It was two weeks into the holidays and Narcissa was sitting in the beautiful garden of the Malfoy Manor thinking about a certain young girl that had been avoiding her. Little did she know the girl who she was thinking about was watching her from the bedroom window.

Jennifer watching the older witch for a good hour before sighing and walking down to the garden sitting next to Narcissa. "Umm... Hey Narcissa" she said softly.

Narcissa looked up seeing the young girl. "Oh... Hey Jennifer" she said a little shocked by the girl being there next to her after two weeks of trying to avoid her.

Jennifer sat down next to the older witch with a sigh. "I'm sorry about ignoring you these past two weeks" she said softly before going on. "But it hurt when you said you couldn't love me..." she confessed.

"I know dear, and I'm sorry but I am just scared about how I feel, I felt attracted to you the moment I saw you. But I'm married" Narcissa said sadly with a sigh. She felt bad for always hurting the young witch, but she didn't know what else to do about it.

"Could we at least try and find a way to figure it out, cause honestly I don't know if I could live without you" the younger witch said, pain dripping in her voice, tears filling the brim of her eyes. It was so easy for anyone to tell she was breaking and that she needed the woman in front of her.

"I'm sorry Jennifer, but...-" Narcissa started but was cut off by the young girl's lips meeting her own, and she pulled back slightly knowing she was about to hurt this girl again and she didn't want that. "I'm sorry" she muttered softly and stood up walking over to the water feature.

"I guess I will just go and pack my stuff than... and spend the rest of my holidays at home alone... there is no point in me being here any longer... I will only get hurt more if I do." Jennifer stated before standing up and going back ingot her room.

Jennifer was upset and hurt about what Narcissa was doing, every time she got close she would get pushed away again, and it hurt so much she could feel her heart tearing in two and she hated the feeling. After walking into her room and pulling her trunk out from under the bed and slowly started packing it, trying to find ways to feel better about leaving but there was no good reason that would make her feel better, she loved Narcissa and that was all she knew for sure. She wanted to stay with the woman she loved and the woman who loved her but she had to come back down to earth and accept it was never going to happen.

There were many reasons why Narcissa couldn't be with Jennifer, the age difference, she was married and her son was the same age as the girl. But no matter how much she told herself it was wrong, she still wanted it... wanted her... and she wanted to be with Jennifer badly.

A few weeks went by and Jennifer had already gone home. Narcissa thought everything was going to back too normal, but Merlin was she wrong, everything got worse. She longed more for the younger witch, she was always depressed and always wanted to be alone, it was two days before Christmas and she went out of the Manor apparating to Jennifer's home. She stood looking at the house for a few moments before slowly walking up to the door and ringing the doorbell.

Jennifer had been in bed for the last few days. When she heard the door bell, she slowly dragged herself from the bed getting her night robe on and went down to answer the door. When she saw her love she went to close the door again, but Narcissa stopped her.

"Jennifer... I miss you..." she said lovingly, making Jennifer look up at her.

"Every time I get close to you, Narcissa you push me away and it hurts... I don't want to get hurt again" the young girl said softly, trying to close the door again but yet the older witch stopped her again, gently stepping in the house.

"I don't want to hurt you again... I don't want to leave you again" Narcissa said touching the girl's cheek before kissing her softly. " I love you Jennifer" she whispered.

Jennifer smiled slightly and closed the door taking Narcissa further into the house..
