The next morning the two women woke up tangled together, their naked bodies fitted together like pieces of a puzzle, like they had been sleeping next to each other for years. Jennifer smiled as she gently rubbed her eyes and saw blonde hair next to her. "Cissa, it's time to wake up, or I'll miss the train." She whispered to the woman next to her before placing a gentle kiss to her lips. It was only after saying the words that Jennifer realised that she was going back to school that day and wasn't going to be able to sleep next to Narcissa again for a while. She sighed as she got out of bed and pulled her robe back on over her naked body as she smiled at the older woman who still slept soundly on the bed. After a minute or so of watching her, Jennifer went back into the room she was meant to be sleeping in and started packing her trunk, thinking about what happened the night before the whole time.
Narcissa woke up after Jennifer had already left the room, and she sighed as she realised the young woman wasn't next to her. She got out of bed and got dressed before going to Jennifer's room and walked inside without knocking on the door and closed it behind her. "Hello, beautiful." She whispered as she gently wrapped her arms around the woman from behind. "I really enjoyed last night." She added placing a gentle kiss to the side of the girl's neck.
Jennifer couldn't help but smile as she felt the woman's arms around her. "I'm glad it was with you." Jennifer whispered to her, hoping she would pick up on the hint that she was her first. "I'm going to miss you while I'm gone." She spoke as she turned in the woman's arms, so she was facing her. "I kind of don't want to go back, but I'll let my parents down if I don't." She sighed as she hugged her, gently resting her head on the woman's shoulder.
The blonde closed her blue eyes as she hugged her back and placed a loving kiss to the top of her head. "I'm going to miss you too, chicka." She whispered as she held back the tears, it wouldn't help either of them if she started crying before breakfast, after all they had to face Draco. "But you can always write me, and I will be right here, I promise." The blonde added as she rubbed the young woman's back. "Get dressed, dear. Breakfast will be ready in five minutes." She told her before pulling out of the hug and placing a gentle kiss on her lips and leaving the room.
The young brunette sighed as she watched the blonde leave the room but did as she was told and got dressed but decided to finish packing her trunk, it wouldn't matter if she was a few minutes late for breakfast, it wouldn't be the first time.
Draco had been in his room getting ready to back to school and getting his hair just perfect, after all he wanted to look good on his first day back. As he walked out of his room he saw his mother walking down the stairs towards the dining room and he quickly followed her. "Mother, wait up." He called as they reached the bottom of the marble staircase. "Good morning, mother." He greeted placing a kiss to her cheek before walking past her into the dining room. "Will you be alright without anyone around?" He asked softly as he sat down, his mother sitting down across from him.
Narcissa smiled at her son's question and gave him a small nod. "I'll be just fine, sweetheart." She promised him. "I think it will be good for me to be alone for a while." She added.
It wasn't long after breakfast had been served that Jennifer came down from her room and sat down next to Draco, as part of the plan not to draw attention to the relationship between herself and Narcissa. "Draco, are you looking forward to going back to school? Maybe this term you will get, you-know-who." She teased and Draco almost went bright red, as Narcissa looked confused.
"I told you not to mention that around my parents." Draco told Jennifer in a whispered scold.
"Oops, sorry." She apologised, but Narcissa wasn't going to let it go that easy.
"Who is it that my son likes?" The blonde asked the young woman she had been sleeping with.
"I think it best if he tells you, Narcissa." She answered honestly, as Draco almost melted into the chair, while the two women looked at him.
"I like someone at school." Draco said hoping his mother would leave it alone, he wasn't ready to tell her. Only Jennifer knew who it was at that point. "I don't think you and father would approve." He added as he looked down at the food on his plate.
Narcissa looked at her son for a moment before speaking once more. "Sweetheart, if you love someone, it isn't my place to approve or disapprove of them." She told him honestly. "There are things I have wanted for you since you were born, but you are old enough to take your own path now." She added, meaning every word.
Draco was surprised and looked up at his mother as a small smile graced his usually straight face. "And if this person happened to be in a different house to me?" He questioned going for the easy part of the problem first.
"It's okay if they are in a different house, the house you are in doesn't define who you are deep inside." She told him with a loving smile on her face as she reached out to hold his hand.
"I told you she would support you no matter what, Dra." Jennifer told her friend, before she excused herself from the table and went back up stairs to finish packing her things.
Draco and Narcissa watched as the brunette left the room, before Draco looked back at his mother. "And is this person wasn't a girl?" He added fear now in his eyes, this was the part that scared him the most.
Narcissa couldn't help but chuckle at her son's question. She got up from her spot and walked around the table before wrapping her arms around her son. "As long as he makes you happy, I'll be okay with whoever it is." She promised before pulling back, with tears of pride in her eyes. "I'll always love and support you, Draco."
Draco couldn't help but smile as he hugged his mother back. "I love you, mother." He whispered. "I'm going to go finish packing now." He told her before leaving the room.
Narcissa sighed with a smile as her son left the room. "Maybe he'll be more understanding than I thought." She thought to herself, before calling the elves to clean up the table.
