It had been a few weeks since anything had happened, everyone was still on the edge in-case of an attack and natsu was still trying to track lisanna. Lucy sighed as she sat at her writing desk, a letter to her mother in front of her.
"Lucy?" she turned to see freed approaching her from behind, he put his hands on her shoulders "are you okay?" she smiled and put her free hand onto his "yeah, just can't seem to relax, got this bad feeling"
she felt his hand slightly tighten, then he leaned forward to put a kiss on the top of her head "I won't let anything happen to you, I love you"
Lucy blushed "hey how about I go out and get some stuff to make spaghetti?"
he let go as she put her letter into the box and turned around, he hugged her to him "okay, I'll go take a bath" he kissed her again and left towards the bathroom. She grabbed her stuff and headed out.

Lucy was halfway through getting the things that she needed when she felt a sting on her arm "w-what?" her vision was getting blurry and she dropped all her bags the last thing she saw was a cruel smile.
When Lucy woke again she was tied to a chair in some kind of abandoned building, immediately she tried to move her arms and break her binds "ugh!" she rocked her chair hoping it would help to free her "lucccccccy" Lucy froze, her eye's open wide 'n-no..' she swished her head to see behind her but there was nothing but darkness, a chilling laugh echoed "you can't escape me now lucccccccy" tugging even more on the ropes binding her 'no no no'
Lisanna emerged from the darkness an evil smirk on her face "think you could take what's mine? You know you were just a fill in for me"
Lucy gritted her teeth and kept moving her wrists about letting lisanna go on her insane rant.
Lisanna stalked closer to Lucy a knife in her hand, it surface gleam and shiny "you've gone mad!" yelled Lucy, leaning back from the imposing weapon.
Then suddenly a crash boomed and light poured into the room "LUCY!" freed and natsu charged in, freed took out his sword pointing it at lisanna rage boiling in his eyes "how dare you!"
natsu quickly untied Lucy and rushed to freeds side to stare down his once best friend, Lucy rubbed her wrists and stayed behind her lover.
Lisanna was shaking, her teeth grit a look of pure hate and madness on her features, she gripped her knife even tighter "no...no..NO!" she screamed and lunged towards Lucy

Everything froze, there was just a dripping sound and some gasping, Lucy opened her eyes, lisanna was right in front of her. The smile still on her face but as she laughed blood came out splashing on to lisanna's lips, just before she fell to the floor, freed's blade coming free as she fell. Lucy gazed up to meet his eyes find fear in them 'whys he scared?' she didn't feel the pain till she looked down the knife embedded in her tummy "oh" was all she got out before falling unconscious.

freed held her in his arms as she fell, lifting her into bridal style "we need to get her to Wendy!" he then ran faster then he had before, pushing himself to go faster he needed to get to Wendy.
Natsu ran besides him in silence, not before long they came to the guild hall natsu slammed open the doors, everyone in-side jumped and as soon as they saw the knife impaled in Lucy the guild went into mad mode, freed rushed to the infirmary laying Lucy down as softly as he could onto one of the beds "Lucy, I'm sorry" tears escaped his eyes as he looked down at the woman he loved. 'I failed her, I didn't protect her'
"Lucy!" Wendy called from the doorway, she ran over and looked at the damage "freed you need to pull out the knife so I can heal her!" he stared down to where the knife lay and wrapped his hand around it, he closed his eyes putting his fore head on to hers "I'm sorry" then yanked it out.
Wendy began healing her with her magic, Erza came rushing in with bandages along with natsu and grey "is she gunna be aright?" natsu asked
Wendy looked towards him "it'll be a long night"

Soft...everything felt soft she could hear someone calling her, but she was so comfortable here. She could hear more calling then she heard Freed's voice 'I have to wake up' she struggled at first her eye lids felt heavy, her body felt sore "freed?" she called her eyes finally opened and she saw him, him the man she love more then anything, smiling at her tears in his eyes and relief in them too.
He leaned forward and kissed her full on the lips, his hand resting on her cheek.
"LUSHIEEEEE!" happy collided into freed pushing him over, happy took no notice and snuggled closer to Lucy "we were all so worried! don't do that again!" Lucy giggles and hugged happy, Freed didn't look to happy with all the love the happy was getting "how long have I been out?" she asked
"only a day, there was some trouble with the healing, but Wendy wouldn't say what, not until you were awake too"
Lucy frowned 'well that's unlike her' "where is Wendy?"
Happy popped up "I'll go get her!" he flew off as fast as when he's come in, Lucy let out another chuckle at her friends antics.
"so what happened?"
Freed sat on the bed "well the first priority was that we get you healed, then after you were stabilized, Mira and Elfman went to go get lisanna's...body...and there going to have a proper burial for her." he told her solemnly
Lucy nodded, 'she was still there sister' she knew the hurt of losing family, she put her hand on her chest.
The door opened again this time more quietly, Wendy smiled when she saw Lucy awake, she jogged in and hugged Lucy lightly "I'm glad your awake"
She smiled and hugged her back when freed cut in "so are you going to tell us now?"
Wendy smiled wide and nodded, she stepped back looking at both of them before saying "congratulations! Your pregnant Lucy!"
