gulping down the content, focusing on 'driving' the liquid towards her fingertips for the injection.
Even if called 'Virus' the mixture was something even more complex than that, physically latching to the genes of the Byakugan and forcefully 'shutting down' the Bloodline traits making their eyes different than any other human eyes, 'Feeding' on it in a way more akin to a Parasite; if not for both Orochimaru's knowledge about the Cursed Seal and Naruto's overall knowledge on the Dark Arts such a creation would not have been possible.
"Nnnngh! Dirty...peasants..." the old man grumbled with a frown on his face.
"Unpleasant man," Veronica muttered as few red drops fell from her fingers inside the Elder's mouth, making him momentarily lick his lips before frowning deeper in discomfort, oblivious that the veins around his eyes were bulging out and back in at random intervals as his bloodline went briefly crazy before calming down, subdued by the infection.
"One down, now the others." Veronica thought while leaving the room with a determined expression, that night she had a special mission for her beloved Master and she was dead-set into completing it as fast and efficiently as possible.
She wanted him happy and proud of her, both as his personal guard/assassin and his creation, and a small part of her also wanted him happy for her own selfish reasons about out-staging Sahara and her sisters in the blond man's eyes.
The Next day not a single scream was heard coming from Elders, Hiashi, Hinata, Neji or the few others Main Family Members once they discovered the Tragedy, as to not show weaknesses to the ones in Konoha who would have pounced on the news in hunger everything was kept in secret, and while the Old Men were more than happy to close themselves in seclusion, Hiashi took a gamble and decided to see if Tsunade would have been able to resolve this instead of hoping that their Clan own Healers could stumble on a solution by miracle.
The woman will then play her part, implying her suspects about Baron Shi's involvement and starting the chain of events that would hopefully make the Hyuuga Clan more civil and controllable for the current Hokage without another Massacre happening in the meantime.
Suna – Main Gate -
The young Necromancer was wearing his alternative body and watching with a small smile the two scowling Missing-nins that had openly challenged him and the staff of the Shop Near the Underworld.
"Well, I am surprised to see you here so soon, I sincerely thought you would have waited just a little longer before attacking Suna," Baron Shi said with an amused tone.
"Leader-sama wants you removed, and who am I to deny such a simple request? I wonder what will happen if I take your heart," the masked Akatsuki member answered with a chuckle.
"Kakuzu has his reasons, but I have mine, you can deal with the dead, don't you? Then why don't you join Jashin-sama's order? We celebrate Death as the Ultimate form of gratitude towards our God!" the one with a three-headed scythe asked with a wide, crazed smile.
"Ah, yes! You are a Jashinist, a follower of that minor deity of blood, I am surprised that such a small cult is still ongoing with its few members and sick rituals, but I guess that being mentally healthy is not a requirement to join it, so any deviant or crazy fool at least has a place to go," the Necromancer answered, amused by the Jashinist frown.
"YOU HEATHEN! When I am done with you, Jashin will feast on your own blood!" the man answered with a furious growl.
"Master, can I join you in this fight?" Veronica asked.
"Me too, I want to help you kick that bastard's ass!" Tayuya said while unsealing her flute.
"Who's a bastard, bitch?" Hidan asked with narrowed eyes.
"You, asshole!" the girl answered.
"Quite the intellectual meeting," Naruto said snorting.
"Whatever you did, it must be pretty bad as even Tobi seemed eager to attack you," Kakuzu said.
"I just showed to your Leader how much enjoyment a certain girl has with me...and by the way, she accepted to be my new girlfriend, how did she manage to talk her way to it, I have no idea," the Necromancer answered, his smile widened as a far-away roar of rage echoed in the desert surrounding Suna.
"That sounded like Tobi, surprisingly...well, let's get this over with, I have stuff to do and a young Kazekage to kidnap," Kakuzu said while summoning two creatures of black threads wearing masks.
"You can take care of our Fanatic of Masks, I think that I will focus more on the religious of the two," Naruto said.
"As you wish," Veronica said with a bow.
"Fuck yeah, count on me, Boss!" Tayuya added, both intercepting the creatures as their Master charged his own target.
With Naruto - fight against Hidan -
"YAAAAH-HAHAHAHAHA!" the crazed priest howled with a mad laugh while twirling his scythe, cursing between clenched teeth as the chains of the Necromancer's hooks connected to it in a tight knot.
"Fuck!" Hidan cursed again while elongating his weapon thanks to an hidden chain to take further distance from Baron Shi.
"So many curses, and you use that mouth to kiss your mother?" Baron Shi asked, giving a wide swipe with his free chain and barely missing the Missing-nin.
"I killed my mother!" Hidan replied, pulling the Necromancer towards himself and freeing his weapon as a result.
"Why I am not surprised...Fuuton: Shinku Renpa! (Wind Release: Vacuum Serial Waves!)" Inhaling deeply the young man blew out several wind blades while moving his head in several direction to spread out the attack, covering a wide area in deadly blades of wind.
"FUUUUUUUCK!" Hidan growled as he barely dodged the attack but losing his left arm in the process.
"Ah! This won't kill me!" the man said with crazed eyes as he charged the Necromancer, this time swatting away the hooks with his scythe.
"Persistent fool," Baron Shi muttered with a sigh.
With Tayuya and Veronica – fight against Kakuzu -
"HOY! Puppet-head! Any idea? Those bastards won't stay down!" Tayuya growled out as one of her ogres just crushed one of the masked beings down before watching in rage as the Missing-nin kept resurrecting them with his black threads.
"It appears that we need to destroy their whole body, pay attention to keep the masked man intact though, Master might be interested in studying him later, so do not destroy him," Veronica answered as her at-the-moment-a-guillotine arm just crossed with a kunai in Kakuzu's hand in a shower of sparks.
"UHMP! Nice strength you have there, you seems a lot like me, modified body?" the man asked with a tint of fascination.
"Master created me from nothing, I am his personal assassin, his guard, his creation..." Veronica answered, she wanted to also add 'Lover' to the list, but it wouldn't have been professional in that situation.
"Very interesting, do you mind then if I take your heart for my collection?" Kakuzu asked with a chuckle.
"That's perfectly fine, I have several spare ones," the young woman answered with a straight face, using the distraction of the man's surprise to push him back few feet.
"Really?" he asked surprised, watching as his Wind Earth charged at the girl.
"Yes," she answered while unsheathing a pair of curved blades joined at the handle from her sleeve she then started twirling at rapid speed in her still-normal hand.
"HOW MANY WEAPONS DO YOU HAVE IN THAT BODY?!" Kakuzu yelled in anger as he ran through hand-seals after watching her bisecting the thread-made creature in half.
"More than enough," Veronica answered.
"Doton: Heaven-Earth Pillar!" Kakuzu said stomping angrily on the floor and summoning around him a ring of squared pillars of rock that expanded rapidly towards Veronica forcing her to jump high in the sky to avoid the attack.
"There!" the masked nin said in glee as the Wind Heart Beast appeared in front of her with a jutsu already on the tip of its tongue.
"Fuuton: Piercing Gale!" a distorted voice said as an explosion of wind caught the human puppet fully, slamming her on the floor in a deep hole.
"I am not finished yet! Doton: Graveyard of Rocks!" Kakuzu said as two tall walls of rock surfaced on Veronica's sides, once he clapped his hands the two walls got slammed together before dragging down underground everything caught in-between.
"One down, another and the guards are dead," the man said in satisfaction.
"FUCK! Baron Shi-sama will be pissed, he hates when people damages his creations...okay, time to cut this bastard down with his toys..." Tayuya hissed in anger before taking in an huge breath.
As the Fire Element heart and the Water Element heart were close enough she blew in her flute with all her power while focusing a great deal of chakra, the resulting note pierced the area and had Kakuzu grunt in pain while grabbing his ears, surprised to see blood flowing from it.
"This won't stop nor me nor my beasts!" he said with a sneer under his mask, making the masked entities resume their attacks.
"Ya fucker! That note created a "cloud" of sound above us! In there the sound will echo and condense while becoming louder and more intense..." Tayuya said with a feral smirk as the semi-transparent 'bubble' up above her and the beasts kept growing and roaring.
"And then once ready...all that sound will come down at once! THUNDER NOISE!" the girl said in glee as her 'Cloud of Sound' ruptured, shooting a lightning-like attack that fried the masked creatures completely and tearing the heart inside them to pieces.
"DAMN YOU!" Kakuzu hissed with narrowed eyes while hastily recalling the Wind Element Heart inside his own body so to have at least two other than his own.
"Water and Fire are gone, you still have Earth and Wind, it means that is over? Or do you have a Lightning one too?" Tayuya asked with a mocking tone.
"I have spares too, you know? Those just happen to beat in your chest and in the ones of both your Master and the other members of your Shop," the man replied while letting his black threads travel through his body to elongate his arms and generally strengthening him.
"Yuck!" the young flautist muttered in disgust.
"Now, COME HERE!" Kakuzu yelled while running towards Tayuya with his hands forward to grab her, when a thin, long blade managed to cut-off his left arm at the shoulder he stumbled in surprise at who he saw at the other side of the weapon.
Veronica had apparently survived her burial and spent some time digging her way out from underground, although with the whole right side of her face covered in both dirt and blood, both her arms heavily damaged and her clothes in tatters barely holding together.
"I did not appreciate that, the coat was a present from Baron Shi-sama, and I don't like when people ruin it," she said with each syllable dripping venom.
"EH! I am not paying for laundry," Kakuzu said while reattaching his severed arm, taking in a deep breath he grinned at them in hunger.
"Doton: Mud River!" he then said before puking out an huge stream of mud towards the two girls.
"NOW! Fuuton: Drilling Air Bullet, Doton: Earth Dragon Projectile!" Kakuzu said rapidly calling on his shoulder one of his remaining masks, launching a bullet of condensed air and one of mud shaped like a dragon's head towards the other two.
"SHIT! Get behind me! Oto Kabe! (Sound Wall!)" Tayuya said, playing a small melody and summoning a translucent barrier in front of her that barely sustained the explosion resulting from the two attacks hitting the rapidly-erected protection.
"Tch! I know you two are alive, come out!" the man ordered as a barrage of kunais flew out of the cloud of smoke towards him.
"That's better," he said as a new mask came out on his back.
"Raiton: Heaven-piercing light!" he called out as a small stream of lightning melted the kunais and blew away the cloud of dust, showing that both Tayuya and Veronica were already in motion to attack him.
"GET THE ASSHOLE!" Tayuya ordered as her three summoned ogres blitzed the masked man.
"Not enough!" Kakuzu answered with a sneer while dodging the huge club of one of them, running up the weapon and jumping above the creature's head to reach for the red-head.
"And this will be instead!" Veronica answered as she intercepted the falling man by throwing the two curved blades and watching in satisfaction as those managed to cut the Lighting mask in half.
"The mask may be down, but the heart it's still here, Raiton: Lightning Bullet!" Kakuzu answered as the half of the mask still on his back managed to launch a small sphere of compressed lightning, catching the human doll fully on her chest.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAURGH!" screaming in pain Veronica crashed on the ground, rapidly pinned in position by Kakuzu's hands.
"One down!" the man said as he moved one hand to strangle her.
"NO!" Tayuya said, stopping when the Missing-Nin momentarily tightened his grip.
"It would take me an instant to kill her, just look, not even the time to play a note!" Kakuzu answered with an ominous chuckle.
When Veronica tried to break free the tendrils on Kakuzu's back moved to restrain her hand when her fingertips barely touched his skin, making the man laugh in amusement while looking at her.
"Huhuhuhu! What were you trying to do, young girl?" he asked with a wide smirk.
"...This!" the girl answered with a grim smile herself, to Kakuzu's surprise her nails elongated enough to pierce her gloves and go through the Missin-nin's veins, injecting an huge amount of liquid before she was brutally threw away.
"GACK! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" he screamed in rage.
"I have orders to capture you alive, that was a neurotoxin I had permission to use in case you would have made things difficult," she answered while showing her syringe-like fingertips.
"And how does it work?" Tayuya asked with a curious expression while Kakuzu slowly returned to normal before droll started to flow from his mouth.
"It will slowly destroy his Motor Cortex, the part of the brain normally involved in the planning, control, and execution of voluntary movements, the sensory guidance of movement, the spatial guidance of reaching and pretty much what makes an human able to "move" in general...we need his body and only part of his mind, if he is unable to move by himself but alive then the mission will still be a success," Veronica answered.
"M...M-m-mon...sder..." Kakuzu said as he was feeling his body slowly stop following his orders before falling face-down on the floor.
"Well, I guess I can only say one thing then, Good Job! I hope you would not have been forced to use that trick, but one can't always get what he wants," Baron Shi said with a wide smile.
"Sorry if we damaged your guinea pig, we were only trying to survive, NO BIG DEAL!" Tayuya said with a furious glare.
"What's important is that you two are still alive, you dummy! I can easily find all the Test subjects I want, but two helpers like you are pretty much rare, so I prefer having you two okay, than those two slightly damaged," the Necromancer said while encompassing both in a tight hug, making both tired girls blush a little.
"Thank you, Master," Veronica said with a small smile.
"Tired?"
"Fuck yeah I am!/ yes," both answered.
"Then let's go home, while you two relax a little I will study those two." Naruto said.
"And the schyte maniac?" Tayuya asked.
"Down there, he can survive being cut to pieces, but he can't regenerate, I guess it was Kakuzu the one to 'stick him back together' whenever Hidan was wounded," Naruto answered, pointing at the cursing pile of flesh on top of which stood the severed head of the Jashinist.
"You can't kill me, Fucker! Jashin-sama protects me!" he said with a defiant smile.
"I very hope so, I have several experiments that would benefit quite a lot from a Test Subject unable to die by normal means," Baron Shi answered with a sinister glint in his eyes.
"...Oh...fuck!" Hidan muttered with his face growing pale by itself once the realization of what the other had just said reached him.
"Yes, 'Oh Fuck!' indeed," Naruto answered.
In the end, the two Akatsuki members will spend quite some time in the underground Lab of the Shop, both of them cursing their form of "Pseudo-Immortality" that was being turned against them by the Necromancer that was using them to Test his more "Unethical" researches that would have otherwise killed normal humans by the dozens.
"How did you resolve the issue with Danzo?" Minato asked.
"I decided to 'speed-up' my plans for him and already took care of the problem, if everything goes as I planned no-one will notice the 'changes' I did to the man until the right time comes, a pity that he screamed so much during the whole procedure...I thought that by being a War Veteran his pain-threshold would have been higher...what a pity," Naruto answered.
"What about the Hyuuga Clan? Hiashi has still to ask for a meeting with you," Kushina asked.
"That is an interesting development that once again remembered me that I can't pretend to always know how things will go and remind me to always pay attention and have a contingency plan or several; in a rare show of humility, Hiashi decided to surprise me and go directly to Tsunade instead of passing by here before that, luckily my Godmother is a very smart woman and a crafty talker, once seen that he had visited her first she managed to spin things to still move the plan as we wanted. And since I got what I wanted by the Hyuuga way ahead of schedule, it means that the seal-removing tags will be needed sooner as well," Naruto answered.
"Yeah-yeah, I will start right away," Minato grumbled in annoyance.
"How do you know all this?" Anko asked.
"Thanks to our new spy, Rin!" the blond young man said while motioning to the girl to enter.
"It is a pleasure to be here, thank you for the new body, Baron Shi-sama," Rin said with a bow, openly ignoring the discreet glare Veronica sent her.
"Welcome between us," Kushina said.
"Well, after 'The Incident' I had to take her in...it was the right thing to do," Naruto said with a sigh.
"It was not your fault, and I am partly to blame too, we both have took responsibilities, but I do not hate you," the young woman answered with a gentle smile.
"Thank you," the Necromancer muttered with a relieved expression.
"What's the next mission?" Tayuya asked, trying to change subject.
"We are getting close to the final stages; Akatsuki is reduced to very few members although the strongest, we have enough information about the Daymios and their families and the name of the Shop carries enough power to open most of the doors we need opened without using violence...we are almost ready, we only need few weeks," the Necromancer answered.
Somewhere – at the same time -
In a dark, abandoned lab, a young man wearing glasses was injecting a new mixture directly in his veins, his skin had already started resembling the one of a snake while gaining a pure-white colour.
Coughing in agony the young man fell on his knees, screaming in agony as the new batch of serum started its work to change him, taking him farther away from being 'human' in appearances.
"No...I am not...myself yet..." Kabuto muttered between clenched teeth, a deranged giggle escaping him once the pain subsided.
Omake 1 – 'The incident' -
In the Shop Near The Underworld was a quiet day, Naruto was calmly talking to an housewife about her husband NOT cheating on her and so her just wasting time and money about it while guarded by Minato and Kushina in their turn as guards.
The other guards were instead planning for themselves, a girl, a young woman and an Human Doll walking back and fort in their own room in the underground quarters, unable to decide wheter or not enact their plan.
"At this rate Master will never acknowledge me...maybe he sees me more like a daughter? I will have to change this," Veronica muttered while looking at the vial in her hands.
"The fucker keeps implying and implying but he never acts, he has responsibilities! He used me for that Touch of his and ever since then I can't have a calm night of sleep, I want an apology, or at least a proper fuck!" Tayuya said with a snarl before gaining a devious smile.
"I can always 'help' him decide...his original body his immune to toxins, but aphrodisiacs are not considered like that, a little case of Blue Balls will teach him," she said with an evil-sounding chuckle.
With Anko -
the young woman was 'innocently' whistling while nearing the protected area where the Necromancer stored his Original Body between clients.
"Always so restricted, my dear Baron Shi...you should let yourself loose and enjoy some fun, I bet Sahara and her sisters would really appreciate...you all will thank me later," she said to herself while opening the body's mouth to drop two red pills in its stomach before walking away with a proud smile on her face.
Later that day -
While the Necromancer was saluting the last guest before his short pause for lunch, Veronica had already moved his original body on the seat behind the desk, discreetly pouring the content of her vial in its mouth.
"Hoy, Master! Your Test subjects are making a mess again! Wanna send me to them?" Tayuya asked.
"No, I will talk to them, I will just remember to our friends who is in charge," Naruto answered, followed down-stairs by Veronica.
"Perfect!" the flautist said with a feral smile while jabbing a needle in the blond's original body before following him.
In the same instant Tayuya too disappeared Kushina entered to escort Sahara and her sisters inside.
"Oh! He must be down in the lab, he will go call him before he forget to eat in order to experiment...again," Kushina said with a sigh.
"Oooh! Look! His body is already here...wanna have some fun?" Kankuo said with a devious smile.
"What have you planned?" Temari asked with a groan.
"Nothing bad, I swear! Just a little thing I prepared just in this case," she answered.
"What is it?" Sahara asked with narrowed eyes.
"I wanted to have Temari drinks this and see what our sweet boy would do with a rabid girl jumping him, it's the strongest aphrodisiac one can find around, since the body is already here, we can have some fun since he won't have other visits for at least two hours," Kankuo answered.
"AND YOU WANTED ME TO DRINK THAT?!" Temari yelled in anger.
"Shhhh! Only few drops, just to get him a little bothered...worst case scenario he will just get a little angry, but if we are lucky we will have a lot of fun!" the puppet mistress answered with a lecherous smile.
"...Fine, but I am going first," Sahara said with a little blush.
"SAHARA!" Temari said in scandal.
"Too late! Two against one! Open up darling! It's a very sweet medicine!" Kankuo said while pouring three drops in the blond-haired body.
Few instants for the three sister to seat and hide the proofs and the Necromancer re-entered the room.
"Annoying Akatsuki, sorry to keep you waiting," Naruto said as he, Tayuya, Anko, Veronica and Kushina entered.
"Don't worry, we had not waited long," Sahara said with a calm tone.
"HOY! Guess who came to visit?" Minato said with a wide smile while accompanying inside a certain bun-haired girl.
"Good morning, I hope I am not interrupting anything important," Tenten said with a small bow.
"No-no, there is always place for a friend just come ins...ugh!..uuuuhn!...ARGH!" the blond young man said while switching body before going wide-eyed and grasping the wood of his desk in pain.
"MASTER!" Veronica said in horror, moving immediately at his side.
"NNNNGH! AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" the Necromancer growled, tearing away her clothes before pouncing on her.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Kushina yelled while watching her rabid son plow inside the girl with foaming mouth and crazed eyes.
"WHOA! Just few drops and he is like that?" Kankou blurted out in amazement at the loud moans of Veronica.
"Few drops? You gave him something?" Kushina asked with narrowed eyes, trying to ignore the Human Dolls' screams of pleasure and the howling of the young man pounding her.
"Well...a strong aphrodisiac...but only few drops!" the Puppet User said.
"You too?!" Tayuya said in horror, her eyes still glued to the show of carnal debauchery as the desk started groaning and crack under the strength of the pelvic thrusts of the Necromancer.
"I...I gave him something myself...just for a joke..." Anko said with a pale face.
"ME...ME TOOO!" Veronica screamed between her moans, giving out a shrilly shriek as her Master switched to her 'back door'.
"HEY! What's happening here?!" Rin asked while joining the scene with the temporary body she got in exchange for her help.
"AAAAARGH!" Naruto screamed as he grabbed her arm to drag the woman in the furious act of copulation, leaving the exhausted, and completely 'filled' Veronica rest a little while clutching to the wood for dear life, panting heavily.
"All those doses?...uh-ho..." Anko muttered as the HUNGRY eyes of the Necromancer fell on the group of women.
"Kushina-sama? What should we..." Tenten tried to ask before watching the woman and her husband run out, close the door behind them and probably seal it.
"LIKE HELL WE REMAIN INSIDE! HE WILL FUCK US TOO!" both parents yelled at the same time from outside.
"COWARDS! OPEN THIS DOOR! LET ME OUT!" the weapon Mistress yelled while punching on the solid door, growing desperate as Sahara had apparently willingly joined the thing by herself and was now screaming herself hoarse.
"...You know what? Fuck this! It's not like Neji will wake-up any time soon, at least I will gain some experience from this, and Kami forbid, sex aside he may even be good boyfriend material, Necromancy or not," Tenten said with a growl of annoyance at seeing the door stuck.
"Make room, I am coming through," she then said while undressing, sighing at the idiocy of drugging an hormonal teen and then act surprised if he lose control.
Rain Village – Hidden Room under the Kage Tower – a week later -
"Where is Obito, Konan?" Nagato asked.
"Still in his room, crying," the woman answered.
"Still hurt?" the Rinnegan user asked surprised.
"Why so surprised? Rin herself, our 'Leader' former crush just appeared yesterday to tell him how he should stop trying to win her affection after being ruined by Baron Shi in what apparently was a six-day-long sex marathon where he and others where locked in an endless orgy without stops to eat, sleep or drink, and barely with bathroom breaks, before regaling Obito with very vivid details about everything the man did to her that forever spoiled her to the point that they had no choice than to become a couple to at least take responsibilities..." Konan answered with narrowed eyes.
"What now?" Nagato asked with a sigh.
"Six days of no-stop sex...and he has not SIX bodies he can control at the same time...where is my gang-bang, Nagato? When you asked me to be your girlfriend I accepted and secretly hoped for one, BUT I AM STILL WAITING!" she answered in anger.
"W-W-W-Well...we...we had to manage the Akatsuki and-and take over Rain Village, I-I h-had not a lot of time...b-b-but we can do it now I-if you want," Nagato answered in embarrassment.
"NO! I have an head-ache now!" Konan answered before leaving the room with an huff.
The supposed 'God' of Akatsuki groaned before stealing a glance at his female Path before shivering.
"No...definitely not going towards that, I can still feel what she would feel," he muttered with a gag of revulsion.
"BOOOOOOOOOOO-OOOOOOOH! Why do you have to do this to me Rin-chan?! WHY! BOOOOOH!" from inside a near room, a pitiful cry of despair could be heard as the REAL Leader of Akatsuki hugged his pillow to cry in sorrow and humiliation for his shattered male pride.
Okay! This marks another chapter completed, next story updated will be "Naruto Bizarre Adventure" and then a new one of "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Tremor230 Style".
